This is by far the crappiest camera out there. Im sitting right next to my phone and router with camera and it still wont connect. Camera says "configuration successful" but there are no devices added on the account. Says its found one but its unable to connect. It just keeps taking me in circle. Video quality is pretty good BUT its very very delayed, so is the audio. I've had this camera for about and hour now and i hate it!

Been using app for several years and recently started doing some recording. Screwy as hell. Sometimes it records, sometimes it doesn't. Seems to have a mind of its own. 5/1/22 mipc will not connect to cam at all now. And before the 'go to" response to update to the latest version, I already have. I think it's time to find a better app.

It started off great then it just went to me not able to talk through the mic anymore it's been almost 3 years never gotten a response back on how to fix it so I'm stuck with just seeing and hearing what's going on but I am not able to talk through the camera 3 years waiting! But it's good to get..!

The app no longer is working with my camera. Will not add my device or connect to the router. I've tried everything under the sun and I still get the "failed to add new device"/"failed to connect to the router" prompt. No useful information on the internet regarding either of these issues.

It's has good video, the sound is good. Hook up was a little bit rough, it told me that I had to switch from 5g to 2g, but it still connected, so that was good .. The only problem that I have is the could storage, I already have an icloud account but there is absolutely no way to connect to it. You have to buy it on the app and that's crazy. When you go to the website it's a different language and it's of no help.

I like the camera but this app is a steaming pile of ****. It's not user-friendly at all, it's slow and I'm pretty sure it only sends motion notifications when the app is running. Whoever was in charge of making this app is clearly incompetent or just didn't care. Disappointed because this app almost makes the camera unusable. Currently trying to find another app to control the camera but haven't had any luck. Garbage.

It's so ridiculous that if I watch one of the videos from the SD card, and then immediately want to play it one more time, it uploads the data again from the SD card and again down into your phone. Doesn't this app have even the most basic function for keeping a cache of something that you're doing at the moment? Somebody on this development team does not have a clue.

They worked beautifully for a couple months and then not! Cameras cannot connect to network. It tells you to switch to 2.4 and I did that. Then it said the camera needed an update and after 30 minutes it put up a network busy notice. Now I tried to connect to the camera and it keeps saying network busy. I got it to work for a second before it said my camera was offline again. I troubleshoot as instructed but the camera never comes online. I'm using a Samsung Note 9 phone.

Worked great when I first used it. Have 2 cameras, setup was very easy. When I moved and plugged back in, only 1 of the cameras would load on app. When trying to setup second camera, keep getting Network is Busy, try later. Been trying for 2 weeks. I see the device on my network, but unable to add to app.

You probably have to use this app for your security camera, but it's not very good. - Connecting to the camera can be finicky, and it lacks status or error messages to let you know what might be wrong. - It's notably bad at app-switching; if you switch to another app and switch back, the camera view will probably be frozen, forcing you to reload from camera selection. - The latest update removed the lowest quality "Advanced Recording Mode", although it's still present in the PC app. In any case, however, the estimates on the three modes were wildly off; it used to claim 61 days for a 128 GB SD Card, when the reality was about 12. - I'm not sure if this is an app problem or a camera problem, but continuous recording goes haywire once the sun comes up, and instead of several hour-long recordings, I end up with dozens or hundreds of recordings as short as 2 seconds long, with many gaps where recording apparently just shut off. The PC app is also pretty bad. Since there's nowhere to leave reviews for that, I'll note problems here: - When you go to Playback to view recordings, it forgets the date you picked and the recording length every time you watch a recording. - You can't view playback recordings unless you first go to the camera view and start playback there -- starting a playback recording first just stalls out. - When you view recordings from previous days it often doesn't show any recordings after a random time -- these videos can still be viewed on the mobile app or downloaded from the SD card, but the PC app can't see them.

App works great with the Ethernet cable hooked up. I purchased a cheap 8" android wifi tablet and it runs on there. Beautiful image quality 1080p. Setup was okay. For wireless, make sure you're right next to your router for that. I'd like to see the white line and the image quality bars disappear from the camera screen. That would offer a full view with only the date/time stamp. Using this with a Kamtron f300.

When it works, it works great. But I wanted to move it to another part of the room (same room...my modem is there) and it wouldn't connect. Took me TWO HOURS and almost giving up before I moved it back to where it was originally and it STILL took another half hour before it connected. It shouldn't be that tough and I should be able to use the camera somewhere in the same room. TOO frustrating. I may consider ditching this and purchasing a wireless cam so it stays connected no matter where you put it. Replying to the reply.....the camera was in the SAME ROOM...not a different room so that is not a factor.

Does not obey notification settings and often vibrates my phone when I have it turned off. It also sends three notifications at once for motion detection. Cannot save recorded video to my phone itself. It saves to some gallery that is inside the app only. When watching live feed it'll randomly freeze and have to be restarted.

This is an updated review. My fast playback was fixed. Not sure how, it just started working again. The only other thing about this app that needs fixing is that there is no option to delete multiple videos at once. You can only delete one at a time, leaving it impossible to clean out your videos if you haven't had time to keep up with deleting them. Way too time consuming.

Not bad but it needs to let you watch all cameras on one screen, live. Not click into each separately. Its inefficient. ALSO, stop with the 5 second logo view EVERY time I open/close the program. Its too long and I also have to wait because you get "logged out" every time you close out. Thats annoying enough as it is. EDIT 10-31-2021: The latest update has an inaccurate recording calendar, the recorded date and time does not match the actual current date and time. I'm seeing 11/2/21 as today.

App worked very well for years and the cameras are the best out there. Now, within the last couple of weeks, app keeps showing cameras are offline every other 30 minutes or so. At first I thought my old cam was dying. So I bought a new one, but I'm having the same problem with the new one! So it's definitely a problem with the app. I'll be returning this new one for another brand, unless they fix the app ASAP!

Update.... I haven't been able to get this camera to hookup at all. Nothing like the last one I bought. Difficulties setting up...I've had this camera before and it has been the best inside one that I've owned. Yet, this time it has been really difficult getting it setup. Actually, it's been like 2wks and I haven't even gotten it hooked up long enough to get the cloud connected nor change the settings. Real FRUSTRATING!!!

Would be better rated if it wasn't for it being down for the last 24 hours! We use this to keep an eye on our kids and now it won't load even load the devices. Gets stuck in login. I didn't even mind the weird and glitchy process or troubleshooting and reconfiguring the camera if it had worked. Incredibly disappointed. Edit: while the app was down for longer than we would want from a security perspective. They did end up fixing issues. The only thing that I took the star off for is setup.

Worked great for 2 yrs then all of a sudden would no longer recognize my network even though router signal was strong and working. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling app, reseting all cams, removed 3 of 5 devices, (app locked trying to remove last 2) and tried to re-add but was unable to do anything. Update: while able to log back into the app, 3 cams still won't load despite going back through entire add sequence. MIPC shows as added successfully but then shows cams as offline.

Although there was no update from the app owner in process, the issue was corrected after 24 hours. A full drop of all ability to communicate with the app or to developers isn't the best way to work, but I'm glad to see it wasn't just the company giving up and closing down without notice. I still recommend having an offline method to use the app, as it was non functional for logging in.

It was working perfectly and then all of a sudden it stop working. I am not able to log into my account, the wheel just spins and spins it says "logging in" then a message pops up "the current network is not available. Is the network diagnostic performed ". There is no issue with the wifi connection. I need this issue fixed or else I would have to replace this camera with a different one.

After the system finished debugging the app is up and working again. I would like to give it 5 stars but the cameras or the app have always been a little glitchy at times. Nothing major but still sometimes a little annoying. I would've like to update my previous rating regarding the app but it won't let me do that.

Not sure what's going on with the app right now. Logging in takes longer time now. Even if I do manage to login all my equipment keeps telling me that it's offline or bad wifi connection. My wifi is working perfectly fine. It's frustrating for me that I'm paying for the cloud storage subscription. I hope the problem gets resolved soon if it's server that is down. I have a dog that has special needs and I have to keep watch all the time. I hate to have move to a different service provider.

Horrible connection to the internet. Lots of bugs and inability to view when needed. A long way to go on the app service. I constantly need to restart the camera and short recordings. A non stop headache just to get it to function correctly. Best to spend money elsewhere. Update... Still sucks. Always some issue or another. More of a headache than the app is worth. Going to purchase new camera with a better operating app. New camera purchased today!!! Goodbye!

Stopped working, just like that. Based on the previous comment I don't see the "feedback" option in the app. I tried reconfigure it but it keeps failing, says if your internet in more than 2ghz it won't work and you need to set your internet like that, which I won't do. Probably just get another camera, this has been weird for a long time

Wont connect to server all of a sudden. Worked fine, for the most part, and today, no camera. At times I'm even unable to log in. If I can get logged in, camera deactivated or network unavailable. This is unacceptable. I pay for cloud storage but can't access anything and it's not recording. I've reset multiple times and will connect to router but not the server.

