The app shuts down every time when trying to use the zoom feature. The fabric photos rarely identify the size of the pattern by utilizing a ruler in the image. Fabric weight and texture isn't described, so it's best to view on the website where a zoom view can be expanded. Basically, the app isn't worth the time and frustration. I only use it to display coupons in store, but truthfully even emails have that same option.
It has had issues the last two weeks. It won't show the pics when I open an item and when I try to zoom on an item, it closes. I've tried to place on line orders and it fails and tells me my information has fail for a variety of reasons. Has also had issues with Java and confirming I'm human. Very disappointed. I use it often. ☹️
This app is now pretty much useless! If you zoom in on a picture, it closes the app. I just made an online purchase with a coupon and when I submitted it, the coupon was removed and its charging my card the full price. Needless to say, I will be canceling that order that took me an hour to finalize because it had 16 items chosen so I've wasted my time. Im so done with Joanns!!! Its the only retail establishment thats pricing is completely different when you check out either online or store
The changes, updates made it worse. My shopping cart says I have items yet I cannot purchase them or clear the cart. Coupons rarely pull up and there are glitches, so you have to try to pull them up again as other customers are waiting for you to finish your transactions. I have missed out on my last three earned rewards because they would not pull up. Also what happened to birthday rewards? It also sends you to this site for a $5 coupon. No coupon to be found, just rate thus app. 😕
This app has always been bad for different reasons but it's been the worst as of lately. I cant see the items in my cart and for some reason even though I chose to pick up at the store it changes it to shipping. I can't even try to change that due to the fact that you can see the items in your cart. If it isn't one thing with this app it's another. The scanner has never worked either to look up the items and now the price scanners at the stores are no longer available. This app is just horrible.
the app design is clean and simple. the absolute best for consumers as far as shopping (online and in-store) is the streamlined access to coupons and rewards! with the coupons - any day of the year - there is something for everyone. my biggest in-store SAVINGS so far has been $327 on a total purchase amount of <$185! **** my reason for rating four stars is the slooow speed when browsing - sometimes I feel like I'm using dial up lol
Horrible update. It's been two or three weeks and no one has fixed the bugs. Pics don't load and if they do it takes longer than necessary. Don't tap on the pic or enlarge the pic because it kicks you completely out of the app. Tap on coupons and it tells you they are experiencing problems but it tells you that you can still continue to shop but what's the point if you can't see or use the coupons. To receive and use coupons you have to download the app. The app that doesn't work properly.
The pictures of items are blank half the time. The app freezes and glitches when interacting with the shopping cart. Crashes all the time. Overall it's interesting to see their potential stock but the app doesn't work well enough to use it to purchase anything.
No longer functional. I've used this app for a long time and for the past couple of weeks it has not been working. Coupons won't apply, my shopping cart will appear empty even though items have been added, etc. I did try the upgrade which was supposed to solve these issues but unfortunately nothing changed. I reached out to customer service and they have responded as if there's nothing wrong with the app. Hopefully it gets fixed soon!
I usually love this app but this newest update...it's terrible!! Items that I have in my saved don't show the pictures when I go to see the details & then when I go to move to the cart the app shuts down. And when I try to use coupons they say they are invalid! Time & time again. The last update had the same type bug. I have deleted the app & reinstall and the same thing happens again!!😡 I guess I should be happy because I just haven't been spending $ but there are things I need for project.
I love JoAnn stores, so it's a shame the app is subpar. Inventory is rarely updated, if ever; items are shown as available & in-stock at a particular store but, upon visiting the store, are NOT actually in stock. On several occasions they hadn't carried the item in many years, or never carried it at all. The pictures are often inaccurate, so ordering via app is a gamble. Zoom function doesn't work and now just crashes the app. The 2 stars are really only for the coupons & reward program access.
Shopping cart no longer shows items. Just blank space. When I do try to check out with curbside pickup, it tells me my address is incorrect & won't let me complete the order. When I'm shopping, it takes forever for the item's photos to populate. This was such a great app. Now it's terrible. Every update makes it worse. So frustrating.
Crashes a lot. Displays items that aren't available in store and tells you they are; you don't find out until you've already paid and picked up the order. But it is convenient to buy things online and pick up curbside, if you don't mind the random unavailable items. (You don't get charged for them, but it can be a pain if you needed it for a project.) There are discounts that are exclusive to the app too, which is nice.
The required up dates here recently have become very annoying, inconviente, and down right frustrating. There is NO ease about it. It expects me to remove apps I need for my work. It tells me there is not enough storage space. What happened to the smile rewards? Haven't had any in many many months. If your not going to have them. Get rid of it! NOT pleased at all!!
It works for me. I see a lot of people's reviews saying it didn't work for them but I've never had a problem. My only complaint is that when I select in store pickup only and search, I still get items that are delivery only and not available in store. Which kinda defeats the purpose of having the option to look for instore availability.
Done ordering from them. Every time I do, they charge me the initial purchase amount immediately. Then they charge again as each item ships. Which ALWAYS turns out to be more than the initial amount when checking out. I don't authorize more than the total. And when you contact them, they say "oh well, that's our policy". Ive told them several times. So they're aware of this and yet don't care.
I heavily relied on the app during the worst of the pandemic, to check for supplies, fabric, and even store hours. And even to check other locations for items. I like it now, because my store is expanding, and adding a lot of new items, and it is great to check if they have arrived so I may see them in person. Also love the coupons!
I use the app for 2 purposes only, one is to pull up my membership and coupon for in store check out, and the other is to use the cell phone app to browse the items. The browsing is extremely painful. Most of the time the item icons/photos won't load at all, so I can't see what those items are. Oftentimes when I need browsing I end up using JoAnn website on Google chrome. The app is basically not useful to me other than when I'm checking out in store. 🤷🏻♀️
I recently updated again due to some glitches with the app. Now the shopping cart doesn't show my items! Just the total. I can't edit or remove items or see how much each one is within the cart. Another issue is that when you're scrolling products, the photos don't populate properly so you have to scroll very slowly and wait for the correct image to appear. It takes FOREVER. And you STILL cannot filter for only your local store! FIX THESE PROBLEMS!
Update: Verify you're a human multiple times while trying to check out, and canceled my order after charging my card. Can't even order now Update: Wow. Still really awful. I'd like to order online and pickup, but this app makes that impossible. Might as well spend my money elsewhere. Update: The app is still AWFUL Just go to the store. Their app is awful. Even using filters, the app still shows items that are out of stock, unavailable, etc. I've had several orders canceled for no reason. Awful!
The app and website are both super slow, unintuitive, and hard to navigate. This really needs to be revamped and brought to the 21st century. It feels as old and tied as the stores, barely working. It took me 2 hours to find all of the DMC thread I needed b/c you can't search by their code numbers.
Used to love it. Now everytime I try to order I get an error that I'm not human, or I can't use coupons, or something just doesn't work right every singme time. Was told to reinstall so I did. Suddenly pick up is in a totally different state and I had to change every item individually...and of course when I did that I suddenly doubled my order and had to change that. I am not very confident that the order I placed today will ever be ready.
Worst app & website, but need for online discounts. What doesn't make sense is the inconsistency of the problems. Sometimes: eats coupons (you apply, discount is there, go to pay and it's gone and no longer available); changes item amount ordered, then doesn't let you correct or delete; adds cost of items "saved for later" to total of shopping cart; items you delete from shopping cart magically reappear over and over, etc. And, yes, I have deleted and reinstalled over and over.
Can't place orders. The app keeps giving me the "touch and hold" page to prove I'm human, then tells me the address it selected for me is invalid. I cannot order anything and it keeps kicking me out. I have cleared the cache, signed out and back in, and uninstalled and reinstalled and keep running into this. Your site isn't much better either as it does not offer what I had in my cart. So frustrating when I need supplies to make a living!
It's pretty easy to navigate. BUT it so isn't easy to find what you want. You apply the filters, like Free instore pickup, and you get items that aren't sold in store or can be shipped. It's very frustrating! Filters should work!
I like Joann's and I order stuff a lot, so I thought it'd be perfect to have this, but it's so buggy. Firstly, it stals doing simple tasks like typing and loading. Secondly, it keeps insisting I'm not human and takes me to a page that I pass (if it loads), but then sends me directly to that page again. It stops working out of nowhere and it deletes all the things I had in my cart. It's been 30 minutes and I can't order stuff for my project. I've reported the issue three times, but nothing.
This app is impossible to use! I've been trying to make a purchase for the last half hour and nothing is working! The photos don't load, the interface is clunky, especially while typing info in. And then it decides that because I have to keep trying to submit my order that I'm not a human and now need to verify that as well. I'm so disappointed because I love shopping at Joann's, but this makes me never want to buy anything from them.
The lastest so-called bugfixes have instead rendered the app unable to open. It insta-crashes as soon as it comes up. Even after a complete reinstall it persists. So basically, the app is now useless. Edit: March of 2022 and still similar problems. Not loading, load then crashes, freezing, and the all too familiar insta-crash continue to make this a pain to try and accomplish anything on.
It literally NEVER works right. The bag will default some to shipping even though you selected pick up. Then when you try to change it, the app freezes and you get prompted to remove items. So you remove the items and suddenly "alpaca yarn" is "ice cream shop yarn" and none of the descriptions match the photos. So you go to the website and you get stuck in a "review your order" loop that you can't get out of. You all need new programmers.
Originally I would have rated this app much higher as I've ordered curbside without issue in the past. Within the last several months the app seems to no longer work. I can still access the coupons, but any online ordering isn't possible. I continue to get errors when attempting to put anything in my cart.
