This is my first app store purchase, 🤯💕 freakin love it! I'd cut cable TV years ago, and I'm getting to the point I can't stand regular TV, the view points, personalitys, propaganda 🤮. This allows me to watch what I actually want to see, when and where I want. No complaints about that, so much great content, it'll take awhile to see it all

MODTV needs an Android TV app or it needs to allow casting of live streaming events. The only reason I got this app was to be able to watch live events on my TV and I can't. The marketing leads one to believe you can. If I am wrong I would love to know how to cast live events to my TV.

If you want to use the app for streaming to your TV then this won't work. It plays for maybe 5 or 10 minutes then freezes and stops streaming. I think it happens when the app trys to play an ad..... not sure why they are force feeding me ads in streams when I'm paying for the sub but it is what it is I guess. App is trash.

It's pretty decent. Only a handful of shows that I care about, but I guess it's no different than Netflix or any other providers. My biggest gripe is not keeping up on current releases. If you are the premier outdoors show provider, you think you'd be at least in pace with release dates.

The shows are good but the app is hot garbage and is constantly buffering. Edit. 8 days later and still doing it I've uninstalled and installed multiple times and it just does it over and over. The $99 annual subscription is not worth it with an app that doesn't even work.

I got the channel to watch MLF. The content is exactly what I was looking for and I'm sure there are other shows I'll watch My major problem with this is the interface. If you want to watch the next episode you have to go looking for it. "Continue Watching" doesn't just bring it up to the top of the menu. Not to mention the titles for the episodes don't tell you anything about where they are. You have to open each episode in order to figure out if it's even the one you left off on Please Improve

Love the contact, but the app sucks across the board. App will no longer launch on my phone or Roku. Chatted with customer care about the "next episode" issue and got no useful help. Please fix app issues!!

Great idea, awful execution It is so horribly done. I love my hunting and fishing and love a lot of the shows on this app but it's that bugged and faulty it's just not worth it. Crashes more than an old Asian woman behind the wheel and freezes like a dogs balls on a Winter's porch.

The app is TERRIBLE. Keeps automatically rewinding, on it's own, whatever show you are watching. So annoying that after a while you just give up and stop watching altogether. Good concept. I'm sure the content is good but I'll have to let you know when I'm actually able to watch it.

This app wouldn't be a bad app. The concept is great but there are little glitches that have been present for months and they don't get improved. 90% of showes will restart at random points throughout trying to watch a show or series.

Easily could be 5 star but your app is just terrible, it is slow and laggy I always have to open it up to or three times before it works navigating to your shows is non existent your continue watching is only that episode then you have to try to find the season again which again app is super slow and you have no apps for TV so I have to cast it (which is whatever) I love the content and shows but again the app is just terrible

App is bad. 1) Episodes out of order 2) no next video to keep watching the show. 3) literally have to go into the show scroll back to the season you were on and then figure out which episode you left off on.

It's a great app, but needs some tweaks. It doesn't always display which episodes have been viewed. You'll be watching one particular show and the autoplay will randomly select a different show all together. When streaming to Chromecast, it'll play then randomly restart the episode at the time stamp that you started streaming at (not sure if this is an internet speed issue as I am on rural internet), it's weird that it restarts rather than pauses to buffer though...

Love that this app exists, amazing content. My only problem is with the way the app itself works. It constantly freezes while my show is playing. And it doesn't play the next episode on its own, it plays the first episode of the show next everytime, or another random show entirely. So I have to manually select the next episode I want to watch everytime.

The app is overall good, however very poor at casting to TV. No pause enabled or skip function when casting. Video keeps buffering and skipping back. Alot of updates required, considering the price of subscription.

This App is horrible...... It still won't let me open it again after my trial and I'm still bring billed for the subscription but cancel it unless I can get into the app. Do yourself the favor and don't get this app!!!!!