The app worked yesterday 10/12, but is now not working. I open the app, which takes a while to load, go to the login, which takes a while to load (2 minutes minimum), finally to get to the page where it shows the camera. Unfortunately, it then shows the camera is offline. I restarted my whole internet and the camera itself. Nope, nothing. If there was a recent update since yesterday, it screwed up everything

What did you do to your network? The service has become completely unusable for the past 2 days! Both the mobile and desktop apps appear to be broken-- it takes several minutes to log in, and sometimes can't connect at all ("network not available"), and now it won't recognize my camera. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing seems to work. Please fix this ASAP! I already submitted a feedback form, just waiting to hear from you.

I've been using these cameras and this app for a year and a half and it's been a phenomenal experience, especially for the price. The picture has always been clear, the cameras responsive, and the motion detection on point. I used it yesterday and it was fine. Today the app will not sign in for anything. I need this app to work to monitor my father who is a fall risk and has dementia. I guess I'll have to switch to something else, which is very disappointing.

What in the world did you do to this app?! Whatever update was done, it's awful! None of my cameras come up, can't get into the settings to reset ANYTHING, can't even log in! My internet is fine, everything is connected right, but the app won't work. Cameras aren't cheap and I'm not looking forward to having to buy new cameras if this doesn't get fixed since there's no alternative app that can be used.

This software and connections for these cams are ridiculous. Everything connected to the net works, when loading this software at home connected to the same wifi it spins, if it does login in it won't load the devices, when finally does, all my cams show offline. The cams are good, the software coding totally gets a thumbs down. Frustrating experience when I want to keep an eye on my lil daughter.

The app and camera worked great for quite a while. Shortly after we moved to a new house and changed internet providers things changed. We couldn't login to the app on our wifi, only on our LTE could we login to the app. The camera at some point stopped working. I tried everything. I made sure only the 2.4 signal was on and got rid of the 5.0. I deleted and reinstalled the app. The camera will connect to the router but not the server. Fix this problem.

Doesn't work after latest update. It used work well, then I did the latest update. From there on, it doesn't work. It loads, and the wheel would just spin and spin while loading, or it'll say device deactivated. Meanwhile, there is no issue with the wifi or connection. It was the update, from there on it went down hill. It used to be a great product until this. Hopefully it gets fixed soon or I'll have to get a new camera from a different company and discard this one.

It's not dependable. Has issues staying connected to the wifi and no longer saves pictures when I try to take one. If I try to take a video, the whole app crashes. It wasn't an expensive camera so I guess I shouldn't expect much, but I'd love to at least be able to wake up in the morning and still see my baby on my phone. If she were younger, I wouldn't recommend this at all. My daughter is over a year now and I feel more comfortable not watching her every minute.

This app used to be good but all of a sudden my cameras were showing offline and wouldn't reconnect. There's clearly an app issue here that's not being addressed. Update 9/27: I was able to add the cameras successfully via the website and can see the video just fine. When I open the app though, it shows them offline. Again, there is clearly an issue with the app here not connecting correctly to the cameras!!! Please address this fix!

Worked well until it didn't... All of a sudden I can't connect at all to my camera. Nothing has changed. Tried everything. Reset my router, tried resetting the camera, and reconfigure the set-up. Gets through the whole process, then can't connect to the server on their end. Highly disappointing when I use this for security and to keep an eye on my pets.

Before the update the app worked just fine, now every night I go to check the camera it's black. Works fine during the day. I've tried messing with every setting nothing will fix it, even tried both resets. I tried to go to feed back and it just sits on a white screen. Fix the issues this is horrible.

This app has become a nightmare to install and to make function properly. Whatever was done to the app has messed up everything terribly and besides many other issues, I keep getting a wrong password message. And what's up with the DEMAND to set up a password once you finally manage to get your camera set up??? I DON'T want to set up a password to access my camera! So far I was only able to install one of my 2 cameras, after more than an hour trying. What a nightmare!

I pay for the yearly storage and today I was unable to download videos, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it still doesn't work. Very frustrating when I'm paying for this service.. Update: have emailed weeks ago and still have yet to get a response I'm very frustrated and I want a refund for paying for the cloud service when I can't even save my recordings. Complete rip off.

Loads slower than before. Unable to download videos on both the mobile and desktop app. I had to record screen while viewing video a few times to get the clip I needed since downloading is unreliable. Shows offline status often.. ALREADY UPDATED TO LATEST VERSION - they need to have better solutions (and using a new phone too makes no llick of difference) *sigh* You get what you pay for. As of Aug 2021, app frequently closes. Useless. 2.8 rating says it all.

The app wont let me record, it automatically kicks me out after about 1-2 seconds. Also when I try to take a snapshot it says it's saved to my album, but it is nowhere to be found. It used to save them to my actual phone gallery, but it no longer does this. Very frustrating. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck, I have the most up-to-date version of the app.

Ughh! This app used to be really good, even after they started pushing their cloud storage services relentlessly. Now, after the latest update, the app crashes every time I try to record something. Very annoying. Come on folks, fix this bug or revert to the version that didn't crash!

Camera wont record after update. I have SD card installed and set to continuous record but when I tried to view the video there's nothing. When I manual record I got booted after few seconds. Also the app kept telling me the time zone is different than my phone BUT THEY ARE THE SAME!! Everything is updated on my end, my phone, the app, etc. Edit: obviously the dev doesn't even bother to ready my full review before responding. I clearly stated in original review that the app is updated!

I can't download videos, the whole app crashes. When I hit record the app crashes, I've paid for the cloud and some of the videos just stay black..... not happy with this at all!!! I have uninstalles and reinstalled the app, I've done troubleshooting, nothing works. I got to save maybe 3 videos when I first got it but now I can't do a damn thing with it. Has to download a screen recording app to record a video I couldn't download for the police to view... its ridiculous!!!

This app wasn't bad until the last update, now it's garbage. Stopped recording on my SD cards. Every one of my cameras stopped recording but the cameras still work. This feels intentional so you have to pay for their cloud storage. I did pay for it once but it isn't consistent. It would not continue to record when there was movement on screen. Fix this!

App freezes and closes out, if you dare to use the push to talk it freezes and you have to close the app and restart it, same for the snap shot or recording options. Major lag. Constantly displays an add for their could storage and when you do buy it the ad stays on the screen which is aggravating because it takes up a portion of the viewing area.The only good thing is the extra wide angle view of the camera. Other than that the app and camera is pretty much useless and a waste of money.

App works. There were a few issues with the recording menu but it seems to be fixed after the update. The issue was I put it to "Record all the time on" but then it would only record when motion was detected. It can be confusing at times connecting cameras but if you have a little understanding of electronics then it's no big deal. So far so good, updated to 5 stars.

My cameras are scary. I'm pretty sure they are getting hacked. I hear weird noises and strange lights come on, but there's no way to find out what ip adress has logged in to my account, which I find very strange. There should be a way to see when the cameras are being viewed, a tracking log of when they were viewed, or a tracker of when the account was accessed and from where. The app is easy to use tho. And the camera quality is decent. Which almost makes it scarier.

Terrible program. Has a pop up for cloud storage that obstructs controls. Controls are unreliable and the connection is also unreliable. It worked ok for a while but the recent updates have made an at best ok program into a real garbage pile. I wouldn't buy another camera that uses this as its control software. Avoid.

This app is close to terrible: There are virtually no instructions on how to use the app -- You have to wander through various menus to try to figure things out. Very frustrating. And the MIPC website has absolutely no support whatsoever. Very unfortunate, since the camera that uses this app seems pretty good.

Like others, this camera worked fine for 2 years or so. But then a few weeks ago it stopped working. It will also not reset when you hit the reset button. Nothing. Tried re-adding. Tried hardwire connecting it to the router. Nothing. All it does is make the lens switch noise like it was going to night mode every 2 minutes or so regardless of the light condition. The thing is bricked as far as I can tell.

Paid for cloud service so I can go back and watch recordings, but when you go back to watch, it won't play through the video. You can't fastfoward or it will just freeze. What's the point of paying for the cloud when it's not dependable at all. You cannot look back at any of the videos it has saved. They just freeze or don't work at all. Terrible app. Waste of money. 0 stars if I could give it.

The app was working great but now motion detection is not picking up vehicles and people coming into my yard! And motion detection is highlighting times when nothing is happening! The video is also freezing up frequently during playback with good internet connection on my end. I hope this will be fixed.

Had an older model worked flawlessly for 2 years. Bought a second one worked fine for a week. Then both stopped recording to SD Card. Spent an evening trying to figure it out. Seems you can see your recordings on the Windows app but no luck on Android. Which worked fine as of this afternoon. Overall way too many software issues, from creating an account to changing password to using the Windows app. It's an affordable product and the electronics work very well, but software needs fixing.

I wish there was a way to delete all recordings for the day without having to do it 1 by 1 because it takes forever. I tried setting it to only record during certain hours, but for some reason it still records every time it detects any sound or motion so I wake up with 500 videos & no way to quickly delete them. The playback feature is very buggy too, many times it will not let you skip to a certain time in the video clip or reverse or the videos will randomly disappear

Not very good, it works as far as watching a live feed and playback of previous recordings. Have never been able to successfully download any of those recordings from my phone or pc though. I don't have the cloud storage option because many other reviews say that doesn't work either, or they pay for it and then are locked out shortly after. I've also read that the password login is unsecured/encrypted so be careful about that.

