Uber has to have more in depth description on how to access options, on what you can do as driver at each level, opportunities shown are, from my experience, not for the Blue level, etc. You have to be above Blue to be in the queue at airports. I get messages to see what riders are saying about my service but I can't access them. I select an opportunity to get $2.00 extra for each ride during a certain time frame; didn't get anything extra for the 5 rides I did. User Friendly app would be great

Uber allows you to choose when you want to work , no commitment . They're the only driving app I've seen do this . Their ' customer ' service ( for drivers ) is impeccable . They also offer many great benefits like insurance , education , deals etc. Overall a great job !

First time I used it was fine. I tried again today. The gps has gotten far worse, the app will ping you nonstop even if you exit the app or swipe left on a notification. I accidentally accepted two deliveries i didn't want trying to get it to quit dinging. I would turn the volume down but the app turns it back up. The deliveries I had today are awful for the amount being paid. Spent an hour and a half to make 8 dollars. Easy sub minimum wage. I'll never deliver for uber again.

The document submission is a pretty big pain, if you select the wrong file you have to wait for the document to be rejected before re-uploading it. I also wish the app would show where you are in the consecutive trip counter, since this would help time breaks better and not interrupt a consecutive trip series It takes way too long to switch cities, and it takes another 10 days to get promotions in the new city

I don't understand why I have to hard reset my phone after every single call 8f I want to see the continually updating "heat map" or bonus areas. After EVERY SINGLE CALL I have to do the hard reset or I do not get current info. I re downloaded the app. I cleared the cache on the app. Is there something else I can do so I continually get updated heat map and bonus areas without resetting my phone. It used to work everytime all the time. I've been on uber for over 5yrs and never had to do thus bef

1. "Lovely" pop-up offers. You are using another up or about to go offline, but suddenly you have accepted something... without even checking it. 2. Pop-up offers Do not show the map for the offered trip (if you are on current delivery or on another app) 3. Now, chances you have to drive a Bizarre distance. Yes, chances that customer paid to cover your spending of time and gas. But how to back? Today , I had 3 trips, where I literally had to drive 10+ miles back from the delivery for free.

Its like uber don't want to make money. After going into documents section, there is no option available to upload anything. Screen just blank. Have screenshot to shows. Customers service think everyone is stupid.. told them again and again that I uninstall/reinstall/reset phone/everything and its still the same.. Customers service just ignore your problem and instead keep telling you the basic which doesn't help.. don't even attempt to look into screenshot and realize the issue.. sigh

A big problem I have with this app is that if the app isn't currently focused (ie: you're using another app while uber driver is in the background) the offer window doesn't show me any valuable information. It says offer amount and distance to pickup location, not total trip distance. This is done intentionally to encourage drivers to accept any and every offer that comes their way, but gas is too expensive now days to accept "bad" orders. Pretty shady and its been like this for years now

Absolutely terrible customer support. I haven't been able to go online even though I've submitted all my documents and they're approved. I've got the app set up properly. The best they can do is ask me to try something that I've already done! The worst they can do is say it's all good and I should be able to go online, when I obviously can't. I've even been escalated to the next level of support but all they could say is "everything looks good. You should be able to take trips".

From since all the changes, they seem to be taking more than 25% commission. I make so much less than I use to. I make so much more on other apps. I waste petrol because it seems like they don't have passengers. I drove from one borough to another today, without getting a fare. NOT IMPRESSED!

The navigation in this app suck. It gave me a drop on a main street where there fences and bushes, no houses. This happens often. Also sends you around in circles and long route. Gas is to expensive for this. I live in the DMV area and the beltway is not an option.

Buggiest app i ever met. This is some real b.s. as far as apps with gps go. And in June 2022, the driver app STILL takes control of your phone.The order opportunity should run in the background, not stop me from answering important calls, etc by forcing me to look at it Also, sending orders and the app takes over while are delivering your last order, totally blocking your directions while driving, so dangerous for drivers! The Uber app should just send a notification like the door dash app does.

I love this type of job and really like working for Uber but if it would tell you where the trips destation is, it would be awesome!! But the app keeps cutting out when your in the middle of driving someone to there destation and that sucks and is very distracting!!! Please if there is anything I can do to help this please let me know. Is there a way to find out the destination before picking up the person????

