The app is overall good and I appreciate that it doesn't have ads like other upi apps but the one con which I would like to point out is that the amount processing time is way too slow compare to other upi apps just fix that and this will be the best upi app
Errors out when I try to add a credit card or make it a modification to my payment process. Direct me to go to my profile and check for critical messages to which there are none. I have two trouble calls into Google with no response or results. You people at Google need to make it to where I can access Google Pay on a laptop.
These app is playing tricks with their customers they introduce their customers with some games of sending money more transactions so that they can atlast get some energy as a gift. But reality is far away from the gimmick. Most of the customers get nothing out of this and these app makes a lot and huge money from the others transactions. These is the main reason of giving 1⭐ cause in this way lots of people wasting their time and money using the gpay app. And literally I'm also victim of that.
Every second transaction will be the failed transaction, no customer support system, no resolutions will be provided moreover customer support system is very rude, I suggest not to use this app go for alternatives many more good application with good customer support available. Very much disappointed from GooglePay.
The bad thing is there is limits for transaction.also I am not able to send money sometimes even if it haven't reached the maximum number of transactions. It says "you have entered the wrong pin many times" -but the irony in the statement is that I haven't made any single transaction this day. Kindly solve the issue. I haven't changed the UPI pin,the problem is with the app
This app is too bad. They are playing tricks with their customers. They have launched a new game in their app and customers will get some cashback after completing the game. But there are ways or means to complete it. I have done all the ways like money transaction, mobile recharge etc. But they didn't give me a "googly" card. That's why I'm giving this app a one 🌟 because they're busy with their profits and there is no price for customer reviews. I am literally sorry to use this application.

I'm using gpay regularly... doing transaction on a regular basis...but most of the times again and again it's asking to register with bank account and asking to activate the bank account....I don't know why it's like this... it's really difficult while paying for some emergency transactions..
This version of the app is quite slow. Sometimes it gets stuck while making payments. It's frequent to payments getting declined midway. Many times the QR code scanner fails to open and scan the QR code.
It has been a problem for some time.Sometimes the transaction is not complete. And when it is completed, it does not give rewards.Today I have completed ten cricket cards but have not been rewarded.There are many bugs in Google Pay.
I am currently facing a lot of crashes. I have faced transaction issues and the payment has been stuck. The money has also not been credited back. I have lost that amount of money. There are good amounts of cashbacks and the payment is seamless all of the times. However, the app is not at all optimized for high refresh rate screens. Please make it smooth!
Everytime I try to add the bank account, there is an error of something went wrong. I have been facing this from past 2 months. Contacted several times to CS team but they simply said that technical team is currently looking into it and it will be resolved soon. No update from their side from past one month. Most worst payment I have ever seen in my life. Refund policy is so poor. I have been waiting for my refund from last 5 days but i didn't get it. Now after 5 days customer care is saying that u have to submit bank statement. I have never seen so much formality. This app takes so much time to refund while other apps like paytm and phone pay refund within an hour. Worst app i would like to give zero raiting to this app.
I have been using Google play for literal years and ca not even get into how much I enjoy spending on games and now it says I must have Google pay and yet everytime I try to add money to me account via gift card (cant redeem) to my bank account and it keeps telling g me to verify my info which I have done and then there's something else to where I cannot add money to my account to save my life. I've opened tickets and have been waiting for weeks. I am beyond ticked off at this point. Worthless

So now I have to root my phone and use magisk to use the app.Do you really think you are making something good by blocking some devices from the app? After recent update I always have an issue browsing the account balance. As many times i try to check the account balance, a notification flashes highlighting your bank server doesn't responding. Kindly fix this problem urgently. Thankyou.
Fake coupons provided. If i call to customer support, the response and the way of their answers are very improper. Using app for a longer period, never experienced this type of issue. As time passes service need to be increased but here the service is decreasing day by day.

Facing too much issue since last few months. Suddenly it deactivates the account and then it is neither letting me remove or add account. Always getting same message "couldnt reach server". It has become irritating. Same problem is still continuing after 6-7 months. Recently, second account deactivated because location was switched off and now it is not getting activated. I guess i will have to shift to paytm.
The rewards are not at all relevant. I really want to use this app, but the irrelevant rewards makes it so much difficult. Amazon pay offers much better/personalized rewards instead. Edit: Amazon pay is better than Google pay because of it's much better rewards/offers system. To think of an advertisement company whose search results are The Best cannot find relevant offers is surprising or maybe GPay doesn't want to give relevant offers in which case is quite trashy of them.
Not secure at all. My card # was used to make multiple unauthorized charges in google play & apple store. Will be stuck disputing for a very long time & its hindered our familys online gaming experience. Dont know what happened to Google lately but between this & all the Chrome updates that dont work on your phones not a happy customer at this point. Hope you can get fixes that are more standardized someday, its difficult but can be done. Thanks for your time!
Why is location compulsory? Google will tell you that it's to protect users against fraud, but in reality it just another way to capture the data of the users. Paytm is 10 times better than Google Pay. No forceful enabling of location, no forceful updates and 99% successful transaction rate. I only use Google Pay when there is no other option. My first choice is always PayTm over Google Pay.
I was using this app for a long time.Due to some reason I have updated my bank mobile number and try to update gpay account with new mobile number. Now it's not allowing me to add bank account details. I have raised a concern and also email communication is there. At initial i got few replies for the same but issue not get resolve. Now they have stopped replying on email. Not sure what kind of service is this.
Awful design. If you want anything other than ads or the ability to give Google more data (such as using a saved gift card), it takes digging through multiple hidden menus.
Unreliable. Keeps hanging. Transactions don't get through more often comparitively. Asked me to re-register few times. Had to uninstall and reinstall to keep it going. It used to be a better app.
Its so awful when you use google pay thousands of time in many phones and when you want to activate google pay in new phone its just stuck on activating your account so sick of this thing. The processing is never ending im waiting for atleast half an hour its not activating my account. I love using google pay but this thing is really aweful.
Why need phone number in USA to use the app? Can't you combine the new and old version of the app into one?? The main issue is that you have "new" version and "old" version for the app. And the link to the old version is down there in small letters... For the rest of the world that is none American...
Edit: 6/1/22: update fixed prev issue May 26th update broke the app for Samsung Fold 3. According to the reviews, I'm not the only one, app will keep crashing immediately everytime you try to open it. And not much help from the devs who only reply telling you to use the most up to date app. Umm hello, that update is what broke it. It was a good app while it worked, not sure what they did to make it non-functional, hopefully they roll back the update soon :(
I downloaded this app only to hold my virtual tickets, external app says it's the fastest way to access them, can I find them? Nope. Horrible app no walk through no tutorial you're just expected to know how to use the app. Google is more interested in saving your credit card information. Update: the link Google gave me to fix this problem doesn't exist!
Update - Below issues got fixed. So updated my rating. Have been using this app for many years now, never had an issue. But I recently changed my phone and I am unable to add back my ICICI bank account. Reported the issue last week via feedback option in the app, but no response till now. If this continues, I don't have any other choice than to switch to a different Upi app.
It was good before, but now this is the last app I would use for making payments. It doesn't show my credited transactions history, nor any messages are sent and now i can't even make payments properly.
I have no problem related to app but reward system getting completed without any reason. Like construction of home, energy rain and on my recent transactions they showing I got cricket card. When I am not even fan of cricket. Please remove this stupid reward system from the app.

