I've had it for 3 years.To use the card I have direct deposit setup and I Don't get paid early like they claim.Infact they are very slow to show deposit in account sometimes 3 days after payroll sent it. Only positive thing I can say is that it will link with cash app. As far as being accepted as a checking account the card is Not accepted at ALL with Plaid!Does not work in any cash advance app. Ha! (No Overdraft fee?They claim! )Because U CAN'T! Over draft the card. $0 in $0 out.

I have been using this card / app for over 3 years now, and i really like it so far very convenient. If there is ever a issue you can speak with someone right away to get to problem resolved. I abasoluty love the vault best feature ever.

I can't log in the app and when I go online to log on using a computer it allows me but will not allow me to move my money around. Thats only after I notified them a fraudulent charge that they also agreed was because it was a payment reversal or something and was supposed to get reimbursed but never was. This app and the people behind it is useless my advice get a real bank account.

Worst debt card, always has issues with the stashing and un stashing. Now I can't access my money till their issues is resolved. Don't think my landlord will buy the fact that I can't access my own money!! Thanks a lot

I have used this card for years. No problem. Until now. Been on hold for over 50 minutes after the lady hanging up on me. The guy I'm talking to now is completely ignoring me. I will not be using this app again.

It is a totally a gift card wrapped up as a bank debit card. Just like a prepaid gift card you can only reload at a register clerk equipped to do so . An ARM reload will not work. Except for tax returns and purchases , a gift card doesn't charge a monthly fee.

I get my paycheck two days before anyone else does. Also, mobile check cashing is a breeze after the first one clears. I've deposited checks from multiple different lawyers and never had an issue. I love this app and card!

I love this card!! I filed my taxs with turbo 4 years ago for the first time..and i got the card then...and its my everyday main card since then...i love it!! Great way to track money..and the vault feature is amazing!!! Love it!!

This bank changes withdrawl limits with no notice. When you ask about it, their support pastes the "current" policy then states completely different limits than they just posted. We will slowly empty the account ($500/day, $3000/month) until it is empty and will then close it. It is not okay to deny your customers access to their money

Do not bank with them, I been with them 3 years and they been taking money from you and when you address it they have no knowledge of it or when someone issue you a refund they said they gave it to you the same day. But disconnect the chat after they say that too you even the so called supervisor's do the same thing. I'm going to find a better bank I advise you to do the same. Also they charge a fee every time you use atm.

Garbage app. Wanted to deposit a check for the first time on this app and it's telling me there's insufficient history? I've been in this app for over a year now. What do you mean? Now I don't get to eat dinner tonight because you could let me cashy $11 check. Awful app.

If I could rate zero stars I would. My account was closed for no reason at all. Now I have money on my account with no way to access it because each time I call they give me a different email to send a copy of my Id to. On top of the fact that they consistently taking out monthly fees. The customer service reps are horrible when it comes to this. I would not recommend this card to anyone and I’m definitely gonna tell my friends and family about this horrible experience and terrible service.

I've had my turbo tax card since 2019 Thursday someone got into my account changed all the information and I reported it and I'm the person that was stolen from and this company simply refuses to do anything about it they're sending this new person a replacement card yes it's a prepaid card yes there was very little funds on it but you're letting someone else use my name and my identity and I'm the one that's in the wrong because I can't log into your site because everything's been changed

I absolutely love the Turbo Card. I have been using it since I received my income tax check on it last year. I love the app, and how you can keep ur money stashed until you're ready to actually make a purchase. I get my checks deposited on it as well, and I always get my money at least a day early.

DONT DO IT!!!!! Find a better better app and stay away from this app!!!! I loved this company and app up until today i tried transferring money from my vault so i can put gas into my car as im a doordasher. it Kept popping up as an error so i contacted support and they told me it was getting fixed so needless to say i was stuck at the gas station with no gas i tried again two hours later and i got another error saying i hit my daily transfer limit. You cant trust this app!!!! Its unreliable!!!!

One thing I do not play about is my money. This app will stop working giving you no access to your funds. It will malfunction to where you can't withdraw or deposit into your account. And the worst part is there is not one way to speak with a person if you have issues. They literally have no way to speak to a customer service representative. I highly recommend you do not use the app or card. I mean if you like being able to use your money, of course.

Mobile banking is the only way I can use the bank. Only things I think could be improved on is the speed in which you received a new card when one is cancelled. Took a month to get mine so my money was stuck. Other then that it is helps me immensely. Being able to stash us a life saver.

I don't understand what's going on with the daily balance emails I'm receiving. Receiving balance emails that are completely different from what I have in account. Two emails a day with completely different balances.. Was very happy with the app until recently. I'm definitely going to close account and uninstall..

Wish I could give zero stars! This company "locked" my debit card over a year ago with no explanation! I have spent the last 12 months emailing, calling and writing to demand a refund. I have provided all kinds of "required documentation" and have been told more than 20 times that my refund check had already been mailed to the address on my account. My address is the same, no refund received, they're LYING! The funds in this account are my IL dept of Employment Sec funds and this company stole!

They have the Worst customer service(not the corporate office, but they have nothing to do with the app or a turbo tax card) It took them 4 times over a period of 5 days just to get my email changed (and entered correctly in their system, so I could reset my password.)They take over two weeks if you cancel a transaction to get your money back, it took over 10 days for them to approve the money for my credit card. I suggest going to a bank! They are all of some Chinese origin. Don't use them!!

Great app. It runs smoothly, it gives me the info I need quickly. It's nothing fancy, but then again I'm not sure an app that handles my finances should be trying anything new... let's keeps this simple (and Turbo does).

Excellent card and service! Not sure what everyone else's problem is. But I've been using the same card for years now. Always loading money on it. And I get my direct deposit onto it. Also i have never had a charge for having low balance or anything. I would recommend. Thanks!

I love this app. I use this card/account as my main account for paying bills, buying things online, etc. It makes it easy to log in & see all your purchases & deposits..& I usually get direct deposits earlier than expected.

I've always loved this card and this app. But recently I've been hit with some charges to my debit card and I want to cancel/dispute them and I can't get through to an actual human to talk to. So I'm getting a different card through a different company. I'd give them 0 stars if possible. I'm so pissed 😡 right now.