I do not suggest using this platform anymore. If it works for you then great but between the app and customer service I have NOT had a good experience. Reps keep saying " case has been escalated" in regards to an issue I had and to wait 3-5 days. It's been 2 and a half weeks. It's literally like they are programmed to say 1 thing and 1 thing only. If uber responds to this like they do everything else, I'm not filling out a form. They are not be proactive in resolving issues

Decent app, the issues with it is when I try to go online I have to keep taking courses accepting terms, then the map confusing me sometimes, even when I try to accept a uber eats order it loads so damn slow and freezes that I have to restart my phone in order for it to come up I had to do it a few times and it was aggravating, and now my account is on hold due to a low star rating, seriously?! I'm nearly a 5 star I don't understand, seriously fix this app.

Recanting my last review as to things going backwards with the app performance..... Changing from 3 stars to 5 stars... Engineers are working effortlessly to make the app for drivers as errorless as possible. Customer support is taking every call individually. Would like to see more stacked deliveries as well as more base trip pay... Otherwise I enjoy the ability to pull in a little extra money... Wish they had a rental service near my "home" location and not 2 hrs away..

Good to see that the Uber fixed the problemes what I written about. There are some little change more and will be good. For example the driving preferences button has no sense. Secondly when I approaching the goal doesnt show me the full address on the top. Anyway not bad app.

As I have read by others, if you have a problem, the service is terrible.. They have just been trained to say reboot..They could hire 10 year olds for that...I haven't been able to rate riders since I started 2 months ago. I stopped accepting reservation rides because you can't click pickup and start trip, so you end up giving a free trip... Both problems the answere from Uber is Reboot....Well, that doesnt help..

Spent over two months waiting for them to process my background check and they still haven't finished it going into month THREE! I'm afraid this app is merely a scam to get personal information!! I've contacted customer service 20 times with zero help. If it's not a scam they are completely incompetent!!

Cannot be an Uber driver due to an error in the app. I have been trying for a month now to drive using a vehicle that I am authorized to use in Uber but I am not allowed to. I contacted support many times and proved to them that all my documents are valid and that I am authorized to drive and a register the vehicle in the app, but they keep telling me that they'll contact me when they find a solution. I called the support number in app but couldn't reach anyone to talk to. Kindly assist.

All of a sudden I have to call customer service everyday to get them to fix the "preference" to pick up passengers. For some reason when I'm ready to start my day ubering it only has uber eats available (which I never do, I prefer passenger pickups) I have to spend at least an hour calling customer service multiple times until its fix....this updated version is more of a problem than anything and customer service is poor. I've been driving 7 years and never have I had as many problems as now.

Downloaded updated app. My 5-star rating remained unchanged for 3 years!! Does that not work anymore ?? Strange the completed years are correct. Is there anyone else having the same issue? Support unable to resolve - enquired numerous times when they eventually understand what I'm referring to. Correct this please. Thank you. ************* I am still waiting for my achievements reward to be updated. It's June 2022 !!

I have no qualms. If the Uber default navigation is not correct, simply change over to your desired satellite navigation app such as Google Maps. After two years of using the Uber Driver app, I find it easier to use by knowing its tiny glitches. It's a very good app and serves its purpose BETTER than its rivals. I'd give 10 stars for the brilliance, workability and autonomy of this app if I could. It's simple to work around its tiny glitches. As of June 2022, 2nd pick-up should be $7 minimum

as a driver, the app for the most part works ok. the biggest issue is the navigation portion itself. does not like rerouting, doesnt always use quickest route, and if the business is in a strip mall with other businesses, tends to be inaccurate.

I'm getting screwed out of a $25 order where I had to drive to a different town and shop. The app wouldn't let me complete it even though I delivered it and customer service called the customer to make sure. They told me they would cancel it but I will still get paid the full thing! I made sure to have her tell me that because something similar happened to me before but I still haven't gotten paid. I've done the form thing about three times still haven't heard from uber

Used to be pretty good. Showed the amount , pick up and drop off address when it came up on screen for you to accept or decline. Now all I get is uberx...no amount or location until I accept 😠 and then it only gives navigation to pick up, only gives drop off location once started and amount only once completed 🙄

The only good thing i can say about this app is the UI. I dont think it has ever crashed on me since the start of 2021. Other than that there really isnt much good to say. Ive been an uber driver since the start of 2020 and i can say it has definitly gone down hill. I get litte to no orders in surge areas now and IF i do get orders, they usually give very little amount and ridiculous miles. I feel like at this point uber is competing with doordash to see who is more worse.