UPDATED LATEST VERSION SUCKS! Stupid cloud ad bar covers controls half the time. I HAVE MY OWN SD CARD, STOP PUSHING CLOUD!! Hard to delete old video, have to do one at a time cannot select all. The loud storage ad is crazy annoying. Won't be buying anymore of these cams because of the app. Loses connection, takes forever to re-connect at least a dozen tries. Just a hastle. If sun shines through window into a room the camera image is horrible. Audio is horrible if you talk through it.

Worked fine with minimal connection issues and then stopped working a few days ago. Won't reset, no drip sound, won't connect, nothing. Less than a year old. The app version I have is from April of this year and I read the company's replies to other people telling them to make sure they have the update, which I see no option to update. Kugle responded and told me to reset it... apparently they're too dumb to understand that they're products are busted. I want my money back!!!! Don't buy these!!

Bad since update. Worked great for a couple of years. After update there are many times I try to get the camera to view down but it doesn't respond. All other directions work. Sometimes it works by shutting app down then restarting. Also, the cloud ad is very annoying. Wish I could undo the latest update.

Deleted videos from the cloud on it's own. Doesnt play videos saved to the cloud. No longer getting notifications... this app started off working great. Now it sucks. And I do have the latest version! Would also be nice if I could delete multiple videos at once, not one at a time.

This app is terrible. It DOESN'T WORK. The app does not work when I'm away from home. Which is literally the point. To be able to watch my pets when I'm gone. It asks to run diagnostics and then it will stop. It asks to send an email and then the app closes by itself. I've deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times now. I wish I got a different camera now. It's just an inconvenience.

App dropped my camera off the list. Now every time I try to reinstall the camera with the audio tone, the app keeps changing my wifi password after I enter it correctly by leaving 2 characters in the password out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but get the same results - tells me I have the wrong wifi password (after the app changes it). App is useless if it won't work which makes the camera useless. The app does not work and needs to be fixed.

Why the app quit itself?? How can i use device i paid for? It is updated, that is why it doesn't work. / Another time telling you: it is the latest version. It should be recording even if there is no wify: what if there will be no connection when something important happening? It stop recording. We should be able to use it only with card and electricity. Reliably. I can't use any app because as soon as i open another app on my phone your app turns off recordings and doesn't save anything.

This app used to work fine. Now it fails to connect with the cameras that I have owned for over 3 years, rendering my hardware useless. I really don't think my cameras are broken, it's this app. This app seems to be pushing cloud storage now. I don't want cloud storage as it is both slow and insecure. This app is cratering, every update is worse than the previous. I want my camera money back, because the software simply doesn't work.

App was great for the first few months. Now it won't update the cloud for some reason. It is very slow with showing me clips from earlier in the day (using as pet cam). I know for a fact that my dog moves more during the day but I won't see the clips until the next day or sometimes not at all. Will soon purchase another camera with a better app.

App is definitely buggy with the slide feature sometimes not working and it fails to update network changes, I have to change video resolution for it to pick up me changing to mobile data instead of wifi when I leave the house. I would also love the ability to play video back at 2x, 5x, and 10x the speed, and also would love a thumbnail preview of activity at different parts of the timeline (like on YouTube), and the ability to download snippets or trim video clips because 30 mins is too much.

It does what it's supposed to, but cameras are highly unresponsive with rotating through this app. This needs to be fixed. I have to slide across the screen 70 times before it moves 3°. App and camera have the most current updates, so an out-of-date program is not the issue.

This app is incredibly frustrating. I bought a Conico camera so I could see my cats while I am away. One of my cats always pulls a blanket off the couch. This app captured the video while the blanket was still on the couch, and the video after it was on the floor. But did not record the movement. It's recording everything except the things that I want. So I have a hundred videos, none of which seem to show actual movement.

*Update - No need to contact, you know the issue and can fix it or not. Judging by your previous response I guess you're not. So I quit using it. It's updated to the latest version. Only one video can be deleted at a time.* I loved this app. I've had it almost two years. However, I can no longer select more than one video in my cloud storage to delete. I used to be able to long press and it would let me select multiple. Now I have to delete one at a time. There are way to many for that.

Its okay. The notification popping up while you have the video screen open are quite annoying. When I say notifications I don't mean the ads. I mean the notifications that say sound or motion detected. Those should pop up while you're not watching the live feed. Instead they pop up while you're watching it and block part of the feed. You can't shut them off or you no longer get any notifications.

The update did mess everything up but a reinstall and restart fixed it, atleast that's what I thought. But now I've to reinstall everytime I open the app, otherwise it just crashes instantly. I do find the camera better than couple others I tried before this. Better picture quality and movement, the alerting is also decent. But they need to fix the app else the camera is of no use.

(Android app on Galaxy-S8-active) Was ok at first but as of today it crashes every time I open the app. I can uninstall and reinstall and put back my login info and it will work that one time only. Also I can pull up my recordings on SD card in app but now it fails every time I try downloading.. if I can even get the app to open and not crash. I hope the make a fix for it in the next update. (PC app still works fine as of March 22nd 2021)

App has always been clunky but now there have been substantial feature regressions. The biggest one for me, as someone who likes to keep "clean" storage, is that I used to be able to delete all clips from cloud storage at once. Now I can only delete them one at a time and it requires a confirmation dialog for each one. Click click click click click ugh!

I've never had major issues with the app in the last year, except that my sd card never stays inserted so I don't get video footage, which is okay, I mainly use the camera to check in on my pets when I'm gone. I did notice the app lagging and my speaker not seeming to work earlier. Just downloaded the update and it is back to normal!

I already didn't care for the functionality of this app.... And now it is SO much worse!!! This update is awful. I can't even go to a specific half hour time frame and use the motion sensor feature like I used to. I don't have time to watch or scroll through a whole day of footage any time I want to look at a time frame. This is why I got cameras in the first place!

Many little frustrations buy most frustrating is the crashing on my cheap tablet. Leaving it open let's the app crash every 20 minutes or so. It makes constant monitoring a lot harder needing to restart the app. If the app restarted into the full screen mode I was already in that would be fine but it doesn't. I have to go to my tablet and select the (only1) camera each time. Edit: on low quality devices, smooth mode provides constant crash free viewing

Mic isn't working at all did the factory reset i hold the mic button down and nothing no sound coming out from the camera at all not sure why. I did the whole process all over my android phone hasn't changed its settings at all so can anyone help we loved this feature can't use may have to return product and get another one that works 100 percent.

Through a recent upgrade the speaker seems to have completely stopped working. I've uninstalled, unplugged, and reset the app a few times,, but the speaker still isn't working. This is great function as it allows you to be able to talk to your little one. Please fix this function so it's working again. Overall, the app is great!

Impossible not to hit buttons accidentially while viewing. Alarm function went off at 1am in my child's room from trying to pinch to zoom in. The results of using the app are erratic and sometimes non responsive. Cannot move camera down in landscape mode. You have to switch to portrait mode to get it to go down. Tap to speak is glitchy and unresponsive and also sometimes activates when swiping to move the camera. No access level options for guest.

Hate it. I have 5 cameras. The whole thing is hit or miss. Started out with one and thought it's workability was passable so stupid me bought four more. Would have been better to throw my money at different cameras that work with some other app. Wish i would have looked at the reviews again before trying to add more cameras as it looks like quality has declined. Getting a camera to reconnect is a joke. At this point I suggest you go with another app if you can.

The interface overlays on the picture so you can't completely see the image. In portrait mode the zoom function is very small movements. The only way to zoom in is to put it in landscape mode and all of the UI is in the way of your viewing. When Moving around in landscape view sometimes you'll hit the speaker button. Their ads take up 3/4 of the screen when in portrait mode. There are no instructions on how to set up the sensitivity for the camera.

It doesn't look too bad. Hence the two stars. But it goes back and forth between a colored and black&white screen. It's also VERY difficult to zoom. But the worst is the "mic" button. One wrong touch of the screen and you've turned it on and can't get it off. But I guess if you ignore all that junk, the video and saving options are okay.

When going into the app to send feedback to get further help it just says "the function is being maintained, please contact after sale." What a bust

Wish I could give 0, it was never the greatest at connection but now for the past few days I can't even connect and its not my wifi. It works for 5 seconds before freezing and losing connection. Also, when you go to change the display from "day or night" the screen either turns completely dark or turns grey and it won't go away till later. You have to swipe 10 times to change the direction of the camera too.

Works perfectly fine. If it's not working for you I suggest you reread the directions on how to set up. I have Google fiber for my internet. I would give it a 5* but sometimes when you go to the video it freezes you just have to refresh for it to work again which takes 1 second.

Terrible app. I have a Samsung galaxy s10e. I was able to connect my first camera and liked it for the most part. I decided to by another one since the cameras are so cheap. However, the "add new device" no longer works. The screen is blank after I select it. Also, if you have a dual band router such as Google wifi then do not buy. It requires 2.4ghz to connect and google wifi routers don't let you choose between 2.4ghz or 5ghz. Update: my phone worked for the 1st camera so its not the problem.