Glitchy, Extremely Slow, and Lacks Payment Options offered on the website. Can't say it's much worse than the website both lag horribly, things show back up in your cart after deleting them, orders double submit (double charge too), and you can't use PayPal. The list of issues goes on... My favorite... It automatically cancels your entire order a few days later if there were too many items lol... Like that's a good business strategy... I certainly prefer taking my business elsewhere when I can.
This app continues to be glitchy in spite of multiple updates. It frequently gets hung up when performing an action like changing quantity, removing from the saved for later list, and choosing a store option in the cart. Additionally, the search function isn't intuitive at all and using the filters makes it worse. Sadly, many of the coupon codes are only valid when using the app so other methods of shopping don't offer the same deals.
Doesn't work very well. When you try to sort by what's in store, it doesn't. When you try to sort by price, it doesn't. When you try to order in the app for pickup, they cancel your order. Frustrating that they offer 20% off your pickup order, but then you can't really use it Last few times I tried to pay online, the payment process was broken. 2yd minimum also annoying. If you're searching for something, you're better off using Google and then clicking the joann's item directly from there.
I love this app the features are labeled for easy use & look up. The accuracy of the pick up feature is awesome. The employee was waiting outside to deliver my items i bought & she was extreamely helpful for my following pick up since i realized I forgot to order a few things. Only issue i have it the amount of times it goes back the first page when im looking for something that isnt on the first page of items.
This might be the worst app in existence. It never remembers my set store and offers me a different state everytime I use the app. Randomly adds and deletes stuff in your cart. If I mark for in-store pick up and add something else to my cart it immediately resets what is in the cart to ship to home and adds more yards to my order. The only thing worse than than app is their website. You'd think a large, well established company like this could afford proper tech support.
The search function is completely worthless and beyond frustrating. Pictures take forever to load, and the descriptions are so vague that you have to wait for each picture to load to see if it's even remotely close to what you're looking for. This wastes tons of time, you are better off driving to the store, even if you live twenty minutes away like me. The downside to that is that you don't get to see the online only options then. I hate that you have to download the app to use their coupons.
This is the slowest app I've ever done a search on. I love Joanns. I'm an avid crafter, but omg they need to figure something out with their server. Pictures of fabric take minutes for each one to load. So frustrating! Especially when the search comes up with 100s of options. Plus, I can never actually pay thru the app. Have to sign in on the website. Please fix these bugs.
So buggy. Searches are extremely slow to load and most of the time don't show all the items no matter how long you wait. Purchasing is a mess. Freezes constantly kicks you out of the app and then boom your items are gone. And don't even think about trying to save items for later because when you go back to add them to cart they don't load. The only thing I use this for is to scan coupons at the store.
I haven't been able to order anything thru app since mid '21 due to an error message, "can't add items to cart," each time. If that doesn't frustrate you, then the search function certainly will. Basic keywords won't pull up as many options compared to navigating the selection menu itself. Searching by the item number or the product name yields nothing, for ex. patterns, but Google shows otherwise. These issues prevent me from using the pickup option advertised often. Wish the app worked better.
Have been using this app for a few years now. Pros: You get notified of deals, coupons are easy to use and in one place, you can always go see if something is available. I also like that you can see all the stores in your area. Cons: I do not like how you cant stack the coupons, but in store you can stack whatever coupons apply to you. The cart is also very buggy. You get alot of having to fight with the cart to get your items to either be shipped or pick up. Very frustrating and unnecessary.
Items in my cart don't show up but are calculated in the price. You're not able to remove Items if they aren't visible in your cart. Sometimes coupons won't work in the app but work on the web page. There's no favorites and you can't save more than 15 Items in the save for later option. The sort option "in stock" doesn't work. I get so aggravated I say forget it and don't make a purchase through them.
So-so performance, but does allow me to use coupons at store, which is what I care about, so it gets a point for that. However, despite turning off all notifications except a couple that had nothing to do with ads or coupons, it still bugged me *frequently* with them. I guess I could block all notifications at the system level for it, but I shouldn't have to. It's 2022, bad UX is no longer excusable.
I really want this app to work, but in the year I've had it, I've never been able to get it to let me purchase items. The app does not allow you to add items to your cart and customer service doesn't care about fixing it (I've put in multiple requests). This really socks because they advertise online deals all the time that I'm unable to access. Only thing the app works for is in store coupons.
Ok so first the app is super buggy and jumps around like it's possessed. Second the cart keeps trying to add multiples of items I only put one in. I go to change it and it adds it right back on. It honestly feels like it's trying to scam money out of me. I love Joann's but this app is extremely suspicious and doesn't work properly at it's best. Really disappointed.
Horrible - who made this app??? I have never once been able to load anything into my cart - ERROR it says. The only thing it's good for is displaying coupons easily but even then I've caught several coupons being displayed incorrectly. States nothing anywhere about 20% off being only for in-store pickup but you try and use the coupon for shipping items and it won't let you because it's only for in-store pickup. I emailed them about this, they don't care. Website is just as bad. Maddening.
The app constantly crashes there has never been one time that I have used it that it has not closed out 65 million times while trying to check out. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling it is continuous and it is only your app. You have to lose so many sales with how slow the app is and how many times it crashes I have been trying to purchase ornaments for the last 3 hours
This app crashes all the time. There are some great deals but every single time I've placed a large order, portions of the order have been canceled afterwards. This past time I ordered a small Christmas tree for my daughter, which we were planning for and she was very excited. And the order was canceled and I was never never notified, so I'm assuming it was canceled the day it was supposed to be shipped when I noticed it. I had been checking the order every day.
Nice app! But for some reason the coupons page will control your brightness randomly now. This started about 2 years ago and it comes and goes. When you visit the coupons page, the brightness goes all the way up and you can't adjust it. You get a pop-up saying you can't adjust the brightness because another app is controlling it. Aside from that the app is great.
Right now, it's 2 stars. The app used to work great but for weeks now, nothing will add into my bag. I receive an error message each time. I have tried updating and re-installing w/no changes. I also can't shop on the website due to my password not working and never receiving emails to update even though I've been registered for years. Have sent an email to customer service. Will update rating back up if issues are fixed.
The shopping cart is so buggy. If you try to delete an item out of it, it automatically adds it back in a maddening loop that never ends. I currently cannot make a purchase because, after I've deleted an out of stock item from my cart, it adds it back later during the checkout process so that I can't delete it or complete my purchase. Please work on your cart/check out process!!
The app is decent, but there appears to be a major bug. The problem arises when I sort by available in-store merchandise. I am shown all options, many of which are out of stock in my designated store. This is annoying and unhelpful when trying to place a pick-up order. It would be incredibly helpful if it was possible to see only in-stock merchandise when I choose that option.
This is the worst app. For the last couple of weeks you can't see what's in your cart. You can't add coupons and it adds and deletes items on its own. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the issues never cleared up. It's a shame as they have good sales but you can't use the app or coupons. Guess I'll go shop online at Hobby Lobby or amazon.
I had several items in my cart and changed my mind about all but one and every time I removed the ones I didn't want, they came back and sometimes in multiple quantities! I tried force stopping, closing the app and they kept coming back. Finally uninstalled, changed my password and completed my order on my computer. What a hassle!
Worst experience shopping with this app, ever. 25% of my order was cancelled, out of the blue. I was double charged, even for the items that were cancelled, AND it arrived late. So, not only did I not have all the materials I needed to complete my project, I couldn't finish it on time, and I had to cancel my plans for the weekend because they still have not released the DOUBLE pending charges from my credit card. Shopping here threw a wrench in my plans for the entire WEEK.
I've used this app for a few years. Recently, it has become very close to unusable. Every click takes 15-30 seconds to load, cart doesn't show individual items - just gives you an option to check out... I'd like to verify what I've added. Further note, Joann's website hasn't been all that functional of late either.
This app is terrible. It had the coupons with the wrong code names, so none of them would apply to my cart, when I looked on the regular website, I could see the coupon code name was different. I attempted to manually enter it, and then my entire cart disappeared. It showed a total, but a blank white square, so I couldn't edit anything. (Or enter the coupon). Logged into the regular website, and had no problem with the coupon or editing a quantity. Don't waste your time, go to the website!
I use the app regularly to order products online for pickup in store. It usually works well. However, it does have the occasional glitch. For example, in the app (and on the website), you can only use one coupon per order. In store, you can use multiple coupons per order. The app also occasionally glitches on available yardage and whether products are in stock, pretending they are gone (when they're not) after you add to cart. This can be remedied sometimes by using a browser instead.
The app is fine for looking at products, but many things can't be ordered online, the coupons are almost never good for online orders, and trying to get through the checkout process is unbelievably frustrating. And what? No wish list!?I guess they expect me to use pen & paper for that. Whatever. I'll just end up forgetting & save $.This app makes me think they really don't want online customers. If they can't get you into the actual store, they apparently just don't want to be bothered with you.
The app is great to work with and luckily isn't just a carbon copy of an underdeveloped website so overall I'm very happy with it! The only complaint I have is that I can't save items I'm interested in to a list within the app so I just have to screenshot them and look them up after if I'm planning a project well in advance or I am just looking for inspiration. Hopefully a wishlist feature is eventually added in because that would make the experience perfect!
Great app, but some annoyances. I love that I can easily and quickly search for what I'm looking for, and that the coupons are pretty accessible. I have two major issues though. The first is that whenever I search for something, if you click away (such as to the "weekly ad" tab) your search is gone and you have to start all over. The second is that there's no way to save favorite items like on the website. Super annoying for when I'm actually in the store shopping!