Its a good place for spending money unles you plan on learning all the in and out. I can not give a accurate review as a driver right now as i have been off my normal game due personal stressbut that extra 3 or 400 hundred a week helps. Other drivers dont always have your back and support both with both driver and customers can be touch and go some times but could be fixed by making it really easy to just get a live agent and not use non user friendly bots.

The app overall is very functional and user-friendly. However I must dock one star from my rating due to the occasional unusual behaviors exhibited by the app which include not leading you to the correct pickup destination, or general UI problems when handling multiple orders.

Development team needs to up their game, some functionalities aren't working as expected.. for instance when I drop off or pick up riders at the airport, the £5 and £6 drop off and pick up fees charged by the airport authority isn't automatically refunded by the system.. you have to call support to get it sorted out.. it works for some people while it doesn't for some... utterly ridiculous and very unproductive for both driver and support team.

I do deliveries for ubereats. I'm on a program where I have to take 3 out of 10 trips or I'll lose the upfront address. The tracker does not count correctly EX: 16 trips taken tracker has 7 of 10. Not all drivers have this, so they can decline trips but I'm penalized. Now I receive a lot of no tip $2/$3/$4 orders. No one on the helpdesk knows what I'm talking about so they transfer me (yesterday it was 6 times) still no one has helped me. This is my attempt to see if anyone can help me. PLEASE.

More than 500 characters worth to be upset with most of the time I hardly even receive orders. For example I have currently been sitting online for 2 hours 'finding trips' and when you call support they either tell you its a bug in the app or there is just low demand in the area even though its advertised that the busiest times are between 11am-2pm and 5pm-9pm.I do just the"Eats"side of things and the surge bonus never gets tallied into any order totals I receive. Overall, a negative experience.

This app has changed for the worst. Since a recent update i have gotten maybe two trip requests a day if that. I'm logged in from 7 to 8 am to almost 11 PM every day with 2 requests. My income got throttled suddenly. I am a driver, not a biker or walker. I can't even do anything on this app anymore with requests!

Destination not shown is slowing down work...it doesn't allow one to work as expected. Moreso, fares has been so cheap this recent days and that of course will discourage drivers. Another turn off is that, Driver should be the determining his/her arrival not the App, the reason been that some rider usually move away from where they order from so as to avoid paying for waiting time.

Delivery: 1. Add restaurant name and order ID in the trip/earnings detail. 2. Need to be able to report navigation to a restaurant is wrong so it can be added under the restaurant info for all drivers. 3. Need an ACCEPT & DECLINE button for new deliveries. I accidentally accept orders because I "touched" the screen when I forgot and tried to zoom in on the map to see the final destination. 4. Map takes the long route. Gas is to expensive to be going a mile to make a u-turns.

user friendly, navigation isn't the best and voice of navigation is terrible. when she says right turn, she's isn't really saying right turb. kinda frustrating when you're trying to negative to address in timely fashion. ive only used this app for less than 1 day delivering and could already list over 10 things which need improvements.

Compared to Instacart it's pretty terrible. No list of orders available, when an order becomes available it will be assigned to you and you can choose to accept it not while given limited information. Average order is $8 I would say. I made the mistake of doing a plus order that you shop for at Albertsons and not enough money was loaded on the card for whatever reason and instead of support just adding more money to it they wanted me to pay out of pocket and be reimbursed up to 48 hours later!

Great for extra money! My only complaint about the app is that Uber map can take you on a weird route. When using Google maps you have to switch to the Uber app to accept another ride. It can be a little frustrating.

The follow me safety feature in the Uber app as a driver is not working and I have yet to get any help with this I spent over an hour on the phone with four different Representatives about this feature. That last agent I talked to you said they were going to send me an email for me to reply to with describing my issue so they could send it to tech support. But she never sent me an email it's been 4 hours since my phone call. The customer service for drivers is lacking and it's very poor.

Making money on the side has been easy with using this app! Customer service is on point and tends to resolve the issue immediately. Highly recommended! I don't know why others are having issues with this app...keep in mind your cell phone service also plays a huge role in having internet and connection issues in certain areas, it's not always Uber.