Won't connect, tried 6 times. Yes 2.4ghz. 3rd time the app played the sound like two instances where open. 4th time the app played the connection sound in a screeching manor. Tried two more times, still no connection. On pc it won't even give the option to connect wirelessly. No need for location permission on cell. PC didn't require it. Won't let you connect unless you give it on cell. Cloud based which sucks to begin with. I don't want or need something in the"cloud" having access to cameras.

Ever since the update I don't receive notifications. My over all experience with this camera has been terrible. For something that should be simple there's entirely way to many "notifications" and settings. Enable this and enable that. I've had other cameras that were ridiculously easy. I bought this because it had great reviews and the price was right. Again since the update I'm not able to get notifications at all even with ALL of the multiple settings set to enabled.

Don't know what changed recently but the app is almost useless now. All of a sudden I can't add devices, I can't even see my other cameras unless I manually search on the local network every time. We can't see the other cameras we're connected to in another locations like we could a week ago, it just stopped working out of nowhere. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, it's ridiculous. The cameras are decent but the app is trash, don't bother, get a different system.

I haven't been able to get it to follow motion. Also the past couple weeks when I go into settings, the menu is huge and I am unable to see all the settings or change them. The only way I've gotten around it is to reinstall, but doing that everyday is getting old. Other than that, the app is ok.

Normally this app is wonderful! I use it as a baby monitor but lately it has been going super low in KB so quality gets horrible and then it'll keep going and staying at 0 and failing video. I'm constantly going out and back in to fix for a few minutes. Have tried to update thinking that was the issue but I was already up to date 🤷‍♀️ other than that if that could be corrected somehow great app.

So far so good, except can someone PLEASE make it harder to initiate the alarm !? I've had my app open, watching my dog while I'm running errands, and tapped the alarm by accident TOO many times. I live in an apartment and can't be making that insane noise. If it would be a prompt like "sound alarm? Yes/no" that'd be much better even. Or to change the volume at least !

I highly recommend getting a different camera with a different app. Mine worked for little while until i had to move my camera for a better view & now ive tried literally everything and it will not reconnect. Oh and the app creator will reply back to everyone with the same generic response. Yes its the latest updated version. WORST APP EVER.

I have used this camera and app for nearly two years as a safety monitor for my elderly father. It has functioned exactly as designed. It was amazingly helpful in helping to diagnose my father's seizures as the entire episode was captured on video. No drops, no issues with reception. Only suggestion for improvement would be the ability to control thr audio volume when speaking through the camera.

Absolutely horrible. The app refuses to work. I can't add any devices, once I try a button with text that isn't even aligned inside the button shows up and can't be clicked. Half the features in the app don't work, instead telling me to contact after sales. The only thing that does work is clearing the cache, so I'll give it one star for having an easily cleared cache.

This worked perfectly for a year. Now I cannot get the cloud storage to work. I factory reset the device and made a brand new account. Still when I go to cloud in the settings, there is nothing to click on to buy or renew it. 🤷‍♂️ I sent email to them. Didn't respond to the first one months ago. We will see now. Before this it was 5 stars. It's a great cam and works great otherwise.

Update: I'm not sure what changed, but over the past few days to a week the connection has been much better. It's now usable where before it wasn't. The only change I made is turned off the auto night vision to always color. Since then 9 out of 10 times it connects. 4 instead of 1 star now, there's still some issues to fix. (Old) App never wants to connect to camera, I have to close & reopen constantly to try and get it to connect. When it works it's good, it just never works. Aggravating!

Camera worked great with the app until I moved it to another room. Now it no longer will connect with the app. I've tried the reset button on the camera but still nothing. I've unistalled the app and reinstalled it but i just can't get it to hearing dripping sound or the voice prompts. The network is good there is no problem with it. I think its maybe an issue with the camera.

When my phone is connected to wifi it doesn't want to load the video . As well as I wish there was a way to minimize the video so you could still use your phone while watching the live feed. When I need to have the monitor on this app is the only thing I can have up and still watch my baby on the screen. Sometimes the video is very blurry and laggy but I don't know if it's the camera or the connection that is the problem

I've only had this camera and app for about a week. I use it as a baby monitor. The camera feed is very clear, even in night vision but there is a slight delay at times. The app lacks a bit. It seems there is a glitch in the scrolling of the motion and sound alarm setting because you can't set it for anything past 20:00. I haven't tried recording nor do I have the cloud set up to record so I can't pass opinion on that. I do like the feature of being able to talk through the camera via the app.

Most of the time this app will not send you notifications of motion detection which is the whole reason I bought this camera. You have to have the app open on your phone and running in the background for it to even notify you and even at that it's hit and miss, doesn't matter if push notifications, background data and everything else is on like a normal app. But otherwise the app is pretty decent, it records in 30 minute increments which are available for review through the app.

Only 3 stars for the fact I can keep an eye on my baby. I constantly have to restart the app for it to work. I keep the app updated and my WiFi connection is great. Just constantly doesn't load, freezes, or won't open. If I open the app with my phone rotated it moves my password to my username so that it appears on the screen...which is concerning. And also annoying because then I have to erase it all and type all my info back in which is what it is but seems like a bug in the app.

Many Errors. There used to be a settings area with a lot of options. This was also thebarea to set up recording to a cloud. But now it just shows an error webpage in its place. Glad I didnt buy the cloud storage. This makes my camera only useful for live viewing as it cannot do anything else.

I loved this app and found everything about it easy to use. But suddenly my notifications for motion aren't going off. No updates have occurred on my phone, and saving settings to receive notifications makes no difference. Up until this point, it was a solid 5 stars. But this sudden issue is a serious problem.

Worked and then nothing. Will not connect to App. I have reset it over 5 times. Left it on the shelf for 6 months.... came back to try it again. Same issue. Seems to be a software glitch. Camera quality ⭐⭐ Video ⭐⭐⭐ Voice ⭐ Connection ⭐⭐ Overall I would not buy it again. There seems to be no tech support available and this is a typical cheap product with cheap results. Always have the most current version. Very annoying. Now I have to uninstall/reinstall after 20 minutes. All the contact from the developer says to update app... that is worthless advice... make the app work!!Completely worthless. Cameras are good but the app is total junk. Worked great at first, but now the cameras freeze and aren't showing a live view while I'm watching them. I use it to watch my baby while he sleeps and I have to exit out and go back in to be able to see if he's moved or anything. It's annoying. I've updated the app, uninstalled and reinstalled. It does it on my phone and iPad. Disappointed.

Hardware seems to work just fine. The app is bad. (And up to date) Motion detection - This either gives you hundreds of alerts or none at all. I recommend either a summary alert or one alert until dismissed or reviewed. I can jump up and down in front of the camera and get nothing. Nothing gets recorded either. Recording - When recording works it's fine. The calendar of events and motion indicator are a great way to review. When it works. Not enough room for more. In short, look elsewhere.

I have sent a message to that email as suggested. The app is updated to the latest version. This app hasn't been updated since July 2, 2020. I already have it. I wouldn't Uninstaller and reinstall seeing that I get the same error in other devices on different operating systems. Can't add camera to my primary view. Local Search finds camera it wont let me change time zone and none of the settings features work on either of the two cameras.

Disgusted with this app. I will be looking for something else! DON'T waste your time. When this app works, it is worth it. When this app doesn't work, it is not worth your money. This app charges a very reasonable cloud fee of around $30 a year. Except, I have now paid TWICE for the same service because the app can't seem to access my files. Once, it "unbound itself" from my camera and no matter what I tried, it would not bind itself again. Now, I just paid for the year service and "oops, lookee there, it stopped recording as of the 20th of August." I cannot find the issue. I am tired of looking. Every single option I have looked at says nothing about the error I am getting about files not being found. I am going to file fraud charges with my bank on this one and get my money back.

This is probably the worst app I have ever attempted to use. In some configs I can choose options to save, leave then return only to find it didn't save. Other options remain greyed out and never load. Perhaps it isn't ready for prime time and needs a complete rewrite and thorough beta testing before releasing it into the public domain New comment: junked the app and the camera. Blink is a better option.

This thing is junk! After 2 years of crashing I've had enough. Time to get a real system! Unless you give a shady Chinese company full access to your phone info,EVERYTHING, the app will not work properly. I took the time to test by installing and nit giving access to my call logs but access to everything else. Guess what happened. Thats right, app didn't work right. You would loose the ability to pull a camera up even though you just had it up. They don't need my call logs! Done with this!

I uninstalled the app and removed the cameras to start over with the connection of them but now i cannot add them at all. It keeps saying web page failed when I click on Add Camera. UPDATE: I clicked on Clear Cache and it fixed the app. I don't know what that does but it fixed it. Haha

So, this worked great for a while on my Samsung 10plus Android, but now I cannot see the live feed. its a black screen. I can access it on my desktop, but not my phone when i need it most. Im really disappointed, so I had to order another type of camera, plus there are not supportive places to go. If i reinstall... i get what i need for a second, then the screen goes black again and the red dot in the upper right hand corner comes on. sad. i liked it when it worked.

It's slow and very hard to retrieve your recording from your SD card. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. Your microSD cards will be damaged and you won't be able to use it anywhere anymore. It won't be recognized by windows anymore. There's no way to format it. If it doesn't work for the next few weeks or no update fix. I will be trashing all 3 cameras. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY BRAND Update review: updated airways and still bad.