This app customer support is really bad ... As i transfered amount to my friend in medical emergency of 90k and its stuck and shows processing so customer support team is saying it will take 3 WORKING days as they don't have any solution of anybody's trouble... Gpay getting crash frequently after updated even in pixel device. Really annoying when doing payment at shops . Sooner switch other payment options, if it's not sorted quickly.
Can't open the app, there is some issues in the app. Updated the app, then re installed and have stable fast wifi internet connection but app not working.
Terrible app. Had to download in order to save concert tickets to my phone. You have to navigate through three screens to access your tickets, and there is no indication of how to do so. I know it's not technically a wallet app, but come on. Not only that, but upon accessing your tickets, if you do not have a saved payment method, the app opens up your camera unprompted to try to get you to add a credit card! I look forward to unistalling when done with it.
Update: On top of everything else, now the app just force closes every time I try to open it. It's completely unusable! Unnecessarily complicated. Google figured out how to take something as simple as a wallet of cards and turn it into so many tons of tabs, menus, animations, scrolling pages, transitions, etc. that it'll make you sea sick! What a complete freakin mess. What idiots made something so easy into such a complicated, frustrating experience!? Just get a Samsung and use Samsung Pay.
Super upsetting that they removed the ability to send money through a browser. It was always a good fallback and now I basically just have to wait for an update because the app crashes on launch. I've tried everything available from a consumer perspective and still can't get it to work. I've reinstalled the app, cleared data/cache, checked for device updates, restarted my device, even gone through and shut down all background apps before starting gpay to see if anything else was interfering.
I have the latest update of this app installed. My internet has sufficient speed to make a payment. But still, more than half of my payments get stuck in 'Processing' stage. Money gets debited and I have to wait for the refund. 'Proceed To Pay' option takes several seconds or minutes to load. Please stop focusing on advertising. First, improve your app. Your app used to be good. Now, it's not.
Most of the time payment failed, it is so traumatic, imagine you are paying amount in thousands at any shop, balance get deducted but the other side person did not receive money. It is most oftenly happening, at least once out of five transactions, which is really too much. I use GPAY for ease of payment, not to get unnecessary tension. Today (1 June 22) my two transactions get failed. Other thing it is not showing balance always, while at the same time Paytm/Amazon show my balance easily.

I hate this app. I downloaded the app so I could send money to my husband to help with his mom's doctor's bill but I never could get verified. I jumped through all of the hoops. Send pictures of everything they ask for and still can't be verified. It was just a waste of time. I ended up using the western union app instead.
The card auto-fill option hasn't worked for easily 6+ months. I've tried uninstalling, updating, clearing browser cache, and multiple other steps and it still doesn't work. Moving to another payment app.

When one says gpay, we all think it is the best. But, to resolve a problem, regarding their App they are not helpful. Even I think their specialist team is the worst. First they told within three days problem will be solved, then no time frame given. Still my issue is pending more than one week. The customer care is not customer friendly and it seems we are working for them. Very bad. But no choice rather than using . Hope government will bring alternative to gpay.

Always transactions fails. I don't know why, but I can't unistall this app. Many of the important works has been disturbed just because of gpay. If transaction fails they don't even credit it back within seconds like Paytm does. Ridiculous app.

Not working in my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, it start crashes from today, The application is not opening. Getting crushed in the beginning. I uninstalled the application and reinstalled it, But still same problem.
It's not intuitive, and the help feature didn't prove to be of any use. I had to read through reviews on the play store to figure out how to access accounts that weren't credit cards - session ticket membership and covid vaccine. It turns out you can access them by clicking on the center bar up top, which says "set up contactless", and gives no indication that is an access point.
It should be renamed as "Oops, something went wrong!". Since last few updates it is not showing transaction history and Google is least bothered to fix things. So I have stopped using it because I don't want to loose money because of this unstable and buggy app.
I don't have any complaint about User interface, but you made this application quite heavy and it is difficult to run this app. It buffer alot while making payment to anyone, also it takes location permission which is unnecessary. Even the application is stuck while scrolling and making payment. I only request to make this application smoother, faster and lighter so the user make payment make quickly.

Many times it has happened that when I try to enter the pin while opening the app, it shows wrong pin even though I enter the right pin. And after waiting for an hour or two I enter the same pin then I'm able to open the app. Please fix this bug.
I lost money many times while booking tickets from irctc app through google pay. Transaction fails then the money will credit from my account but the joke is after that no history of that transaction will be shown in google pay. I tried to call them many times but no solutions found yet so the money is gone forever.

TNEB bills through Bill desk are not updating in Google pay. Every time I need to hit refresh to get bill details. Can't this be automatically fetched? Or 1) provide a primary refresh button for all the bills at a single location. Currently refresh is provided only after navigating in to the added regular payment. 2) electricity bill payments is not user friendly when we display them in the drop down list one after another with no references(this also automatically shuffles) .
Complicated app. I cant understand your offers and how to use it. The best app is Phonepay. I am not going to use this app for transactions anymore. I had the worst experience today. I paid money to a merchant, deducted from my account but couldnt received by the merchant. I waited sometime then I had to pay from phonepay which was very successful. For a single item, I had to pay twice. I will not recommend this app to anybody. You should make it hassle free.
It's a payment stucker application. So many times i try to pay money it's debited from my account and don't credited to the receiver's account. And in any urgent Situation they even don't help you they just asked you to wait to go to the hell. And the rewarding system is the worst thing in the application , they will always pay the lowest amount of the rewards. It's better to use the bank's own applications.🤬

I can't trust this app. Shows transaction successfull but bills are not paid to service provider. Faced issues twice. Amount gets deduct from our account and is not received by service provider. Every time we contact them and raise issue, amount get paid to service provider in 3-5 days. So you have to keep track on every transaction whether it is received by service provider or not. Whenever you put complaint they will say you to contact your bank.
Many time it happens that money debited from account and but payment did not credited to receipent account immediately. It takes 2-3 days. So it is not advisable for purchasing from vendors, as they required immediate payment. That's why I have stopped using this app. It happens twice with me.
Thanks Google for developing this must needed app. This app has made a revolution change in payment method. It is safer and easier to use the app for making payments. The rewards are useful and campaigns are more attractive and interesting. Loved the app, rewards, and campaigns. Keep updating with more features. Kudos to engineering team.