All your favorite hunting and fishing shows one click away. Cant cast to TV no picture just sound. Also when using the search option you find a episode and click on it it only has that episode on the page at the bottom it says recommended for you its nothing to do with what your watching it should have the rest of that season on so when your done you can watch the next episode instead of having to search for each one. i hope i explained it right

Would be 5 star but app doesn't always work and hardly ever works on the TV. Love the content wish it was a little easier to maneuver around but it gets my fix for hunting fishing and shooting

Great if u don't cast from device. If u do the constant restart of episodes is gonna happen. If the episode actually plays all the way through then buckle up to rewind to an episode u have already watched. Frustrating and annoying. With all the streaming technology out there this should be an easy fix/patch for a developer. I sent in a trouble ticket and never got a response.

Don't get if you use a chrome cast or roku app, it constantly restarts your show and it's annoying. Works fine on just your phone.

I like the options, but on my xbox I constantly have to force stop it and go back in after each time I turn my xbox off. On my TV after the initial instillation it won't load anything other previously watched shows.

Got it purely to watch Gold Fever. It seemed like it had a good selection of other content as well and is easy to use. Never had any problems except I wanted to watch older episodes of gold fever their selection was limited..

The shows are awesome and the price is fair. However, I have experienced trouble with my Chromecast. At times, at random, I won't be able fast forward or rewind....it just doesn't communicate. To fix that I attempted mirroring my screen, and it wouldn't mirror. Other than little things like that, there is alot of great content for a fair price. I got rid of Netflix and got this.

Sadly it is not worth it. Watched religiously and now everytime you open the app it crashes. Sometimes it gets to the menu but never plays anything. Cancelling my subscription until its fixed since you can't watch anything.

I had some issues with paying the sub and it still said "start your free trail" the customer support took awhile to respond but definitely made things right, I was wrong about the company they truly do care about their customers. There is alot of content on the app, it's definitely worth the subscription.

I deleted this app months ago, yet continue to be charged. Customer Service wants information from my account that has already been deleted! Very frusterating. App was not worth money either in my opinion. Not user friendly

There ideah of using multiple devices for one account is 2 devices. If you log into the app on your roku and you computer you can't log in on anything else. limiting streams makes sense but limiting devices to 2 is rediculous especially for the price. Not to mention alot of the shows are also available on Amazon Prime for no extra cost.

Hit or miss.... App on the phone works fine. Navigation is a bit clumsy. But watching it on tv...holy buffering bat man! For 10 bucks a month, streaming should be flawless! Every 2 seconds... buffering! Unwatchable! Gave them a chance to fix their buggy ass stream. Just cancelled 12/15/20. Never again!

This app has great potential but it is the most glitchy app I have ever used. Constantly tells me to sign up for a free trial when I am logged in and have paid for membership. It also won't allow me to be logged in on my phone as well as my android box. The episodes don't play continuously, instead it's random. Constantly crashes and kicks me out. I am cancelling my subscription as it causes me more frustration then enjoyment. Too bad really.

Downloaded shows won't play. If you're going to have it as an option then make sure it works. Delete the download and it streams fine, just won't play downloaded shows.

Great service. Love the shows. App needs to take some notes from other popular apps. i.e: I wish it would play episodes in order. If you start a show and play an episode, it jumps to another random episode from a series you've started rather than the one you're watching. Its frustrating having to play each episode manually.

Worked great at first then had some app issues. Cancelled my subscription and Uninstaller the app. Reinstalled the app a few more times accepted the subscription but wouldn't let anything play.

This is a great concept, but absolutely horrible connections was ok at first but now cannot watch anything on any devices. Customer service kept saying roku bug, but other app's are fine. Will not even work on tablet. Just keep getting excuses will be canceling.

I love this app. It has all my favorite hunting, fishing, and shooting shows on it. Had a slight issue at first with all the shows loading, but got in touch with support and the problem was soon resolved. Great app.

Great app, no real complaints other than if I have a video on pause for too long and I switch to another app/text message it will close the app and I have to restart my video. Not a big deal, I love the variety!

Works good on my phone, wish there was a category "continue watching" The app for Xbox one really sucks. Pain in the ass to navigate, figure out where you left off, and to initially load app from home screen (says no internet connection when the console is hardwired to router/ modem). As well as if you move joy stick, the mouse icon will never disappear afterwords so you have to move it to side of screen which is annoying and the picture doesn't fill in the whole screen either.