Although the app looks modernized, it is very difficult using since the menu is quite complex and not user friendly at all. What is most frustrating and stupid is that when entering DOB during adding bank account step, one cannot type in and the only option is to use the calendar view offered by the app, but the calendar view can only swipe by monthly from the current date, which means for one who is at 30s, you would bhave to swipe the screen 360 times in order to get to your DOB month.

Would've gave 5 stars but due to the fact you can't adjust the notification sound for app, I will give 4. You can adjust the sound but once you get an order it gets very loud, and it's embarrassing when I'm in public. Also map need to be updated. Overall great platform, easy to use and navigate.

Uber prides themselves on being all about technology. This version currently on 4.368.10004, sucks! When in the airport queue, as i approch 1-5 my app automatically resets and I lose any surge amount I've been 'sitting' on. Just another way of screwing the drivers. Have lost over $100 due to this and every excuse is given to me.

When view earnings is shows less amount then under wallet been like this for two years and still cant view wallet for weeks fix the pos APP Cant view wallet says sorry theres been a error. App DOES NOT track all active time or mileage. Some trips won't show up and never got paid but since u cant prove unless screen shot order then still wont get paid because of app error! You are better off flipping burgers then to try and make $50 in 8 hours then prepare not to get prop 22 guaranteed income.

I really love it, it's a great way to make money on your own time but when it comes to Uber Eats Deliveries I've noticed for late night especially that I will get orders that have already been picked up or "not recieved" by the store and I've sat in an hour plus long line and missed out on other Deliveries let alone the one that I was on. It's definitely annoying and in the way of making money and there is no reward for attempting to pick up the order. I've started calling the place before I go

I like the work but has bugs a lot, lately the wallet feature, arguably the most important feature to the worker, isn't working and hasn't been for 24 hours with no end in site. I talked to support 2 times and got the run around being told they were working on it but it's still not functional, so you can't even access your money, the whole point of doing the work, so it's very frustrating and I don't feel supported. Just getting the run around from support.

You need to put the exact pick up point on job offers and not just the distance on jobs as sometimes the distance showed does not reflect the actual distance to the job. I can do u turns. This would be especially useful on follow up jobs.

App all of a sudden isn't working properly. Took a reservation and when I picked her up I couldn't swipe to start ride/fare. I drove her to her destination and still couldn't get swipe to compete ride. Had to delete app, re-download and sign in again. Fare never loaded on my app, and amount of ride was incorrect. Was short by like almost $4. Can't cash out either.

Update 5/28 still not working.. Since this last update (and before) I'm still not getting offers. Now the app randomly bumps me off and ON. It will work OK "tricks" toggle on and off multiple times then close and wait 15 min. After I've been waiting hours for an order. I've been w uber for a year and past month has put me in a really bad spot depending on you guys. Truly disappointed with the customer service I get something different every time.

I have only been with Uber for a couple of months and mostly do the food delivery there are no promotions for that so I decided to do a rider promotion that would give $50 for 5 uberx trips and then $150 if you do another 10. I did 10 rider trips all in a row and they only credited 3 trips toward the promotion... they were all in the same area and around the same dollar amount. I have emailed and called customer service repeatedly to explain this to me - they just say the trips didn't qualify

maps still need some work, and driving in Arizona during the summer costs more with less riders, so I would like to see an adjustment in the fare distribution, but other than that, I actually really enjoyed driving for Uber and the app is overall pretty user friendly and predictable. thank you for providing this platform, it has been instrumental in keeping me afloat in a time where I had no idea how I was going to pay my bills.

The GPS is spotty compared to Google maps. Sometimes it doesn't send any alert for incoming pickups, but will send an alert after it times out telling you that you missed it. But there's no option. It's required to drive. So it is what it is.

05272022 Just started back again with Uber driving people, Uber navigator is glitching out, zooming in and out, giving clients the wrong time and distances estimates, had to use Google maps to navigate, Uber app at least is giving the right location to Google maps, but the Uber app itself has been useless to navigate lately

Needs to bring back 3-trip series bonuses but make weekly quest Mon-Fri, not Mon-Thurs. Problem with that is, then you get stuck taking trips that are too long and never get done in a timely manner. Also let us select our "default weekly quest." Not give us the highest one if we don't pick it. Lastly, allow us to replace our profile picture. Also Uber punishes drivers in lots of sneaky ways I can't list them all here. They are shady and don't seem to be looking at reviews.