"Remember me" never works. ATMs for this card ONLY at Walgreens, CVS, Costco & Safeway. Half the listed reload loactions are not reload locations at all. Never sends me any alerts, despite my alert settings. As of 08/11/2021 the app will no longer allow login, continues to give error message & text commands are not working either. This problem occurs about once a year at random. No way to order new card to replace old/broken card unless reporting lost or stolen, more inconveniences.

Dave yourself money and time by not getting a Turbo Tax prepaid card!! Worst customer service I've ever experienced! My account got hacked and rather than giving me a provisional credit that they should have given me after 10 days, they jerked me around for 50 days. I still haven't gotten my money back. I've been on the phone with 20 of their customer service reps and none of them have helped me. Terrible card, terrible app. I'D AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS!!

Super great App. Its very helpful to manage your money. You can set it up where the App will send you notifications every time your card is used, you can put a money limit so it sends you notifications when you're low on money, when money is deposited it will send you a notification that you received it and there is even more convenient notification settings. This App is great!

Horrible horrible card! If balance is below $800 you will be charged $4.95 a month. The account is supposed to close once your balance is at $0, but one month later i get charged the monthly fee again, now my balance is $-4.95. Not to mention, to transfer money from the card to another bank will cost you $2.50 each transfer no more than $1000 a day.

Used to use this app all the time. Now it says I need a security code and it never sends me the code. So now I can't see any of my transactions. It's BS and VERY frustrating. Update: I deleted the app and then re downloaded it and then the code sent and everything is fine now

Yikes. I'm trying to sign into my mobile app, its telling me that it needs to send a security code. Ok. No problem. Tried it multiple times, no code. Not even in the junk folder. Never had an issue before. I get on with customer service. They tell me to change or set up a new email address and then "just see if it works." Well, it didn't. Thanks for taking up so much time out of my day, to not even be helpful.

This card will decline purchases periodically and claim it was a fraud alert.Then you will get a text asking if it was you after you have already been declined. Then when you text back that it was you they keep the amount that was declined and your stuck either not getting what you paid for or paying for it twice.WATCH OUT FOR THIS!

Not impressed at all been using it for almost 3 years and they still don't let my husband and I both have a card. Only 1 for him for some reason. So I run into problems DAILY! I stay with the card because of my bill pay is all set up that way right now. But, I'm changing it ASAP, BECAUSE I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS CARD! Not to mention none of my stimulus gets deposited on this card, mailed checks every time! No reason for that!! We got 4 kids, shouldn't have had to wait that long, ridiculous!

Overall, it pretty reliable and certainly convenient for checking my balance. One problem I have though, is the app frequently has a delay in showing deposits, changes in balances moved to/from the vault, and occasionally shows duplicates of a charge as "pending". Sometimes for days. These minor irritants don't affect the actual amount of money in the account however, and so it's not a big deal.

This has been wonderful! Working with my account through this app is SO helpful for me. I am sadly a manic shopper and used to go out of control. Now, with this, I can keep track of my spending and even pay my bills! This app mixed with the Mint app is helping me build my credit score and get out of debt! I can't complain!

I am very UNHAPPY with turbo card and anything affilated with turbotax! I have used turbo for the past 6yrs and have had nothing but problems! This past year, the turbo card I had, randomly got shut off, for absolutely no reason given to me! It was way before the expiration date! And bcuz I had gotten the 1st stimulus check on that card, thats where all my others were to be sent! I had alot of issues trying to get the other checks because of this! I will NO LONGER be using turbotax!!

They hold your money hostage with a 3k a month limit on withdraws from 🏧 and tellers along 2 week turnaround on sending yourself a paper check. This helps ensure their account doesn't deplete and the gains keep coming. Had I known this prior to being sold this service by Turbotax, I would have just waited on the IRS and their two week paper checks. Will be waiting on my taxes again since I withdrew too much of my own money this month. Thank God its not a dire emergency. #yeaimpissed

Calls are horrendous the chat is the only redeming factor. I have been on hold for over an hourand a half because the agent did not hear me and did not give me a minute to find a place with better reception. I was on hold and was able to get my problem fixed in less then 10 min with the chat. I will no longer be a turbo tax banker. The call service is horrible. I would give one star but chat gave you that extra star for their service. I have never been one to karen a problem but horrible service

***immediately transfer all funds into a bank account or onto a seperate Greendot supported card.*** Greendot customer service does not support these cards and the turbo card support is basically non-existent. If you can manage to talk to a person they will not help you at all. If you have issues with these cards, you're basically [email protected]*#$#

The app itself works well, it's the people behind the app and company that I just cannot deal with anymore. Never again will we get there turbo card with our tax refund. I've tried multiple times to figure out why our card won't work at ATMs but we'll work on other transactions, customer service is AWFUL and have yet to help me. I hope CS sees this and maybe tries again to help with this issue. There was once a rooster crowing in the background of the CS call, not sure what that was about.

I dont have access to my old phone # or gmail thats connected with my turbo card so i cant get into this app..I call customer service and tell them i no longer have access to either,they tell me the only way to change either is to go into the app and change them.How if i cant even get the code to get into the app...such a bad app.

Useless customer service and app. I had my debit card registered on my account and everything was fine. For reasons unknown, they mailed me a new card even though I already had a perfectly good one. My old card is still reflecting on my app. I have talked to customer service twice and no one can tell me how to get the old card off of the app and put my new card on so I can track my balance and purchases. The last csr I had didn't even speak English. Will never use TurboTax again.

This card is the terminator. Ive tried cancelling, too put a hold on it and even calling, but the government decided that this is where they will send my stimulus check. This card literally stole money from my account to pay for 2 months of service I didn't want. Have never ever used the card for any transactions other than getting my money out. 4 transactions. Govt post $600, I pulled it out. That's $4.95. And then yesterday, govt post $1400, I pulled it out using a free app. Bye $4.95

I received the card from Turbo Tax a few years ago from them to get my tax return instead of waiting for a check. Then i found out i could get direct deposit from my work with it. I've used it ever since. I have never paid a monthly fee for any reason! The only fees I've paid are for when i use an atm out of my network. But i have to say im very pleased with this card and account with Green Dot. I do recommend it to people as much as i can and always sing its prase. Thank you

App is limited but fine. The account has high monthly charges. It's a pain to transfer the money out. It gave me an option to rate 5 stars instead of just rate. I only have the card because it seemed like a better way to get my tax return;boy was I wrong.

