Works well, fair price. Nothing to complain about. I would love to be able to sync specific data / days, for example when I don't sleep at home I have my watch on me and would like to have that synced to Google fit.
Really good app I have a Samsung phone J series and a Huawei band 6 watch. Using this app syncs my Huawei data from the Huawei app to the Samsung phone app which is what I prefer to use. They only thing it can't do is transfer steps but that is not the apps fault, Samsung does not allow step data to be imported. 10/10 good app.
Very effective, just I wish that sumsung health will let sync steps as I am using garmin watch, and the phone is not on me all the time, steps are always off.
I have just installed the app as I am testing the apps 1) Zepp Life (Mi Band & Mi Scale) 2) Huawei App 3) Fitbit App 4) Samsung App and some other health apps. I would prefer to gather data from these sources to an Excel workbook. Then I would have a very good platform to gather historical data about steps, heart rate, weight, sleep, workouts and more distributed on health apps. In addition I would be able to compare measurements from different sources and try to find which ones are best
Unfortunately, it isn't doing the steps right from Fitbit charge 5 to Google fit so I can convert the steps to the sweatcoin app. It definitely works for other things. I tested the sleep data transfer and that is working for sure, but the steps aren't. I'm unsure if the sweatcoin app is just encouraging usage from the Google fit app, but I do have the setting turned off that I'm supposed to in the Google fit app. :( To the dev response: Thank you! I figured 😅 Was definitely hoping... 😁
I keep getting a warning that Google Fit is getting extra data but only Health Sync is feeding it data. How can I disable the warning?
Why is it not possible anymore to choose Polar as the heart rate data source? Thanks for the update, I thought it was possible.
Health Sync is an awesome app. However it doesn't inform you that its a pay to use app. After about a week or 2 it shuts down and says pay $1.99 to keep using it.
Easy to use and intuitive to use. And frankly for the price their asking its a no brainer if you need the functionality
Works great, Has said warning even after disabling google fit tracking, but it says ok for the first time after 3 months of having it.
Syncs Garmin to Google Fit. Works great and worth the small price after trial. Dev is very responsive
Does exactly what it's supposed to do! The paid version was worth the one time cost of a few dollars. Thanks!
I can't seem to get any data transferred from my Fitbit account to my Samsung health account... Health sync says it's synced but absolutely no data is added to my S heath account... A bit disappointed.
Update: This app is great. Gets my info from my Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and my Garmin. In the future I hope to see the option to have more then one profile at a time. As I use both Samsung's smartwatch and Garmin cycling tracker.
Works flawlessly to sync from Garmin to Google Fit. I changes watch brands sometimes so it's good to have a central place for my health info.
Works great but PLEASE stop notifying me about updates or give me the option to disable them. Google Play does updates automatically so it'll get to it in a day or two.
Sync between suunto app and Google Fit works only in case of steps, if you do something else like bike riding or weight training it may or may not be synced (i would say you have like 40 % chances to sync those activities).
Used to work really well for syncing Huawei Health to Strava. But it stopped working since the beginning of 2022 and has never synced any of my activities ever since. Update: After using the archive feature to resync the whole old period it now syncs correctly again.
I wish it could support more apps to sync to and to sync from like zepp and a dark mode within app. Though it's fulfilling my need of sync as I've purchased it at one time fee. And it does the job as it's supposed to. I'm thankful for creators of this app for a work around.
Read great reviews so I was hopeful this would be what I needed but less than 24 hours in and I'm not impressed. I use it to sync my Garmin tracker to the Fitbit app. Somewhere along the way, my steps are being added multiple times. Gave me about 5k extra steps yesterday and today is still adding yesterday's, also. Fitbit shows I've taken almost 34k steps today when I'm actually at 1k. Unless this fixes itself it doesn't look like this app is actually going to be what I need.
Good to show steps in fit and fit connects with pacer software coming soon Google assistant will connect Fitbit and google fit sometime this year untill then this is the best option
Absolutely fantastic customer service. I found this app and installed it yesterday to sync data from my Huawei Health app (from my smartwatch) into Google Fit. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I spent a bit of time searching the internet and followed various steps to try and resolve it. It looked like a third-party issue with Huawei but I was unable to fix it. I used the help function within the app itself to report the issue. Less than an hour later, the developer contacted me to talk about possible steps to try. We had some back and forth via email to try and get it fixed. A bug was raised with Huawei and it's since been fixed so I very much look forward to using the app. Regardless of the effectiveness of the app (I'll have to use it more to see) but the customer service alone is worth 5 stars. Thank you!
Heart rate data isn't syncing and samsung health freezes when opening heart rate page. Everything else seems to be working. I guess I have to not use it for now. Edit* recent update fixes the issue thanks.
Just started using this app about a week or two ago to sync Garmin Connect Data to Google Fit (then eventually to UHC Motion). Worked perfectly until the latest update. It used to sync immediately after Gamin Connect would sync with my watch. Now I have to manually start Health Sync. I am losing data in the chain. I hope this gets fixed soon.
Works. Syncs once day at a time. I got it for Garmin to Google and then added Fitbit to Google for the scale (it'll pass weight over but not bodyfat%). I did a bit of fiddling the first day to verify that all my info was transferred correctly (no way to find out via this app). However, it does its job. It does not do *every* app so check the list before you pick your first connection to know the options. Reasonable cost.
Always wanted an app to sync different brands with one calorie tracker. Once set up it works perfectly. Great app.
After last update, synchronisation of steps was not correct between Garmin and Google fit. I tried reconnect Health Sync to Garmin Connect, but authorisation was not successful - I saw only waiting for authorisation. Clear cache of Garmin connect, reinstallation of Health Connect din not help.
Edit: I've reinstalled the app and the steps button seems to be back. Not sure what happened, but I'm mid syncing the missed historical data and everything works the way it should now :) What happened to the steps sync? I used to sync my Galaxy watch steps to Google fit and now it's gone?
Great stuff! Allows me to use several Google-Fit-only apps with my Samsung Galaxy Watch. Setup is easy and the whole thing seems to work well.
Interfaces my Samsung Health app with Google Fit rather well. I paid the $3 for permanent subscription, because it was worth it to me. I'm really glad the tech guy at my phone carrier store knew about this little trick!
As a link between the Samsung & Google health applications, it is EXCELLENT (and affordable). I wish all devs where this thorough & thoughtful.
It would be great if you could make nutrition data from healthifyme app to sync with Google fit, healthifyme has great nutrition data suitable to Indian consumer
This allows Samsung Health to talk to Google Fit which is great. The only thing I would like is to be able to resync a range of dates rather than just single dates. Now that I understand how the historical sync works, it's not as frustrating but there were a couple of days here & there that did not copy properly. Overall, pretty happy with it. Edit - thanks for explaining how the historical data sync works. It is slowly coming across to Google Fit now that I have readjusted my sync interval.
I'm very happy I found this application! It helps connect my Samsung Health information with my Google Fit. Being able to do that allows me to synchronize with other applications that only connects with Google fit. Thank you!
Completely stopped syncing anything from April 23 2022. Given the amount of issues I've seen with this app I would not recommend.
Within an hour of leaving this review, I was receiving support. Everything is sorted. 🙂 This doesn't appear to be syncing steps accurately from Samsung Health to Google Fit. It is transferring hundreds less than the source (Samsung Health).
Works fantastically and as advertised. Easy and simple to use. Bought the pro version as it was very reasonably priced, and haven't looked back.
I have been using this app for many years. Despite new phones from different brands, watches and app releases, this always works reliabily. Very well written app.