The only reason I would get cable or satellite is for the outdoor networks, and with this app it's very affordable with plenty of shows to keep you occupied for hours. You pick your preferences and walla, shows upon shows to watch. Love it!

Update 08Oct Won't open because it says I need to check my internet conx- which has no issues as proven by the fact that others worked before, during, & after MOTV's launch failures. Reinstall fixed nothing. 30Sep Good... When it works. So-so UI, both pauses & resets shows at random, has intermittent app freezing issues, & all problems are more common while casting. Not exactly what I'd expect for an app/access that costs more than/as much as Prime, Hulu, etc

Im paying for it and it will not work on my TV or phone it was doing great then just stoped and havent been able to get it to work for days seems like it worked great during the trial and then once they got their money it stoped working

Great app but it doesn't support Chrome casting. Soon as my phone sleeps the app restarts. And when I cast my screen, it goes black like it doesn't support it

The app was great until a week ago,a rate this app popped up and I skipped it and now nothing will work. None of the episodes I downloaded will play,nothing will load no matter if I have full service or wifi. The tv app keeps closing itself out. And I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the app

I like what shows i can watch but 90% of the time the app doesnt function. Doesnt work on the roku either. The app fails and reboots roku.. Only app that causes this problem. My hulu.. Netflix..nhl etc all work great.

App works great on my phone. Needs serious bugs fixed on Roku. Constanly freezing then stopping. Navigation is EXTREMELY SLLLOOOW. Count down timer ends then screen blacks out for several mimutes before starting. Very frustrating. Drop rating. Has gone from running slow to not working at all. App is completely worthless.

Terrible service to try to cancel. Have to jump through hoops to do it. Won't let you cancel from your app you have to use the website. Once on website it says you have to do it from your device. I want to cancel and save the money I'm spending and it will not let me. App doesn't work with some brands of tv so I can't even watch it on my new tv. Laggy and hard to use. Crashes.

Pretty poor. I can't watch this on all three of my devices. I try to watch it on my roku and it force restarts my TV, same with my fire stick. And when I try to watch on my phone videos never load. Kind of ridiculous considering its 10$ a month to watch a load screen

Terrible. My subscription wasn't renewed one month and when I renewed it nothing would pay. Emailed support twice now and still no response and still only free episodes play. Subscription has been cancelled.

I downloaded this app for my fire stick and my roku. The app was slow and very unresponsive. When I selected a show every single time it would kick me out of the app back to the home screen of the device. I downloaded the app on my phone to mirror to the television and they won't recognize the email address I used for my free trial but they were sure to get my $11 even though I never watched a single show. And of course they have a no refund policy, they are just crooks.

App won't stay open, keeps closing itself. Funny how it started happening immediately after paying for the subscription. App used to be great. And yes I've restarted the app and my phone., update now nothing is loading. happened immediately after a rate our app pop up happened, I skipped it and the app shut down.

I dont even want to attempt this app on my phone. Downloaded it onto my roku and all ot does is freeze. Pursuit channel doesnt have the big names, but at least the app works flawlessly, AND it's free. Glad I got a free trial instead of paying up front for a useless app. Dont waste your time or money, best of luck if you do.

I love this app! I turn it on to have background noise when working at home. Reason for the 4 stars is the occasional buffering that doesn't resolve. No problem. Restart the app and goes away.

Great app with some fantastic shows when it works but half the time it closes straight after it opens and when it does open the shows I click to down load go through the down load but dont actually appear in my gallery for some unknown reason, apart from these problems it's all good!

Casting from the app to my TV and the shows play for two minutes then it jumps back to the very beginning of the show. So skip forward to where you are again and watch another two minutes then it jumps back to the beginning Again! Super frustrating trying to watch any show with my family!!!!

This app is a welcome addition to my entertainment options. The reason for stars being deducted is lack of compatibility. The application is not compatible with Android TV, Sony smart TVs, or PS4. I contacted the developer and they have no plans to make the minor tweaks needed to remedy these gaping holes in their market base. This unfortunately leads to me having to use my phone to cast the video to my tv when I would prefer to save my device battery and utilize a native application.