Have two turbo cards!!! Cause they make you get a new one... The down fall is you cannot switch between accounts within the app. Nor the web site...super frustrating to have to call all the time to check balance... Please fix... Other than that I love the app... Thank you!!

THIS APP IS USELESS!!! I can't even access the app after opening let alone use it's features. I've tried EVERYTHING from uninstalling it and re-installing it and contacted 4 different specialists on the website for the card and absolutely nothing has changed. For an app primarily used for managing finances, you'd think they could manage to figure out why you can't even login..Like I said... USELESS!!!

I have had this fir for a while now. They are awesome. I connected my cash app card to it, and my jobs direct deposit. I use turbotax with PayPal when i order. I use my cashapp to have a spending limit that ill eventually start to follow. Love this card cant wait to get my taxes, soon i hope. Im really talking about just the card. For some reason even though its at 100% i cant get the app on my phone

I've been with intuit turbo card for 5 years now & I couldn't be happier. My taxes and my direct deposits are there 2 days earlier. Customer Service is very helpful & friendly. The first card i got was sent and then sent back lost it and ordered another one that was suppose to be mailed out Feb.9 but all i get from the automated thing is that it hasn' t been 7 days and it has been 3 weeks, i am done with this app and everything that goes along with it, i would not recommend Turbotax to anyone, i will have my taxes done elsewhere from now on.

I'm beyond done with this app. Customer service is nothing but prompt spammers, any kind of assistance requires a 2 to 3 day wait period. Can't legitimately maintain the application that they promote. In short this service is a joke and not a good one like Haha more like "you will need to wait 2 to 3 business days to receive and email saying we can't help you" what kind of a comoany do you run and or think is acceptable. Clearly you need a complete restructure and rebuild of the app and company.

This app NO longer works. When it did work it was just fine. NOW It will not let me log in - AT ALL. I've tried off & on for 2 months now. I can log in online just fine but the app rejects any attempt at logging in. So it is UNINSTALLED PERMANENTLY. Why install something that doesn't work!? UPDATE: a monthly dep. came today so I installed app again, changed pw & it's working fine now! I really like the slide for bal feature. IM A BIT DUBIOUS ABOUT THE APP NOW BUT I'LL KEEP IT &KEEP YOU POSTED.

Love this card. The app makes it so easy to stash money away, check balance, cancel a card and change the PIN. Also, setting up direct deposit with work is super easy, and the ability to deposit a paper check with your phone is also super easy. There are never any suprise fees. I would recommend this card to everyone. I have never been dissapointed.

Had my card info stolen in December and had a new card issued when I disputed the 600$ purchase the person made. Got the money back originally but now almost 2 months later they removed the 600$ out of my account and had the audacity to tell me I was the one who made the purchase after they did "extensive" investigations. So frustrating to use. Very complicated and not user-friendly. Transferring money is a nightmare. If you want to send money to a friend, they have to have a personalized prepaid card to receive it. A transaction was cancelled due to not being able to receive the money, but still says it's gone. To pay a bill or a person, you have to type in their name, phone number, or email address. I don't feel confident in the safety of my money or my information. I feel like there are no positives here.

Suspended account, no notification. Nobody ever answers customer service phone. Was expecting deposit, but it's in never-never land, wherever that is or in who-evers pocket. Either way money not available to me. Hacked so personal info wasn't protected, therefore money just vanished. NO notification, NO RECOURSE!

Customer service is almost non-existent. I was on hold for an hour before someone finally answered. They kept putting me on hold. 30 mins. later and he hung up with me after saying itll be fixed in a couple of hours. Sad part is I still have no clue what's wrong with it and 2 days later I still cant get into my account. I gave one star only because the the rep I talked to was very nice at least.

Would give 0 stars if it was possible. Customer service is almost non existent. They closed my account without warning and each time that I managed to get ahold of Customer service, they were useless. I have been given 3 different reasons as to why my account was closed by 3 different customer service reps. They are rude and will hang up on you. No stars, would not recommend.

Horrible horrible horrible. Can never get a hold of a person. If you have an issue, you are sent in circles. I had to order a new card because I never got the first one. Then when I lost my card and had to order a new, same story. They said I would have it in 2 days it has been 7. The app is atrocious as well. Always loading. Cant make transfers. Even worse now. Account is closed and got a text saying that they will re open it and then when calling they say wrong number and hang up

ZERO STARS!! STILL CAN'T ACTIVATE CARD OR ACCESS MY MONEY!! This is BEYOND ridiculous. I'm deeply disappointed, angry, confused & frustrated. What is the problem? Because I KNOW the problem is NOT on my end. I have a family to take care of & I can't do that if I can't purchase groceries, necessities, bus fare for work or pay my bills, which again, I haven't been able to do in SEVEN DAYS. Fix this or I will take my money & business elsewhere. I'm sure you have records of my chats, calls & emails.

Logged onto my turbocard after 10 months of not using the app and realize someone had taken 1200 dollars and transferred it to someone else! Spent 5 hours trying to get a real person on the phone to report the fraudulent activity then get td it would take up to 10 days to get reimbursed for the charges! This is ridiculous and I hope to hear back from them soon! Nl

The customer service end of this app is horrible. I disconnected 3 times, found the call quality muffled and filled with static, then was hung up on because I could not understand the operator. When I finally reached a person I could mostly hear and understand, she did not know what to do. She said try to contact CashApp (nothing to do with my transaction.) I requested a supervisor, im still waiting on hold because she can't find a supervisor. Its been 45 minutes.

This helps me maintain and keep balance in track of my funds all times. I'm also able to get text alerts and notifications through the app whenever a purchase has been placed through my card. These little features mean so much with so many people out there trying to be fraudulent nowadays. Would recommend to 11 out of 10 dentists!

This app is garbage, plain and simple. I Just reset everything and it said I was good to go. I tried logging in 3 times and each time WRONG. I should've known it was not going to work. Anything California does never ends with good results!!