The worst customer service ever experienced. Called them to inform of not being able to connect bank account and was told that further communication would happen shortly. Nothing happened for days, and later when calls were made and the issue raised, they even started cutting the calls or leaving them unattended!
Off late google pay is getting slower n slower, whenever try to scan the bar code and make the payment , it says bank server down, at times the money gets debited from the account but still in Google pay it reflects as processing, because of this issue there have been many arguments with the POS people. Please rectify the same at the earliest
Why is the wallet part of this so inaccessible? It's a tiny button way at the top of the screen! But if you want to link your accounts to give Google more data or see a page of deals (ads!), then rest assured those are quite easy to access. Absolute failure of design. When I open my wallet, I want to see my cards, not a bunch of receipts. That should be secondary. And the ads? Seriously? If they have to be there, put them further out of the way. That shouldn't be a primary option.
There has been new bug with the latest update... whenever we scan QR or try to do transaction internet is disconnected and connects back after few seconds this causes the transaction to fail and gives no internet this has been a problem for all transactions and due to this we have to use phone pay as this error is not happening at their platform..fix the bug asap.
App doesn't work with mobile data , everytime I try to use this app to pay a vendor using mobile data, it just wont work. It somehow kills the 4g connection and ends up showing no internet even though there is a good connection available, hence i am forced to use apay which is seemless. This started happening offlate only. Google team please look into it as i cannot move around with wifi everywhere. If the app work with wifi, it should with mobile data especially when apay and Paytm works.
Third class app for payment. Half of the time i can't make payment because of server error.. i can't even check my balance due to server error. for emergency purpose i suggest to do not use this app for payment, you stuck in between processing of payment.. i didn't expect this kind of performance from Gpay.. really disappointed. Higher authority should do something about this glitch..
Recieve the blue checkmark yet the payment never goes through. Does not work at all with American Express. Update. Most issues solved now. Issues with unlock working If the phone is already unlocked and app running. Potential. Just not there yet.
Please don't use this app for any transactions. It used to be a good app, but nowadays most of the transactions that I do go to ' payment processing ' status. The money gets debited and reaches the recipient after 3 days. It's really pointless if you're trying to send money to someone urgently/ or you're trying to pay any merchant.
Recent update has made app to crash it is not opening . While attempting 10 times it opens for one time very poor . While making payment after all purchases if we face is crash situation how will be it for the user. I will try for a week even if this continues on other way i need install and use other app with same future. I have everything in stable condition.

I talk to support they just said maybe you don't have enough balance or poor network connection but i check everything and it's good my my side and do everything what they said, but it's still doesn't work and I'm so irritated so i decided to change my payment app i suggested everyone not to trust it . This app stop working anytime and you would be on trouble ,so have any another opinion with you....
Payments get stuck very frequently. Amount gets deducted but it does not get credired to payee. There is also no option to cancel the pending transaction. I ended up paying twice to few vendors. Vendors don't pay back since they don't get message for payment received in earlier stuck transaction which gets completed after 2-3 days. Even after GPay has introduced multiple UPI IDs, the problem still persists. Payments get stuck. Other UPI apps are way better.
95% of the time when I open the app, the app opens without fingerprint recognition. It directly goes to the main page which is not secured. Kindly look into this and fix this soon. Thanks.
After some tedious calls back and forth, they manage to get things fix. Still I don't like te fact that the verification system is very linear. I just wish there is other forms of verifications and protection that would make it easier to get unlocked.