This is the first and only review Ive ever left on anything. I used the app on XBOX & enjoyed the free content. So I downloaded it on my phone and paid for a year subscription ($98?..I pay less for Netflix..come on guys..) Almost immediately upon buying the subscription the app stopped working. Closes abruptly and wouldnt open. Tried reinstalling it. Nothing. Update: new update in the app seems to work. Prompt reply from the company. 4/5 for the cost and initial failure to work.

Constantly having to uninstall and reinstall the app just to make it work. Love the content and using it outside of the app, but the app is trash.

Terrible app. Every time you want to watch a new episode you must Uninstall and then reinstall. Seems like this should be resolved by now by the looks of the hundreds of other reviews with the same complaint.

Great content, unfortunately like everyone else I cannot see any of it due to the app constantly crashing, also stops mid episodes just to start it again or start playing a different episode completely. Going to unsubscribe until I see that this issue has been fixed. Told to clear data by support team, does nothing cant even get into the app. Please sort it out

Love the content, hate the app. restarts the episode randomly and continuously, often I need to uncast and close the app and restart to get it to work correctly. Needs some It love. Also, I'll stop casting to one TV and try to cast to another and app will crash. Have to uninstall/reinstall each time.

Damn shame! Could be a good app if didn't reset back to the start every couple of minutes. And that's the freebies!! Would have loved to sign up for this app but I think it would have been too frustrating. I hope you can fix this guys Peter. Nothing but app faults.. Great content but app force closes every time

The content is good when the app wants to work spend more time trying to get it working again then watching episodes. They dont seem to have a problem when taking your money on time tho. Looks like il be unsubscribing if it's not sorted.

Usually don't write a review on anything but I'm hoping the app developers will see these reviews and make changes. Used to be a great app. Now, it constantly crashes and when it doesnt crash, it takes an hour to watch a 30 minute episode due to buffering. Canceled my subscription until things get fixed, assuming they do.

The app is JUNK! I am paying good money for the app and I only get 1 episode fully watched then the app force stops. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app with the same thing happening everytime. All I want to do is watch more than 1 episode. Fix the dang thing or I'm out.

Not sure what has gone wrong with this app.? Recently I have experienced the application force closing and the episodes will not play in succession. I have emailed the developer and stated my plans to cancel my subscription if it isn't fixed soon. The content is phenomenal but if you are new and thinking of buying in, I would wait until the bug is squashed!

TRASH APP. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS SERVICE. Almost immediately after subscribing to a years worth of content the app crashes and after unistalling to reinstall, it won't even fully download. Stays at 100%. Restarted my phone, fully updated. Soooo thanks for that KSE Holdings.

This used to be a good app. After the last update there is an annoying banner that drops down during the videos and doesn't go away. That's if you can get it to play without crashing every time you open it. Not worth the money anymore.

Great content. The app is completely junk. The other reviews explain the problems bang on. If you contact support, all they will tell you is to delete the data on the app. I keep seeing the same response from the developers to all the same complaints about the app. How about you just fix the app that people pay good money for. Clearly people want the app and content, so just fix it please.

Okay I was very skeptical Bc of all the bad reviews on here, but I did it anyway and honestly I have absolutely no idea what everyone is talking about! This app and subscription is absolutely amazing, I have it on my iPhone XR, firestick, my Samsung tab a and also my tiki and Xbox and I have no problems WHAT SO EVER! Great content. App is garbage. No need to go into full details because all the other bad reviews are spot on. Chromecast starts the shows over frequently and the app crashes on a regular basis. Not to mention the poor layout of the app. Was excited about trying this but now know I won't be paying for it.

Don't waste your time! Supposed free trial ended up costing a year subscription! App constantly restarts show randomly. Xbox app is worse then 1980s cable quality, pixilated so badly it is impossible to watch. And good luck having more than one episode play in sequence!

The app is absolute garbage no matter the platform. I have it on my phone to use for Chromecast and XBOX. The cell phone streaming restarts the episode every 2 minutes. The XBOX app takes you to some low quality internet browser stream. There is no point having a streaming service if you don't know how to run a streaming service. It's not a new concept either, so the information is definitely out there. Fire your guys and hire new because they suck at their jobs.