Navigation is horrible, its slow and drops out. I accept a delivery and the info goes off screen I try to go online and it locks up. Same thing trying to go offline. Uber just doesn't do anything to correct the problems. The only thing worse than the app is uber support 2 years later and navigation is still slow and not too accurate. After it guides me to a drop off mark delivered, it asks me of I'm sure because it doesn't look like I'm at the right address

Maps not loading in time,an app that picks the wrong pickup location is a recipe for poor service provision. Navigating around took a little to get used to. I drove for Postmates awhile back and the navigation was horrible! Starting out with Uber I was apprehensive at first not knowing how accurate it would be. 10 deliveries down and I have to say it's pretty decent! So far it's been a decent experience *knock on wood*

it could pay more, and delete the medical/driver's license requirements. The app just deactivated my account because they wouldn't have any deliveries for me when I leave it online. When I tried to reapply using a different email, it asks for a driver's license and my medical exam info, which wasn't required when I first started delivering for UberEATS on foot. They send a response, and I'm still unemployed. I believe that they just updated the app to kick out of all the walkers who deliver food

No idea what's the problem with this app. Even after deleting & reinstalling can't raise a ticket on trip issues. It would just show delivery issues not rider issues. Messaged support three times in the app without a response. Secondly, there is a big problem with destination - the trip requests are 180 degree to the destination. Eventually I am stranded far away from destination & wonder what's the fun in putting the destination. Driver unfriendly.

Great way to earn a little money on the side, even if the app can sometimes be difficult to navigate and has some issues with documents and the like. best takeaway is this: if you have an issue with the app, contact support, keep trying to resolve it and be persistent.

The app is great. My problem stems from delivering and getting an alert for a new pick-up in the middle of delivering. Why do you think it would be appropriate for me to accept a new order WHILE trying to navigate? That's a distraction and costs me to potentially miss my turn. At least turn off notifications while delivering and wait until I drop off for a new delivery notification. I also wish the refer a friend was clear. My friend received $300 because I joined, I got nothing.

Mostly everything about it, is easy. However, I wish you could see ahead of time if your drop off location was upstairs or not....Recovering from knee surgery definitely makes it a bit difficult to get up steps...I also wish there were peak alerts for the area you deliver in like Door Dash. Having this extra income really does help.

Ever since updating the app very recently. I'm unable to update my debit card info, each time I put the new for my new card, it says there's a "problem" with my connection!!! And I'm also unable to instant pay cash out, keeps saying failed attempts to cash out! Even if it's thru my banking info instead of my debit card. I've addressed this issue twice to CS and they can't seem to know what the problem is or avoid answering me after a while.

Map calculate destination base as fast time, not option for short distance and not acurate arrival. Also, no name showing of business to look for when you arrived so needed to GO BACK to the app, wasting your time looking for that name. Another issue i want to mention is that you'll almost never get the total amount paid as promised when you accept the order due to the "luxury' option that customer has to take the tip away as they please AFTER delivery was done.

I like Uber. Only issue I have is the destination arrival needs to be fixed. The app sends messages that block you from logging off. Please remove the location of the messages in the app. It hurts drivers ratings. On Destination Mode please let drivers cut themselves offline when they reach a destination not Uber automatically reaching the destination for drivers. Another issue is the new airport trip radar isn't working correctly please fix. Thanks

I do love doing deliveries for uber eats but my issue is the gps is horrible. Update* the customer acceptance rate isn't cool.. I had to cancel 3 orders 2 because the wait time was not worth my time and the third one because somebody else picked up the order.. why do I get penalized for something I can't control.. all the sudden it says trips are paused because I canceled three trips.. I love the fact that extra money can be made by this platform but you guys are heading in the wrong direction.

definitely buggy and the GPS is laggy at the start of a trip if you do not have a very fast phone. does great things though. ingenious work. Was auto deactivated after getting 1 drive short of a goal. Reason stated was consistently high ratings, not a joke

The app itself is fine minus the mapp issues (incorrect directions down alleys that aren't open), but what I have issues with are false payments. Doing a $5 job that 3 miles away then only be credited 2.45 isn't transparent. It's a good way to lose drivers when tips or whatever else is pulled after the job.

The app is good, but the notification for new orders covers the screen suddenly, which makes it easy to accidentally accept an order if I happen to have been using the phone for other things at that moment (texting, scrolling, etc). At least 3 times, my phone was in my pocket as I was making a delivery, but still an order was accepted. There should be a way to confirm that an order is being accepted on purpose and not by accident.