I have been using this app for quite a while now to connect samsung health, Google fit and Strava. This really does the job! Thanks developers. 😊
Wow, I wish I had known about this earlier. It truly solves a problem I've had for the past 2 years. My Galaxy watch takes blood pressure and heart rate, whereas i track my sleep with the Google nest hub. Through this app i can have everything in one place, very useful! Edit: Forgot to mention that an added value of this app is that there are third party apps (in my case cronometer) that will integrate with certain health data providers but not with others. this app fixes that too!
Very low sync. I had another problem, Hiawei Health Montain Hike actovities is sync to Strava without map.
It works great between Garmin and Google but inbody from Korea does not sync or it's broken. I have emailed the developer and will update once I get a reply. Thanks Developer responded quickly and monitored the issue with inbody until it was resloved. Awesome job. Hoping they add Sleep Cycle app syncing if possible.
Really useful. Use it to push from Samsung health to Google fit. Samsung health app is notorious for not syncing to many companies but other fitness apps do. So I push Samsung to others and apps.
Draining my battery the last week or so, constantly trying to sync unsuccessfully. I had to restrict the battery usage to stop it draining my phone battery so its redundant now. No longer syncs with my Fitbit and google fit. I really liked this app until last week.
Enjoying the app. Works as expected. I would love to be able to sync data from one Fitbit account to another Fitbit account. (Work vs Private). If this feature could be added that would be amazing.
Good App and worked for small rides/walk sync but with longer rides and more data to sync, it did nothing! Please fix it. (I use Huawei watch to collect data and sync with strava)
This absolutely works wonderfully, every time, without fail. Really helpful keeping several different health monitoring apps up to date. Worth the very low price, one time price. Thank you
Works well to get steps from Garmin into Fitbit. I never have to do anything with it to make it work - it just quietly does its job in the background without any fuss
Being able to utilize multiple health tracking devices, and get them to all link together is so easy. Fitbit for food and h2o input tracking, and Google fit for sleep, steps, and exercise all together is so helpful.
If you have a Garmin wearable you are stuck with the Garmin app, which is pretty poor. I much prefer the functionality of Google Fit but Garmin won't sync data like heart rate etc into Google Fit. It was very easy to set up as well. For less than the price of a coffee, this app adds that functionality. It would be better if Garmin could do this out of the box, but thank you to Health sync for creating a workaround solution. If you want to give a sync you still have to do that via Garmin app.
Been using this app for quite some time and can highly recommend it if you're looking to sync your health activities and stats between multiple platforms. Mine is currently set up to sync my Fitbit scale to Samsung Health and all my Samsung Health stats to Google fit. Couldn't be easier. I didn't mind paying the small one off fee to get all the features. So worth it. Thumbs up to the developer(s) 👍
I need to uninstall and install again just to sync my previous activity from my huawei health to strava.. A lot of effort!.. Hope it will fix..
Using to sync huawei health to strava. The lack of visibility on what you're trying to sync is infuriating... I am stuck manually clicking sync for hours on end with no success in it finding my strava activity... other times it will do it immediately...? Manual selection of activities to be synced would be a great improvement so you're not wondering why it wont find the data.... Will it ever find the data...? Will I ever find out my performance on strava?
I purchased the license and satisfy with the sync result of my running/walking activity from Huawei health to Strava. I can sync the last 2 years activity. So far there's no problem. Even when move from old HP to the new one and installed it, the app automatically knew my status as one time purchaser. Thanks developer. You made a good quality app.
Simple, user friendly and effective. Does all that it is supposed to do and exactly what it is supposed to do. Worth the premium charges.
It was working great before last update. Since the last update it doesn't sync the proper information over to Google fit. And when you sync a specific day it changes the information with each sync. I don't know what has been broken, but please fix.
Very happy with this app. Does exactly what it says with no issues. Perfectly syncs my Samsung Health with Google Fit. Trial was great and didn't think twice about paying for full version
When it works it's good, but that's very rare. Usually have to go in to the app and run sync, even though it's scheduled for every 12 hours WITHOUT battery optimization.
Im using health sync to pull sleep, heart rate etc into Google fit from Garmin Connect. Works well for this. Doesn't work in reverse though, as getting weight from Google fit back into Garmin connect seems unsupported. Would love to be able to do this. Or even better, get all the body composition numbers directly from the Zepp (Mi) app.
Info sync'd from my Garmin through health sync to Google fit and then to lifesum is insanely inaccurate. Where my garmin and google fit will show my 20k steps. It only ever shows 200-300 steps in my lifesum. If i just use google fit and sync the info to lifesum. Its the accaurate 20k steps. If you're going to spam "premium" to people. You should make sure your app actually does what its supposed to do. Which it doesnt.
Got update from developer, which resolved problem I was experiencing, but had to ditch fitbit as the app i was using to record meals was not recording meals correctly so going in wrong to SH (not Health Sync fault).
Only good way to connect Huawei band 6 with google fit. For this watch i don't recommend syncing steps, let Google fit track that. Everything else works well. Exercise data, sleep, heart rate etc.
The app that you wish you didn't need, but you're glad you have discovered! This clever bit of glue sticks all the different health apps together. To the developer: thanks so much for making it and keeping it going.
EDIT: FACTORY RESET ALL PERMISSIONS ON MY PHONE AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY NOW. I have been using this to sync between huawei health and strava, and i have been rather disappointed. I have disabled every possible restriction put on huawei health kit, hms core and health sync, I've removed all battery optimisation settings, and yet i still get an error 1 in every 20 times i try to sync, and there doesn't appear to be a reason for it. It has been far from a seamless experience for me.
Saved Huawei watch for me as Strava sync is deal breaker. There where some issues on my device but Dev helped me sort it out in no time, top customer service for sure. Highly recommended to everyone looking for multi platform sync.
Does what it does in the background with minimal fuss. Just watch device manager doesn't put it to sleep.
All good, except for the occasional syncing errors. Luckily it could be resolved with the assistance of emailed instruction when I logged it.
Honestly it only get one star for being a paid app with a trial. Other then that, it would sync data from my garmin watch to Samsung health app.. but not steps
Great app to sync data from your health tracker or smart watch with different health tracking apps & services at once!
Does what it says in the tin. I've been with Fitbit for nearly 10 years and intend to continue, but being able to use Health Sync that get that data to Samsung and Google health is a huge convenience.
Paid for it, changed phone, cannot use it anymore. Tried clearing cache, reinstalling, updated all to latest (including HMS Core) but still got: HMS Core: unable to update at the moment (Error 102) from with Healt Sync. Why would it try to update HMS Core anyway, already updated?!
Finally a way to sync between Samsung Galaxy watch and Goggle fit as well as other Health Apps. Work great, not have any problem with it.
Can't import steps from TicWatch to Samsung Health on my phone. This is the main data I want to transfer so this app is pretty useless.
It is useful to connect my Samsung Galaxy watch to certain applications, but it doesn't track all of my steps.
Love this app..syncing from garmin to samsung works brilliantly... What would be good is a unified app by the same people that syncs everything so we can view everything there too...just an idea ;-)
The subscription payment thing is so slimy and deceptive. Just be upfront and charge $1 or 2 to download the app instead of doing it after I've already given up all my information
Garmin user here, works great to port stuff over to Google fit, which is compatible with a ton of apps and programs.
It assist with me being mindful of my activities. But, I wish they would go back to step counting with other programs.
Would be a perfect app if it works allow 2 sources to sync to 1 source. I use my garmin for exercise and my galaxy 4 watch for everything else. And want to be able to sync both stiffed sources to Google fit.
Why am I being prompted for paid subscription when I selected the one time payment option. If the one time payment option doesn't allow this basic sync option, then please stipulate that. I don't want recurring subscription. Please advise
Works great. The perfect answer to syncing Samsung Health to Google Fit so that Noom will sync my steps.
Works great for sending health data from Samsung health to Google fit to work with Noom. Annoying that Noom can't just work with Samsung health but this app takes care of it easily.