Joann's itself is great. The app isn't. The search feature just isn't up to par, and that's 98% of how you interact with a shopping app. When I select the option to view only items available for shipping in the search filter there is no effect on items shown, so I still have to wade through all the unavailable items. This is just one example, but it shows how even very basic user interface features standard to most other shopping apps aren't included in this app.
Overall, I love the store, I love the instore employees, but the app and customer service leave a lot to be desired. I recently went in to pick up an online order and while in store, I accumulated $70 more merchandise. I had a $5 reward and knew I also had coupons on the app that would save me $10. But when I went to access my coupons and rewards, the app wouldnt navigate to these pages. Customer service gave me no credit.
When it's good, it's good. When it's bad, it's really bad. Before, my biggest issue was it occasionally not allowing me to order items for pickup even though there was enough in stock. Lately, it's been making my cart invisible. Nothing but white. Tonight, I spent hours trying to place an order, which I had to split by buying most of it on a browser. Literally every second or two, it would change an item to shipping, change the pick up location, change the quantity, or delete an item altogether.
This app should be able to let you shop completely on the app, but I always have to switch back and forth to the mobile site because something or other is wrong. Also, this is my biggest problem: you can't filter out out-of-stock items. Almost every item in the store is out of stock so I just end up going into products that aren't available over and over. There needs to be some sort of online only section and a store section. It often send like the store must be literally bare
Been using this app once in a while for a couple years now. It's usually been one of the slowest and clunkiest of my apps to browse products. Setting the product amounts and pickup location for each item in your cart is a nightmare, today it's freezing and jumping around different options on each item. Good luck if you ever message customer support, a brief simply-worded message will receive lots of irrelevant canned answers from different staff who clearly don't read the messages.
I was having difficulty shipping an item to my home. I was applying a no shipping coupon. It wouldn't apply. The item was no longer in the store but still available. I went to the counter for help. The staff and especially the manager on duty was super helpful to no avail. I call the contact phone number, he said, paraphrasing, oh that app doesn't work, get on Google. I did and it worked!!!
Horribly slow app. I can't even get to the coupons inside the store. The checkout person has to manually enter discounts when she can see my app is not going to cooperate giving her what she needs. I tried ordering on the app as well and that was equally as infuriating. I literally could have driven the half mile to the store and made the purchase in less time than it took me to wait for the app. I guess the $3.98 it saved me was supposed to have been worth the aggravation?
Same issues as other ppl. For the past couple of weeks I have been unable to view my shopping cart. Every time I try the app closes. Also tried online (on my phone & laptop) & it brings up a blank page for my shopping cart. Contacted customer service & each person said the same thing, but their solution didn't help. Very disappointed & angry that I cannot place an order online (for items only available ship). Now I don't need the items as the event passed. I don't want to call to place my order!
1st review 3/12/21. As of 3/29/21 app still not working. Can't open the shopping cart without the app force closing. When you move to the web browser for checkout, it has none of the items saved in your cart from the app. Still no fixes after many other reviews stating similar problems. So frustrating!! I have been using the app to shop for over a year with no problems. I guess the upside is I haven't spent a penny at Joann's since the app quit working. Uninstalled & shopping elsewhere. :[
This app gets on my absolute nerve! It runs painfully slow, I can't get to my favourite items unless I'm on the desktop, and both the app and website are acting up. I can't go to my cart online, and I can't remove things from my cart on the app. It's a blank page. When I do add things to the app's cart, the picture doesn't match the description. The app shuts down and kicks me out after 5 minutes. I don't need to update or uninstall/reinstall. I downloaded the app today! So there's no excuse 😡
For me this app functions well. The app search function works better than it did in the past. The default to online ordering leaves me making adjustments often in my cart. Sadly, I often discover the most important item in my order is no longer available for pickup when I arrive. However, I really appreciate the friendly staff and the contact-less options with pickup from the parking area, especially when I'm with my young grandkids. Coupons are easier to track with the app.
Great for coupons, not really great for anything else. Search engine works perfectly maybe half of the time, otherwise it fluctuates between needing exact words and just never finding the product. Also, there's no way to look for a product and hide options that are out of stock. You just get to scroll through all of the options and hope you have an in stock one pop up.
I've been trying to remove the item from the cart that says "no longer available". I also have tried to uninstall then reinstall the app and it still crashes everytime I press the remove or the save for later button. It's getting frustrating. Update (3/6/21): This app still keeps crashing and I cannot go to the cart to finish my order. I even uninstalled and reinstalled it. This app has been very useless.
Lots of glitches. App closes when accessing shopping cart to check out. Prior to the app shutdown problem was unable to update number of items (per item) in shopping cart. The cart would not save changes. Sale prices also change before midnight. Not sure if this is a time zone issue. App has been uninstalled and reinstalled but the same issues remain. App used to work fine but seems to have a lot of glitches recently.
For the last couple of weeks, the app won't let you checkout. I uninstalled and reinstalled app. The app still won't let you access your cart. It force closes when you try to look at your cart. I've sent several messages, but Joann's app customer service has not fixed the app or responded to my messages. Don't download app, until they fix the cart. Because if you can't checkout the app is kind of pointless.
Horrible!! I shop in store most of the time. The app does not allow you to place an order. Sometimes I feel it's not worth using. My coupons are no longer on the app. I have to get them at the register which I hate because those coupons are hard to keep when printed out. I no longer get the 20% -40% off regular priced merchandise like I did before. App is good to browse but to use discounts or order from. Big fail!!👎🏾
This app works to find what you are looking but if you are wanting to favorite that item, good luck. The website you can clearly favorite something to go back and see it later but only option here is to add to your cart. And from there you can 'save for later' but as soon as I closed the app (on accident) all of the items I had saved for later had vanished. Good idea but some poor execution at times.
I used to really love this app, it worked really well. Now there are issues that never used to be. Like when I'm checking my cart, all of a sudden it reloads and the price goes up so I have to go through and figure out which items got doubled, tripled, even quadrupled! It put qty of 72 for just one item at one point. It will also change the shipping method on me. Every time I go to fix something, be it the qty or shipping it reloads and does the same thing to another item or two. Fix this bug!!
If you like being charged for an order you made without receiving any items then perfect. This app has a long way to go before it should even be used. One good thing is the coupons can be used in store and stack. Also putting in a Shipping address doesn't seem to matter. It will go to the billing address. A waste of time for extra effort.
This app needs to be fixed ASAP! It's a massive headache to use but it's the only way I can get coupons. I order online and pick-up in store but the cart CONSTANTLY glitches. I remove items from my cart but then they get magically added back somehow when I add a completely different item? Why does the qty of my items double when I choose a different store to pick up from?! Not to mention the fact that my cart will empty itself and then magically reappear later. What the heck?! Please fix this!
It used to work but there appears to be something wrong with it currently. It takes over 30 seconds to load information, and is very slow to respond when clicking on links. The app has ALWAYS been terrible at searching - it never loads results for me & tells me "no items found" even if I'm searching something basic like "bee" or "fox." I also wished there was a store map on the app with the aisle location of an item like Target or Michael's has on their app.
This is more work than real life shopping!!! It feels like a constant battle to use this app. Every time you open one thing it stops you from being allowed to go back to see other things without crashing. You can't even see your shopping cart as opening that after shopping crashes it. The only way to get there is by starting over the app and going to the cart right away.
Shopping made difficult! Searching for items is impossible. Items that are on sale are not always on sale - even at check out. At one point, all of the items in my bag disappeared and then returned magically after repeatedly opening and closing the app. Some items are out of stock but you won't find out until after you've ordered them (and still get charged). I hate this app so much. Joann's online ordering is the most frustrating thing ever.
It was working great but after the update it lost the items in my cart and now it will not search for anything! I am very frustrated since today is the last day of the sale. I have been dealing with this app for hours and Everytime I thought it is over another new problem pops up. If it is not the app not working, it is either the coupon not applying, or it changes from store to shipping or automatically order me more items everytime I scroll down to checkout!!!! This is so frustrating!!!!!!!
Decent, but needs work. When I go to the Shopping Bag, I can see my total amount, but not the items. There's a wishlist option, but you can't add items to it from an item's page. Coupons are easily accessible. Can find items, usually fairly decently if using the menus and filters, but search could be improved. And I would LOVE a Share feature so I can share items with other people. Right now, I can't even highlight and copy an item name to send in a text.
App is terrible for shopping! When add things to cart the system glitches and will change the store I selected for pick up or automatically switch from store pick up to ship to home. The price (especially discounted prices) don't always calculate accurately. It's so bad that sometimes I wonder if there's a hacker behind the scenes going in changing things. I literally only use the app to view the catalog, use in-store coupons, or check stock at local stores. I hate it!
Every time I try to order through the app it will not allow me to check out. I'm able to add to my cart, review order and everything else, but when it comes time to continue to payment, the button is light gray and unclickable, and will not go any further. I end up having to go through the website to finish my purchase. So very frustrating!
App has improved but still has a lot of glitches. The main issue is the cart and checkout with last update. Items are not showing but I can still see the price in the total and there is no way to remove it because you can't see the item. Glad they add the save for later feature. Overall, it still needs work.
This app is good for coupons but terrible for placing orders. I wasted so much time trying to place an order with multiple fabrics. It kept telling me my address was invalid (it wasn't) among other ordering issues. I ended up having to find everything again on a laptop through the website to place the order. My shopping cart wasn't saved even though I signed in with the same account. Save yourself the trouble and go straight to the website if you plan on ordering anything.