There is nothing wrong with the card itself. You can use it pretty much anywhere, the fees are reasonable, and you can conveniently load it with money. But the customer service is terrible. I have had terrible experiences everytime I have had to call them, and never once left feeling like I got a satisfactory resolution to my issue, more often than not getting some excuse as to why they can't help me and suggesting I call back for a different agent.

Deposit check not working! It keep on prompting don't have enough transaction and wait for 30 days when our account is already way past that period. Virtually zero customer support as well. This is good when it works but deposit check is really frustrating and no help.

Horrible service! I reported my card lost and had to be issued a new one. I've waited almost 3 weeks for the new card. The app has said for the last 2 weeks it's at the local post office. I contacted customer service and they simply told me "to be more patient!". I have bills. They're not going to be patient if I'm not able to pay them. Then I was charged a $4.95 fee and havent received my card. Please get a bank account instead of using these crooks.

This app never would accept my log in information, even after contact with turbo card themselves. They told me to uninstall and reinstall and guess what still had zero access to my account thru this app.

It was a great app until yesterday I cannot access my account nor take any money off of my card. I was getting my employment checks deposited into this account. Reading these reviews I see I'm not the only one well apparently Turbotax Debit card was shut down 6/30/2020 and failed to notify its consumers. I consistently got the run around from machines etc so I reported this company to the federal consumers company. They can't just take our money like this no explanation or anything.

I enjoy the app and the electronic money management but I would like to see a 2 way authorization from phone with app installed and verified phone number (not email) when card is used remotely not at scanner or chip reader. . . Please and thank you.

Honestly I love the concept and how easy it is to load money on it and can usually use it right away (sometimes) but....I THINK CHARGING EVERY TIME I LOAD MONEY ON IT ($4.95) AND ALSO GET A MONTHLY CHARGE OF ($4.95) is completely ridiculous!!!! There are times when I may add money several times in 1 month and every time im charged a fee!! Not everyone has the money to just hand it over for no damn reason, really! A monthly fee would be understandable but not both.

Can't even get the app to download without a friggin dozen error messages. I just want to report my card "lost or stolen" and get a new one before the next round of stimulus checks. The website glitches out and crashes on the last step every time. Their phone reps are no help. I was hoping the app would help but boy was I wrong...

I've been using this app for 5 yrs. I love the stash option because it allows me to only spend a certain amount while the rest of the money is put up so no one else can touch it. One con is it charges you $75 just to rent any car on top of the fees you're already paying to the rental company. You DON'T get the $75 back either. Also you pay $2.50 for out of network atm on top of the $2.50 or more you already pay for the actual atm fee.

Super easy app. Always an atm or store close and I live in the middle of nowhere. Definitely beats the hassle of bank fees and considering i move around a lot for work, it help to have something that can be this flexible.

I hate this app so much. I solely got it because I needed somewhere to receive my tax returns. I received them all fine and dandy. I try to go and transfer the money to my bank acct and they lie and say you can, when you can't. They'll let you transfer money only if it is to another TurboTax card! This card is useless. You literally can't do anything with it, but pay bills or send money to someone who has the same card as you! As soon as I get the $ out, I'm closing my acct! Good riddance!

Never again will I be using turbo for anything. Advertise free then tricks you into paying one way or another. Lied to everyone about where their refund was actually going. Turns out if you use your refund to pay for your tax preparation that your refund gets deposited into a completely different account so they can take there cut before they deposit it to your account. This caused major problems when people were expecting there stimulus checks to be deposited into the routing info IRS had. Junk

App will not allow mobile check deposit. Error message says "continue to use the card and try again in 30 days" ....I've been using the card for 3 months. This is extremely frustrating. I have no use for this card or app if I cannot even deposit a check. And God forbid you try to get assistance from a live person. Everything says "email us"...but there is NO EMAIL LISTED. Terrible service.

Without a doubt, greendot bank and turbo card are the WORST bank and accounting team out there. I will never use this bank again. Ever. The customer service is horrible. No one knows what they're doing. And the employees of customer service have no idea what they're doing. Also, app not functioning when you're checking for a tax return or stimulus check? The one function this app is made for, it does poorly. Steer clear.

I never wanted to use this crappy app in the first place but Intuit forced this stupid card on me because, unfortunately, I made the mistake of using turbo tax. You can't transfer or send funds (except to other turbo tax dupes), you can't add it to digital wallets like Google or apple pay, and customer service is adversarial. Basically, it's means for Intuit to exert undue economic influence over it's customers and entrench itself as a superfluous duty broker. Lesson learned.

This app is seriously lacking! My 4 year old could do better. It is very bare, with few options, and the options you do have, don't work! If I send money to someone, they should be able to add it to a card (turbo or Green Dot ONLY) or use PayPal. But when I send money, the PayPal option is never there. They try to force you into purchasing a pre-paid card for their company. Scam, scam, scam. Beware! I'm pulling my money and cutting the card up! Cancelled!

You will be just a number for them. For the last 4 years I've filed my taxes with Turbotax very easily, the problem was when I LOST my debit card during the CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC. Absolute garbage. As everyone else is saying just "can't log in" or whatever generic bs error they give to leave you in the dark for almost a week now. Then when you call the number they want your full card number.. okay that's normal. But then next request "for security" is your full 9 digit ssn. Now idk if that absolutely screams security breach to anyone else. But I do know it would be quite nice to be able to check my balance securely as well as view transactions seeing as how I'm pretty sure I either got over charged at the store earlier or someone has my card information but since the notification randomly disappeared (the only app with disappearing notifications on my phone) and I can't access anything in a way I would consider even slightly secure. TLDR: Other companies offer everything intuit does with regards to run of the mill tax returns. Go there instead. Unless, of course, you like rolling the dice at the register as to the exact amount in your account. Side note: This didn't just start with the stimulus checks. From everyone I've talked to since tax season 2-3 years ago, this is a standard issue. As well as one I've had off and on since I got the card earlier this year. Come on guys, at least give people useful errors. And Google, please just give us the ability to skip lines when typing. It would be nice if this didn't all get bunched together (Because someone at Google will read this and fix it right?)