Good app. Only issue is sync between Samsung Health and Google Fit. It seems Google Fit shows 2-3k steps more than Samsung Health. I tried the steps to turn off tracker on Google Fit, but didn't work. Any suggestions.
Seems pretty good, but the sync from Google Fit to Strava for my runs is not including the actual gps/map/route, only the pace/heart data. Is this a bug or a limitation?
The app does not work and will not sync with the Huawei Health app. I have enabled all permissions as instructed and downloaded the Huawei app gallery, and any add-ons requested, created a Huawei account, etc. only to continue receiving a syncing error. Looks like I'll have to find another fitness tracker that actually works with my new Omada health app....
It updates my apps and works in the background. Nothing to do but set it up. After that, u kinda forget about it but see the outcome
I used this app for good 5 days no problem it sync perfectly and yesterday i decided to purchase the subscription and thats when the syncing problem appear. I ran 6km and when i sync on strava it recorded less than 3km. Edit: turns out my strava app needs an update. All is well. Thanks
Years later and Fitbits still can't handle driving and think I have a stride length of something over 17 feet long... this lets me overwrite the steps and activities on my Charge 5 with the far more accurate data from Google Fit on my phone, which is in my pocket when I'm actually walking, while still importing the rest of the C5's data into Google Fit. App's worth every penny, unlike my Fitbit.
I had to give this app a one star only cause I had too . I have a fit bit and my family is on samsung health can't do any challenges cause I don't carry my phone all tbe time and I needed a way to sync tbe info from my fit bit . So I was informed health sync was the app to link them two together. I followed directions several times and it never did sync. No I just recieved my trail period is over an I must purchase or subscribe . Why would I even purchase or subscribe to anything that doesn't
I struggled a bit with this app, but I must say that the support team is fantastic. They helped me very quickly with detailed trouble shooting. In my case, it seems my Huawei Health app does not always sync properly, which in turn affects the info it releases to Health Sync. Thanks for helping me!
It was working till last update. It's now not synching honor band data to Google fit. Update 1 - it worked after one week today. Will keep track and report in case of error
It's a great app, it's just what I've been looking for, but every single day I have to "authorise healthy sync with Strava" or something like that, and it leads me to think that if the app is supposed to syn with Strava natively, why must I do it myself? Every single day?
We love on an increasingly digitalizing world and there are numerous platforms out there providing services various services all for our health. It's a hustle combining fitness tools (phones, watches etc.) and the softwares (IOS, android, Huawei, etc.): name it yourself I can't. I have found Health Sync to be spearheading the needs of amateur fitness geeks. I am so proud of it.
The suport from the dev team is awesome!!! Downloaded the app yesterday and was having an issue getting steps to sync between Coros and Google Fit. Submitted a report and after some troubleshooting back and forth in email, the issue was resolved! All in under 24 hours!!
I've been using this app now for a good 2 years. Originally I left 4 stars and felt I've underscored this app. It does exactly what it's says and it's a really good valve for money. I use this app daily to sync to strava. My current setup is the Pro 3 watch to my s22 ultra. I had used the watch gt with Honor/Huawei phones. No issues between them. I did have one question at the start, the developer was quick to help and explain. The licence stays your app account and transfers across phones.
It worked during the free period without any sync issues. Since subscribing I haven't been able to sync, even disconnected and try to connect again without any success. Garmin Connect.
It was working fine until the last update. After that it stopped syncing data from Huawei Health app to Strava. It shows that the transfer was successful but doesn't appear on Strava.
I installed this app in hopes to sync my Huawei fit app data with Google fit, since I prefer to have all of my data in one spot. I had a syncing error which I emailed the developer, and through many exchanges to troubleshoot this issue, we were finally able to get it working! Purchased the app right away to show my support, not only for how well this app works, but for how responsive and helpful the support I received was. Thank you Hielko!
Generally a good app. Only downsides are outdated interface and long data syncing duration. I export data from Huawei Health app to Strava after an exercise. The output takes a very long time. Please, work on it. Thanks.
The app does a terrific job syncing from Samsung health to the Fitbit and Google Fit applications. The application gives you complete control over what data is synchronized and is very transparent about the synchronisation process with status indicators for each type of health data.
I really like this app but my trial period has ended and I selected the subscribe option but nothing happens. Would really love some help with this asap as am doing a Rotary District challenge for World Obesity Day which started on Jan. 24th 2022. Update: contacted support and someone responded promptly. They went above and beyond to solve the issue and I was back on track! Thank you!
At last... a health app that does the task that I want it to (syncing between apps)... and only the task that I want it to... and which doesn't try make me do anything else!!! Thank you. Perfect sync between Garmin and Google at last
EDITED - I had some issues with this app as detailed below. I emailed the developer and I received a prompt response with very clear instructions on how to fix the issue. I was very pleasantly surprised with their service and efficiency. I have changed my rating to 5 stars. Well done! ORIGINAL POST - I paid for 6 months and after 2 months it has stopped working and wants me to pay again
I can't pay for the subscription, it says there is an error when I try PayPal or my credit card. Each time I try my bank tells me I have a charge of $0 so the card works but the app isn't working to take the payment. The trial worked well up until this point!
Update 2/14/2022 the updates must have worked because now everything seems to sync properly from Garmin to google fit to my insurance app. Update: 9/2020. It's been several months now but step count has been off from garmin to google fit. Not sure what the problem is. And not sure who's at fault. Kind of frustrating. Connects Garmin 245m data to another app. Works well.
The app is worth its money. Works well and if there are issues support team responds pretty fast. Historical data sync status display might be confusing, however, yet again support team helps even with dumb questions.
Must have for Huawei / Honor bands. I recently switched from Mi Band and was worried about the Google Fit Strava sync. This app has detailed steps to take you through the initial setup process. Kudos to the Dev. Edit : Had a couple of hiccups and raised a ticket, got a response mail with a couple of hours to sort out the issue. Money well spent.
Fantastic app. Easy to use and works perfectly. Paid for the upgrade as its totally worth the price. New integrations are still being added too!
I like how I can sync from Garmin to google fit. The historical data sync is also pretty neat and well thought of. The one improvement I'd like to see would be syncing the Garmin Move IQ data too. I would love to have my cycling commute data on google fit too.
Great app. I bought premium as soon as I tried it. I look forward to more sync sources and destinations, and more items to sync.
Taking back everything I have said before. After doing my own research, instead of following everything my phone says, this app comes out great. Love the fact that I can now Sync my activities to strava, but a tiny bit dissapointed about the fact that it's paid. However, its a small price to pay for salvation. Because of the fact that it's paid, I give it 4 stars instead of 5
Works great to sync Samsung health data to Google fit. Once the data is in fit, it syncs to almost everything else, so this program is super useful. Thank you.
Simple app that ensures that data is synchronized between the various health tracking ecosystems. Runs seamlessly in the background that i rarely even remember it's there.
I use it for so many years to transfer successfully everything from Garmin app to Google fit without any problems. Every time I needed something the developers replied to me quickly and provided support. I highly recommend this app. I would love to give five stars instead of four but to be honest I dislike the user interface of the app because it seems so basic and outdated. I would love a future update on it but of course it's not a very serious reason for me to not using the app because of it
The best out there. Period. Love this app. I switch around fitness trackers left and right because I like trying all the software and differences. This app makes moving my data around wherever I want it.
I like this app a lot, it syncs up my data from Samsung apps with Google fit. Since I use a Samsung watch but a Pixel phone, I really like that I can use Google fit with the info from the watch. Once you set this app up, you'll never need to think about it again, it just works in the background.