Every time I try to get to my coupons to use in store, it crashes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, turning on/off wifi, restarting the app, etc. It's been like this since I got the app. And the employees won't give me the discount unless I have the coupon even when I show them. Won't be shopping here unless it changes.
When it works its great but most of the time the coupons won't load, cart glitches out and removes stuff. Now I can't see my recent order. Please fix the app especially since covid is so bad in my state. I love ordering online and picking up. Im in and out but I spend so much time fiddling with your app when I could be doing something my kids or arts and crafts. This app is annoying.
Yes, it's very buggy If you leave items in your cart for too long they "disappear" from your cart list but the cost of the items still appears in the subtotal. You're unable to remove the items from your cart because there's nothing to select so you can't continue with any other in app orders without having to pay for the items you can't see.
Glitchy glitchy glitchy. Checking out is a nightmare. It gets stuck repeatedly at different points during checkout making me back out to the shopping bag and start over and then proceeds to tell me there is an error in my address and won't let me move forward. Also your filter options suck and don't actually help when narrowing down what people are searching for.
Deleting this app because there is no way to turn off all notifications. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. When I go into the personalization and notifications for a new app, I always turn off all notifications because I don't want to be bothered. I'll shop for what I want at my convenience. This app keeps beeping and causing notifications pop ups on my phone, despite multiple GOOD attempts to shut off all notifications. Maybe there is a way? Then why is it so complicated?!?!?!? Was hoping the app would be more useful for tracking my incoming orders ... boy was I wrong! Not only can I not track my orders via the app, it crashed on me every single time I attempted to visit my shopping cart. After a couple of minutes of dealing with that, I've decided it is far too much of a hassle and will uninstall. It's a real shame you can't navigate the app easily and, for me, it's simply unacceptable that I can't track my orders.
If I could give negative stars, I would! Same as other's experience. It was far from great before, now it is completely unusable. I have 17 items (well over $100 worth) in my bag that I can't see and will delete ASAP. I would imagine that Michael's and hobby lobby are seeing a massive increase in sales! To add insult to injury, the only way to use the coupons is through the app. Ridiculous.
The app hasn't been great all along , but was able to manage. It would randomly force close from time to time, or just randomly empty my cart... which has been very frustrating. But over the last couple weeks, its not even usable. It force closes constantly and you can add stuff to your cart, but you can't see the contents of the cart.
It keeps force closing. I found a go around, close the application by swiping it closed (don't just exit the screen, completely shut down the application). Then when you reopen it, just navigate slowly. Once you begin a new search, it will likely force close again, so shut down the app and start over. Not ideal but it gets the job done for online orders (I've never used it in store, that would be a nightmare)
Force closes almost every time I use it. Coupons are never consistent, doesn't always scan at store and rewards are not applied properly. I've lost out on at least $20 because my rewards dont always apply or update. Customer service chat is a pain to access. Search feature will say no results in one place, list a number of results in a different line, but not show the results.
Constant crashing / very unstable This app crashes more times that I can shake a stick at it. Currently if you select shop the fabrics. The app crashes. Many times it doesn't display the items and the spinning icon just spins until the app crashes. Also you canteave items in the bag and close the app. The app doesn't open. I have to log onto the web site, clear the bag, then back to my phone and clesr cache and sometimes clear data to make. It open again. FIX IT ALREADY!!!
The app works smoothly, but it does use a lot of push notifications so be sure to turn those off if they bother you. The search feature in the app is a little underpowered. If you try a broad search (for example "Frozen 2" or "buttonhole elastic") it doesn't always bring up a complete list of products related to that search. This app works best when I know exactly what I am looking for. It has been very useful for curbside pick up and I've been happy with that service.
Will this app ever get better???!! so sick if not being able to access your wish list (mine was recently wiped after last update) and 90% of the time, you can't see anything when you click the + sign to zoom in on a picture...it's just blank! Nothing stays in your cart, and still crashy! Easier just to travel the 20 miles to the store
Coupons are the only thing that somewhat works; other then that pointless. Trying to search in the online store is awful in my opinion. I'd rather go into a store and search myself. I've spent hundreds, if not thousands in these stores over the last 3 + years and I always have them scan to redeem points, & it's never worked ever! Super disappointed about that. I find it funny that everyone always has way different and sometimes better coupons but oh well, something is better then nothing.
Not especially user friendly. Spend more time trying to navigate than actually finding things. Cheesy algorithms - make you work too hard. How about the programmers do the work and make search more intuitive? Shopping cart seems to be down or inoperable 80% of the time, making it a waste of my time. Do not have that problem with Michaels' website. In fact they tell you which aisle to find the merchandise. That makes it very handy when sending hubby out for an errand.
Not the best app. The app has always been weird and I thought it had gotten better until I placed an order got the email confirmation only to realize a few hours later the app never actually submitted my order and charged me two times on top of it. The store was not able to help because the software system wouldn't allow them to see anymore than I was seeing. I think it may be easier and potentially safer to not use the app and just use your browser to order if it is going to glitch.
Its a great app. Not the smoothest ever, but nothing that really lowers the experience. Interfaces are a little weird at first, but you get used to it. The only problem I have is the search function. A little more control and power of what it searches and how would go a long way. For example, if you search foam, your search stays in foam category unless you manually clear it, just deleting what you typed doesn't work. So if you search needles, itll look for needles in the foam category
Maybe it's just because we've had a lot of trouble with this covid business.. but it seems like every other item I add to cart is either unavailable or out of stock. But it doesn't show up as out of stock until I go to check out. Its an easy app to navigate though, and the stores carry a little bit of everything no matter what diy project your doing this week! And the app is usually up to date with the weekly sales catalogs and coupons.
One less star for two reasons. 1. Can only use one coupon for your order. So if you had a reward you wouldn't be able to use it with a 40% off coupon. There should be an area in the payment section where one could submit the $5 reward. 2. If you use a coupon or reward and decide to return something in store because you were given the wrong item...you lose your reward.
Worked well until a few weeks ago, now it freezes or just closes down for no reason. Would have been a great app before, but Search feature wouldn't allow to search by in stock in nearest store, nor would it allow to filter by actual in-store categories. I'll try to load it one more time, but I have little hope it will be fixed soon.
This app worked beautifully until recently. I was able to view coupons and to place on-lines orders. But a few months ago while trying to log-in a pop up and said it was time resent my password. Since then I have not been able to log-in as an error message appears. Contacted customer service and was told to create another account, same error appears. Numerous requests have been made, either ignored or suggestions did not work.
I love this app because it makes it much easier to find things than just wondering around the store. Although one thing I would like to suggest is having the option in maybe the filters to filter by product availability in your selected location. It's disappointing when I see something I really like but find it's not available in my area's store. I don't have the ability to have things shipped to me so I have to do in-store pickup. That would make it alot easier. Other than that awesome app!!!
Crashes every time i try and look at my shopping cart. Update: Am changing my star rating from 1 to 4. Uninstalled and re-installed. Cleared cache. Rebooted phone. Tried app from home, and now I can get to my shopping cart! Will have to see if the occasional "order while in store" coupons work next time I am in the store. Also glad that it looks like the "Mission Rewards" are now working, as they were not giving me credit for purchases in prior months. Crossing my fingers that it keeps working.
Constantly crashes. Even when you search with the parameters "available in store/ in store pick up" it returns most items "unavailable in store" whats the point of trying to use curbside pick up when you can't get what you need? I've found multiple items listed "unavailable in store" that were in fact, in the store....I have found your competitors app MUCH easier to use, I can actually get what I need, the supply count is accurate, and THE APP DOESNT CRASH.
The design is fine, but the functionality is not there a lot of the time. I could easily search the website by putting (ex.) "wood bird house" and have it come up right away. But the search function can rarely handle two words, and sometimes not even one! It really isn't worth the fret. Just use the internet browser on your phone and set it to desktop mode.
I don't think I'll believe this app again. Selected item and it said in cart, looked like it put it in the cart. Get to the store and no don't have it and whoever canceled it last minute. Also made it sound like curbside pick-up would be done in a couple of hours at the latest. Took almost 24 hours. Not happy the thing that got canceled was why I ordered in the first place.
Update 06/28/2020: Cart was working fine for about a month. Not anymore. Keeps shutting down when I try to open the cart. Original review: When you go to your cart, the app closes down. It's done this like 4-5 times. I restarted my phone and closed all other apps to see if it would help, but it didn't.
The app used to work. Then it suddenly wouldn't let me add a second item to my cart, no matter what it was. Now I can't even view my cart- it's just grayed out and perpetually loading. Shipping is slow and all coupons seem to be geared toward in-store purchases. My favorite is a coupon for a full-priced item when literally everything is already on sale and doesn't qualify.
Wish it had a save for later list or wishlist. It's a pain to go through hundreds and hundreds of material and not be able to save those you liked. Especially when you are trying to design your own idea and there are several options but you want to make sure it's the best choice if you are combining more than one cut. Web page gas this feature as well as ability to share to Pinterest board or send to someone.
I can narrow down categories to a certain extent, but searching for a specific item or a keyword does not work on my Samsung Galaxy. Nothing shows up in the results, even though it will say how many items match that keyword. It is frustrating that there have been several updates but that is still broken. Other than that, the app works fine.
This app is garbage. The only thing it's good for is using my coupons in-store. It doesn't accurately state if an item is available in a specific store, and I can't complete any orders because it always crashes at the "Review Order" stage. I've reached out to Joann's customer service about this and all I got back was some lame response about being sorry for the inconvenience. That's great but I'd rather they fix the damn app!