was charged from uber Amsterdam Netherlands on a card I dont use and isnt registered on uber. Found out it was google pay. Look what you have to do to contact about bogus charge with Uber and google. For companies to have ability to charge your credit cards and not be able to contact immediately shouldnt have that capability. I a removed all financial data from gpay and will delete. all ready deleted uber. Google does have strange ability. you make a claim of a false they will delete relative
It refuses to activate my account and keeps asking me to check if the sim is in my phone. I'm using the same Sim and number from before, but it's refusing. If the app gives this much grief once we switch phoned why should we even bother to use it? The help section did absolutely nothing to help. What a pathetic waste of time.
Can't check bank balance. it's always shows some error from bank but same bank balance we can check through phonepay. When payment fails amount debited from the account is not refunded,only they will notify it will be refunded in 3-4 working days. No one cares if you drop mail also they will not care, they will send notification that its not from our end
Neat. Where are my flight tickets? Is this the wrong app? I would've thought they would be front and center somewhere, right beside a list of my cards. Why is this app so unintuitive? Update: Oh, the irony. Me: "App is unintuitive." Google: "Here's a link that you CAN'T CLICK OR COPY from within the play store!" BTW, If you need to send people a link to a guide, then your app is probably unintuitive. Just put a three bar menu like everybody else, and have tickets in their own category.
Why does it randomly decides that there is a new sim card in the phone when no changes have been made. And then when you have to reactivate the bank they cannot detect the sim. Then you realise you have to update the app. Can't you just give message like normal people do to remind us of an update?
It doesn't work most of the times. Currently, nobody can send me money via gpay, I don't know what the prblm is. I tried reinstalling, but no change. Tried seeking help from customer support, didn't even get to talk to someone, be it over phone Or msg.
The app has started crashing recently. The moment I open the app, it shuts down and my phone gets locked. I have to try 3-4 times to just get the app to start.
I replaced the previous review (finding my Hornets tickets) because they have made the App even worse: On the Charlotte FC App: saved event tickets to my phone. To find them in Google Pay: Tap on "Pay Contactless", takes you to "Choose a Card to Set Up" (which I've already done), hit the back arrow - there are your tickets. WHY doesn't a company as tech savvy as Google have a "View passes" button on the home screen. I'd give 0 stars if I could!
Fastest QR code scanner!!! This app has made it impossible for me to pay for anything through an app. From my Discovery+ Subscription to any in-game purchases. No longer can I just update my card and move on. Please go back to the old way of doing things, or make this app usable and useful. Currently, it is neither.*****I already did do that.*****Finally was able to put money on by buying a Google Play gift card, but now it says USA use only, which makes NO G**D*** sense. 90% of the time, the payment gets stuck, so you cannot be sure if it will even go through or not! There should at least be an option to cancel a stuck payment, disgusting app! In response to the reply from the Dev team, tli do not have this issue with phone pe or Paytm. Why does only Gpay have issue with bank transfers? Also, the on-screen instructions are to wait for the payment to get through. What's the point?!
REMOVE THE EXPIRED COUPONS!! So many irrelevant coupons which are not even removed after expiry from the rewards section. DOESN'T GIVE CASHBACK. Usually says - Better Luck Next Time! ( If by chance you get a scratch card after a payment that says from the next payment you'll get cashback; Then Only you get and that too very low like 2 Rupees and max is 6 Rupees) Visually looks good (simple), easy to use. Sometimes payments get stuck (more than other apps).
Worst experience from past few weeks. It always show bank limit error while doing any transactions. I checked bank transaction UPI limit and found that my amount is much lesser ,still it shows that error. Very pathetic app. Switching back to PayTM. Please fix this
I used to be Google for a long time then went to apple for a little to see how it is. I come back to the Google family and it's in shambles. The amount of hoops you have to jump through to do LITERALLY anything is horrid. I can't buy anything on Google play, you tell me to send in an ID. I DO AND YOU JUST SAY THANK YOU. no follow up no "this will happen in x amount of days" nothing. I'm on my phone, I changed my password I sent my information and not verified? Please remove that unnecessary tick mark animation after Scan and Pay. It's a waste of time to wait for animation to go and show the successful payment to the shopkeeper. Why there's no update on this? It's a very basic change to reduce redundant animation.
Why would this app require a screen lock to be set up? It would be one thing to require a pin/ passcode to access the app, but to make it only accessible with a screen lock? Absolutely idiotic. I get it, it's for security. It's my account, and my phone though. It would be one thing if Google finally came out with face unlock, or a fingerprint scanner that ACTUALLY worked, but, no, on their flagship phone, it's buggy at best. The worst UPI app ever I found. I have used many upi apps, among them i found this app has the most payment failure rate. You can't complete a transaction in a single attempt, you have to try 2 -3 times. This happens with me mostly when there is an emergency. I would never recommend anyone to use this app. Rather i recommend PayTm over this.
The UI is a step back from the orig version & it lacks the ability to store pics of all wallet cards in this app incl health ins, voter card, library card, membership IDs, ... Rename it Google Wallet, fix the busy & unintuitive UI, and market this as a bonafide wallet for official use such as a Driver's License, and you will attract many more users.
Wasted money using this app. The payment processing took hours and I had to eventually pay using another app. So ended up paying twice for which I cannot claim refund either. One of the worst UPI apps in the app Store with the worst payment success rate. I mean if the payment didn't go through immediately it should just get cancelled because if it doesn't work we can't wait we'll obviously try with another method.
It has become the worst transaction app now. Everytime you want to make a transaction it crashes. If you are unable to provide service just close the app. We will sought other alternatives. And it's not that only one two times the issue is being faced everyday Everytime same problem arises.

Google Pay won't let me add a card and it won't connect to my Pay Pal account where the card has been successfully added. I tried getting help through Google support, but was just passed around to 10 different agents... Each saying they were transferring me to someone who could help... the "concerned team", which doesn't seem to exist. I think I got transferred to the same person twice during this pass the hot potato session. After two hours of getting absolutely no help I was told that someone would get in contact with me in the next 24-48 hours to resolve my issue. How da fuq does a trillion dollar company not have a better support team and support process?
One of the worst crashing app ever. Even after many years the app is the same worst as it was before. No cash back as well. @Google LLC payment will be successful only if the internet connection is stable. Please check before you respond. And for information I am using the latest version of the app.
Good but need lots of improvement, especially whenever you try to check the balance of your account, it takes million years and try just to successfully show your balance.😠😠😠 Even now i already have tried for five minutes continuously but all in vien and got tired of typing the upi pin again and again. It's been a problem since i have started using gpay and it has not been solved yet.
Useless app and customer support. My account has been disabled so many times due to "suspicious activity" that was literally just me online shopping. It takes them a month to reactivate your account, even with multiple customer service calls and emails, then they will disable your account for shopping on the EXACT same website they disabled it for last time. Customer service on autopilot.
Having problems paying for things because they want me to change my parental controls settings; which I can't find anywhere, I've been trying to find them for over an 2 hour's, I can't locate Parental control's anywhere on this app. Help !!! It takes a lot of times to open this app. After entering the password, it automatically exits. It happens each time. Again repeat the process. After so many logins , actual login happens. I checked for updation. There is no new updation. Then why this is happening..Fed up with this. It is not easy to use this app nowadays. What's the exact reason behind this? Speedy transaction is not possible due to this time delay in login.
2nd time review, On a scale of 10 gpay is only able to show a/c bal. Once. Why is it only easy to pay others and not focussing on savings and on seeing balance? Need to install other apps to see balance wow and the day you start receiving payments from people for your own services, app marks the receiver as fraud. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
Always I find there is a issue in transfering funds. It's takes too long. And now the amount which I transfered it has not been reached to the concern person and it shows has failed but the money is been debited and not yet refunded. Atleast it should have immediate refund like other apps. What can a person do at a emergency time?

We pay more and more using Google pay and win rewards. But the rewards don't work. I won 2 months free subscription of YouTube Premium. But the "Redeem now" button is not even working. More than that there is no option for 2 months subscription option available in YouTube.