App is slow doesnt load for nothing no matter what kind of network you are on (wifi, 4g, 5g). When it does decide to load it's nice to watch the shows but it's rare it does.

Wanted the product but this platform failed to deliver it without constant interruption due to very slow loading time (definitely not my connection). Got a 30 day free trial with intent to subscribe. Cancelled it next day and will not try to use it ever again.

Whilst the app works fine, the older shows don't bother me. What made me cancel was the fact when streaming it to the TV it is not in HD. More like SD and it's no good to watch. Sorry but you need to stream in HD these days.

I tried the trial period, needed my payment info. Searched for shows like hunting fishing shooting. All the episodes are from last year, nothing current, you can find more content on YouTube. I've tried canceling online with no luck. Called the credit card to stop paying the monthly fee. Super pissed lots of regret.

This app will restart every show about 5 minutes in if I stream it to a Chromecast. Also, even if I stream low quality, it has to stop and buffer every 2 or 3 minutes. Samsung Tab S4 on Wi-Fi and on 4G LTE. Great app otherwise and lot's of great shows.

Frustrating to watch on my phone. It is constantly buffering if I can even get it to play. I don't have this issue with any other streaming service on my phone. The service works much better on a computer. Galaxy note 8.

It's a great time waster! It takes alm1 hour to get to the program I want no matter which device I use and regardless of the service I use. I was excited for all the heavy hitters it Carrie's, but I can't wait until sunrise to watch them. I'm resigning my membership because for $9.99 monthly I should not get so dad gum irritated,!

Man, I was SO excited about this app. I was just telling my wife about Lee and Tiffany and how much I missed the outdoor channel. Found a free episode on youtube that she enjoyed. We saw the promo for the app about 6 times. Downloaded it. And immediately had issues. Couldnt subscribe due to force closes over and over.... And then the load time on the posted free episodes was God awful. Outdoor channel, I REALLY want this app and I will GLADLY pay. Let me know when bugs are fixed, please.

I'm sorry to say I wouldn't pay a penny for this subscription. DOS had a more friendly UI in when the Soviet Union was still a thing. The TV app refuses to play a single episode the whole way through without freezing the TV and sending it into a boot cycle. And the phone app wouldn't even open. And for some entire seasons of shows an error message of 'unauthorized' prevents you from watching. I'm a big fan of a lot of these shows, I hope it gets fixed, but this is terrible.

I already pay a lot of money extra a month to have a cable package that includes outdoor channel, sportsman channel, and pursuit channel. I am not going to pay an extra $10/month just to be able to access the same programming on my phone. You should add a cable/dish login like literally every other streaming channel app for people that already pay to watch the channel on tv.

Technical issues like crazy, screen randomly rotates when not moving the device. Starts buffering and freezes (not my internet at 100+ mbps). This morning the show would restart after 30 seconds or so of watching. They have alot of bugs to work out to make this a good app.

This app is GARBAGE. Experienced so many technical problems across all my devices. Downloads never worked right, fast forward/rewind bugs, search engine didn't work properly, shows couldn't be located, extremely slow, took up a massive amount of space and many other annoying things. And that's not the worst part. The tech support is worthless and rude! As a streaming app MOTV is awful and it's sad b/c the content is amazing but the app is trash. it's not my devices ! They are all new/updated..

It's a great idea and they seem to have a giant selection of shows. But the app is a MESS! Terrible navigation, weak and ineffective search, and glitches galore. Landscape to portrait switches frequently, when casting to Chromecast is resets time back to the place where you begin watching every couple minutes. It takes too long to load the home screen and you are unable to do anything while it's "thinking", you can't open the menus, you can't go back or exit, you're just locked up until it loads

This app has great content and easy to navigate. My only complaint is that I cant view it on PS4. I dont want to have to go and buy a roku or chromecast.. I would love to be able to view on what I already own. Please make make this availible on PS4 and XBOX!

Every time my phone screen goes black, it resets the episode I'm watching. I have to keep touching the screen to watch a full episode without it skipping back and resetting on me all the time. It would be nice if they fixed this glitch.

Frequently gets stuck loading when i try to chromecast (no real desire to just watch this on my phone, no app on sony tv.) Shows constantly restart back to beginning. May cancel if the app can not start functioning properly everything else casts fine.