Please fix these bugs! App crashes when I click on my cart, cannot view cart, cannot check out. App also doesn't filter out items that are out of stock in my local store, even though I select "items for store pick up" only. Very frustrating shopping experience. I email Joann's customer service, they got back to me a month later, just to tell me to uninstall and reinstall the app 🤷♀️
Horrible! When you but something it may not be there. But they say they can't tell until they go to process your order. Nonsense! They need to get new IT employees and program! Today, the things I have put in my cart, I cannot open my cart as the app shuts down and closes. Now I will miss out on the one day coupon! I have had the issue with purchasing for over a year now. You put it in you cart, you pay for it and then you get an email a day or even more telling you that item was cancelled!
The coupons are great. However, I wish you guys would update the system more frequently. I've had 4 separate orders cancel on me in less than 24 hours of placing. What is the point of using this app to place orders if possibly everything I'm seeing "available for pick up" isn't truly available. Is it hard to have real-time numbers integrated into your inventory software?
Don't even waste your time downloading this app. Everytime I've tried ordering something it glitches and won't ever place the order. I get all the way to putting my card info and pressing checkout and then it restarts me back at the beginning of the process. Honestly don't waste your time with Joanns online ordering at all. Orders get canceled and you don't even get notified. Maybe once this gets fixed I'll come and add stars. But for right now it doesn't even deserve the one star. 👎
It's not possible to turn off marketing notifications. If I can't control an app's behavior, I won't have it. Too bad since the website doesn't show local stock and I'm in quarantine. Furthermore, when I add a coupon to the shopping cart, the price goes UP -- reverts to regular price and jumps to "shipping" from "pick-up," also adding shipping fee. Uninstalled.
Horrible app! It either refreshes and I have to start all over, clears everything from my cart before I can check out, is now either adding or removing items. Not sure what's going on but not very user friendly and super frustrating to use. At the point where I'm ready to delete. Also, isn't adding my coupons. Very frustrating.
Nice idea, but it doesn't work well. Filters and search - Not helpful. Search results do not match criteria. Filters do not work well to find in-stock products or a specific color. Sale items - Even if you select in-store pickup, you cannot get the store sale price. Online pricing only. Coupons - Only one coupon code allowed. In the store you can mix coupons, and they are applied to each item separately as applicable. To do it in the app, you have to place multiple separate orders.
I love the app, I wish a feature would be added to be able to search inventory available for each store. It's very frustrating to browse fabric's, find something you like and it's not available at your store and it's very time consuming. Die to the pandemic and trying to stay ahead of the curve, it would encourage more purchasing on line for in store pickup.
Before online shopping was the only way to shop, this app was fine. I could use it for my coupons and to look for certain items, but now that it is the ONLY way to shop at JOANN it is useless. I can't order from the actual website because it keeps showing me an error any time I try to look at my shopping bag. I thought that the app would do better, but after adding things to my cart and putting in my billing information, I can't review my order, because that button is grayed out. I mean, really you would think they would want people to be able to purchase things, but apparently not.
I recently started making masks so this is my go-to for fabrics and supplies, but the app doesn't make it easy. Most of the time I have stuff in my cart and when I come back to it later in the day, stuff are no longer in the cart or "not available." But when I search out the items again, they're still available. There's also been times that the number of each item changed in the cart. For example, I had $20+ worth in there, then I check later on it's $70+ because one of the items was at 12 qty.
Constantly Glitches. It never saves my location. When I go to my cart it Glitches out and throws all my pick up items to delivery, then it freezes and adds an obscene number of items. I order 1 but go to cart and it changes to 5 or 15. Then it won't let you change it back. It also has never given me my Smile Rewards, two different missions, I buy and scan my account. No reward. So frustrating.
It's really hard to buy a fabric by looking at pictures. Sometimes we want to feel the textures of the fabric. Also, it a waste of time using this app for a curve side pick up. 95% of the thing people want to buy is either not in stock or not available for curve side pick up. This app is just good for draining cell phone battery by browsing and able to buy them. I open this app for the whole month every day to try get some sports cotton fabric, between 2 stores near me, always not available.
Frustrating! The app has a different inventory than the website and the website is far more reliable. Lately, the app crashes every time I try to view my cart, but they offer coupons that ONLY work if you use the app. If I am able to open my cart, it is often deleted after only ten minutes of shopping and I have to search for the products and add them again and again and again. Uninstalling does not mitigate these problems.
It is taking me hours to try and checkout. The fact that you can't just filter the fabric based on what's in stock at your local store is really frustrating. So much time spent checking item after item, color after color, just for most to not be available at my store. When I finally found what I needed, my cart emptied. When I finally found it all again my cart started glitching out and keeps changing it to shipping on each item instead of in store pick up. It also keeps changing the quantities
Annoying checkout, I wanted In Store Pick Up. Once in the cart every item changes to "shipping only" even though it said that they have it available in the store, you then have to go back to the item individually and add another one to the cart but this time "pick up" then to make it more annoying it changes every time you go back into the cart and it automatically adds more quantities automatically. Had to shop for some fabric urgently, but after this I am not using their app again.
I switched phones -- same carrier -- and I tried FOUR times to change my password because I had to reinstall the app and this app doesn't recognize the email address. And you cannot see the password you are tying in on the phone,especially since it requires a capital letter, lowercase letter, number, and special character. What kind of stupidity is that? I've been a Joann customer for nearly 45 years. I liked getting the mailer and the phone coupons, and wanted to use the phone coupon instead of the online one. No more. I removed the phone app. See you when the stores reopen.
Love all the actual Joanns locations, but the app and website are pretty difficult to use. For example, when shopping for thread, what you select on the website doesn't even match the actual item you're buying which not only inconveniences the buyer, but probably puts more stress on employees when they have to then correct that inaccuracy. Considering this is also during quarentine, I can't even return the items. I love Joanns and would really like to see improvement on the app and website.
I have successfully used this app and then recently 5/2, it just keeps shutting down when going to items in cart and checkout. Couldn't order, missed discount! The search engine is a pain and many functions don't work properly in trying to navigate (wish list & others) and not being able to use this app during store closure is most frustrating. Shopping takes forever when you can't see whats at your local store for free pickup. Lots of great fabrics but not available locally or online. SAD!
This app has been super buggy. When checking recent orders it crashes. Tried to make a purchase the other day and couldn't complete the transaction. Went on my account on my computer and my cart was empty. Had to replace all the items that I wanted. I love the store and realize things aren't normal right now, so hope things improve.
Really needs improvement. While it tells you items are in stock the reality is they are not to many items get canceled in orders because the app takes to long to update with current stock numbers. There needs to be a way for customers to cancel orders and not have to wait 4 days of not picking up the order. Claiming money in accounts are on hold is a lie, I always get charged for items that are canceled and have to go into a store to get a refund. Processing and filling orders takes way to long.
Overall a great app, the main issue I have is in the cart. It doesn't seem to know how to keep track of quantities & which location you want. If I'm in the cart & set everything up correctly & then shop some more & go back to the cart, one or more things have changed & I have to fix it. It also takes a long time to load in- store availabilities & I usually have to delete the item & re-enter it for the in-store availability to be correct. Probably due to the virus & lots more people using the app
As much as I love JoAnn, this app is the definition of glitch. It is always down. The checkout buttons and features are usually broken. I have several items in my cart and I can't even press the "proceed to check" button. I have 20 items in my shopping cart and it says my subtotal is $0 with a $3 discount being applied. What????!! I also have to search very hard to locate items because basic keywords do not match up. I could go on. Several updates need to be made
Quite possibly the worst functioning, least intuitive, and frustrating app I've ever used. Poor search functionality (look for a fabric with foxes on it...nope. Gotta search "woodland"), unable to filter based on whether I want to ship or have available for curbside pickup. Froze and shut down anytime I made any changes to my cart. Website isn't much better. It's 2020, get with it.
The app says one thing like an item is available to pick up in store, but when selected it will show out of stock. The app crashes a lot while searching. The app will not work as expected when trying to add things into my cart, the add button looks as though it's doing something, but never adds item to cart. Very frustrating app!
I downloaded the app after having countless problems with their website while trying to order supplies. The app is just as bad. When you add an item to your cart for pick up, it somehow goes from in stock to unavailable. It is beyond frustrating that within the span of a few minutes, your entire cart is no longer available after finally finding productin stock at your store.
Worst. App. I've never been more frustrated with an app. It could not maintain my cart. It would not delete items. It took 2 days and multiple attempts to do so. It would sometimes show my cart empty. Then suddenly I would have a cart with triple the number of items. It's ok for just browsing but extremely frustrating to do anything else.
It has been so painful trying to order supplies for masks and surgical hats. Whenever I switch into another app for a few moments, I come back, and all the items in my cart have switched from In-Store Pick Up to being shipped, and the quantities increased. And on several occasions, things just disappear from my cart, or it tells me that it's no longer available in-store, but then 5 minutes later, it is available. I've had to start writing down everything I add to my cart, so I don't lose it.
This app is painful to use. I've entered in the items I wanted to purchase no less than 6 times today. Either it crashed and emptied my cart, or the purchase button would not activate until I removed some items. But there was no indication that the items I could not pick up at the store were causing the processing to hang. Finally figured that out. Currently trying to purchase only unstick items and moving to the review order phase has been spinning for more than 10 minutes. Sigh.
Difficult to shop in the app, to the point I'm giving up and buying elsewhere. It's not very helpful to have a "store pickup" filter option that still shows me EVERYTHING and I have to click on each item, just to see that NONE of them are available in my local store for pickup. The only thing I've found this app to be useful for is saving digital coupons for in-store.