Great app for making all kinds of payments and transfers. The rewards and offers section are also a nice addition. Neat UI. But please make the function to lock the app such that it automatically locks the app upon closing the app or locking phone. Currently the 'lock' option must be manually clicked from the settings in order to lock the app which isn't great.
This is an app meant for making payments and not for playing a stupid game. It was much better when it was a no-nonsense app meant only for payments and the rewards were as simple as scratching a card. By introducing this Indi Home game in it you have spoiled the whole app experience for me.
Rewards are comparatively lesser than other payments app. But I like GPay as a cover for other apps. I can keep a track of previous bills and recharges all together in here. Idk why people have given 1 star rating in recent past. I just wish they provide more interesting offers. Rest everything is fine.
App is perfect, but needs enhancement. As of now the app allows multiple bank accounts to be linked to a single phone number with one account as primary. Would be good if the sender gets an option of selecting the accounts instead of primary account receiving the money by default as we get the option during sending the money. Also, the option of sending the money between primary and secondary account is needed. Thanks.
It's can't automatically switch off the Location services after completing the transaction hence acts like a virus and drains/kills your phone also the UI is very complicated. Updated: The app should be able to switch off location services after use or at least here should be popup reminding and directing us to switch off the same.
Payments get stuck at processing most of the times. It's a highly unreliable payment app. A stuck payment holds no proof of transaction. Moreover, you never know if the payment will get cleared or not, this entails double payment, which might be unrecoverable at times. The app should at least notify once such payments get cleared, instead of giving senseless wall notifications that nobody's interested in. App engagement is poor and the in-app activites are mostly senseless. It is not Google std
Can't set up pin and Can't find where to set it up. A whole lot of other unnecessary stuff going on with it and I just wanted to watch a movie that wouldn't just take card information. More and more stuff getting more and more complicated for the hell of it.
I have not been able to do any transactions for a week now on google pay. Can't even check the account balance. It always shows 'something went wrong'. i update the app but still shows the same. it does not work properly in any of the essential times. Useless app
A transaction I made on early Feb never made it through the intended receipient. A service personnel told me that the issue would be resolved within a few hours. Ever since I have been contacting GooglePay help service but each time I got a respond that the issue had been escalated to their specialist team for investigation. It had been more than 3 months since and my fund had not been returned, and they had not bothered to contact me to advise the status or when my money would be returned. I have no more trust in this app and will never use it again.
As soon as new version for app comes, it is broken and starts failing unless user manually update the app. Many simple applications are giving prompts whenever a new version update is available. Why this feature is not implemented in Google Pay yet. This makes the app useless suddenly while in middle of critical transaction and either user have to go play store to check for update and update the app or users tend to switch to alternative payment methods.
This app is terrible now! I had no problems adding my debit card before the change. Now, no matter what I do, it says "We can't add your card. Contact your card issuer." Which I did. My bank confirmed that Google is not sending the token to them when I try to set up the card. This card works just fine for my in-app purchases so I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM. I contacted Google Support via the chat and received no answers. Please fix!!
I have been using this App for more than three months. It has worked very well EXCEPT there is a very ambiguous message after you click "got it?" One cannot be sure whether it is asking to pay again to the same vendor? Or if you say yes will it pay again resulting in a double payment. This "got it?" part is very annoying and confusing.
Unable to add bank account as i did not receive any OTP while adding bank account. Called customer care and uninstalled a bunch of apps that may be causing problem but no use. This has been going on since a couple of weeks. Lastly I also mailed regarding the issue with relevant screenshots but the reply came that i might be entering wrong OTP. How can I if I didn't get any OTP. Please do resolve this issue. That app was great before all this happened.
Still have to use credit/debit card instead of balance. At this rate, they will not be the next PayPal. I have a balance in GPay, but I can't do anything with it except transfer it out. I don't see the point of using it online or in retail stores, since I might as well use my actual card. It's only good for transferring money to/from other people.
This app worked on my Samsung Note 10+ until mid-February 2022 and then, suddenly - poof! It completely stopped working. I make sure to check daily for app updates but, so far, none have fixed the problem. I've checked the phone settings. I've made sure there's no issue with my bank card. Very frustrated..
Google Wallet proved itself to me when I left my card in Jamaica while on a trip to Europe and I was able to use Google Pay at every single register (in 4 different countries on the trip) without giving a single problem. That's a major win in my eyes. I also love all the cash back options and would really like to see them expand these options as much as they possibly can in the future.
Good app for few payments. Recently the app gets stuck for a lot of payment issues. I can't make the payment. And also, the coupon issued is not useful to take. The cashback money is also reduced day by day. The coupon for zomato is completely waste. It is not working in zomato.
Average at best. Doesn't always work and have to pull my card out a lot. Slow to open and use and slow to activate on a scanner. Some times doesn't scan at all. Kinda of a waste when half the time you can't get it to work. Thankfully my card gives me cahs back either way I use it.
Worked Great . . . . Until it Didn't I used Google Pay for years, literally, and had no problems with it on several phones and versions of Android. Then, with no warning, it refused to work with an error that I did not have permission to use it. I tried all of the "fixes" that I found online from all of the other frustrated people having the same problem and nothing worked. Maybe some day it will work again but until then I'm uninstalling and disabling Google Pay everywhere else.
When it works it works well. However, the error messages are simply atrocious. I have consistently faced issues with identity verification, where an ambiguous "something went wrong error" will consistently occur. This is something that really should be improved, because how are users supposed to work out how to fix their issues when the error message provides no place to start.
I'm giving a one-star until I can get some help loading my card. It is showing up in my account but when I try to purchase something through Google Play on a game it does not show up and every time I try to add it one other apps for Google Play it says the information is wrong but it's not wrong everything is correct I have checked it a dozen times and until I can get it to work I'm not giving it no more stars. I have been trying for over a month now.
The functionality of this app is great but it took me far too long to find where the hell it keeps virtual tickets (pro-tip, it's the white bar at the top of the screen). Very unintuitive design. Right now, the targeted ads, sponsors, etc take center stage at the bottom of the screen, but I'm pretty sure most people only care about the cards and tickets.
I like this app enough but since it's been redone I've liked it less. Also, I've referred several people and still haven't received any rewards. I've been exploring referral programs, terms and conditions, my documentation and interactions with support and documenting it for an upcoming project. I haven't contacted them yet but it's on my list. Will update.
Worst app 😡 Several time transactions failed. Some times amount credited early, but most of the time it takes 3 to five days even more days. Even I don't know money comes to my account or not. Your Google pay is too.............Slow......... as compare to other aaps . Your app is still slower than other payment aaps , even can't check bank balance. I have updated the latest version and I have a good internet connection , but your app is still crashing and slower than other aaps. Please do something regarding in this matter. Forces you to turn on your GPS, unlike other services. Doesn't have the courtesy to turn it off after the transaction is done. Used to work without GPS prior to update. Now refuses to work too. Not to mention, can be really slow and laggy and repeats the payment process at times. So you may end up paying twice if you're not careful.
By far one of the most unreliable online payment option. Slow, tedious and unreliable. Whether it's server problems or the app crashing, it's not an app that you'd trust enough to go cash free. Go for PhonePe, it's much more reliable.
DOESN'T WORK!! The app doesn't work if you are traveling. I tried reinstalling and have stable internet connection. I have switched to Samsung Pay now. For countries where Samsung Pay doesn't work, I use credit cards directly or cash. Thank you Google for making me switch to better working solutions.
It's been a worst of the worst experience i had with this app. Yesterday I've done a transaction on the app. But money got stuck. It was an very urgent transfer to make. I did not understand why it happens to me on this app quite often. I have raised an ticket for the same. But it show that the transaction could be processed till 28th. That means after 2-3 days. I lost faith on this app. Frequently happens. That is the reason I am not using this app now. Worst experience ever. Boycott GPay
Updated review because after a year things have improved. The main page when you log in was rearranged, so the basic functions are right up top. Also, your default card is activated and can scan from this page without having to open the wallet. I would still prefer if the wallet view could be made the default page. The first iteration of the new app there were ads prominently displayed and intermixed on each page, but things have been reorganized to make the primary functions more prominent.
Two years down, still have the same issue. Hasn't been resolved. Tried umpteen times, different methods. Troublesome app, haven't been able to make a transfer either from bank account or card. I have tried all troubleshooting options, called customer care, and yet I can't make a transaction.
I had high hopes on Google but lost my confidence yesterday after payment was still in processing state. This caused me to pay via a different platform to the vendor. The gpay payment succeeded after a while causing double payment. This is the second incident in just 7 days. Phone pay is far better in performance. Never using gpay again.
My money got debited twice without a single warning while paying to a merchant and I couldn't get in touch with any of Google's customer service, it just doesn't let me to even describe my problem in a despute, just worst, Paytm is way better and more reliable, paytm doesn't let customer pay the exact same amount twice while there's a network issue or something, it just refuses or refunds immediately
Useless support. I've been out of service for 2 weeks already due to their internal problems for verification (all the documents were uploaded 2 weeks ago). And they are going to keep me without a service for one more week.
I had made the payment in gpay. Amount was debited from my account and not received in receiver's end. In gpay it was shown failed and in bank statement it was debited. When I contacted Google many times, they simply say contact Bank. Google is not ready to contact Bank and resolve my issue. End of the day, I didn't got my amount. So please remember that you are the full responsible for the amount, Google won't even it's issue from Google app.