Uber has improved quite a bit over the years, but the "destination filter" is trash that barely functions. It has been mostly giving requests 15-20+ minutes away / short trips that are a waste of time / trips that wind up with you being slightly closer to even slightly further away from your destination than you were to begin with.

Have not gone on a single delivery.Two months,and still stuck on "contact customer support". Everything in the checklist is green and set,that when I call their overseas Indian customer support they say everything is clear and ready to go but they stick to the script everytime on about "We will send ticket over to our specialists" when they don't know how to fix the issue,and they never fix the issue.Have called about 30 times and it's so difficult and time consuming to even get phone operator.

Worst in case of ride cancelled by passenger . . . I went 3 km at a outside location. The app is fine most of the time but it glitches. Some glitches are to be expected but the issue is that over has the worst tech support I have ever come across. They don't listen to the issues. The open over all other apps could work if clicking the widget opened the map back up during an offer Bring back the orders coming in from the top of the screen. I have been driving for 5 years. They keep making changes and lowering rates for drivers, while raising rates for passengers. Additionally, I have a beacon and the feature to connect to it has been missing from my account for 3 months. I keep reporting it, and they keep saying they are sending to the evaluation team, but nothing ever happens. All driver support is based in the Philippines for anyone that's not a platinum driver. I've been using this app for 3 months or so now and it seems like the longer I use it, the less rewards programs it offers and the fewer trips you get. Maybe if I try another app for a few months and then try this again it will do better. I've been driving for an hour and only got 1 fair, $4 for a half hour drive. This is in a high demand zone, too! While my experience with Uber hasn't been bad, Whenever I have a problem with uber or the app it feels almost as if uber does not want to bother with the consumer or the employer. If there ever a issue with uber or the app they don't have contacts, emails, or anything that can help me with specific issues at hand, yes they have a support page but again if you have a specific issue you're out of luck. We should be able to give thumbs up and down after a order completes. Not just while delivering. Even if a order is completed. I have gotten unfair rating from customer due to not being able to find the route when uber app itself showed me the wrong direction. I was unable to explain my side of the story. Also I know Uber says it doesn't have a punishment system but I think it does, I have cancelled few orders from one McDonalds now I don't get any order feom that particular store. Strange!!!!

Could be better. I would like to see 3 points for trips over 40 minutes as if I was to have 3 shorter trip in that time I would have gotten 3 points. Let riders choose there driver if they are available . I work hard to give my riders the best experience. And they should be able to ride with whom they feel comfortable with. And 1 last thing I am not able to take breaks for bathroom or gas even to grab a bit to eat . I says there are icons on the map I have yet to see them.

Awful lack of details (for restaurant orders), such as it does not tell you the customer's address until you swipe that the order is picked up. So essentially you cannot plan your route while you are waiting at the restaurant for the food. Plus when you have more than one order it forces you to do them in a certain order even if there is a more efficient route. =|

I never get opportunities, why??? It makes me not want to do deliveries if I can't get extra incentives.

Been driving for uber for a while and the app is no longer providing the uber x option despite all approved documents. I have been on the phone with 6 different representatives and the problem is still unresolved. This issue has been going on for a week and I have been told to sign out, uninstall the app and reinstall it back. This process has been done a couple dozen times and still not working. The app still shows uber eats delivery as the only option. Pls fix this issue soon.

Sometimes the drivers are really good they drop me correct location but sometimes when I have drop off from the uber in halfway from my location for some personal reason the driver take more money then what is seen in the uber app for being drop off and this problem happens to me twice... At times it's fine but I have an electric car. Uber punishes me for this. I have a certain range so I have to choose my trips carefully. I must have efficient trips. That means shorter in time or miles. I am punished for rejecting trips the algorithm sends me. The algorithm won't filter out inefficient trips so I have to. I may have my requests paused if I deny while I'm in transit (because I can't safely evaluate them, it covers my navigation). So much for encouraging EVs

Driving for Uber Eats until I ran my aging car into the ground eventually got my car stolen, but I can't blame Uber Technologies for that mishap as the experience has been great. Other than a few small quirks within the app (I recommend disabling both screen overlays to avoid accidental taps and Google Play Services for battery savings) the perks, promotions, opportunity scheduling and freelancer discounts through performance tiers are equally appreciated. ASU Online Tuition is paid for, too.