Had it for the first 2 weeks after I finally filed my taxes and it did great. My money finally come on my card just 2 days ago and now I'm having trouble with it. Every time I try to log in it says "sorry something went. Try again later." I even uninstalled it and re-installed it and its still doing the same thing. Definitely needs some bug fixes and updates

I'm giving 3 stars bc its usually a good app. I've been using it since the 2018 tax year and have never had problems. I've been seeing issues lately, and after reading other reviews I wanted to share some thoughts. What people need to understand is due to the stimulus checks being deposited, there are a TON of ppl using the app at the same time causing crashes and server issues (on their website as well) So while it sucks, it is what it is. Usually it's a good app and I'm sure will be again

This is the first time I've ever commented on amy app. I usually just uninstall and move on. This app and card are trash. I applied for the tax advance and got denied for whatever reason, then didnt get the chance to switch my bank account. I got stuck with this stupid card and have to use this stupid app that doesnt work. Then for whatever reason, my stimulus check couldn't be deposited to the damn thing so I had to change my bank account with the irs and have to wait even longer for my money.

I lost card and need replacement but it appears that I have 2 cards. I would like to be issued a new card but am having problems with doing so. If i get 2 cards sent to me i dont care as long as i have one im good even if you merged both cards into the new one im ok with that. I just dont know why it is so hard to get a replacement card when i call i always get hung up on and the app is not downloading for me. I will be happy to give a better rating if i can get my card reissued.

Horrible. I downloaded the app and clicked to register/get started and right away it tells me there's an error try again later. This company does not have the money and resources to build a working tested app before it rolls the thing out ? Can't use app AT ALL. Really pissed off about it because I've been using this app as a person bank account aside from my normal BOA account. I was in the middle of buying a car for my family and for the first time this app failed me. I can't log in or anything. Tried calling. No response. I have alot of money on this card and app and it's really frustrating cuz i cant see my account to track what i spend and have left. Seems as if this is a dead end app now.

Not able to log into app to see balance. I have no idea if my check was deposited into this account. Also - They charged me $4.99 just because I had an account. I didn't even have money on this card, I withdrew it all right away... So it's showing a negative balance now... Very Unhappy! Don't even get me started with transferring money to someone, it's not possible unless they have a personalized greendot card (Not one you buy from store).

Complete and total Bull$h¡T. Unable to activate card. I am being told that my information doesn't match what they have in file. I believe after 40 years I know my social security number. There is no way to speak with a live person when calling the provided customer service number. This is most obviously a scam of some sort and TurboTax should use more caution when offering fraudulent products to it's consumers. I plan to leave bad reviews on each of my social media pages to spread the word.

It wont load the log in screen. Ive tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and still wont load the log in screen. A box pops up saying there was a error. Not to happy with that when ive been using the turbo card and app for awhile now. This is bull. Every since yall updated the app it has been messing up. Something needs to be done.

The app has been down all day and I even updated it and uninstalled and reinstalled. The phone number won't even go to the automatic recording it just says there is a high volume of calls try back later and hangs up. Once I no longer need this card I am deactivating it and I will never use it again!! Terrible!!

Terrible app. Refuses to connect when trying to login to check balance. Upon loading app, get 3 connecting dots, and the prompted with "Sorry, there was an error. Please try again." Been trying to connect off and on for over 12hrs, same thing everytime. Uninstalled & reinstalled app, restarted phone, cleared cache, all failed to produce results.

Worthless app! Click on the help option and there's only pre picked options to chose from. No way to actually talk to someone. And then it all of a sudden quit letting me even sign in. Your best bet is to take all of your money off and put it into your real account. Absolutely worthless!

The app just does not work at all for me. Same info online, after hours of trying, but it simply won't work and TurboTax can't help you when you call. The greendot number won't even go through, when you ask for help. You get axed out of the que because it won't let you wait, it just kicks you out when you get through and says to call latter. Never using turbo tax again, after this. Too much confusion throughout every step of the way.

Complete & absolute nightmare. I have downloaded this app over 5x on my phone. Everytime u go to open its giving an error. Won't even connect. Worthless to me & anyone else out there, save yourself time. Need to fix your issues with this app. It worked 1x only. Now I cnt get into my vault because even online. It took me 2 wks to get my new card and they deactivated the old one so there was NO WAY for me to get money out for 2 wks. And now with this update they just did, the app will not open. I have reinstalled it 3 times in the last 2 days. I have never had a problem with the app till a couple days ago.

This is the absolute worst application i have ever had to suffer through using, 99% of the time when i try to log in the only thing the app says is "Something went wrong. Please try that again." I cant access my bank account to even see my balance and the phone lines are literally always too "busy" to call. I highly recommwnd anybody considering getting one of these cards to look into better options such as Emerald or Netspend absolutely terrible application and I regret using it.

Ive called tge number in the back of my card from 3 different working phones with perfect signal and still haven't been able to check my balance I've also tried the app and I've tried doing it from Google chrome. Sure this is a great app you can get your money earlier ( thats a lie if I've ever heard one) and our information should be visible just from signing it( but there's an error Everytime) oh and you can call the bank (not!!!)

Everytime I try to log in either on my phone OR tablet it says error. Its bullcrap. Not to mention that even after charging an arm and a leg to do my taxes (even though they said it was going to be free) and set this whole thing up for my tax refund, it wont even recieve the CARES act checks on it. I have to put a different bank account in the irs site. I will no longer use this card and I will no longer use turbotax next year.

I've been having issues with this card, the service, the app, and I didn't get my card in time and when I called they tried to blame the post office. I needed confirmation before I close my account with them that this isn't a Isolated situation and they are a poorly managed company. Well after reading several comments I'm realizing that this is certainly not isolated and I must close my account. I'm having all the same issues like everyone else. Fix the problems Turbo tax.

This app worked great when I first downloaded it. Now, however, any time I try to sign in and check my account balance, it always says there's an error or it takes forever to log in. This is very annoying as I have no other way of checking anything. Please fix this issue with your app. From what I can tell I'm not the only person having problems.

Before this week I would have given this app a 5-star rating. Suddenly, however, now that stimulus deposits have started being sent, both this app AND the website refuse to allow connections, throwing some message that "an error has occurred" with no description. I haven't even been able to reach a login screen for 5 days. Intuit had better stop holding my money hostage or they'll be losing my long-time business.