Fantastic app that allows huawei to sync with Strava. It would be nice if it also would sync the HR graph for swimming, just like with running. The HR shows correctly, just not the graph! On Xiaomi make sure you install Huawei Health and HMS Core from the Huawei app gallery, not play store. Then install Health Sync from the Play Store. After everything is installed, make sure to disable "battery saving" and enable "autostart" of Huawei Health, HMS Core and Health sync apps in app settings.
Works flawlessly with Huawei Watch GT3 and Pixel 4a. Since this Huawei healthkit thing only allows syncing with unlocked screen I'm syncing my activities to Strava by manually pressing the sync button. Would be nice if I could disable the (for my usecase pointless) background sync fully. I set it to 12 hours for now.
I use this to bridge the gap between the worlds of Garmin and Google fit. Easy set up, after which you can forget it while it does its job. I'd give five stars if the sync could run in both directions.
I've had success with syncing accuracy, but can only sync 3 days back. Is there a reason for this? I'm trying to move my Samsung Fit data from my phone's stepcounter (not a fitness watch/device) but my Samsung account is still backed up to an email, why can't my steps be synced from further back? My historical button is greyed out too, so I don't know what that function is.
I am highly interested in the historical functions, so my review doesn't speak much to a "day forward" experience. It's an ambitious effort to straddle these API's There is a robust troubleshooting guide and a lot of awareness shared around API limitations if you take the time to read it. The User interface is intuitive considering the complexities of Updating 10 kinds of activities across 12 networks. I've been on Fit Bit, Suunto, Samsung Health and Google fit for the last 6 years and Health Sync gives me hope that I can rejoin these disparate collections of data Well done developers!
Love the app! Historical and separate water/nutrition are true life savers❤️! I really wish there was a bit more flexibility in the settings: like separate syncing (two checkboxes) for steps and excersise data; another big one would be an option to set different sync schedules for different things. Otherwise it's absolutely fantastic & essential if you need to navigate and sync different health/sports apps (and finally set MFP to read/write correct nutrition data to Samsung via Fitbit and such).
The company that makes my watch keeps removing features and adding permissions that I (and based on reviews, many other customers of the brand) find inconvenient or unnecessary. It also doesn't sync easily with other, comprehensive fitness tracking software. I was so fed up, I was thinking of trying a different watch (This would be my 3rd major smartwatch company!) Health Sync as a workaround has been a real relief! I was more than happy to pay for premium to get to use my watch as I choose.
It is functional. Does what i need it to do but it is not flexible at all. You can only choose a couple of apps and data points to conect to and that's it. It is worth it, but don't expect a lot.
Sadly, this does not work in the USA when syncing with the Huawei health app. Not really an issue with this utility, but it would have been great if there was a prominent warning somewhere. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to sideload the Huawei app gallery, core, and health app, only to find out that the app gallery is completely disabled in the USA.
Hi, can you please update the app, with multiple profiles. For exemple I use Huawei Health and Samsung health, because I own devices from both of them and it is really time consuming to switch back an forth between sync in the app. Please consider. Thank you.
Thank you for this unique and 99% app. There is room for improvement like with sync warning and errors, yet it is one of my first to have apps in my phone throughout my life.
It's the only way I've found to get activities recorded using my Huawei watch onto Strava. So if you need that, it's invaluable. Sometimes needs a couple of attempts before it successfully syncs, but it always seems to get there in the end.
Great app, simple and works well. One thing I'd like to see is notifications if a sync failed and needs attention. I did the one time purchase as it's well worth the money.
I think this app is pretty good. It is a good way to sync your data between different fitness apps. I didn't score it higher for 2 reasons: 1. Multiple instances would be good. E.G I use a Withings watch and a Coros watch for sports. Syncing between Coros App to Google Fit and having another one which syncs between Samsung Health and Google Fit would be good, so that I could wear my old Samsung Galaxy watch and all the data would end up in Google Fit. 2. Coros App to Google is very limited.
Works perfectly for Garmin to Google Fit sync. Please add functionality to switch sync up from multiple sources. I have historical data in multiple sources which I would like to consolidate in one place.
Update: changed rating from 2 stars to 5, because dev. is responsive and willing to help. Original review: Paid 4 CAD to transfer historical data. But batch sync'ing months of historical data doesn't work between Samsung Health and Google Fit. I've LG V40 with Android 9. Had to tediously sync data for each day manually, which worked. However, there is an error synchronizing the timestamp, all of the data are shifted by a day or so (apparently Samsung bug)
It is not syncing properly for me. I can see my heart rate measured in Samsung fit but for some reason it is not syncing across. A couple more things are not working aswell. Even though it says everything is okay.
Bought the premium version. Trying to sync years of data from samsung health to google fit: - very slow, syncs only days every 10 min, if even then (I have to manually refresh even though I have confirmed there is no battery optimization that would close background processes) - after 4h syncing, only 1 month of data synced - timing of steps not accurate - does not get map for all workouts Hapoy to rate higher if issues fixed
Paid and stopped working. As soon as I paid it would not sync steps from fitbit to Samsung. I've tried everything, updates, uninsalling all the apps, restarting my phone. Nothing worked. App is garbage.
Edit #2 (1/7/2022): As I said, the app is useless to me. It does NOT sync heart rate from Fitbit to Samsung Health. Congrats to all who will have their needs met by the limited number of things that this app actually is capable of doing. I have uninstalled it. Edit (1/6/2022). Of course the developer will NOT be helping me via the "Help Center," as I have used up my free trial and will not be paying for an app that doesn't do anything useful. Regardless of what his reply said, when you set the thing up, it literally TELLS YOU that it will not sync heart rate (or steps) from Fitbit to Samsung Health. This is disappointing, as I said. All he had to do was make some excuse about Fitbit refusing to share data or Samsung health refusing to take steps from other apps. That would be better than pretending that there is a way he could magically help me make the app useful. (Original Review: I was never able to use this app as it is incapable of syncing heart rate data, steps, or anything useful from Fitbit. I wish that had been made clear ahead of time. It was very disappointing, and I'll be uninstalling.)
The app works fine. I can see value in it. But it does not seem to fully do what I needed it to. I was with Fitbit, and just switched to the Samsung Galaxy Watch. We have the Fitbit Aria scale that I want to keep. I want the scale data to enter into the S Health app Samsung uses. The weight and body fat % sync fine. But no other data sends (muscle mass, body water etc.). Yet S Health is capable of displaying this data if measured from the watch. Health Sync doesn't sync this info from Fitbit.
I have contact the developer and they answer my answer promptly. I blame myself for not understand how the app work. Basically after u set up everything. It wipo just start sync from that day onward. Historical data will need to be on paid version. The trial period is 7 days which is enough to test and understand how it work. As for historical data. U need patience because it sync slowly. I purchase the withings because of the policy. I have 7 years worth of data and it sync very slow..
Doesn't sync well (if at all). Is disappointing that I need to use a small 3rd party to sync between two of the biggest tech giants in the world: Google and Samsung. I lost about 6 months of steps, which cost me to loose out on savings with my insurance company because this program stopped working.
I had trouble getting this app to sync my new Huawei Band 6 with my desired apps — actually the fault of a ridiculously complicated issue with the app for my Huawei device, not Health Sync — but Hielko patiently spent nearly a week emailing back and forth with me to solve the issue with this other app so that we could get Health Sync to work on my phone. Hielko went WAY above and beyond and you'll never find that kind of dedication to customer service anywhere else! Thank you again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💯
Easy to set up. I'm using to bridge Samsung Health to WW app via Fitbit. Syncs from Samsung Heath to Fitbit great. There is some sort of glitch between fitbit and WW where the syncs show cumulative instead of total. Ex: sync 4000 steps, walk 4000 more. Correct in Fitbit. Instead of showing 8000 total in WW it shows 12,000 (4+8).