This app would be great but..... dosen't work half the time won't load, when you download episodes to watch offline they don't load, quite often when watching a show you get a few minutes in and the dam thing starts at the beginning agin, not overly impressed have had this app over a year and pay good money for it I expect it to work.

Decent app, but changes back and forth from landscape to portrait 7-10 times during a 22 minute episode. It's very annoying. And on a few occasions, when you're binge watching a show, it doesn't stay on the same show for the next episode. It's probably not going to make it past the trial period. Not worth $9.99 a month for the reasons listed above.

good content, when i'm actually able to watch the shows. the app is horrible, majority of the time even after i am signed in it says i need to log in so i do, then (if the app doesnt shut down) when i click on the show again it says i do not have a subscription to view content, even though my bank statement says otherwise. pretty sweet deal though for them, collect my money but still not let me watch the shows.

The Content is Outstanding! This App though, when used on Android devices, is NOT Outstanding. The service deserves a 5 Star Rating, but the app itself deserves a 1 Star rating. I recommend to customer service to stop telling the bad reviewers to email a support system and start fixing these issues with the app. Great Apps work just fine WITHOUT having to send their customers to a support email. I am having all the same issues that have been previously mentioned.

Good when it loads. I pay for it and it worked good for 3 days and then I went to try it once and it won't load. not even will the app laod. It works on phone which is connected to the same Wi-Fi as my tv..but won't load on tv and it's not the tv. Wish they could make It load for me!!!

dosen't keep track of what you've watched I have to constantly find where I left off at very annoying also while watching a series at the end of an episode it will play a random episode of a show I've never watched before they also keep taking away earlier seasons of shows so no way to watch full series

I would love to subscribe to this app, but it buffers every minute, is there a way to fix this? is it something at my end to do with internet preventing it from working properly, I've seen many other people are having the same issue, if its fixed I'd happily subscribe and pay money but until I can watch more than a min without buffering I'll just stay clear for now

It's like Netflix but for all things outdoor! wish it could stream to the tv a little better (currently just using the default "screen sharing" on phone and that works pretty well. Love the app though!

Plenty of great shows but can not download and watch in airplane mode. Whats the point in downloading if you cant watch it without service. Also I feel like you should be able to cast to your TV. If I bought the subscription I should be able to watch on a TV with or without a "Roku" or like devices. That way I could show my friends and family when visiting. #freeadvertising

Still a great app. Everyone having issues with it needs to contact the developer. They’ve addressed any issues I had. I love the update. Now the shows play back to back without my interaction. I watch on my iPhone, Galaxy Tablet, and laptop. Great job guys.

the app on its own is great. good selection of shows. My reason I canceled subscription is google play charged me two months and I was not able to access the app. When I did log onto the app it said i was not a premium subscriber (even though I was being charged as one. also the refund policy is not favorable to the consumer. buyer beware if you experience diffaculty with access you must come to terms with wasting your money on a service you can not use.

I could not get a single video to load. Logged in and out, uninstalled and reinstalled, nearly full service 4g and waited several minutes and not a single video would load. Garbage, and will not waste my money on the subscription because of it.

This app updated and lost my subscription. When I try to watch a show it will tell me I need a subscription, I have a subscription, and my subscription has been cancelled. Three different messages saying 3 different things. It's not hard to do pre-release testing, this is a problem that never should happen.

I love the idea of the app but the new update is awful it removed all of my watchlist shows and now the navigation which was already bad is even worse I cant even find any of the shows I like in the app I have to go to my web browser and add them there. Great idea terrible execution.

This is my 3rd or 4th review. As much as I want to like this app and use it for its purpose I can tell you I wasted my money and will not subscribe again once this subscription is over. I can stream any and everything else that I want off any other apps but when it comes to this one...... Nope. I can stream music, Netflix, movies but not fishing or hunting without it buffering or reloading. Its a joke. People spend their money on something like this for a pass time and can't even use it.

I was liking this app till on my free trial and all of a sudden they billing me for the month before my trails even up when I already cancelled my subscription already. They need to fix this problem before they have alot of people upset like I am!!!