Used to work great. Doesn't let me check anything now. Takes forever to load,l and if it does gives a 'something went wrong ' message every single time. I used this app almost daily. Kinda blows that I can't till this issue is fixed. I enjoyed the convenience. Oh well.

App crashes a lot, no real customer support Online "help" is automated chat bot, was told this card could be used for stimulus payment however IRS said they still needed direct deposit info, even tho return was out on card. If given a second chance probably would never have taken this product with my taxes but they force you to get it if you want the refund anticipation loan

App sucks! Cannot get to long in screen keeps telling you to try again. When you do get to login screen and put in the CORRECT username and password it says "something is wrong, try again". To top things off, the 888# on the back of the card has a recording. Where the F^$#K is my money?????

MAKE SURE YOU DON'T FALL FOR ANY OF THEIR SCAMS! They advertise as a free tax filing website but then they strongly encourage you to upgrade. I upgraded to plus or whatever it's called where they say you're supposed to be able to speak to CPAs or a live representative if needed but I have yet to talk to anyone. That was an extra $70 mind you. And for what?? And the card...they charge a monthly fee and my stimulus check hasn't showed up and i have no one to call to find out where it's at!!

Everything went much better than I could have expected. Got my card early and taxes went straight to it. Can only pull 400 at a time but that's no biggie. Although I rate it 5 stars I haven't been able to log in for days. I got an email today saying my stimulus was deposited on there today but can't log in or use the phone to check it. Hopefully you guys are looking into this.

Took me so long to get into this thing after they sent the covid payments. And I didn't even get in the app, I had to online. And I barely got in. It was still loading and I could see the log in tabs but couldn't press them because it was still loading. I finally thought to press tab to input my log in, it barely worked and I was able to log in. I got paid at 5 am, it's 1 pm and I'm just now getting in. Such a pain! I can never log on to my account to check my balance. There is always a error. Cant get through to anyone on the phone no answer. I try logging in on the website it tells me the recaptcha failed to load over a dozen times. I dont recommend this to anyone. Keep your money in a shoebox or use a trusted local bank.

The app constantly tells me "Something went wrong" when I try to use it. On the rare occasion that it lets me get to the log in screen, it refuses to acknowledge my password until I've typed it in 6-7 times.

The app wont even open, says there is an error, sometimes it says I have a connection problem. It's not in my end because everything else works. This app has never actually worked and now its refusing to open all together!

Having ridiculous amounts of trouble accessing the app so I can view my balance. I know my login info. It has not changed since I wrote it the f*** down. You need to fix this, now. I'm not a damn password engine. I should only have to do this once. That goes for everybody.

This app use to be a good app. Now it's totally useless .. I can't login to my acct. At all. . Everytime I try it takes me to the login and always an error try again. It it goes to the activate a card page and still comes back error try again. This app has become useless.

Discouraged. Annoyed. Frustrated. Keeps telling me there was a error. Wont allow me to access the log in portion. Lastnight when I was able to login it would give me problems saying my password was wrong when I had logged in a hour prior. Please fix these errors. I am going in to a actual bank tomorrow I do not trust turbo card right now.

Haven't been able to log into app for 4 days. Says its free, ITS NOT. Had to pay $120. Had fees taken from my fed so turbo sent it to sbtg for fees. Turbo gave some thier stimulus but not others. Irs says they don't have my bank info but I used the turbo card. The bank info on my taxes is the same as the card I have. No one can tell me anything when I call. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYONE. FIRST AN LAST YEAR USING THEM!!!

Worst customer service EVER. App does not work for 1,000s of ppl right now. Number on card is disconnected, website won't load. No help online. I paid extra money to be able to talk to a Real Person... not possible. This is outrageous. At a time when we need our stimulus money the most, we are left in the dark. I will Not be using this service ever again. I gave my loyalty to this company for yrs, knowing there were cheaper and better alternatives. And this is my thanks?

This app has not been working and wont even take my correct log in info. I try to reset my log in info and an error message pops up advising me to try again later. When I went to call the card it gave me an error message saying the number you have dialed has been changed or disconnected... This is b.s.

Worst product ever. I will be switching to HR Block next year. I will also be pulling all funds from this account upon finally having the ability to access it. I've tried for two days on both my mobile and computer. Just keeps saying error, try again later. I have. Fix the issue or I'll take this to a lawyer.

Very Poor Don't Use this card, Was basically forced to use this card to get my tax refund, Once i received my refund i drained the card and never looked at it again, needless to say they charge you $4.95 a month in a fee which will accumulate if you do not cancel the card after your done with it. This was forced via our Government and they speak so highly of these cards which is also used for the unemployment benefits. Only reason i caught this is due to the covid19 issue. User beware!

I see a lot of people with issues and no responses from customer service. I too had the same account issue of every time I tried to log in it treated me like a new customer, forcing me to create a whole new account. Website works just fine. Uninstalling. Thanks.

Ok, up until this point I've always loved this product. I can check my balance, get direct deposits still and quickly move money around to stash and unstash. But I guess there was an update because now I can't even access my balance. It won't even try to load up. It's been doing this for the past 3days where sometimes it'll work and others it won't. What is going on?

!!!!STIMULUS CHECK INFO!!!!!!! Fix the app already!! Also, states on the website that if people used you all to file then no action is needed to recieve stimulus check. (Lie) if you go to irs website to track your payment they wont find a bank,account for turbo tax users and you have to input one or receive check by mail. Just a heads up folks!!!!

Neither Greendotbank OR Turbotax have a means of talking to someone about your problems. Even the number on the BACK OF CARD does not get you to a live person. And now with this stimulus package happening amidst this crisis, I have no way of contacting anyone about how to access my money, which has most likely been put into an account I may never be able to access. Never ever use the prepaid debit card option when filing your taxes, and you can avoid ever having to deal with this flawed system

Inescapable Login Issue I absolutely know my password but on the initial login attempt, it tells me that my information is incorrect and the only way to remedy this is, to make a nee password. I don't do this through this app since in order to create a new password, it asks for sensitive personal information which is a big red flag. It should never ask for SS# and card info for a replacement password. This is absurd and I will stick with using the TurboTax webpage for any info regarding my card

The worse app.. it always fails on my phone. Gives me the Error please try again then if it does happen to connect it takes so long to load.. I did updates and connect to wifi. Ugh. I have the Note10+ so newer phone. Disappointed especially waiting on my stimulus. Will not use again. You can get a no fee bank no overdraft account online use that for your taxes and Direct deposits

App will not load. Will not allow me to sign in to my account. Previously it was working just fine. I would have given a five star rating. However, the app is no longer working. This has been going on for multiple days now. I have the fullest updated verision of this app. Data and Wi-Fi use as well. Simply calling the number to check my balance is not an issue. However, to use the app for what it was made for and intended use is no longer available to me. Please fix this issue.