Camera is not bad, app on the other hand is beyond unstable, useless and a little sketchy. It requires permission to make and manage phone calls. Other than that the app is just clunky, half the functions do not work and cloud storage that you have to rent is a total scam. Avoid this product and find something that's actually worth your hard earned money!

Updated to try have more constructive comments. App has some core features that work and others that partially work. Viewing video, zooming and moving the camera work great. However video recording, replaying video and other featutes are lacking. It also requests permissions such as recording calls, recording audio, accessing files, etc which it seemingly has no need to access. Overall works decently well for my needs albeit frustrating at times.

The cloud storage advertisement is really annoying. It is moving and irritating. They really want you to buy it. The hardware is not bad. Addendum: the developers suggested to download the update. That did not solve the ad issue. The reply to my original review seemed more like an unfounded PR move rather than an actual solution. I looked at other reviews and some have the same answer. Also, the feed can stop requiring restarting the app. The location of the alarm button is so inconvenient.

One of the most unstable apps I've used. I bought this product for a live video feed but it often crashes and stuck with a 0kB connection. I have tried 2 different routers and my download speed is around 100 mbps. All of my other devices and apps work just fine. Nothing like waking up in the middle of the night with your baby monitor frozen. Spend your money elsewhere.

The only thing this app can do well is show the video feed. Sound on the video only works half the time. The app software is badly designed and not user friendly. It did not meet my expectations. The video camera showed up with half it accessories missing, was suppose to have a clip stand and sim card.

Update. Have used this app for a year and it is not working as well for me as it was. When an alarm happens and I tap on the notification, it now opens the gallery and not the camera having an alarm. When I turn off the motion detection and save the change the alarm will still show. Setting the sliders to zero is the only way to turn off motion detection. And the most problematic is when motion is detected there is no sound with the alarm, just vibration. I will update when issues are fixe

Update: camera's motion sensor seems to work a lot better since I moved it away from the view of daylight coming from a window ( I think it was picking up floaty dust as motion ). I also haven't had any more issues with it randomly crashing, and the time and dates haven't gotten out of sync since back when I complained about it. The only thing I'm not sure about is their cloud storage, as I haven't tried it since last year ( it was horrible back then, but it might be better now ).

I have 3 cameras that will no longer connect to the wireless router. Nothing happened, just won't connect anymore. Show up as offline. I've tried reconfiguring. I've tried removing the device and re-adding them as new devices, but get the same notification when trying to connect. So frustrating!! Now I have 3 cameras that are basically useless and I don't trust the same thing isn't going to happen to the remaining cameras.

Works splendidly! The motion tracking is great side-to-side, but not up and down. Audio quality is good, speaker is decent. For the security aspect of it, one suggestion I would have is an "Arm/Disarm" feature as a widget button, so you could turn on the intruder alarm feature/notifications easily as you leave home; the scheduled detection alerts don't work well for variable work schedules. I received a product of high quality relative to the price.

I've had this app for a camera for about 2 yrs. Initially it was good now although it seems to be offline every time I try to look & have to reconnect. I can adjust any setting or leave any feedback in the app itself. Every thing is under maintenance when I go look. Frustrating need fixing!

It wants permission to make and manage phone calls among other things - that doesn't seem necessary, but if it is then at least have something somewhere that explains that. I denied access - is that why? If so, state that SOMEWHERE please. Also, there's no way to connect to WiFi with WPS?? I'm giving up and returning this camera for one that doesn't use this app.

It works, but.... I have used these cameras and this app for 4 years. The app is pretty bare bones, but i have always had it work fine. The picture is clear and it is easy enough to use. The cameras were pretty cheap, so what do you expect? You can also skip the app and just sign in on the website, which was helpful when i had a windows phone. My biggest annoyance is that the app saves a million thumbnail images on my phone that are not movable to the sd card, so it takes up a lot of memory.

Works 60% of the time. It lags when I turn it to look around. It kicks me out sometimes just because. It stops working for a day or three and says it's my internet connection even though it was just working a minute ago and my connection is still strong. It's just a frustrating product but when it works, it's a camera.

I've been using your app for like a decade ,and only in the last couple years has it been updated to work better to some point, but it's useless when I can't find specifics,, my recommendation to all People, before you buy a security camera system check the app they use and see if it works. So like the others, it wont update or add new devices with my android, when you hit the "+" in the top corner, but i was able to add a device with my iPad generation 2. And it appears to be working fine. I do not update the app when it advises so maybe thats why i dont have any connection issues. But still. You need to fix this esp if they are still selling cameras that use it. Its just bad business. Overall Ive had no issues. I will update the star rating once its been fixed.

This app worked great for 3 years and then today it stopped working as the other person mentioned. I can log in and see my camera on the small screen but I can't open it the app just crashes. I made sure there were no updates for the app I even tried the beta mode which didn't help. And my phone is also up to date.

The app is automatically using my storage to store clips on my phone even though I don't have that feature turned on (I can't even find where it's an actual feature). When I disable storage permissions, the app no longer functions. Huge disappointment, will be returning the camera and not use the app unless someone can help

The camera works great, and the app has a lot of features, but a recent update has forced the use of something called Smart Cloud Camera, which constantly nags for new "password and personality settings". I don't know if this is a trojan horse for a different app, or something forced cloud service that I didn't subscribe to. There doesn't appear to be any way to disable it, and the nag screens just won't go away. I am using the latest version of the app on my phone and tablet.

I would like to see the swiping motion for moving the camera flipped so when I swipe left the camera pans left, and when I swipe right the camera pans right. Same for up and down, right now that camera moves opposite of my swipe motions. The only other hiccup i have discovered is with setting the times for the various detections. I would like to have them start at 21:00 and stop at 06:00. But when i try to save that I get an error that the End time can not be earlier than the start time.

This is just what I was looking for. I bought the LEFUN video camera to help us remotely monitor our special needs son when necessary. It has worked very well. I love that it pans, tilts and zooms. I've relocated it several times and had no issues with reconnecting. it was very easy. I wish the notifications could be adjusted more, but at least it has them. So far, very happy.

I recently purchased a Lefun camera system. Reviews were positive but the associated app, MIPC is a dud. At the moment, the app connects half of the time. The other half, "camera not available." A 50% success rate is poor, especially if you need to use it 24/7 for care. The other issue I've encountered is the app's struggle to save updates or changes. Additionally, the notification alarm is broken, I would love to start receiving notices at 11pm and end at 6am but the app will not comply.

Camera is great. App works okay. I use it as a baby monitor, but the camera timing out isn't ideal. Plus, it's very easy to accidentally hit the alarm button, which causes a really really loud alarm to go off - not something a parent wants going off in a baby's room in the middle of the night!! I can't find a way to indefinitely disable the alarm, either. The app is spotty when used with the Alexa, as well. Mostly just buffers. Now it won't work with my Alexa at all.

The camera is great. Easy to set up. Great picture. Unfortunately the notification feature continues to stop working. I deleted the App and then reloaded it. The feature started working again. A few days later it stopped working again. I have updated to the latest version and it didn't help either.

Keeps freezing up when I bring the app out of background. Like it doesnt refresh unless I exit out to the login screen. Could I possibly get a select all videos paired with a batch download option to make it easier/quicker to create local copies. And... I cant get the http frontend to work; the menus are fine for now. The video feed never populates the frame, nor does the history or recorded videos. Downloading via this approach also comes with no result. Opening an api would be nice too!

Every other video I record is saved only as an image, which is frustrating because I lose half my videos. Otherwise it works as expected. I am also knocking off another star because the user interface is initially difficult to navigate and takes a while to get used to

Terrible app! Worthless! All of the functions that you would want in an app like this (like setting notifications, motion detection, recording video, 2-way audio) DO NOT WORK!! And to make the app even worse, everything is in broken English so you have to try to decipher what the creator was trying to to say in order to use it. It might as well be in a different language. I will be searching for another app that is compatible with my device...and so should anyone reading this.

It's not updating throughout the day and is recording when there is motion. Also isn't recording when there is motion. I have only had this for 4 days. Latest version updated too. The picture is clear and I can see live when I check in the app, so I know the wifi isn't messing up.

The APP is absolute garbage and completely non-functional on Apple products. It was working on an IPAD 2 (spotty, at that) until the last update, and now it crashes immediately when clicking on the app. Tried downloading the Mac version from the website on my Macbook Pro and same thing, NOTHING. On our Androids, freezes up often, but at the very least, we can get a picture.

Works as described, I thought it would be better. I think the notifications should have a time stamp and the history of them be viewable. Among other things. a way to review stored footage at adjustable speeds would be nice. A great app as a monitor and easy to use.

This app is HORRIBLE!? It records video & snapshots even when there is no motion. IF the app is open I'll get 10 "alerts" for motion in 2 minutes eventhough everyone is gone & I'm in another room (no pets either). At the end of the day, I'll have 15 or more videos, all close to 30 minutes in length. None showing any motion. Deleting them is also a pain because it must be done one at a time. On the positive side, clear picture, & I like that I can move the camera through the app.