I'll be in the middle of texting a friend and accidentally accept a $2 order I don't want, or accidentally tap the X and decline a $26 order. if it wasn't annoying enough that they didn't fix your account going offline without notification after canceling too many orders, they now put you offline after being without order for too long, WITHOUT fixing the notification issue. nothing better than waiting for an order to finish a quest only to find out you were put offline for no reason, with no notification.

Great way to earn money. How ever the new updated GPS is worse than ever as of 03/22. The app isn't too bad. It does need some major improvements. As it will send you offers at Dangerous times. As your paying attention to GPS in traffic to complete an order several offers will pop up. Going over the top of GPS no time to read it carefully and may miss your stop. Also on 1 or 2 occasions uber has not honored offers when system has "glitched"

Ive been driving uber for 6 years on and off. Have been going full time recently. The reps can be hit or miss on the help they give. The navigation app is horrid. It take you to weird places sometimes. If you live in a dangerous and violent city good luck getting any simpathy from them. Im in cleveland and multiple times ive gotten requests for 79th and garden valley 115th and buckeye. How is it alright to send drivers to places pizza drivers wont go. You can't even log on as a driver because the photo verification does not work you will spend two + hours trying to get it to work but it never works. Your entire face is always in the picture & it says it isn't. This is a horrible company / awful IT dept. the GPS doesn't work. there's no driver support unless you're logged on but you can't log on because it can't verify.. At least 30% of customer GPS locations are incorrect. It assigns deliveries in Seattle & New Orleans when I'm in San Diego

It's amazing how easy you can get into this and make some money on the side for whatever you need, but the downside is how unreliable it can be, especially when you're "walking" and not on a bike or vehicle. It honestly comes down to where you live too, do I recommend this app? Not really, I would recommend it to people who just want something extra alongside there job or hobby.

Such a waste of time speaking to customer service. There was a promotion of $250 which I was supposed to receive when I invite a returning user provided he completes 40 deliveries which he did. After he completed the required deliveries uber decided to cancel his promotion without any reason. I've been calling support for weeks now and everytime I get the same answer, you will receive an email within 24hours which I don't. Shame on you Uber. I have all proofs to file a lawsuit. Dysfunctional. The earnings fails to update in real time throughout my shift. The airport q tells me there are 1 to 5 cars in front of me when I'm the only one in the taxi stand and short-term parking before forcing me to deadhead out without a ride. The app often sends me 8 to 10 miles for a one to two mile trip, which is unprofitable to say the least. Herber support is fantastic at providing excuses but equally as poor providing solutions. Alas, Zero promotions, zero Quests.

Confusing GPS uber navigation system off by quarter mile sometimes and is a bit dyslexic I think or maybe the person who designed it doesn't know their right from their left. Also for example if a person is given 316 rides and cancels 13 leaving 303 . That is not 5 % . 5% would be 300 rides taken after cancelations.

Is probably due to low demand and number of new drivers signing in..I've done troubleshooting and nothing. When using Google maps to navigate instead of the in-app navigation, the address changes, sometime to several houses away. But, in-app navigation doesn't take into consideration all the traffic delays and construction areas, so it's almost useless in Michigan. I have to use Google Maps to get most of the way there, then hurry and switch to Uber map to see the address. And the app is terrible at predicting what side of the street the destination will be on.

I love how easy it was to get on, (although the background check was slow,) and how easy it was to start earning right away and get an instant cash out to my bank. Minus 2 stars for not supporting walkers with enough deliveries to make it worth while, while not even giving me a heads up about the change. Also, courier well being is not prioritized over customer, easy to accidentally accept order, which if you cancel, hurts rating.

The destination mode is not working properly, the other day I set my destination to get back home and set the arrival time on 6pm, the uber app gave me a long trip to opposite direction, I realized that when I picked up my passenger and there was no way to cancel the trip. After finishing that trip I drove back home. I was home at 7:30pm my mom was mad at me. It was a very bad experience, I hope will uber improve this feature . Since then I don't trust set destination and do it by myself!!!!

The Uber app is integral to the driving experience. It is somewhat circuitous and late with directions. I would like to see the destination in the app up front, instead of turn by turn. Customer service is terrible. There is no way to contact the customer before making the order picked up and customer service is NO help. I don't have to allow the app over everything on my pixel but my galaxy is still requiring the permission and I still accidentally accept orders by touching the phone I'm not sure if they have changed anything or I've just gotten better at spotting multiple orders I still think the app can be better but I do love the map and pay model!