This app is perfect. Thanks to developers. You covered up everything what I didn't like for Huawei Smartwatches. First, syncing to Strava. Second, when an activity is uploaded on Strava, as Huawei smartwatches don't have auto pause option, all segments when I ride and don't press on pause, speed is 0. These regions are cuted by Health Sync and uploaded without these "zero speed" segments. Thank you a lot! Without this app I would trash my smartwatch.
Seems good so far, will update review after I use it some more. I really wish there was a setting to only sync when I manually want to sync.
I suspect a lot of hard work has gone into refining this app & it shows. A well presented, simple & intuitive interface along with reliable functionality. I have purchased the pro version. Less than a cup of fancy coffee & the developer will be supported o continue adding to it. One request (if it's even possible).. Could the Welltory health app be added to the list of available apps to sync to? That would give many users the option of avoiding the unreliable Google Fit as a mediator app.
It was working fine for the 1st day, then the app just hangs at the Fitbit authorization page (yeah, asking to re-authorize again?!) and I can't sync my google fit data to Fitbit. even when if it does work, I don't think I would want to re-authorize every time it has a problem. I don't think the fitbit server is down because everything works fine on their side. I reinstalled it and still the same thing.
Has been working flawlessly! :) Sometimes new updates to the Huawei Health breaks the connection, but usually a simple reboot fixes the problem. Also at first I had some trouble with the Huawei Health not showing Health Sync in its 'shared services'. The solution was to first back up(*) my Huawei Health data to the cloud and then clearing the data & cache of both apps. (*DISCLAIMER: If you don't back up the Huawei Health fitness data before clearing its data, you will lose all that fitness data)
-- Update-- Fast response feom Dev. Look forward to new features. -- Update -- Thanks for the quick reply. I have reported the problem thru the app. -- Update -- Does NOT sync well with Samsung Health with Outdoor Running. Huawei app shows 4.01km / 23:02 but Samsung Health shows 4.92km / 25:12. Huge discrepancy! Please fix! Test trial this after buying a Huawei GT2 Pro. Syncs reasonably well to Strava. With the app's one time price + the cheaper Huawei hardware, it's a pretty good combo.
Great app to link data between Google fit & Samsung Health. Specially I like the feature to transfer oxygen saturation from Google fit to Samsung health because Samsung watch active2 no longer supports oxygen saturation by saying "your location not supported". Thank you so much to the developer's of this app bringing this great feature. One of the issue is the sync frequency. It syncs the same data again and again to Samsung health between each sync interval.
Health Sync works great and does its job as expected. However, I do not find it acceptable to have to pay for another lifetime license or a subscription (this subscription ideology everyone has lately needs to stop) after I already paid for a lifetime license. And taking away functionality to make this new secondary subscription is unacceptable. Thankfully I was only using weight sync for Withings, and with them natively syncing weight to Samsung, it's a decent workaround.
Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't (yet, hopefully) support syncing heart rate data FROM Fitbit. I have to use FitToFit for that, but outside of it this is perfect. I love that syncing doesn't have to go only one direction, which is a downside of FitToFit, so my openScale can sync to Google Fit can, though this app, sync to Fitbit, and then all other Fitbit data can sync back into Google.
Thank you for this app! Most of the time the sync works perfectly. But I just noticed yesterday that my step counts for the night before in Garmin and Google Fit are different, despite today's step counts are on the same page. Not sure if a later sync will resolve itself. I'll keep monitoring it.
The only way to get my Samsung wearable data into Loseit. Shame my favorite wearable and favorite tracking app aren't compatible out of the box but so thankful health sync finally allows me to track my exercise in loseit automatically again by syncing samsung to Google health and linking loseit from there. Works well and always alerts if something has gone wrong. A+ utility for those like me!
App works very well for syncing data into Strava! I was able to specify a date range and it's been slowly importing my data from Samsung Health into Strava. Health Sync was useful for syncing my steps when my company had a step challenge too. I had an issue with my purchase and their support quickly resolved it too. Buy the paid version if you need syncing ability, it's worth it.
FINALLY! Something that can sync data from one service to the next so I don't have to wear my smartwatch, a Fitbit, and a tracker for my insurance. It was so annoying because they would always have different numbers which my brain refused to accept and bothered me so much. This app was a godsend! Edit: The dev replied to my review within minutes of me writing it and let me know how to add sync services. The app is amazing but the customer service is better!
It seems like it could be a very useful app if it didn't require that no other app be connected to your Google fit account for it not to constantly give you a warning. It needs to be able to not just receive data from another health app such as Samsung Health but also to send it, because on the rare occasion that the watch has to be on charge you can simply turn on tracking in the Google fit app to track steps but that data isn't transmitted to the other health app.
This app is amazing and I'm so glad it exists. I am able to send data missing data from Samsung Health to Google Fit, and then the other way around for other things, keeping both apps in sync. This is important to me because I have another health app and a Wyze scale that can only pull/push data to Google Fit, but most of my health stats come from Samsung Health, as I have a Samsung phone and watch.
I really like this app. It allows you to use multiple apps to keep track of fitness goals, since I have yet to find one app that does everything I want. I would like it if Steps and Exercise could be two completely separate sync categories. I also wish more things would sync both ways, but I suspect that is a weakness in the apps being synchronized rather than a fault of this app.
I have a Pixel phone and prefer the Google Fit app, but my smartwatch is a Samsung Galaxy. This app works perfectly to sync the data from my watch to Google Fit. I did the 7 day free trial and then bought the app about a month ago, and haven't had any issues. The instructions and interface for setting everything up are very clear and easy to understand.
Easy to get up and running. Smooth sailing until trial ended. Didn't purchase right away, explored alternatives. Health Sync is very basic compared to a competitor which is more my style. That app offered more services, data and customization - unfortunately, some info syncing over to G Fit was inaccurate. Deal breaker. I came back around and purchased Health Sync. It's functional and does what it says. Consistent, accurate and syncs FAST. I know I can trust and depend on it working correctly.
Health Sync works a treat. This is exactly how I wish all software could be. It works fantastically well with no fuss whatsoever. When I had questions (because I'd messed up the way fitbit was getting info) the developer got back to me right away and solved my problem with exactly the kind of fast, friendly, helpful service never found at big companies. The whole experience was so excellent I've written this review, and I almost never write reviews. Ten stars out of five👍
This app allowed my Samsung Health step information to sync to Google Fit after MANY other routes failed to provide a full step count! It did not work correctly for the Hospital Health app until I checked the alternate step count box, so try that if it seems you are losing steps. It worked perfectly after that. I had an issue with getting mine licensed and the developer was fantastic to work with! I was provided with many options to try until the problem was solved. It was greatly appreciated!
Works exactly as expected! I recently switched from Fitbit to a Galaxy watch and didn't want to lose my history, and also wanted flexibility to switch back in the future. Plus I like Fitbit's weight and food tracking ng better than Samsung's. So far this seems to work great! I record steps and exercise on Samsung and weight and food on Fitbit. The data flows between both services just fine so far
1 star not because it doesn't sync my information, but because of the false advertising. Had I known that I was going to have to pay for services from the start, I would of done it as I need this app to sync my info. What I did not appreciate, was the surprise message telling me that my 7 day "free" trial was ending. At what point in time during the process did you let me know my initial download was a trial. I am 100% certain that it said free. At no point was I told it was a trail. BeUpfront.
This app has truly made my life easy. I use fitbit, samsung health, and google fit. It is able to transfer as much information as possible. Especially since each company limits third party integration, this app has been capable of transferring what I need whenever possible. For example: fitbit has a better nutritional tracker but I have a samsung watch. So sometimes I have my watch to record water. Then I swap for fitbit to record my food and scan foods. Also, great support response time.