AWFUL APP, AWESOME CAMERA. This product has so much potential but the app that is required to use it- is terrible. Consistently says connection unavailable. Send off diagnostics like it prompts and still nothing. The camera itself is awesome. It swivels, the picture is so clear, only lags about a half a second. But it's useless with a non functioning app.

Ugh. Every time there is an update or an interruption in power, the stupid app "forgets" my camera. Then the sequence to set up again is basically an hour long guessing game and then, for no apparent reason, it just "snaps to" and recalls my camera. Hate this app and wish I'd gone with a different camera. It tries to force an upsale to cloud storage so watch out!

False alarms most of the time when you don't want. But when you try testing it by moving it doesn't give alarm at times. There is no option to send email on alarms via SMTP. But the video quality is good, along with remote camera swivel option using app.

At first it was what I needed. Now it doesn't even tell me if there is movement (I've tested this myself), no recording, no notification. Now I only know they have come in when I get home and have a note on my door saying as much. Not to mention, the time is messed up...once you open the option to choose a time to notify or record you can't go to 24 hrs..only goes to 21 because of some odd glitch. Updated reply: "Feedback" feature doesn't work either. So there's that.

the app is horrible. either unable to connect or it goes in/out. not my connect - have full bars and/or on wifi. the video freezes and the sound also goes in/ out. per comment above, tried to send "feedback" to no avail. the feedback function is being maintained, please contact after sales. Worked fine when I first got it last year. Now I can't add devices, can't open the settings tab within the individual cameras, can't update the firmware on the cameras, and can't report any issues within the app because that button doesn't work either. One of the worst apps ever. Motion detection is awful. I'll get a lot of false alarms when I'm not home and then when I try to test the motion by moving in front of the camera, I get no notifications on my phone. I bought the camera mostly for the motion detection and it doesn't work properly.

The motion detection needs a lot of work. The camera is installed at a cabin. I have the sensitivity set to 40. Every time there is blowing snow or rain I get dozens of alerts and have to turn motion detection off till the bad weather is over. The app needs to learn how to recognize relavent shapes i.e. people. Also the continuous GIANT ad for cloud storage is very annoying.

Notifications won't turn on...have made sure every setting on my phone allows it, every time I choose to enable one, it remains turned off. Camera isn't much use to me if I have to be actively watching it whenever I'm away to make sure things are all right. Update: I reinstalled the app, and got things working. So far, so good. The app does not function, I connected through the cable and modem and can't go into the app to adjust the settings for wi-fi. The settings button has a red dot and it doesn't work when clicked. App tells me to update, I click yes and nothing. I've tried everything, so frustrated.

The new update made the app useless. I had no problems before but now it crashes a lot. I am no longer able to access settings when I press the button nothing happens so I have not been able to adjust my settings for motion detection nor update to new firmware update. I am not sure if the new display in the button FIRST USE FEATURE PREPARATION which doesn't do anything if you press it has anything to do with the application not working perfectly like before. The webpage works fine.

I think overall the app is good, but there are 3 major issues. 1) Clicking on notification does not open the live stream 2) The ability to ring a bell remotely is not shown consistently. Now I dont see it at all. 3) There are false calls on motion detection. Also wish UI was polished a little bit. Too old school UI elements instead of new modern design patterns and there are available. Invest more in design.

My app says I need to update it every single time I open it. I hit yes & nothing happens. I have a red dot on my settings button, and when I hit it nothing happens. The camera us clear & can speak to whomever is in the room, but I NEVER receive alarms or notifications of movements. I bought this for the alarm!! I'm a bit frustrated.

The camera is great, the app that controls it... not so much. Home screen didn't work at all on my phone so I had to set it up using my iPad. Finally got everything set up but now the app won't open using wifi (2 or 5g). I can get past the home screen on my phone now, but it doesn't do me much good if the only way I can view the video feed is with cell data.

I set up the camera then decided to move it so I unplugged. Plugged back in and had to set it up all again. Okay, annoying but no big deal. Installed again and then was prompted to upgrade the app. Okay, I upgraded the app. I was prompted to reconfigure the device again. Was prompted to enter my password. Okay I entered my password and was prompted to reconfigure the device. Okay. Came back to edit this. Went from two to four stars after the headache installation. Running smoothly now.

Terrible interface. The initial set up was easy because the app understood we are a new customer. Later the camera no longer connected so I performed a factory reset. Thereafter, we attempted to add the camera again through the app - no luck. The only message we see is "First Use Preparation". ... that process or feature doesn't exist. We can no longer use the camera.

Constantly offline, it's really hard to watch your baby when the device seldomly works. And I don't want to risk going in the room to hard reset the power. Very frustrating. The app is about a second delayed on audio, but the video matches up. Cloud storage costs money, but only holds a 32mb memory card. The video quality looks good, and it's very easy to pan the camera.

Very poor. App stopped working. I downloaded the update and now it errors and closes. I am no longer able to see the live feed on my android unless I am practically standing right next to the camera. It also gives me an error page/file not found. I can't turn off cloud storage either - it no longer gives me that option. It says it is gathering diagnostic information and sending it in but I see no evidence of that. The problems still persist.

Use this app all the time. Typically have no problem at all. My only real issue (it may be my own incompetence) is if I press the record button, the recording says saved to my album. When I open the folder it's only a single photo although I recorded a 30 second or 2 minute video. It doesn't save to the installed sd card at all, only my phones memory which is fine but still only a photo. Other than that the motion activation, night vision and everything else works as expected.

The app is super slow, crashes quite often, and the camera settings are never working properly. I'll select to have notifications, save it, and then it will say the notifications are off. I'll reset the camera and try again and nothing. I bought the cloud storage to save the videos, and it keeps saying failed to upload. I tried to contact support so we will see what happens. I tried to give feedback for weeks now, but its "under maintenance." Seems like a fake app but it's not.

The app setting page is giving a HTML error. Now I cant see my setting page on any of my cameras. Everytime I go into setting even after reinstalling the app I still can't get to my setting for each camera. Please help. Update 12/11/19 I spoke to developers and they wanted me to update to the latest build and there was one I missed. I updated the app on my phone and the setting are now accessible on my phone. Update: I started Having lots of problems with the app,I think it was after the last update. the video would not open to a half screen or rotate - just a black screen. After a couple weeks of frustration, I uninstalled with the intent to redownload & see if that would resolve the issues. Reinstalled & it worked for a short time, now its back to the black screen of course while Im out of town & really need it. Ugh!

Extremely unreliable app. It crashes saying network error and once it starts, it continues to do so many times. None of my other devices experience an outage at the same time. Response to kugle: Thank you for your standard response that you will give everyone. I'll update the app as soon as you push out an update. My apps are always up-to-date, so your response is literally useless.

This is like a partially built app, nothing works. The camera doesn't come up when I select the + to connect to a new device. I can connect locally, but that's pointless, why would I want to watch a live video of my one bedroom apartment while I'm inside it? The point was to keep an eye on my dog while I'm out. I just downloaded the app so it's the most updated version. I'm guessing I will get the same response everyone else has gotten, saying to download the newest version of the app.

First and foremost, this app is not functional for using the QR code on my Pixel 3. Everything seems to work until I hit the + symbol to add a new device. Once I do this a couple of icons pop up in what seems like a broken attempt to boot a new prompt. I can still identify a device locally but this can only be done if I'm within a few feet of the actual camara. iOS seems to work fine as my wife had no problems getting hers setup on her iPhone 8.

Cameras constantly fail even after upgrading the software. I purchased 3 cameras several months ago and they caused nothing but a bunch of headaches. I highly recommend you not waste your money or time on a product that's unreliable. Having that reassurance of seeing my love one at any time is important to me. Out to find a better camera!!!

Decent app though there is some lag in the camera panning and tilting. But since the recent update pixel count def. cannot be moved from the screen. the definition of the camera. it always says 720P on the screen and it blocks out and covers up what you are trying to surveil.

Camera works well I liked the different settings and vid/pic formats . Had issues in the beginning, those were fixed by resetting the app & device. I needed it to follow the motion rather than staying in one spot, don't like having to manually move it. After the update I lost all settings options. They are no longer visible so I'm unable to change record setting. I can't program it to not record, so it record every 30 seconds & takes various photos. Wish I could delete multiple things at once.

So far so good! If i may make one important suggestion, it would be to allow deleting multiple videos or snapshots at the same time from the app (or even just a day of files at a time). I went to the "select all" tab but it appears to be more of a "view all" tab only where both videos and snapshots are shown in one place. It would be ideal to not have to move the memory card to the computer to easily and quickly delete videos. Otherwise, the app has been working great for me!

Not great. The app is fully up to date and constantly freezes up. It will freeze on a still shot so if your not careful you think it's just your baby sleeping not a frozen frame of them from earlier. It also regularly kicks me out which means fumbling around in the middle of the night half asleep trying to get the damn thing to work. Camera works, app does not. I wish they let you use other apps with the product bc the app makes the whole camera pretty useless.

Would be nice of the app could remember my wifi info! We'r do have slow wifi at or home which isn't anything to do with the app..... but when I lose connection and have to reconfigure its incredibly annoying that out will not remember the wifi and I have to re-enter the ridiculous preset password and set up a new password for the device. Not a huge fan!