I Always check for coupons and sales. That makes this a keeper!! It's too hard to just browse because so few items are shown before more have to be loaded, and loaded. You never get very far, it's too time consuming and I can't trust it to find all that's available. If you mess up you have to start over. Looking up a specific item is hard if you don't have the exact name. It all comes down to the difficulty in browsing. So I've never ordered through the app, I always go online.
Absolute rubbish. It doesn't matter which update I have of this app, it is awful. It removes things from my cart, it forces me to choose shipping even though an item is available in store, it constantly tells me I have selected too many of an item and I can't proceed even though I added 2 to my cart and it shows 16 in stock. Horrible, horrible app. Everyone in my local store knows the app is rubbish. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. It doesn't matter what I do, it's trash.
My experience with JoAnn's has been great. The store in Livonia, MI that I usually patronize is always clean and staff workers are kind. I like that they inform the customer of their coupons. I have went on a few occasions to gladly pay the regular price for an item, but was informed of a particular coupon that saved me money. One of the times I was short on money, but I needed the item. A staff worker asked me to check my email for a 40% coupon. Wow! That extra money saved was definitely needed
The only reason I keep the app is that it's faster than looking online for some things. It never let's me check out and doesn't save any of my info. I can usually complete a sale online, but entering my info every time takes a while. If there are any errors, I have to start over from scratch. It's taken less time to drive to another retailer and make my purchase a few times. If you don't want my money, just say so.
Even after an update, I am unable to use the app to purchase anything. It won't advance screens in the process. I've complained with feedback. The first time the customer service rep was completely clueless seemingly about how anything works for joann shopping. The second time was told that the app isn't really meant for shopping - even though it is the only way to use the rewards program. Also, the sales in the app don't match the store. Since I can't shop in the app, it is pretty worthless.
Horrible app experience. The search engine routinely freezes and also does not remember what section you are searching. Forget about trying to move anything from "ship to home" to "ship to store." It puts multiples of the item in the shipping method you do not want and none in the one you do, as well as completely deletes some items. I recommend going through your card with a fine tooth comb before checking out. Also, there is no ability to add something you find to a wishlist.
Stable app. The only issue I have is that the How To section is not moderated in any real way. You are stuck looking through what is suppose to be a bunch of how to projects and instead people post pictures butno directions on how to actually do it. The whole purpose is to get ideas about projects and to see how they did it. If i want just pictures I can use pintrest its much faster and has more content. The app can run a bit slow in loading things.
The only thing I can use this app for is coupons. It doesn't ever update for my smile rewards. There have been many times I've met a reward goal, like making 2 purchases in a time frame and it won't give my reward coupon. Also it doesn't keep track of recent transactions or let me bookmark any projects that I like. Overall, it's disappointing for a crafter such as myself. There's no incentive to go to this store over Hobby Lobby or Michael's if the app doesn't work properly.
Love it, makes online shopping so much easier. Only one comment, the number of items tally defaults to 1, and sometimes doesn't update when changed. I didn't catch it and ended up with a single ball of yarn when I wanted 5. No big deal, I know to check more carefully now. But I was a teensy bit disappointed. You know how us yarn hoarders are....😘
Great for sales and coupons . . . BUT . . . I can't find a way to turn OFF Notifications. I found it in Settings and unchecked EVERY box. I'll still getting AT LEAST one notification per day! I use the app when I take my daughter to Joanns, so I don't need (or want) to see Notifications. I'd rate the app higher IF it weren't for this apparent deficiency. 🙄
It's a little slow. The app makes using coupons confusing. It also doesn't track $ spent for extra rewards. I asked my local store about it and she said everyone complains about it. Prices on the app are more expensive than in the store. I mainly use the app as a shopping list and to see the deals. I don't purchase anything through it.
Love the store. App needs work. App keeps telling me I need to update. I closed out, started back up, logged out and back in, uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing makes the black banner notification go away. Google play says app is up to date on all my accounts. Its super annoying. Also, Wish there were more detailed filter options for searches. Currently too broad for as many options as there are. Wish there was a favorites/list/wishlist section.
Everytime I use the app to order, the order is messed up. For example, when an order was placed though the app for delivery, it showed up in 3 stores across the country for pick up. The next time, nearly all the items were cancelled as out of stock. I placed the same exact order the next day through the browser and no issues. Love the coupons but hate using it to shop.
I like that the app is super easy to use and I can search the coupon tab to see if there is any relevant sale going on. I do wish that there was a way to scan paper in store receipts for rewards. Sometimes (most of the time) I forget all about the app reward Barcode when I'm at the register, so I never get any extra rewards!! Frustrating.
It's a pain to navigate and when I get notifications on my phone for specials, after clicking on them they never show up. It just takes me to the app and them I can't find the special I was sent. Also, app/online shopping is more expensive than in-store so it's almost not worth it to even use the app in the first place. Truly frustrating and a waste of time.
Pretty much the best use of the app is keeping track of store coupons. The search is bad, with no logical filters to use. The shopping cart is awful. As I would check the cart, items would randomly move, some item quantities doubled for no reason, and one item deleted itself entirely, but I didn't catch it until after paying. It's not available in stores, so now I have to pay a second $8 on shipping for a $2 skein of yarn. My in-store pick up coupon also did not apply to my purchase.
OK app, but you can't access the wish list for your account (which I had used as a shopping list), and the scanner doesn't work. I scanned multiple items last time I was in the store & all came up as "not found" but I was able to find the items with a text search.
I have had this app for about 2 years now. I have noticed that if there is a problem, the development and software peeps listen to complaints and fix the issue. The pop-up reminders are always welcome and you can easily control that function with a press of the button.
Easy to use and the coupons are nice. However, the JoAnn Smiles rewards program doesn't work (at least for me). The barcode was scanned in the store at least a week ago and the transaction never showed up in the app. I only have one more day until I can reach the award amount. This makes it impossible to get missions completed. Not going to rush to the store and it still not show up
This app is both super-handy and hilariously bad. Put an item in your cart, apply a coupon, and then don't get around to checking out until the coupon has expired? It has no idea what the real price is gonna be. Even better: Put an item in your cart that the store doesn't have and can't get? The rest of the order will be filled and the item will stay in your cart... and crash the app every time you try to look at your "shopping bag" ever after. Luckily, I use it just for the coupons - though a delete-and-reinstall would probably clear it if I ever want to order through it again.
It is ridiculous to have to login to get a coupon; Everytime I use the app, I am told I need to reset my password "for security reasons." The reset process is slower than slow and I've never been able to perform the function when I need to use the coupons! Joann's customer service has been of no help. This is the fourth time I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app, which is always their suggestion.
Spare me the constant notifications! I've tried a half dozen times to turn off the phone notifications with no success. If there was one a week, I could live with it, but they come a couple of times a day. Since the nearest JoAnn is 80 miles away, I'm deleting the app. When I want to go to the store, I'll temporarily reinstall it to use the coupons.
Ever since I found this store and its app I have truly been impressed. For starters it has a dedicated button for coupons. No need to search around or wonder if they have any. You can search through the inventory and I have yet to see any discrepancies. As an artist and a photographer it has many of the items I need and prices are conpa red able or even lower than competitors. Defibitely happy with it.
Kind of on the fence about it. I get emails fairly often but they are constantly trying to force my hand if i want to use my regular email discounts. Half the time, on the email discounts are hard to be scanned in the store. Don't get me wrong, i love the discounts but getting 4 to 5 a day through email is pretty difficult. I appreciate the email discounts but they change so rapidly i am never sure which coupon to use.
Just uninstalled the app because it sends me notifications every day and you can't turn them off. I've had notifications off for a long time and the app was great. About a week ago it started sending notifications again, without my ever opening the app. Now the best option available is to set notifications to silent. You can't turn them off. Big NO, Joann.
It takes me up to 2 1/2 hours of bus travel to get there. I can take my time browsing while deciding what items I want and need to add to my cart that will bring my visionalized projects into existance. I find awesome bargains. I also get to meet wonderful people and staff who share their creative knowledge and ideas. It has become a peaceful,exciting and rewarding retreat for me. The customer service is great! Love the App!
This app is so frustrating. The weekly ads have not been working for me for weeks now. Everytime I try to load it says "oops something went wrong". I just want to view the weekly ads so I can see the deals but it never works anymore. The How To section also doesnt work anymore for me and displays the same error. When I try to switch store locations it displays the same error message. Extremely buggy. FIX YOUR APP.
It's great. Not only does it help save you a lot of money when you use the coupons, I also love the mission rewards feature to get extra savings, the fact that you can look at the weekly ad to see what's on sale beforehand, and the "how to" section which gives you ideas for different projects and teaches you to create them. Not to mention, it's extremely easy to find what you need when using the app to shop online, and you can use the online coupon codes to get extra savings for that as well.
I came back to edit my review from 4 stars to 3 because somehow, in all the time I've been using it, they have yet to develop a "list" or favorites feature that's actually usable. There's no reason why I shouldn't be able to add something to my list from the product page, ESPECIALLY when I can't add things to my cart (my current workaround) because they're sold in-store only. This is a pretty standard feature of any store app, but not this one. If such a feature does exist, it's not intuitive.
I love getting notifications via text, and the app is laid out really well. I like the sale paper feature, as well as the coupons being in one tab. You can also keep track of you rewards program on there. You can also save your favorite project tutorials. The only thing I would change is the class tab. It's nice to see what's offered, but I would like to know the dates and times for my favorite saved stores' classes without having to go to the store, or act like I'm going to purchase a class.