Love the app It solves the problem of getting information from so many places into the app of your choice. Worked well on initial setup. Had a question on a difference between the setup on my vs my wife's phones. I emailed and expected to wait overnight for a response to move forward. I got my response in minutes. I mean, who offers that level of support nowadays??? Impressed with the app and especially impressed with the support.
This app is doing an excellent job of syncing all my health data from my Samsung watch to other sources that don't accept data from Samsung such as MFP, FBit, GFit, etc. so it can be extrapolated to things like Echelon to track my full fitness picture. It's non-intrusive on my phone and worth the small fee. Love it. Highly recommend.
Great app! Android/Google/Samsung is a bit of a mess when it comes to fitness & wellness tracking apps. With this I was able to actually have a pretty comprehensive dashboard by syncing sleep, nutrition, work outs, step tracking from multiple sources. It still takes a bit of time to tweak the Health Sync and native sync options from other apps before you can aggregate all the data, but the developer can't do anything. Great job! Idea: create a HSync dashboard because Samsung/Fit's kinda suck.
Next update: problem was solved. Update: was contacted by the developer. Very good response. It seems issue is with Fitbit. So I am updating my review to 3 starts (still does not do what I want - but update is coming). I will update on the future events. +++ORIGINAL REVIEW+++:: Had very high hopes. I need to move step data from Samsung Health to Fitbit app. However cannot past the authorization with Fitbit (able to login into my account and get stuck right after). Tried about a dozen times.
I absolutely love this app. I only have a few things I'd like to see improved (if possible). 1. Most important: nutritional data syncing from Fitbit to Samsung Health. While calories are syncing, I'm not getting nutritional data synced. 2. If possible, I'd like to see blood pressure sync from My BP Lab 3. I'd love to sync more often than once per 10 minutes. The faster, the better.
This app has been a technological godsend. When I first got my Samsung Watch and couldn't sync to Google Fit, I had some concerns. Very happy that I found this app and got it installed. Thus far there's only been one problem with the app, and that was when some the data was either doubling up or not syncing at all. Turns out that was due to having a Google Fit option still set to sync. Once I turned that off the app worked like a charm.
TLDR; Works great and fantastic customer support. This app does exactly what I need it to do. I was pointed to this app by a Reddit user. My ultimate goal was to sync my steps from my 'Garmin Forerunner 645 Music' to Google Fit (in order to track my runs for Pokemon Go, without carrying my phone with me). On my initial install, I tried it out with the trial and things worked like they should. The app does a great job of walking you through the setup process (which varies depending on the apps you're syncing.) After my trial was up, I encountered an issue when attempting to purchase the lifetime license of the app, so I reached out to support. Hielko walked me through troubleshooting steps until the issue was resolved and it's now working great. I'd definitely recommend this app to anyone aiming to reliably sync or export health data from sources that otherwise won't allow them to do so.
I use WW (the Weight Watcher's app) and my fitbit bit the bullet. I use this app to transfer my activity from Samsung health to fitbit, and finally to WW. The problem is when syncing to WW I am getting WAAAY to many fitpoints. It shows the correct amount of steps, but Health Sync is splitting those up into seprate walks. I wish I knew how to fix this so my points would be accurate.
The historical data feature was great when I migrated off of Samsung Health. I was able to take my full 2 years of data with me. The FitBit sleep sync is also the best I could find. This app only transfers time in light, deep, or REM as sleep; other apps aren't as smart since they also count awake periods in the total sleep time count. The 2 different times can vary greatly if your an insomniac. The only issue it that Health Sync can't sync any pulse data from a FitBit (though they are working on it). Personally, I use this app to sync sleep and another to sync pulse since accurate sleep time is important to me.
The limitations of this app are primarily driven by the limitations or permissions of apps you are syncing with. If data is not being sent, it is most likely not a problem with the Health Sync app itself. This app does exactly as advertised and fits my data needs. Most importantly, the developer responds to any questions posed and in a very timely manner. All of my questions/concerns have been addressed within a couple of days or less.
Not being allowed to sync steps between fitbit and samsung really upsets me. I'm not sure who's end is at fault for this. I paid for the app last month because I enjoyed the challenges that samsung created for the month, and now I can no longer participate. Although certain aspects still work to sync, it's just not working for me, and I'll be uninstalling.
Worked great for a week, but after I paid for it, then not so much. Had a good of use, but now, it seems my Garmin has stopped synching and I have to have my phone on me to count my steps on Google Fit. I have activity tracking on Google Fit off, but it still will not synch. 8/29/20 Update. After getting in contact with Health Sync, they were able to walk me through my issue and resolve it. It was a process, but they were patient and knowledgeable.
I've been looking forever for a way to sync my galaxy watch to other health apps, specifically fitbit, so I'm not wearing two trackers like a goober. Thank God for this! I set it up in the trial, it worked right away, and I didn't even need to wait the full trial period to know I was going to pay for this app. If you have. Galaxy watch and hate how Samsung doesn't play well with others this is the app for you.
Since Google Fit is unreliable, have to rely on Samsung health which isn't compatible with Lose it! Health Sync to the rescue! Love that. One star off for not being compatible with much else. It's a too long story of all the apps I have to use to get my tracking data for various types of workouts into one desired place. If Health Sync were more broadly compatible, it would simplify my life. (In fairness, if my workout apps were more compatible, I wouldn't need Health Sync!)
Not only does app do exactly what I need (syncing Samsung Health data with Fitbit), but the support I received has been unbelievable! The developer answered my questions incredibly quickly, even early Sunday morning. Turns out it was my own error in configuration that was the issue - not the app. Well worth the money spent!!!!
Loving this already so I already paid for the app. What I would love to see though is the ability to sync from multiple sources to others all the time. I primarily use samsung fitness devices, but I'm looking at getting a garmin legacy and would love to have that data being synced out, while also still recieving the zombies run data I get from google to samsung
Very effective. Could be a bit clearer (it's rather sparse) but a great solution. I use it with Google fit, Samsung health (and watch), Withings body+ scale (and app) and to be fair, it let's them all sync pretty well. Weight, heart rate, workouts, everything you'd expect. Occasionally it sends mysterious warnings but normally that means you just need to prod it to sync again. Happens pretty rarely. Very good app.
I use this app to sync my Garmin data to Google Fit. It worked great on my Samsung Galaxy S8, but since upgrading to the S10, I've had difficulty getting the app to recognize that Garmin Connect is syncing, which means that Health Sync is not capturing the data to push to Google Fit. I have tried disabling all of the battery saving "features" that Samsung utilizes, but still can't seem to get the app to sync the data with any regularity. Just for reference, on my S8, it would sync multiple times throughout the day and everytime I hit the manual sync button in Garmin Connect, but on the S10 it seems the best I can do is about one sync per day, and even that is hit or miss. There is no option to force a manual sync in the Health Sync app if you're using Garmin as the source data, so the fact that it doesn't detect when Garmin is syncing makes the app ineffective. EDIT: Apparently the issue was related to the SmartSwitch when I transferred the apps from my S8 to S10. I was able to resolve the issue by completely uninstalling both apps and starting over from scratch. It's now working as expected. Just FYI - in this case, it had nothing to do with the battery saving settings. Back to 5 stars!
The only thing made my Garmin Fēnix and Connect feel incomplete was the lack of native Google Fit synchronization. Health Sync has bridged that gap! It works in the background to seamlessly synchronize the databases you want in the direction you want, e.x. from Connect to Fit and vice versa. You are guided through setup step by step, even opening up your device settings for you when a change is required. The "Help Center" is a FAQ that shows the developer is engaged. Professionally done.
I like this app a lot and am glad to have purchased it. It works pretty much as advertised except for one thing: I'm using it to sync step data from Garmin Connect to Google Fit but the step count is consistently under synced. Right now I have 8061 steps in Garmin and only 7960 in Google Fit. This is not too big of an issue but it does mean I don't have a consistent step count, which can be problematic.