I have the same problem as the previous. Cloud advertisement appeared when I checked the camera. Made the picture smaller. When you try to enlarge picture it says app will exit due to some problems. The camera was working perfectly prior to this. I was impressed with the picture quality and the features for such a reasonable price. How do you fix this issue. The recorded motion events can still be enlarged.

This app has been just ok since I bought two cameras. Now it is not working at all and the response from developer is update the app. That is all I see over and over again and it doesn't seem to be relevant to the problem because no one is saying it worked. I am already updated to latest. Instead of copy & pasting a non-working suggestion how about fixing this! or we should all research a different app that will function with these cams. Does anyone already know a good alternative to this poorly supported app?

So far not happy with this app. The camera works great - WHEN it works. But usually it does not! When app & camera connect the picture & sound are clear. But most of the time I get the black screen and a timeout message. Restarted the device numerous times, removed & reinstalled the app. The connection works for a short time but then stops again. The panning is spotty & laggy, too. I spend more time dinking around with this thing than actually using it! When I need the thing it doesn't work.

This app has not been working properly the last few days. The refresh option keeps well refreshing and wont stop. I have to close the app then reopen it and then it sometimes allows me to see the multi views of all my cameras. This is where the real problem lies, the individual camera screens are completely blank when I click in them. Black, no audio and no picture. I even downloaded the Vimtag app and this does the EXACT same thing. So now both the Mipc and Vimtag app are completely broken!

After updating with new firmware that I was promoted to do, the video play no longer works it's just a black screen and says video play failed. I've restarted my android, restarted the camera, uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone, removed the device and added it again. I don't know what else to do. I use the app every night, well I did. The camera is no use to me unless I can use the live feed. *I had to reset the camera itself and reinstall everything. It works for the moment.

Absolutely terrible. Reliability is the purpose of having an in-home system, but this app completely sucks balls.

2 weeks works fine! Now I can't even change settings bc the screen is just blank when I select settings. The camera is pretty good but the app is horrible! What good is the camera without the app though! I've already tried restarting phone and uninstalling/reinstalling the app! I realize there is a PC connection also but, it won't let me load and format an sd card!!! Smh!!!! Problem has been corrected, camera is great, I am just not really confident in the app so far.

The settings button crashes the app every time and it keeps telling me my time zone doesn't match what is on my phone but it the time zone is exactly the same yet I still have this red bar going across my screen. Not sure why you would put a red bar across the screen that I'm trying to view. Make it a notification or something. Don't block my camera view for something as miniscule as a time zone. Who cares if the time zones match even though in my case they do match

Update: a recent update (August 2019) makes connecting to our to cameras WAY faster! Seems less buggy. Fewer crashes. Decent app. Buggy and a pain at times, but pretty solid and feature-rich in general. Recent update (march 2019ish) indeed messed up the zoom as others have said (fixed on latest update, 15-Apr-19). Crashes regularly. Have to close and re-open frequently to get it to connect to cameras (we have 2) at times. I deal with these problems since they aren't absolute deal breakers.

Recording to the SD card doesn't work at all and I tried recording locally and it said it was recording, but the video file was for 1 second. Most worthless app and camera ever. Good so far EXCEPT, my red indicator light is on all the time. It makes me feel like someone is watching me. Seriously considering returning it because of this. The settings that I've selected don't work either. Doesn't make a sound when it turns on, like it should. Indicator light is constantly on. My motor detection doesn't work. 🤦

When setting up the camera, the camera connects to "Wifi" and then "Server." Originally, when I bought the first camera, the camera would connect to the router / wifi. After the second camera, the camera also connects to a "server." I can understand wifi, but to what "server" and why?

Ads!!!! I had to delete the app. My phone was bombarded with ads. I could not send a single text or use my phone more than few seconds without them popping up. It took me a couple of weeks to figure out it was this app. Will have to send my two cameras back if there is no alternative. My sanity is not worth it.

after a while there is so much lag that you dont know if you are controlling the camera or not. I have the most recent update on this app but to no avail. the camera is great but its response isnt. for the 1st month, it worked great with the app and smooth. had quick response but now it doesnt. the camera doesnt move and when it does, it takes about 3 minutes to do so. eh. what can you do? I unplugged it and reconnected and it helped a little. network I use is great. it's the camera

cameras work great. the app sucks (and yes, I have the LATEST version). I wanted to get the cloud storage...which I ordered successfully on one camera but when I try to order on the 2nd camera, the app just freezes. I have force stopped it, reinstalled, check my own phone for it's own separate updates...nothing. the app is just hit or miss sadly and customer service is a joke.

Works great. Lost 2 stars due to the fact that I get bombarded with motion detection alerts. Don't get me wrong I like it, I just would like a setting that allows me to set how many minutes apart to get alerted or schedule which time of day I would like to be notified. I get 60 notifications in 60 seconds all because my baby was moving a finger while sleeping.

Setup with my Nexus 6 was easy and seemless. Camera had a firmware update upon startup so I updated it. It restarted and connected to my phone perfectly. 2 way audio is clear and the panning features work amazingly well, very responsive. Image is clear and the auto feature changes quickly to set into nightmode on its own. I couldnt be more satisfied! I'm very impressed!

update: I have updated, uninstalled, reinstalled the App multiple times. I sent multiple messages. no help. I've had these cameras for years. never a problem until recently. all my cameras went offline. I tried reinstalling, updating, factory reset and even had someone come check my wifi signals and I still cannot get the cameras to connect. I emailed your tech support 2 weeks ago with no response back. how can we fix this? in the last 3 years this is the first time we have had a problem. HELP!!!

This app was awesome. I could go back and watch videos easily. But some time in the past week, I could only select multiple recorded videos... With no option to actually do anything. I could no longer go back and watch the footage and that defeated the purpose. To fix, I had to erase all of my footage and reset the device. I don't trust it as much as I used to, and in the future I'll probably go with something more stable if it means more expensive.

*update* I was able to get this fixed by doing a hardline straight to the router and then putting in the WiFi information and doing the updates. ****************************************************** 1st one works great, got three more but cannot get them to connect to the WiFi. Tried all three and even took one and sat it on the router, put my phone speaker on the Mic, and blasted it. Still had nothing. If there is a later version of this app that fixes that I haven't found it.

I used to love the app but now I cant even use any part of it. Camera used to work fine. I noticed it occasionally would take a picture and cache it by itself which was a little freaky but the camera itself and the speaker function did an adequate job. Suddenly I realized that it wasn't working after the last update. I reinstalled it but still can't log on.

This app is infuriating in some ways. I tried correcting the time zone on my PC web browser. However, now there is an annoying error on top of the screen any time we view the camera display and the time zone is STILL incorrect. This makes scheduling recordings a pain. I have tried several times to correct the time using the app to no avail. It's a shame though since the actual hardware and video quality are great.

It works pretty well. Like the autologin capability. Needs to be a little more responsive however. The panning is backwards IMO when trying to move the camera. My major recommendation would be the change the Press to Speak button to be a small button on the side of the screen, not overlay on the middle of the screen, we can't see thru it very well. Other than that, it serves its purpose fairly well.

camera works well for the most part. however the motion detection alarm/notification stopped working six days ago. after checking notification settings, restarting phone, resetting camera still can't get notifications to work. since the alarms were what i wanted this makes the app and camera nearly useless to me. camera still records upon motion detection but no notifications are sent.....

Do not buy or use. The cameras that link to this service work nice at first but as others note, usually after about 4 - 6 months something goes wrong and you're out of luck. For me, the camera had a firmware update 3 months ago. The update failed and rendered the camera completely inoperable. The only way to fix is by factory reset ... which can't be done without accessing the camera, which is offline. I've contacted support frequently since, and never received a response. DON'T BUY.

Works well enough, but has flaws. It will capture pictures automatically from time to time and save them on a cache; kind of creepy. Since it is not CCTV, feeds will sometimes not work(video playback failed). Sometimes this app needs to be uninstalled/reinstalled to work. If more than one device is looking at the same feed, it slows down exponentially. Occasionally it will say that the camera is offline even though it is plugged in and running. Still, for the most part it gets the job done.

This app is very unreliable. Right now I can select files for playback but the actual playback fails. I've formatted the SD, reset the camera, and reinstalled the app but it still doesn't work. The design of the GUI is also crude. This software needs a complete overhaul from the bottom up.

When this app works, we like using this system and camera. But with no rhyme or reason, you are unable to log in. The only way to get back into the app is to uninstall it and reinstall it. I have owned this for 4 months and have had to do this about 30 times now. That part is annoying. We also noticed you can't save your recorded videos on your phone. Only in the app itself, not grand if you need to share the video elsewhere. Also doesn't work if you are on certain strength WiFi, must use data.

gave one star because "bought and try to sign up. Cannot get select the password box to create a password." there was an update and I was able to set everything up. there were still some kinks setting it up (app froze at connecting to wifi and setting up time zone) but pressing the back button and redoing the info works. camera is great, app is great.