I have found the JoAnn's app to be very useful in that it is convenient when searching for products that I need. I like the scan coupon features when I shop and save whether in store or online. It is also convenient in placing an order for specific items that can be picked up at the store or shipped to my home. Overall it is one of my favorite apps to use.❤❤❤
I LOVE this app!! Easy and convenient! I have overheard others saying they have too many apps or they don't have enough memory on their phone so they won't download it. Well, I am pretty sure they have never seen the deals that are available! Make space folks! This app will save you money! If you have kids, you craft or run a household and you find yourself at Joann's a few times a year (or monthly... weekly... daily), you will save money. You can even cancel the email and text messages!
The app is great! All your coupons and weekly ads in one place, plus how-to's and instructions for all kinds of crafts! You can also enroll in various discount programs such as military and teacher discounts. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that there should be a way to scan receipts into the app if you forgot to scan your Smiles rewards or were otherwise unable to pull it up in the store.
The only positive I can give about this app is that it allows me to use coupons in-store. As far as online shopping and using coupons for that purpose, it falls short. I just purchased some yarn and ended up using the mobile website due to the app constantly freezing and the ridiculous restrictions on coupons for in-app purchases. If I had checked out using the app, I would've spent $13 more because my items didn't qualify for in-store pickup.
The shopping experience is painful at best. If I add something to my cart and go to view it, the app will randomly start upping quantity and changing it to shipped instead of pick up in store. If you remove some of the quantity or change how you get the item, it will do it to a different item when the page refreshes. It makes it ultimately impossible to make any purchases.
App does not find my store and, yes, I do have the app permissions set to allow use of location. The password reset function is also difficult to use. Even though my password had all requirements then to top it off it doesn't always work when I try to log in. It would benice if the app let me use a fingerprint to log in or at the very least let me save my password but it doesn't allow me to do either one.
Keeps upping my order quantities and changing from in-store pick-up to shipping, even though the item is available in-store. One in store coupon disappeared every time I entered the store and would then show up when I left. I took screen shots so I could prove it. The rewards take too long to update. It still freezes.
crashes and closes when trying to use the store locator and weekly ad. Highly annoying. Uninstalled, reinstalled.....no changes. Emailed customer service...they are working on it but as of 8/3/19 no results update 8/18/19 after uninstall and reinstall--still unable to use store locator and weekly ad. Doesn't crash the app, but non functional. C'mon! This should not be rocket science in 2019!
Never had any issues with this app until latest update. Now the app crashes every time I try to set my store and won't pull up the weekly ad. 5 stars before update. updated the app again. it no longer crashes, but I still can't set my store therefore I still can't look at the weekly ad. I am a loyal joann customer but this is becoming very frustrating.
Passable... When installed and logged in, the app started up fine. However, when I clicked on the "weekly adds" tab at the bottom and then "find my store", the app crashed. This was the case every time I opened the app. l noticed that the "find my store" button on the home tab also caused the app to crash. However, I was able to search, shop and purchase things as long as I avoided those options. That includes using the "coupons" tab.
This allows me to shop from home which is great, however I would recommend picking up at store. Colors can be off from picture and often get the project I'm making in multiple shipment over sometimes a week. Also in the filters you can choose ship to home, ship to store, or in store. I chose in store and then selected my store. I have spent the last hour selecting item only to find none available at my store. This needs to be fixed.
I enjoy automatically getting up to date promotions and 60% off coupons. I also value that the coupons are readily available for the cashiers to scan directly from your phone. It saves alot of time and allows the line to continuously move. The salesfloor associates are very knowledgeable and are always willing to help you find the items you need. In addition, they also take the time to make suggestions about items that would be beneficial in finishing your project and staying within budget.
I love JoAnn! I would love to see the app be able to find more specific items I'm looking for (items which I know are definitely sold at my store). Search results often say "Sorry, we can't find any products for your search." Even scrolling through a specific category for that item (takes forever since there are few items on each page and you can't set how many items you want to see per page) still doesn't show the item! I would also like to see the clearance items available by a sort.
Very unstable app! After I chose fabric and amount of yards & I go to the cart, aap changes the quantity from 4 to 7. I have to fix each one that it changed and when I go continue to pay the amount of $ changes by $40, why?? because it changed the quantities again. This one of many crazy glitches with it. Today, I can't open the shopping bag since 2 days ago and couldn't use the free shipping coupon, because it keeps loading and the screen in black. Other times it would not apply the coupon.
Fantastic deals with the app. I really enjoy using this app when shopping at JoAnn. It's great that you can use multiple coupons in one transaction unlike certain competitor's apps where there is only one 40% off coupon. One thing that I don't like about the app is how the smiles rewards coupon is not reliable in tracking my purchases and how the missions can abruptly change in the middle of an original mission.
I really like using my app, especially at the store to get discounts; however, sometimes my app won't open while at the store, so I usually bring along the paper coupons, too - just in case. Lately, on the last 3 or 4 visits, I have had no trouble opening the app to use my coupons. Very convenient and nice savings!
If I could get internet in the store where I shop this app might be convenient but it does not so I have to screen shot the coupons from the app at home, then call up the photo for the employee to scan from my phone at check out. I understand this is cheaper for the company and better for the environment but I would like to be able to print coupons from the website and that is no longer an option. Joann you might as well do away with coupons all together and just lower your prices.
This is a very poorly engineered app. The shopping cart is horrible. It freezes constantly, changes the quantity of items by itself, constantly declines credit card payments for no reason, and is just slow and crashes all the time. It has the potential to be great, but it's just so poorly made and frustrating to use that I completely waste my time and end up not purchasing anything.
Loving the app and easy access to crafting stuff (edit) since the most recent update I can no longer open the app. It fails to open even after uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Not sure why it suddenly doesn't work but it means I can't use it for coupons so I guess they just went from 5 stars to 1 star.
love being able to go into a store and shop knowing I don't have to remember my coupons or try looking for them. other thing I live is the "quest's" to get more discounts. I really spend more now, but I've used it to my advantage I give great gifts to my friends who love crafting too! worth the download if you shop there more then 2 times a month.
i work for Joann's and while this is convenient for some customers a lot of our regular, mostly older customers, don't have smart phones or aren't technologically adept. it's hurting a good portion of the customer base getting rid of paper coupons and forcing them to use the app. Our scanners also aren't always good at scanning phones.
tried to purchase yarn for in-store pick up. each skein I clicked that option. when I looked in my cart, most were set for shipping. when i changed the setting, it buffered a long time and then would say it wasn't available in store anymore, it also raised the quantity on some. When I tried to remove an item, it disappeared but cart price total went higher! constantly refreshing on its own, jumping around to different items. no thanks. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN APP.
If I could've, I would've given this app a negative number of stars. This app is HORRIBLE! It kept changing my shipping from "free shipping to store" to "ship to home" and wanting to charge me for it. It also kept changing my quantity selected. It also told me my items weren't available in my store after it allowed me to select that option. It let me reselect my store later. And it kept buffering every time I tried to scroll in my shopping bag. I won't try to use the app again!
sometimes hard to find wanted item if I can't think of/find the best keyword. logic often doesn't work either. Even so, there is an almost over abundance of products and I can often use the pick up in store option. I often save a lot using coupons and find some great buys on sale and in clearance.
If I could give zero stars, I would. The app is fine, whatever, but the online shopping experience is HORRIBLE. Site to store info is inaccurate- it allowed me to order items that aren't actually available in the store, didn't notify me, I had to call the store where they said the items weren't there, I couldn't cancel the order and now have to just wait for the pending charges to go away on my bank account. It's charging my account multiple times for the same order. There's more but out of room
It is really crappy when you use the filter for searches and it doesnt show whats available at your store, available for free pick up or ship to home specifically. It shows a whole lot of stuff not available at all! very frustrating and time wasting. Theyre losing business with this and in this day and age, should have an app that actualky works correctly.
I got the app because it seems to be the only way to use/get digital coupons. The initial log in process was very buggy (it sent me in circles a few times and kept jumping boxes while I was typing. Ultimately had to close the app and reopen it for it to tell me that I was signed in). The search function suffers from the same issues that the webpage does. Categories are lacking. Searching by products that you can pick up in store does not filter by items that go to your store.
Unreliable. Needs a lot of work. I do have the most recent app & the same issues existed at Christmas. When you scroll through the cart, items jump from local pickup to shipping & need to be manually switched back. The app also changes the number of each item in your order. I wanted one wreath, which it changed to two, then eight, then sixteen! Same with other items in cart. The only benefit is finding coupons & you can only use one per order. App often removes your valid coupon. So frustrating.
I like the app for convenience and it's pretty speedy. the barcode scanner was great in the store when an empty bolt almost cancelled my project. If i could change one thing: i would really like a wishlist or favorites feature added. i often see fabrics i like when I'm looking for something else and would like a place to catalog those for my next purchase.
The app works cleanly and consistently - even over relatively slow connections. Being in the industry, it's obvious that some real effort went into its design. Haven't experienced any issues and use it relatively regularly. Note that the database, or whatever, the app connects to, can sometimes contain inaccurate information (quantities on hand, etc.), but its the same info presented on the website.
App works fine for me, but I'm giving it 2 stars because you can't turn off the notifications!! I get them daily, some times multiple times a day. When I went under the Notifications settings, the ONLY ones you can turn on or off are "someone comments on my post", "new follower", and "new project from someone you follow". I want to turn off JOANN sales etc. This is so stupid. If you can't fix this, I'm removing the app. It's not worth the annoyance.