Banking links fail too often and despite repeated tries payments could not be made easily unless and until the app is updated each time..!!😡😠 Even updating is not helping now..! Everytime you go for a payment, the internet connection vanishes and notification shows "internet connection required"..! Simply a sheer waste of time..! Worthless & hopeless indeed..!!!

Support team doesn't understand the concern and keeps on saying sign in from linked account without listening to the whole matter. This app should be permanently terminated. The Google Pay app makes it easy to pay for goods and services where contactless pay is accepted, and it works with a lot of banks and pay cards. It saved me a few times when I forgot my wallet at home or in the car, and from past experiences it can be useful in making online purchases.
Don't like the entire new gpay. I don't like using my bank card to verify. I have used gpay for at least 4 years by using only prepaid debit cards. My entire checking account was wiped out once and I don't want that to ever happen again. Google has all my info but still won't verify me without my bank debit card. No thanks.

Phone pay is way better than this . One of my relative pay me some amount by bank payment, money deduct for same but I didn't receive it for consicative 5 days. After that transaction failed. We need the new Google Pay to incorporate a Pass tab key at the bottom with the other menu tabs. The other work around is to go through add new card then enter details manually and all of your Passes will show up. We should not have to through all of these hoops just to get to your save Passes. How can I add a bill pay pass under the new Google Pay?
I had started using gpay from 2020 and everything was going very well. I was deeply in love with the app. Everything is easy but recently i started facing issues. My payment is getting processed slowly. I have wait for 5 to 10 minutes to get the payment done successfully. Please solve this issue.
Not a bad experience, I had only fewer times failed transactions. But the rewards are literally useless. Instead you can avail 3/4/10 rupees as reward. Even a layman too can use this app, that's appreciable. But he can never understand what coupons are rewarded. Seriously garbage rewards. Even 3rs rewards are welcome.
Overall works just like Apple Pay and Samsung pay. However I have an A32 5G,so my phone has both Samsung and Google Pay. Generally Samsung comes up when I checkout. You can switch it yes, but why? I don't need two apps that are identical. Their's no benefit to switching and adding my cards to another platform when the one I'm using isn't broken. This app works just fine, but I'd choose Samsung over it since I get a % back on purchased I make using ACH [pay with phone.] Google doesn't offer this
My past experience with this did not go good. However,there was impropriet hands-on experience leaving me with out knowledge just have answering questions about these apps instead of just letting me know what they want from me for the next 6 months I went through Term oil asking help from goggle services wasn't helpful for me there are many things I like to add but only in the right hands this time therefore I will not make any promises to make it happen again but it will take a while.