After many attempts I still cannot get a human and yall even have the automated system trained to hang up on us. The notice at the top of your site says customer care is your top priority. Well take it from a customer that joke is not funny!!! CUSTOMER CARE DOES NOT EXIST!!!! This card goes in the trash as soon as all our tax money is available and removed. It would have been faster and far easier to have waited on a check. The regular green dot card number is out of service...

Garbage app!!! Every time I try to log in "Something went wrong. Please try to log in again later" or "Something isn't quite right!" Despite typing my password in the same way every time. Also, there are times when I have to create a new password because "somethings not quite right!" and it never texts me the verification code, so I have to wait until the next day to try again.

Okay, so I haven't even gotten my card yet, but I figured I should get the app while I wait to get the card. This is insanity... I should have just stuck with a paper check.... every time I tried to log on on the app (or on the website) it tells me my info is not correct, which it is..... I saved the login info to this phone. And it sounds like customer service is an all around joke.... I think that this will be my last year going through turd o tax..

Everything can be done on app and is easy to set up, but had several unauthorized transactions. Handles dispute promptly and recredited account . However, there are a few more transactions I need to dispute and app wont let me do it again. The phone line cuts off after waiting for a long time to speak with a rep and am getting frusterated!! Also wonder will they investigate it bc i want amswers as to why or who accessed my info illegally!!

This app is useless for anything but checking the ballance. You can report a card lost or stolen and lord forbid you do not recieve your card! Their automated system will just hang up on you and you can not even reach a rep to speak with them because guess what. I never got my card and do not have the last for digits!!! Pathetic! Will never use turbo tax or green dot bank again this is just stupid. Any bank is better than this system!

Great but depends on where you go to reload. Some of the locations I've been to ask for ID which I understand but I've had a few places not letting me add cash money to my card maybe because it was above 500 dollars but then again I guess it depends on the place some locations are more knowledgeable than others I guess.

I downloaded the app and I put in my user name and password and it says I have a negative 9 dollars when I actually have 886 dollars and an alert pops up informing me I can't use the app to do anything with my account and all because I closed my account. I have no idea what that means and when I call the number on the turbo card they are no help what so ever. I still can't access the mobile app. The website is zero help because it keeps sending me to the mobile app. Just seriously frustrated.

I have experienced deplorable customer treatment. Plus it has zero fraud protection. Turbotax does not look out for their customers. They do everything they can to get around federal regulations. Finally, it is not a safe option to have your money deposited or stored.

The Turbo debit card is a scam, they sold it to me as a way to get my tax refund faster only to find out later that I would receive it on the card just as soon as I would have received it via direct deposit. Also they open up a bank account for you without your knowledge or consent and it (so far) has been extremely difficult to get in contact with their customer support to accomplish anything. I have been trying to close the bank account and cancel the debit card & have been put on hold 2hrs

So I set everything up on the card after we got it. I was able to set up what I wanted and check my accounts etc. Today I try to get into my account, using the same info saved on my tablet to sign in. All of a sudden it is telling me we don't have an account. I go through resetting the log in info. It let me reset it but now it is telling me there is a problem with my log in info.....so I tried resetting the sign in stuff again thinking I might have messed up. No success. Will not use again.....

Cannot log into this app w/my same TurboTax an d Turbo (app) credentials to manage my Intuit Turbo Visa Debit card (from GreenDot), I have the card & can manage it via the Turbo app (sucks!), but this app w/the same issuers (Intuit/Turbo, GreenDot, Visa) won't recognize my account. Same issuer. Same bank as the account partner. Same Visa network. I'm not brand new I already made sure that they matched up... The GreenDot app here is all I need, why make me use the other app? THAT IS RIDICULOUS.

If I could give bo stars I would. I have had my turbo card for 2 weeks now and it has been activated for 2 weeks. I created a account and it will not let me in my own account. It keeps telling me the information isnt correct when I know it is, when I put the card number in it tells me I have put in the wrong number. I have used turbo tax for years now and just started to try and us the card app this year. It's a hassle and a pain.

I have no problem with the app love the stash setting and everything!! But i do want to know why my card was still charged $10.41 at a citgo gas station when my card declined cause i didnt have enough. This is very inconvenient!!! Ive NEVER had a card take my money off if it declined!!! And i cant seem to get ahold of a representative to get the problem. When i call the number i get an automated message🙄 very disappointing !!

Downloaded the app so I wouldn't have to always go online. I entered my information and I've done it many times and it still doesn't recognize my username, are saying its the wrong information on file. I am beyond frustrated. I also trying to do my direct deposit online and it's saying wrong routing number. I call customer service the 1st time they hung up on me the 2nd time they told me it the right routing number and I had no other options

The app is on to use, however I'm giving three stars because the "where's my card" option in the app doesn't work. The link is suppose to track your card to see when it arrived in the mail but instead a error message pops up and it's been 4 days since I signed up for the card.

Unable to use temporary card. I've called customer service numerous times and I still can't get any use from my temporary card at all to make any online purchases or pay bills after several complaints to the call center..... still unresolved. I was told there is a system issue going on causing problems with temporary cards that is being worked on but there is no timeframe of when this will be fixed. This is very sad... What is the purpose of the advance if customers can't access their funds...

I couldn't ask for a better prepaid card. Other card companies will get you with hidden fees and unexplainable transactions that will not get resolved. I will forever recommend Turbo Card to everyone and I will always be thankful that I discovered TurboTax years ago!