Simple layout, very clear, uncluttered reading, user friendy, can find what need with just a couple clicks and Not minutes of scrolling with pages constantly reloading like most other store apps. love that the coupons are easily on one page & only if you want more details do you need to click again. I Love that there aren't too many unecessary graphics slowing loading and viewing. This IS the best app for a store I've 'ever' used and not felt frustrated to point of uninstalling! Great job!
Great way to find coupons for your purchases. I love that you can pick coupons that apply to your new projects. App is very easy to use, and very helpful at showing you the latest decorating trends, and getting you savings to purchase those products. Its a super time saver when you can't make it to the store, just purchase what you need online, at home. 😃
i work at joanns so i have to deal with the app a lot. its great, but still needs some work on some things. like making the coupons more clear on exactly what they are for would be great, or be clear in the exclusions which kind they dont apply to. for example, the NewLook patterns are like an off brand of simplicity patterns so are technically simplicty but dont apply to the coupon which confuses guests and get upset due to the misleading coupon. other than that i love the app! always saving $$
This app is very good for delivering useful coupons. I think I'll be using the shopping online with local pickup feature quite a bit once my local Joann's reopens after fixing storm damage. I am currently a bit frustrated with the search capabilities but I'm not sure if that is learning curve or a real mismatch between the kinds of things I want to filter on and the app's capabilities.
Great app, except...it shows that my local store has nothing. Every item i try to put in my cart for in-store pickup, it says isnt available in my store. When i go to the website, lo and behold, the same items are available. I've forced stop, restarted, uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing works.
This app is nice to have for collecting rewards and having the coupons right on your phone, and if you want to purchase something from the app, and wait for shipping, great. It is not in sync with what your local store actually has or doesnt have in stock, and thats irritating. Ive learned to call & verify they actually have what I need. So until there is a solution, 3 stars.
I love the app, but it won't work inside the store on AT&T phones. And the first time I tried to place an order for store pickup, it told me it was unsuccessful twice. I called the store and they never got my order, but when I checked my credit card app, I was charged for both attempts. If they fix the problems, I'll change my rating to 5 stars.
Only a 4/5 because there are some bugs that bother me (search bar disappearing whilst typing a product name to search for, some days the app and the servers? just... don't work), but overall the app greatly improves my shopping experience with Joann. I very much appreciate the barcode reader in the app (I wish it were more noticeable/a higher priority in the UI layout), it makes searching for prices and sales so much easier. I love that the app contains a weekly ad and saves my coupons for me.
This app is hit or miss on if all the features work. I have had issues with loading coupons, viewing the Smile missions and rewards, and the extremely slow load time of product photos. I like that I can have near instant access to all the coupons, but that only happens if the app is working that day.
I prefer printing the coupons I want. When I have tried to use the app in store, I cannot access it. The employees either don't care to help you find the coupon or else they don't know how to do it, either! I did have a VERY HELPFUL person at the cutting counter who even left her "post" to help me find what I was looking for! She also offered me the remnant left on the bolt at an extra savings. If I could have accessed my coupons, I would have been VERY HAPPY! JOANN needs to update their system, or offer printed coupons like they used to! PLEASE?!!
This app is mostly ok so far, but gets super frustrating in the cart. Since there's a 2 yd minimum online, even if it shows 1 yd left, you can't get it. Removing items from cart takes forever to load, and seems to mess with quantities of all other items in your cart. I just spent 20 minutes fighting with quantities and removals--mostly fighting extreme quantities on everything after removing an item, and when I fixed the quantities the removed item was back with its own high quantity--so that by the time I was able to check out, I had only half my order left! It's also annoying that the message center doesn't open anything if you click on an individual message; it just sends you back to the homepage. There are also way too many annoying notifications, but I haven't checked yet if I can put limits on that. When I try to click on the notification in my notification list, it also doesn't open anything; just as in the app it just goes to my homescreen, but this time my phone homescreen, not the app homepage.
I'm an avid crafter.I like the app for sales,coupons, etc. Fabric selections are difficult, and product availability is never correct. Would like to be able to possibly have store/store transfers, or something similar. During large ad drops, app crashes, and runs ridiculously slow, leaving app customers struggling to keep the lines moving.
It's good for coupons (when store wifi isn't down, which it almost always is) and figuring out about how much I'll pay in-store, nothing more. I could tolerate the occasional crash and frequent "failed to add to cart" error, even the seemingly random wipes of the shopping cart and list, but an online shopping app where the "Continue to Payment" button remains eternally greyed out is pretty useless.
I'm a skeptic for apps connected to business'. It can be slightly intrusive, with the alerts (which is kind of like carrying a commercial, in my pocket). The incredible coupons really have saved me, a lot of money. I feel like my information is getting paid for, in this case. Personal information, really has a monetary value, now.
I like the app because it contains coupons all in one place, which is easier than searching for them online. I also like that by searching the online store, I found an item I really wanted and didn't know existed. However, my 3 rating is because when I made online purchases, I tried to apply the "$4.99 off shipping" coupon, aaand it never worked. I read the fine print and could not find a reason why. Every online order has a minimum $4.99 shipping fee, and so this discount would be great, if only
I love JOANNs. More than most craft stores. But honestly, the app kind of stinks. It regularly crashes or doesn't fully load pages. I've also had instances where the pictures for a yarn color were wrong for what it was. I no longer live near a physical location, so ordering through the app is what I have to do. I am still definitely a JOANNs supporter, but ordering is always frustrating.
I have had nothing but problems with this app. It is impossible to get past the ever floating pop up that requires and endless chain if signing up for the emails, even after you sign up for emails..it won't close. Contacting customer support is also a dead end, so far they have charged me for the same order 3 times. Do not use this app if you cannot afford to pay 3 times what you intended on paying.
Worth downloading. Would be fantastic if there was a filter option when searching to only show results in stock at "My Store". My last search yielded a bunch of results but every single one of them said they were not available at my local store. Not very helpful when you need something same day. Otherwise, the app has been helpful. 👍
I like using this app and I do use it frequently however there are a few issues. The app doesn't allow me to add items in the shopping cart, there's always an error message when attempted. Second, when the app experiences a crash the rewards aren't always accessible which can cause a major problem. Once these issues are resolved the app will be just fine.
This app is really fantastic if you mainly use it for the weekly ad/sales, coupons, and how-to projects. The only area of this app to be improved is the search engine. I barely use it because most of the time I'll search for something that I know exists and I know the name (want to know if it's on sale) and the app tells me no results found. I've tried many ways around this (more specific, less specific, search in different category, etc.)but still encounter difficulty.
I've had this app for months and when I updated it for a "better version ", quite frankly it now is not something I wanna use! Except for my coupons in the store. I would order online and pick up in store now I have so much trouble finding items where before it was with ease. Even when I type it in the search it tells me sorry we didn't find anything ext. Did you mean..... It'll be spelt the same way I spelt it then it pulls up a complete blank page of items I know you carry. It's frustrating for me especially since I live out of town and travel to pick it up when I choose not to have it mailed.
Very helpful app for craftholics like me. The ads and the coupons are my favorite, they let you know what sales are going on and help you save by making it very easy to find relevant coupons. I love that it shows items in stock, but the only critique I have is that sometimes it's not accurate and it would help to have the isle the item is kept.
This app is mostly really great. I love that it is easy to find coupons and it stores your rewards info as well. I like that you can shop from it and it is easy to apply coupons. However, when shopping from the app, be sure to carefully check your shopping bag because it kept changing yardage amounts of my fabric selections while I was scrolling through my bag to make sure I had everything. I finally had to give up and go online to make sure I got the amounts I wanted. Also, it will show options that they say are available online, but when you get them in your cart, all of a sudden there is not enough to fulfill your order.
Its useful, however I don't think it should be necessary to log in to use any of the coupons. At least leave a couple customers can use without logging in. There is also the issue of the app acting like a perfectly good password is incorrect, forcing customers to reset the password, which seems to involve calling corporate. Which is infuriating when trying to check out.
The app just needs support for the different android devices, some older ones don't work well. I'm running the newest version on a s8. Coupons don't scan well at checkout on some phones with screen protectors, curves, etc.. it's beneficial to have the app bc this is where all the coupons are ,email and mail are different. However you can use all 3 forms in one transaction. Combine orders with friends to make the most of coupons.
Ok initially installed this app about a month ago. At first the only thing glitchy was the coupons page, which seemed to take a few days to load the info. The app page in play lists the last update on 9/13. Starting maybe 9/18 every time I tap the app to open, it immediately shuts down in error. This is really annoying for 2 reasons. 1. Obviously there are currently things i would like to purchase 2. I can't pull up the coupons for in stores shopping! 😠
Searching for something is very awkward. I had to go to the website to find an item number to search for an interchangeable knitting needle set. Frustrating. Once I found it, ordering on the app was easy. But I could have saved a bit of time ordering from the website on my laptop instead.
The app keeps crashing. I've tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling the app to resetting my phone. I sent feedback from the app crashing numerous times. I am extremely annoyed, since they have great coupons that that I would love to use and spend my money with I can't be sure the app won't launch for longer than 4 seconds.
This app used to be great but is now useless since the most recent update. It crashes almost immediately after opening. I've tried uninstalling the app, power cycling my phone, clearing the cache and app data to no avail. If it doesn't get fixed soon I'll have to uninstall what was once incredibly useful to me as the owner of a small crochet business.
I have had so many problems with this app it is ridiculous. None of the pictures load and I can't even access my coupons! I have been shopping at Joann's for years and I downloaded this app as soon as it came out. I never used to have any problems with this app until it updated and everything stopped working. Luckily, I still get coupons in my email or I would be pissed. Please fix this app! It would be a great app if it just worked properly.