Works surprisingly well. I use it to sync from Samsung Health (from watch-gathered data) to Google Fit. After the initial setup, it has worked transparently and seamlessly in the background. I can easily kick off a manual sync, but the default intervals work fine. Syncs steps, workouts, pulse, sleeping, weight. I have confidence that my history will be archived in Google Fit even if I switch away from Samsung Health in the future.
This now works pretty smoothly between Fitbit, Google Fit, and Samsung Health. Enough so that during the trial I became a paid user and deleted two other apps that was doing data transfer. The developer listened and added individual settings for different criteria, which has made this app perfect to me for data transfer. I'd love future integration requests to be added in for other 3rd party devices.
Awesome app helps me sync my Samsung gear s 3 to other apps which was what I needed for a step challenge I have for work. It does so much more just wish Fitbit played better with everyone else doesn't show steps so I sent an email and they responded fairly quickly explaining what I needed. Either way just needed it to sync from my watch to samsung health to google fit that will sync to stridekick. Sounds like a lot but does it perfectly. Can't wait to see what the future holds for this app.
This app has helped me so much. I struggle sometimes because I like how Google fit syncs your ecosystem but surprisingly mainstream activity trackers don't always sync with it and google fit lacks at showing some vital information (especially in sleep). This app works so smooth and seemlessly. Many thanks to the developer. It's a no-brainer for anyone trying to consolidate their health all in one place with the freedom of device choice.
Perfect solution to multiple tracker sync. This app just got 5x better by letting you split what trackers go to what app instead of just to 1 other app. I have multiple fitness trackers, but not all will talk to each other, this fixes that issue and works very well. I have Samsung gear trackers that won't sync with Google fit and Withings devices that won't sync with Samsung. Now they can all sync together though this app. 5*'s.
Great app for syncing S-Health and Fitbit! I recently switched from using a Fitbit Versa to a new Samsung Watch for LTE connectivity; S-Health doesn't support connected apps anymore, with the exception of Strava, so I was happy to find this app! I didn't want to miss out on all the challenges with my friends still on Fitbit. After reading reviews and trying the 7 day free version, I opted to make the unlimited $2.99 purchase. My only complaint is that it DOES NOT SYNC FLOOR DATA. Please update!
Works as advertised I have a Garmin Vivoactive 3 and an Android phone with the LoseIt diet app and Garmin Connect. I also have Google Fit. Garmin Connect syncs with LoseIt well enough on its own but I needed a third party app for Connect to sync with Google Fit. Health Sync does an great job walking you through the steps to do so, with easy to use toggles to set it up. I had no problem purchasing the app for a one time fee. Well designed and easy to use.
Thank you so much for this app! It does exactly what I need it to. I transfer my data from samsung health to fitbit. It does not transfer heart rate but that's not a huge con for me. Also the dev team is pretty great. I emailed them about a specific issue I encountered and they got back to me within the hour.
I paid for the subscription as it sounded like a great idea. But when it tries to sync with Fitbit, it tells me I need to get permission, sends me to Fitbit, I sign in... And it just spins. Hope you can fix this as I think you have a very useful app if it does what it says it will. ** Follow Up: I appreciated the response and ongoing work of customer service which did fix the issue. Good work!
After a bit of an issue getting Garmin Connect to sync up, it's working great. I am syncing from Garmin Connect to Samsung Health and Google Fit. I would recommend doing a manual Connect sync if you rename a workout in Connect. Great tool to keep everything up to date across my fitness apps. >>response to developer, manual sync, hitting the Garmin sync button - it actually works with no issue. Not forcing your app to sync.
I basically have to pay to sync data. That's ridiculous. For the amount of money you'll be spending per month over the course of the time you use the fitness apps. You might as well just buy a secondary fitness tracker that syncs to google fit. Very upset that they make you pay for something that should be free.
No longer synchronizes data from Google Fit to Samsung Health. This worked perfectly on my Note 9 at first. Now it give an error everytime it tries to sync. I have tried the suggestion to turn off battery optimization for the app with no success. It seemed to happen after nutrition data was added to the list of data that can be synchronized.
All in all its a GREAT cross platform syncing app I use this app to sync Garmin data with Google Fit and works pretty much as advertised, I think it syncs automatically but I do like to do it manually everyday. Not giving 5 stars just becuase random sync error notifications when there are no errors. App is regularly updated and kept current too.
Great app! Works great to transfer data from Samsung Health to GoogleFit. Despite Samsung accidentally removing permissions on August 30 2019, Health Sync stayed on top of things and was able to create a workaround for the time being. The app works just fine with the work around. I am grateful to the hard work and all the efforts to the Health Sync team.
The app was working great until today. Now it keeps telling me that I need to update the permissions for Samsung Health. I tried that but it didn't work. Update: I tried uninstalling both Health Sync and Samsung Health. No change. I can't enable anything. All sync options are disabled. Second update: I tried the workaround and it worked perfectly. My app is syncing again. Thanks for your help!
Fantastic and useful app to sync from Fit to Samsung Health. However, after the last update, I keep getting Samsung Health Sync Error. I do everything the app says and it never works. Not sure if it's merely a UI bug. Doesn't sync anything anymore. Cleared data and reinstalled, still no go. Something has broken here server side. UPDATE: after workaround, works. thanks. updated rating. love the app hope Samsung fixes this.
Edit: I've updated my rating to 5 stars for the fantastic support from the developer and the fact I really do love the app! Original review below, but as they note Samsung made a change that took away granular permissions control and thus stopped the app from accessing the data even though "All Permissions" was given. They have helpfully provided the workaround on their site which entails turning on Developer's Mode in Samsung Health. (an option I didn't know existed even!) --==Original Review:==-- Application did great until i received the August Android security patch this morning, now it won't sync anything. All permissions are granted in Samsung health and reinstalling does not resolve it and allow it to sync again. Again, it worked until the latest Android security update. Samsung Galaxy S8, Android v.9
Works as advertised. One hour after submitting this excellent review, the app stopped syncing between Google Fit and Samsung Health. I've followed instructions and reset everything but not working anymore. Not sure what happened, but not as pleased as before. Updated review, 8/31/19. 5 stars for the quick response from the developer and a great workaround. Working normally again.
Works well, sometimes there is a lag with the app communicating with Google Fit, but it does migrate the steps, heartrate and BP from my fitness band to Google fit which then sends it to Samsung health, sometimes you have to sync the app several times before the info migrates to Google Fit. Overall it does what it says it does. UPDATE: thank you for the work around! It's back to working perfectly! The developer option trick worked. Thanks again for your help!
This app has worked fine all year until the last update. It stopped syncing and today it keeps telling me to enable Samsung Health. Everything is enabled. Nothing has changed. Im not sure why it has stopped syncing. Disappointed. Edit: I did the work around and so far so good.
App stopped syncing with Google Fit a few days ago. This is very frustrating because I track my steps as part of a competition. Health Sync is the 3rd party app to connect the other apps. Didn't I pay for this app??? I tried the work around that was recommended. However, everytime I click on "about Samsung Health," it just opens that section on the settings up.
UPDATE: received an email from the developers of the application explaining everything very clearly! FOR THOSE WITH THE SAME ISSUE: Read the product description Original: Everything worked great until yesterday. After that, it refuses to sync from samsung health to google fit. Heres a google photos library of those issues: I hope its resolved quickly. Otherwise, its been working great. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
Works when it wants to. And since I actually paid for this app I expect it to work. This app stops working on a regular basis. It stops syncing with Samsung health and Google Fit ALL OF THE TIME! I get errors telling me that something in my settings has changed when nothing has changed. The app doesn't work right, that's the problem.