My husband and I have been extremely happy with our Turbo Card for the past 2 years!! I have also had my Direct Deposit made to our card from my past employment, and, I plan to set up and use Turbo Card Direct Deposit again for future employment! The card has been a blessing and very convenient for us! Just being able to receive your pay up to 2 days earlier than everyone else is amazing!! Any time I have had to contact Customer Service for whatever the reason may have been, they have always been very nice, helpful and quick with replies and answered my questions or concerns with no issues at all!! As long as Turbo Card is available, and, Turbo Tax is available, we will continue to use both!! We have also recommended Turbo Tax and Turbo Card to family and friends! I have even given my customers advice on using Turbo Card and Turbo Tax!! As being someone who has been terrified of filing taxes, I no longer worry due to all of the help and step by step instructiions given that are easy to follow and complete! THANK YOU TURBO CARD and TURBO TAX for being available to us for our personal use!! You have our business as long as you are always available!! Keep up the awesome work!! God bless!! 💜

I like the card the company isn't the best. That's why it's prepaid but the app doesn't load to log in half of the time. Just get a loading page when I open the app and it stays like that. No point to use app if I have to just log in online.

👉My biggest issue is the Dispute Transaction process, which is quite difficult, inconvenient & lengthy. I feel as though, especially with such a well known & established company (ies), the process to dispute an incorrect charge should be fairly simple, as banks offer an online option to do so. The process takes at least a month to receive a 'Received' notice& even longer to receive funds that were taken from you. This fact alone is enough to make you think twice about using TurboCard. 👎

Horrible service. I requested a new card over a month ago, it never arrived. A week ago I requested one again after they removed a way of requesting money (PayPal) leaving me without access to my funds. You're never informed of big changes like this and they still claim sending money through PayPal is an option on their website. Despite promises on their website and customer service reps that it would ship in a week max, I received an email that it would take 2 weeks. Avoid them like the plague.

Banks have screwed me over and this one doesn't. It's a little difficult to send money but for someone like me that's probably a better thing lol. But if has all the functions of a regular debit card and I get direct deposit from my job and can even stash money away! Great service, great app y'all! Keep it up!!

I love being able to use this card for my direct deposit from my employer. I love that I can send money to my different accounts fairly easily and check the balance on the card quickly. Customer service has been swift and helpful, too. The only thing I don't love is the bill pay functionality between the website and the app. The last time I tried to set up bill pay, it crashed so frequently that eventually I gave up and paid my bill over the phone. Overall, great and useful app!

This card has been a life saver! Super simple and easy to use. The extra features like the ATM map and slide without having to log in are also super convenient. Just wish when it showed transactions it showed the time along with it.

I am switching companies. This app is back on it's BS. Tranferring money from vault to account is suddenly a problem. An error keeps popping up saying my phone's time is too fast. Then my account mysteriously ended up with $20 out of nowhere. I feel like I can't trust it anymore.

I have had nothing but positive experiences since I started using the turbo card. Direct deposit allows me to get my check a day or two early, depositing paper checks is as easy as it gets, and I can track my balance several ways. The one down side and only reason for the 4 star review is disputing transactions. It would be a perfect app if one could dispute transactions through the app and not have to download a separate form then mail it in and hope you get refunded. Only flaw I see.

Very useful and reliable. Wish the mobile deposit was quicker but for security and fraud prevention it can't be helped. Real-time access to my account and transaction history as well as quick checking my balance are very attractive features to me. Thank you!

I really love this card. most other prepaid debit cards are very limited on what you can use it for. I've never been declined because it's a prepaid card, I get my check 2 days sooner than with my PNC answer access account, the "stash" feature is awesome for saving money, and being able to utilize bill pay is a life saver. i can't do any of that with other prepaid cards

Live the app. My tax refund came before the card, so I was nervous it would get stolen and activated. But the vault feature kept my money safe. No one could access any of the $ in my account even if they stole the card and were able to activate it, unless they also stole my phone AND knew the password. Great idea Green Dot!

great app the only problem is when u deposit a check, should have option to deposit sooner, especially when you are living pay check to pay check, had to wait an additional 7 days to receive my funds, that was rough. the company should offer faster deposit even if it's for a small amount so you have the option to get your money faster. Other then that great app, very user friendly.

I shouldnt even give this app a star. IT SUCKS, All of it. You have to verify your phone number or email everytime you log in. When verifying with your email it kicks you out. The app is slow. Customer Service?? Well there isnt none whatsoever. I tried to go to walmart and buy things and couldbt even do so because it constantly said i was using the wrong pin number. It just completely sucks.

Will never use this card for anything again. We can't get a live person on the phone, can't readily check balances without verification through text or email, they only list the primary tax filer on the card (making it difficult for the secondary/spouse to withdraw funds) and the daily limits are not accurate on their website. There are better companies out there.

This is horrible! I tried the Turbo Visa hoping to get my return a few days early and liked the idea of no atm fees. I had to reset my password 8 times before I could finally login. No early refund either. The free ATMs are very limited and from what i have read they just give an error message or don't work when it comes to waiving the fee. I am never using this card again. Turbo Tax should have stuck with NetSpend!

Wouldn't tell me what was wrong with the password, just that it wouldn't accept it despite containing numbers and min characters. Forcing me to jump through hoops for your marketing BS pisses me off. I was beginning to think TurboTax was as easy as they claim it is. I filed my taxes early January through TurboTax and chose there own prepaid turbo cash card (debit) option to receive my refund the card is supposed to be shipped 7-10 days from filing. i download there card app as well to keep track of my card. the app says they shipped the card but it never came. Ive now ordered 3 cards to the same address and its mid-February and none have came. i recieved my refund but no card!!!!!!!!!!

Scam!!!! I opted to use this card for the first time and i created my log in information and it gives me an error message. I called in for help and they keep telling me to click a link. I tried to explain several times the issue before asking for a manager and it took me 10 minutes to get the rep to transfer me. So the money is deposited into the account and I have no way to access it or get help to access it.

I have used this app several months and it currently will not open. The Bill pay feature keeps saying Oops something went wrong! It is as if this feature is blocked. I was on the phone w customer service for over two hours checking to see if a due bill payment went through. I would hope the Bill pay service would work after a week's time. This would be misrepresentation of services to the American public if this feature is permanently disabled.

Easy and convenient app. Pay bills, send money to emails, numbers and PayPal. Can save money in a vault it's safer than having a savings bank account. Money stays there. I looove it!!