This app only works some of the time. I have had to uninstall and reinstall it several times as it frequently will get stuck on the 'loading video' screen. Everytime there is an update, it seems that something else breaks. Right now the app will show the tiny monitor snapshot, but not the full screen video. This does NOT work as a baby monitor. If it does not get fixed soon, i will probably have to find a different monitor and app.

Bought this camera to keep an eye on my elderly father. The motion alert was the main reason along with all the positive reviews on Amazon. this has been the most convoluted set up ever. it's 2019 and this is the best we can do. the app is buggy. the PC version is marginally better. the settings don't stay saved. it alerted me to motion a few times when i first set it up. I don't know why it has good reviews on Amazon but I'm sending it back soon if things don't change. i was in real need of it

I've used this camera and app to watch my dog for over 3 months. It worked well until recently. Recent hardware update really made the camera less reliable. Now I'm having video quality issues, higher latency, and overall nonresponsive control issues. I hope this gets updated for the better in the future, otherwise I may be returning my device and finding an alternative.

convenient, small, discreet, good video and audio quality. HOWEVER. I can't watch, send or access any of the video I've saved. it force closes the app every single time i try - which has been probably about 30 times. frustrating. heaven forbid something happen to my child and i want to use that video as evidence or identification, i can't access it.

Works fine when it works but most often does not work, won't log in. Update. Finally uninstalled the app as it had become useless (would no log in at all) but took a chance and reinstalled. To my surprise, the app had been completely updated and is working perfectly. Yes the response from author suggested an update but update not avilable, had to uninstall/reinstall. Begs the question as to why the update was not automatic?

While the picture is great and the sound and mic are fine for the price, the software itself is horribly unreliable. I have to uninstall and reinstall at least 2-3 times every day, because it either has infinite loading time, says playback has failed no matter how many times I close and reboot, or simply will not log me in. As soon as I uninstall and reinstall, it is back up and working, but only for a while before one of those issues pops up again. Very frustrating.

I can't add the second device. There is no (+) option in my app to do so. Connection and set up is already time consuming and frustrating enough. If I can at least just get an add button to add second device I would rate this app better, otherwise no other concerns, camera seems to respond ok while using manual functions via app.

so far it has been good. i only had 1 issue and that was that i coudnt login for some reason.... but after scrolling down the comments section i saw someone else having the same issue and he deleted the app and reinstalled it... i did the same and havent had no issue since. the resolution is very good as well as the microphone/speaker. i like the fact that i can pull up the app and control the camera (up,down,left and right movement).

APP DOESN'T WORK!!! Unable to get the device added, app keeps crashing. Tells me to connect to WiFi and then says it encountered a problem and crashes. When trying to add without WiFi it doesn't let me proceed. Can't even get a response from the developer. Going to return if issue isn't addressed in the next couple of days. UGH!!!! HATE HATE HATE!!!!!!!!!!!

Same issues as many other people....worked great up until a month ago and now unable to add device or connect to wifi. I also tried shutting wifi off on phone but it only lets you get to the step where you have to turn it back on and app shuts down. Also sent several emails and haven't gotten any response. Wow! Someone f'd up a decent app and apparently can't figure out how to fix it.

we've pretty much always had connection issues and aren't able to use any other app and that sucks! this new update has made our one camera useless. it will not connect to the wifi anymore so I'm unable to watch our baby which is really upsetting seeing as we paid around $100 for each camera. you can zoom in still but the screen is now small and can only pan left and right. I can't even complain to support because it freezes when I try to send anything!!! please fix the issues!

Everytime I click the "+" icon to add a device the app says it encountered problems and exits... over and over. I finally try to add it via Ethernet and it adds... then it prompts for an update... once you update, the camera turns off and no longer works. Also-the instructions and interface are in broken English... the grammar is horrid and hard to understand at times.

Horrible beyond words. As others have noted, you have to get off WiFi for the app to work. Then you can connect the camera. But to connect the camera to your network you have to have WiFi working on your phone. Then the app crashes. I don't have time for this and don't want to reward shoddy development with my purchase. Returned the camera and uninstalled the app.

the app always recommends the upgrade but the upgrade only makes it worse. at the moment, I'm on vacation and need to reinstall the camera. the app won't let me complete more than 2 functions before it closes out. using a different phone, i can do more than 2 functions but it won't complete the process. biggest pain in the neck. however, the picture is clear and i like that it's not bulky. do better on the software!!!

Used to be wonderful. Now I can't log in at all from my phone. This is the 2nd camera I have purchased because I could no longer use the first after I moved and could never log in again. Multiple times of deleting and reinstalling the app to no avail. Password and username have not changed. Dont waste your time when there are similar products out there with similar price points without as many problems

I've had this for about a year and it mostly worked fine until about 2 months ago it just disconnected. I am trying to reconfigure it and it doesnt connect to the 2.4 wifi. I then tried the ethernet cable and that works, but when It prompts to connect/search for wifi networks it cannot find any. it doesnt find any wifi, when my phone and laptop can. I am very disappointed with this.

App used to be awesome. Now it will nolonger connects to 2.4 Wi-Fi. I used to rely on this to watch over my infant child. Now it's completely unreliable. Whoever is in charge of this app has either moved on, doesn't care, or both. Sorry to all who purchased the cameras. Return them if you can.

The app always forgets my password and locks me out. It's also unstable and even though the camera is hardwired it always has to be reset. I got this to monitor my disabled grandson and this is not reliable at all. Every time it needs an upgrade it locks me out, I have to reset my password then when I get back in it prompts for an upgrade.

This camera is amazing for its user interface, very easy to set it up and the extensive functionality it comes with— it is just amazing and so easy to operate at the click of button. If you have a good WiFi connection, try auto cruising and motion tracking. Just awesome!!

A really good system and the cloud account is great for storing events. I’ve had the system for almost one year and have been impressed. You can set motion zones, and turn on notifications for a single camera or any number of cameras in your system. Camera firmware updates are rare, but easy to update when available.

I just opened the box and set up my camera… I am very impressed with what I have experienced so far… I have been able to look up some tutorials on the Internet to troubleshoot any problems or answer any questions that I have… My only criticism so far is that the alerts are a bit delayed... say by 30 or 40 seconds… I understand that the team is working on this..

I thought the camera and app would be of moderate quality considering how affordable the cameras were. But I’m blown away by the quality of both the camera and app! They work right out of the box and the app has so many features, I’m shocked. Only one request so far: the ability to swipe left/right to see other cameras (either in full screen or portrait mode).

Do not waste your money or time with this "App". Your camera will very likely work fine upon initial set-up, however if you decide to move the camera & set-up it again in a different location, the App for some reason does not recognize the device (camera). Very frustrating... Then if you want a customer service number to call or an email for tech support, there's nothing available?? The App interface is poorly set-up: the App pages do not properly & simply communicate basic, simple information to the lay-user. Moreover, the written descriptions are clearly composed by someone (or persons) whose first langauge is not English. Company must be losing a great deal of money because of poor communication. I just sent my new camera back through Amazon because of this sub-standard App. Thank goodness for Amazon's great return policies.

Total piece of junk. I have installed ALOT of cheap cameras and tried tons of smart devices this is NOT a smart device. Tried the set up process 6 times in 2 different rooms. Tried it connected with ethernet cable and on 2 different wifi routers. It failed over and over. But you get to hear 2 minutes of random beeping just for it to fail then again and again... I would not keep this device if I paid 5.00 and it cost 4.99 to ship it back..

Playback straight up doesn't work on any platform. Not in the web client, the desktop client, nor this app. If you try to remove the SD Card and plug it into a computer, Windows cannot read it without formatting. Makes it useless unless you want to live view. And even then, the internals of the camera put out a loud noise meaning you cannot record audio.

I think the camera itself is great. But the app seems to have a lot of flaws. When I first got it there was no issues whatsoever. And in the last month when I try to view the camera. The app will says loading and just spins gor a long period of time. And does nothing. In the last week when we try to view it shows the camera with a line through it. We tried everything to reset it and nothing is working. I tried emailing support but haven't got a reply.

I just installed two cameras and I am very impressed with the results! The quality of the picture and sound are excellent. The APP works very well. manuals could be improved. The installation was a little rough. Once I got the account set up it went smoothly. I am not sure if the difficulty down loading the app and setting up the account was me, the manual or the software. A user manual would be helpful. There may be one but I have not found it. Fortunately the software is intuitive but a manual would be helpful to first time users. It has many features and I am not sure I have discovered all of them. These are minor suggestions compared to the overall quality of the product. It is obvious a lot of thought, creativity and expertise went in to the design. Excellent!

So I don't do reviews... But over all I'm please with the quality of the camera and the night feature is great! And as far as the app for what I think it's main intention was for its great, I'd like to ask a request and see if this could be possible. Would you be able to make the sound run in the background like other apps do for music. This would make this app even more amazing as I'm trying to open use the camera as a baby monitor. And always have my phone on me. It would be really great and very very useful! Thanks in advance! Liking the hardware so far! Definitely see potential in the app!!

Great app and great cameras. App is user friendly and directions are easy to follow. The cameras and microphone are great quality. There’s a slight delay in the notification when there is motion detected, however the great thing is that it records a few seconds of it and shows up right on your app.