No quick response for the money struck for the transaction. It simply shows to wait for 3-4 working days irrespective of the urgency or need of the money of that transaction. Even that single star is also more enough to rate this application. It is a non completely programmed application. Playing with the money of the people.
Google Pay has been quite the convenient tool for quick tap & go payments. I've found it to be super easy to use unless of course I find myself without service/wifi which is a given. It's proven to be very secure and helpful in many ways when it comes to sending or receiving money from friends and family. Thanks Google!
It used to work great until it didn't. The app is no longer able to make any payments via UPI for me and some other people. My bank account works with other apps such as paytm, amazon etc. only google pay has this problem. Contacted support and they were unable to resolve the problem so far. If that changes I will update here, but I am not hopeful.
Google Gold is absolutely useless. My reasons: 1. Service charges are too high(They have different buying and selling rates). For investments buy Gold ETFs instead. 2. They advertised there is gold gifting option when I signed up for it but the option was removed without any intimation so I am just stuck with a pile of gold that I can't sell without making a big loss neither can I gift someone. 3. Google chat support techs just disconnects sometimes without providing any answers.
Really Disappointed with Indi-Home game wasn't responding when i was actually about to earn one big reward. Simultaneously, my referral moneh was also declined. Both poped-up with notification 'Oops something went wrong'. It's a clear glitch from the server. Hope to get a solution atleast in the Indi-home section.
Google pay is one of the worst experiences I've had with anything I've ever purchased. Google as well. You see what Google does is because they're so needed because they're so advanced or more advanced at the other browsers y'all just ignore customer service issues. For instance we call you you guys are so bold as to hang up on us and tell us to go get support on the computer. Your support online is even worse. I just got off with your support online and she's getting me a computer technician
It just won't work randomly. The whole point of it - and it just stops working. I went out with just my phone to the grocery store (where I used the same method before) and it doesn't read. The main tip is to uninstall and install again - as if the makers aren't familiar with technology and expects ppl to troubleshoot in line at the grocery store register with no WiFi. Nice. Wasted time, UNRELIABLE. Use as last resort and hope it'll work. UX/UI navigation got better though.
This is no longer usable for contactless payments. I double checked the settings and it is configured properly to work when the phone is unlocked. Still, most of the time I get a "phone moved too fast" message, and I have to use my fingerprint two or sometimes three times before it will go through. This is on a Samsung A71
I like the overall app design and simplicity of it. What I don't like is that it can take a long time to use, making it easier and faster to just use your debit/credit card physically. My biggest complaint is that I have to unlock my phone a total of three times when paying at the register. I have tried to play around with the options but I can't seem to fix this problem. If this issue is fixed, I will gladly rate 5 stars!
Earlier deleting or hiding recent recepients was possible. In recent updates though the app shows option for hiding recepients, it doesn't work. Unnecessary pile up of recepients in the app screen. There should be an option to stop failed or processing payment for more than 5 minutes. In some cases it shows payment processing or failed but within next couple of hours or within next 24 hours the amount is created to recepients account. It becomes a task to recover multiple paid amount.
it's very useful one. we have an main option to use this service anywhere anytime. if we carry the mobile we don't bother to ATM or anything. only one thing, network problem could be kills many times. otherwise it is such a wonderful option to use. not only for shops, we have to pay online, food and beverages, bill payments and recharge for mobile number and dish tv.
This app is extremely slow to open and use. It doesn't work well at OMNY MTA because on top of wasting several seconds opening the app, you still need to scan your phone twice on the OMNY reader. I have missed several trains and it's not helpful when you are late or in a hurry. During rush hour you need a fast app that works as a bolt, not this turtle-slow app.
Been using it for almost 5years without an issue. But recently made a payment which was struck, so had to give cash for the services taken. And now after two days, the money has been debited and credited to the receiver. GPAY customer service says they can't do anything and it's as per RBI policy. Now I had to call back the receiver and beg for the return of my money. Very much dependent on the app for payments. Didn't expect it will happen with Google.
Works but seems lacking in features. Apparently only one of my cards is able to be added to the service and it's my small credit union oddly enough. Doesn't seem to be able to hold any membership or insurance cards for easy access unless I just haven't figured that out. Also can't seem to find out how to add tickets to the app such as movie tickets unless I'm missing something.
Worst app, It's has been more than a year but still they didn't fixed the problem.... I can't transfer money or do any kind of transaction....it's just show "your money has not been debited and you are unable to make this payment at the moment" ....I urge to fixed this problem
Such a bad app. Even after the money was debited from my bank account the app says the transaction is still in process. The customer care people are of no help. They will say the fault is at your bank's end after you contact them. Your money just vanishes into thin air after a failed transaction. Thank God I don't use Google Pay for bigger transactions and I am not going to in the future.
The app crashed while I was using it!! And since then it just shows the 'oops something went wrong' screen. So I installed it again and now I can't even login. Facing this issue since almost a week. Gpay has been my go to payment app since I started using UPI, but if it doesn't even work, I'm forced to switch to other options. Very sad and disappointing.
I have used this app many times but facing problem since it's updated, many times the payment is failed and shows in processing but gets deducted from the bank account but the receiver doesn't get it on time it shows processing and so I had to pay the merchant/ recepient cash and then even after waiting for 3days it doesn't come back in the bank account but it gets credited in the recepients account & had to request the recepients to send the amount back. I don't feel secure using this app now.
Have been using flawlessly since 3yrs only to be dissatisfied recently. As soon as the app is opened, the network signal goes off, making the server not reachable. Dont understand how can the app impact signal in the phone. Have seen innumerable failure in last 2-3 months. Considering switching to other upi apps from very trusted gpay
New updates are trash. I don't mind the extra approval steps for adding cards to Google Pay, but after a thousand attempts of submitting the photosof my ID taken by the app, it still doesn't work. Apple Pay is super intuitive and hassle free when adding cards. Google is a million years away from being there. I'm considering returning my Galaxy S22 Ultra for an iPhone just for this reason. All the benefits and ease of using contactlessly pay, adding airline tickets, etc are gone!
This app is horrible for saving tickets for events and airlines. There is no view of the tickets from the home screen. The only way to access is to go to contactless payments. Since I don't have a credit card stored in the app, it immediately brings up my camera to scan in a credit card first. Why is it so many steps? Bad design and very cluttered home screen. I wouldn't have this app if there was another option for saving digital tickets to my phone.
Generally this app works like a charm for all sorts of payments. But since last week it has been causing alot of problems as it failed to launch on numerous occasions and hence I had to opt for alternate payment options. Reinstallation also don't seem to work.
I've been getting the hang of using this app for contactless pay but recently after updating my phone to Android 12, GPay constantly resets itself and forgets my cards. I've had to re-add it multiple times today and after a while, it'll reset again acting like it's the first time setting up. Unsure if the new OS is causing this but frankly, I don't see any other logical explanation other than Android 12 screwing up.
Gpay showed me notification with message "reduce waiting time at banks". I wanted to read complete message so I clicked on the notification. But Google automatically sent upi registration for all other accounts belonging to me without asking any confirmation. This happened to many of my friends as well. This is so bad. I didn't expect such a insane behaviour from Google. I'm going to uninstall gpay. It's not trustable anymore
I had an issue with the payment through the app. The money was debited from my account but did not reach the receiver's bank account. The estimated time for the settlement is 3 days but in other payment apps, we get response within hours. Due to this I'll have to wait for 3 days for my money.
This used to work really well. But since 2-3 months, facing transaction delays and failure. It just says processing and have to wait 5-6 hours to get a result which is mostly failure. Kind of beats the purpose of instant pay. I've stopped using g pay completely now and switched to other payment apps like phonepe of Amazon, which always work. Need to up you game here Google, it's kind of embarrassing.