The Health Sync app did work at first syncing from S Health to Google Fit. But now, it shows an error about S Health requiring permissions to sync.... But 'All Permissions' is selected for syncing. It says to scroll down but there is nothing to scroll down too. So now the app is totally useless. Not sure if an update to one of the apps killed syncing but the app doesn't work as advertised now.
Good app to communicate between apps. I use this app to have my Samsung Gear watch steps to be synced with Google Fit and Vitality Apps. For Samsung Health Users, You have to click 10 times on the version number (not the word 'version') that you see in the About page of Samsung Health. Then click on the Samsung Health version number. Click continuously until you see that *(Developer mode)* is added to that same line (left to the version number). Once that is done you can enable sync in app.
Not consistent enough to be worth paying any amount of money for. Tried the app out for the free 1 week trial period. Days 1 & 2 I had sync error messages, but after changing some settings in Google Fit, it synced fairly accurately for about 2 days. then started giving error messages again. The free trial period wasn't long enough to figure out if the the app was going to be easy to use or if I could fix it again.
It's able to sync between many different health/fitness services. The UI is minimalistic and functional. Sadly for Fitbit (at least) it's limited to only 4 metrics (steps, weight, sleep, activities) leaving out Heart Rate, Body Fat, Distance and Food. I know it's currently possible to read that data through the Fitbit API so it seems to be an app shortcoming rather than Fitbit API limitations. Still a good app and hopefully they'll fix that shortcoming soon.
App works as described. I was transferring data from S Health to Google Fit and it synced over essentially flawlessly. However, my specific reason for doing this was Pokemon Go Adventure Sync and it will not add the distance that is synced over. The tracking for G Fit was turned off so I know the sync is functional as the distances and steps are the same between the two health apps but for some reason pokemon just doesn't like it. No distance is tracked at all. Any suggestions?
This app doesn't sync properly. It's missing about 10-20% of my steps when syncing from Samsung Health on my S10+ to Google Fit. It's also changing the workout types. For example, a morning walk was turned into front raises by this app, and now I can't fix it. Great idea for an app, but it just doesn't work with Samsung Health. A friend also tried syncing with his Galaxy S6 to his own Google fit account and ran into the exact same problem.
No complaints. I like using Samsung Health because it pretty much does everything in one app, but I couldn't figure out how to sync it with my Garmin Vivofit 3 until I found this app. Now everytime my watch syncs with Garmin Connect this app automatically sends the data to Samsung Health for me. I mostly use it to send my steps and walking, but it does also sends other info, like my sleep pattern, too which is pretty cool. It's well worth the purchase price in my opinion.
It messed up all my Fitbit data by adding steps in between 12am and 1am every night by thousands of steps. Was definitely sleeping... don't do it. Editing based on response from developer... it doubled my steps most days from what they were before. I figured it would be able to tell where phone and fitbit recorded the same steps. I can't get it to go back. Pretty big bummer.
Update: their response has nothing to do with my review. I'm not complaining about historical data transfer, new data won't transfer either. In other words, the app doesn't do anything. Doesn't transfer data between Samsung health and Google fit like it claims it does. And it's only a week long trial, after a few days it starts warning you that you have to pay. For an app that doesn't work anyway.
It used to sync Samsung to Google Fit on all items but after the latest update it says error and won't check mark any items to sync. I bought subscription years ago now I can't sync my Samsung to Google Fit anymore and my paid subscription is now useless. Please fix. Update: Received an email within 10 minutes after contacting support. Very responsive and helpful! I noticed that you have to keep syncing manually until all the history is synced. Hopefully option to fully sync in future. Thanks!
The idea of the app is good, but the execution seems flawed. I followed the instructions to the letter, yet I am left with duplicates, getting 50 or so readings inserted into my Samsung Health App over the course of 40 minutes (four syncs), even though my watch does not read my pulse that often. Furthermore, comparing the Google Fit data with the Samsung Health data clearly shows that the imports are excessively inaccurate. I was considering buying this until these errors presented themselves.
I ran into some errors the first couple of days, but there was a message in the app that said that it was expected and would work the next day. Low and behold, the next day it synced perfectly! Since then I have had no errors, it syncs all of my workouts/runs, and I am very pleased with the results!
Great app, allows me to get vitality points at work without a fitbit. I only give 4 stars for now because it will only do the auto sync for one at a time. I'd like it to do auto sync for multiple apps at once. For example Samsung health to both fitbit and Google health, for now I have to switch them up and select all options again daily to keep all of them updated. Add multiple simultaneous sync options and you get 5 stars.
This app works really well transferring selected data from one app to one other app. If that's what you are looking for, look no further! This is it. I am slightly disappointed I can't do multiple transfers, even by paying for a license. I want to transfer most of my Google fit data, except the steps, to Samsung Health, and then send just Samsung Health's step data to Google Fit to fully sync, and if that is ever an option I can implement, I will update my rating and comment to a solid 5 stars.
Works great if I run it three times. I have to open both Samsung app and Google Fit and run this app three times to get a sync status of ok. I've followed the warning and error fixes but nothing worked until I synced with the apps all opened when doing it manually. First time is an error, second a warning, and third say OK.
Great app! The constant updates are great. Currently going from Samsung health to Google fit. I wanted to keep my data synced just in case I move away from the Galaxy watch, which only works with s-health. Health Sync has had no issues so far for me. Just had to make sure to follow all steps. GS8 + galaxy watch. s-health >g-fit.
Works to Sync data between Google Fit and Samsung Health(SH). Only problem is that Steps are still being counted by SH from the phone and can't be turned off. SH does let you filter which step count is viewed (SH, Health Sync, or both) however if you try and export SH steps into FitBit it takes both. Which is almost double and not accurate. It would be great to go straight from Google Fit into FitBit. Also having the ability to have multiple syncs setup to keep all 3 services synced the same.
Current: The installation experience can be confusing as it requires actions that may not surface automatically. That said, I was able to get the app working and it appears to be syncing as designed. There does appear to be discrepancies in step counts and other stats but I'm not sure this is the apps fault. Rating changed to reflect current experience. Thanks Previous: Doesn't seem to work with current version of Samsung Health from my new gen 4 fossil q explorist running the latest version of Wear OS. I'll try again after next update. Thanks
pretty terrible sync feature. explanation of samsung counting too many is weak at best, with no evidence. will definitely NOT BUY. I don't really care if you think your calculations are better, it should read the sreos from my Gearfit and sync the data that is read from that rather than going by sime arbitrary, unexplained algorithm in the app that doesn't actually include a wearable device.
This app would be perfect if it worked perfectly. The auto sync almost never works. After it fails I have to manually press sync then in works. Sometimes, that doesn't even work. I gave an extra star because the developers seem to care and want to help. If the auto works 100% I would give 5 stars To the developers response- I do not have any power saving modes on. I added fit and Sync to a white list for battery utilization. If that works, I'll buy the app and give 5 stars. Thank you.
It's not a bad app. I recently bought a Samsung Gear Watch and I wanted to be able to have stuff on my Google fit. Everywhere recommended this app. It works just like it's supposed too for the most part. (slight issues getting things to go back and forth once when I wanted stuff to go to Samsung Health.) But I think 99¢ every 6 months or $2.99 to permanently buy it is way more than the utility it provides.
Subscription Service? Really? If you're not going to advertise that you should just charge for the app. I'd prefer having to watch an add than be "surprised"by a required subscription. For me this app did not work well enough for me to pay for it anyway. I needed to go and allow permissions on a few different occasions during the "trial". Deleted app.
Samsung galaxy s8 user here. Does what it says, now that I'm synced with fit finally I may just use that from now on though. Please add an option to enable/disable sync because besides unselecting the check boxes there doesn't seem to be a function for this and I am unsure if it will continue trying to sync even with the boxes unchecked (this was unclear). Thanks