Fraudulent app. Earlier this app used to give a good cash back on each transactions. This app was well known for the cash backs. And, installed it purposely for that but later it started giving 5 to 10 rupees cash backs. Google Pay is a big cheapass. Sometimes it doesn't even gives the scratch card. They shouldn't do fake promos & ads if they can't make it true. Better, use PhonePe or any other apps for transactions
It's a fabulous app. I have been using is for nearly 4 year and now I have added my credit cards and while making a payment it does not give me a option of paying by cards, I tried to add an account it says too many numbers linked to this account that's all to annoying. Need to solve these issues
Disgusting app. The executives are not able to resolve my issue of adding an additional account even after a month. They are not here to help or to resolve the issue. No feedback system. Half of the times the transaction doesnt happen and you have to run for your money. I suggest other platforms will be better rather than using gpay. I started using phone pay and paytm instead of g pay for all the transactions and i believe they are the best in the business now.
Payment feature is delightful, but stupidly obtuse interface for accessing your membership or other cards. (Use the "pay" button to access your COVID vax, museum memberships, etc.) Took my techie husband and me ten minutes to figure it out. Not good - pretty sure it can't be that non intuitive on Apple Pay, amirite?
Every second counts when standing at the register. It takes too long to swipe credit cards left/right instead of the old up/down list to choose a card to pay with. There are other slowdowns at the terminal when trying to contactless pay. Easier just to use a regular credit card instead of the phone.
Not used friendly at all. Also, if you accidentally pull money into your Google pay account from your bank, you can't cancel, even if you attempt to cancel the transaction immediately. So you have no choice but to wait several days for it to come into Google pay and then transfer it back to your bank. Ridiculous. Oh, and apparently there's no phone number for customer support. Or it's hard to find. Either way, shame on Google as usual. Terribly designed app and terrible user experience.
Relentless data mining and profiling is what infuriates me about google. Nice clean interface, easy to use app but there's no need for it to access my location in order to make a payment and don't tell me that it is to increase security. There are hundreds of other apps which does the same thing with same amount of security (if not more securely) without a location access. This is frankly an expected hideous practice from Google!
Horrible experience. Not expected from Google. Last week I made a transaction, money was debited from bank account but in Google Pay app it was showing transaction failed and money was not refund. It's understandable that system may breaks at some time, but it has been 7 days I have not been yet refund the money. Didnot expect it from Google that they don't have failure transaction checking system and resolving the issue urgently. It hurts customer satisfaction rate. Switched from Google Pay.
Nowadays a lot of transactions get the tag of 'processing'. The money is deducted but the payment is not completed. The shopkeeper asks to repay. Then after a few days the payment with the 'processing' tag also seems to be 'paid'. If you make a second payment in cash, the shopkeeper forgets that you have made a double payment and refuses to refund a transaction, thus having to pay double for a purchase.
I have had the same issue as many are for months. I have used this for a long time. Then all the sudden my debit card says it's inactivated and it keeps asking to reconnect which I do over and over and it says card cannot be added. It's it my bank they said its this app. I have deleted cards and readded but still won't work. Then today I see my bank acct is now inactive and same story, it won't let me add it. I have a chain of emails a mile long and get the same lame responses.
only installed for days, and wrong payment deducted even though transactions were indicated as failed (shuttlebus fares) on the spot, by the driver. how many people actually check transaction history? some are not even updated in real time! but at least 1 day later.....now its so troublesome to get back just a small amount. and once added, you CANNOT remove your card in the app, which is a huge security issue. DO NOT INSTALL! DO NOT INSTALL! DO NOT INSTALL! you have been warned.
I am terribly disappointed with this new Google Pay, or is it GPay? No one seems to know. The old app was perfectly functional and had a good user experience. This new thing, with the meaningless icon, is a complete mess. I can see that it can do many different things, but figuring out how to do them is something else altogether. Yes, I think I can still pay with it at a store, but everything else is a mystery. My California Covid-19 card is embedded in there somewhere but I have no idea where. This is a very poorly designed and executed piece of software and I feel it needs a complete rethink and rewrite. I'd like to go back to the old one, but I suspect that would introduce undesirable side effects, so this app sits on my phone, mostly unused. Perhaps you should get the people who wrote the old one to rewrite this one. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT!
UPD: Thanks for explaining. I see the "wave" above Insights now, suggesting I can swipe up. But I find that not very clear and if there are too many options to click, expand and swipe, it just gets too confusing. OLD: I just want to see an overview of all my transactions, which I can't find anywhere. Unclear UI with wrong priorities.
App is average to subpar. Paying, ok great. Sharing code, great. But all the other features are pretty subpar. First off, it's crazy convoluted to get to a transit card for example. Another thing is they're on the right track with spending insights, but bring in budgeting and income vs expenses, and other useful money management features. I would bet that's your easiest way to draw people into your app the quickest.
I have a pixel 6, their supposedly flagship phone. I would love this app, I try to use it all the time. I think contactless payments are great. For some reason though, it ALWAYS makes me tap twice to pay. The first time it fails, and asks me to unlock my phone. Even though my phone is already unlocked, and I have the setting unchecked where an unlocked phone is required to pay. This is super inconvenient because some terminals, register my transaction as declined and have to start over.
Locked to a single device. What's the point of being in the Android ecosystem if I can't use the app on my phone and tablet? The web interface is being pulled down as well which makes it even less convenient. Edit: Contacting support did not help. I got reassurance that the app only works on device with the SIM slot. Edit: Still locked to a single device. I have two phones and it constantly makes me log in as I switch between devices.
the greatest problem with this app was forcing everyone to manually switch over from the old one. I lost a lot of contacts who just fell back to other apps instead of making the jump. and with Google's track record of forcing a reset of its app user base every few years, there's no way I'm going to waste my time convincing everyone to download it again.
I love contactless pay. Safe, secure, germ-free. It works great in stores where it is accepted. Please add a separate tab for passes and tickets. Who would think to look under contactless payments or businesses to find your boarding pass? It needs to be a front page icon for frequent users. Layout is not particularly user-friendly. Imax layout is a design no-no, especially for small screens like phones.
Update : The issue had been resolved! Google pay does store boarding passes. You have to go through the airlines app and save to google pay. Which then opens up a browser and you add it there. Then you will see it in the app. It doesn't allow you to add boarding passes. Probably my most appreciated features of Apple Wallet. I didn't know what I had till I left iPhone. At least I can unlock my phone without taking my mask off though.
I'm constantly having issues with this app and have used it for over a year-and-a-half. Since the new update a few months ago, transactions are unable to be canceled. Money sits in limbo while they try to figure out that errors in their system that happen regularly. I highly recommend getting zelle or another payment system this is useless to send and receive money.
I don't know what's happened to this app but it is absolutely useless at this point. I have tried for 2 days to make a payment with the same card that's been on my app for years. It says I have to finish setup, so I do by entering the numbers it wants and then nothing. Not even an error message. I've uninstalled the app twice, gone online on my computer and verified information is correct and nothing has changed or corrected itself. This is so frustrating.
Stay away! no service! They have a new function which allow to pay for parking through the app. I tried to do that and got a "payment error - try again using different payment method" so I did, and again... total 3 times till I decided to pay the meter using coins. When I got home I see that I was charged 3 times!!! (meaning they charged me 3 times for the same car in the same zone for the same time!!! -wouldn't happen in any normal app). When I contact CS (even sent them the error screenshot) I was told I should contact my city parking department for a refund - SHAME!
Update: message to developer who replied to my first review: yes, I know how to input a gift card into the app. The problem is that the app is buggy and does not save the info (and displays the "oops..." Message). This is not operator error, this is buggy app issue. Fix your app!! I use Google everything! But it looks like I won't be using Google pay. Edit: I have a pixel phone. So of all devices, a pixel should be the least likely to have incompatibility issues with a Google app.