There is an option to work in a preferred areas that is available on YouTube videos. This option is not working in my country, I guess. Or it is my app version that does not include this option. The only reason I gave 4 Stars instead of 5 is because imo, their GPS map system is not as efficient or clear as Google maps and their grocery shopping portion of the app is really lacking important features (which instacart offers excellence in this area). All of my cancellation of job's are for accident acceptance (usually trying to rate customer). Please make it slide or something as this is just not working, also when I set destination (normally home) it gives me job's nowhere near, sometimes opposite directions. I love Uber, totally devoted to the brand! The map is terrible! I would rather go the shortest way possible, than the longest any day! The map will take you all around the world before getting to the destination! The quicker I get my customers out, the quicker I get the next, the less gas I use! I don't need to go the long way! Let's say I'm coming out of a parking lot, about to turn into a main road, the app will not tell me left or right, I would have to choose and hope it's the right way!

App works pretty great, it's fast and doesn't crash, has a nice sleek interface. One star redacted, because no matter what I try, I can't get the navigation voice to turn on. It says it's on in the settings. It doesn't work, so I have to look at the screen or switch to google maps. It gets buggy when I do swich to Maps, so I just keep an eye on the screen. Needs improvement there but othetwise, functions very well.

For delivery, it's great! The 2 stars is for the driver portion. Their rules are a little deceptive. I fit all the criteria including being a licensed driver continuously and currently for over 20+ years. Therein lies the problem. I just relocated so my license here is new. I uploaded my previous license and driving abstract showing my spotless driving history. Uber wants me to have a history HERE first but I do deliveries! I can't get a straight answer.

Easy app, but GPS ISSUE. I do Uber Eats, and the app has been fairly convenient. I just wish the devs could look into the GPS delay issue (I'm using Xperia 10 iii). The in-app map always have me 25, maybe 50 feet away from where I'm actually at in real life, during driving movement. Makes you miss your turn and can be unsafe on popular roadways. It's accurate once you're superslow or stopped. I'm forced to use Google maps, which is okay, but not having to would make things easier.

Lately, the navigation is about four turns behind reality. The trip series banner blocks ALL of the important UI buttons and doesn't disappear easily. It's dangerous and distracting. You don't cover UI with useless banners! You can filter riders by rating, but be ready to set that value EVERY FRICKIN TIME you open the app. Why is that? Everything else is saved. Support is non-existent, unless you like bots and canned responses.

I've been driving for a few weeks for uber eats and it's a very flexible side job. I really wish there was some type of filter based acceptance system however. It would be nice to have a "no downtown delivery" option or even a way to tell the app to only request deliveries that are 30 minutes or less. I drive in Houston which is huge and if im not careful I can literally drive from north to south Houston. I have to decline a lot of trips because the app has no discretion.

This app has gone downhill... it continues to get worse instead of better. It won't let me delete or update an expired debit card for cash out payments. Customer service is a joke, and have never been able to resolve my issue. Still haven't changed anything. I still get the order pop-up that prevents me from seeing the drop-off location, can't see their address until I have picked up an order. EDIT: Set my bixby button (galaxy note 9) to open uber from any screen, bypassing the pop-up without triggering it, thus allowing me to see the route before accepting the order. Problem solved with no help from uber I might add. Also stop giving us wrong directions in the navigation.

Uber navigation is a little off these days. There should be a way to choose the voice you want to hear while driving. My nav sounds like she may be from South Africa but I never chose this voice it just showed up and while driving today we switched from miles and yards to kilometers and meters then switched back to miles Needless to say both driver and passenger confused. Uber-Driver, is a wonderful app at the end of the day.. given the fact that you have many cashouts each day (if the app isn't glitching out which isn't uncommon) and basically as soon as you get some money in the 'Wallet', upwards of 5 times per day I believe. The app isn't very reliable for navigating or just simple tasks like organizing orders, preselecting deliveries for each class of Driver, making it very frustrating to plan ahead or around deliveries.. But having money every day is nice.

It thinks FM (Farm to Market) is Federated States of Micronesia. It thinks a frontage road is a highway or interstate. The routes it selects would only make sense to Mr Magoo. Right as you are about to get to your destination it flashes another delivery offer and flips the map. I swear that is goingbto get someone in an accident or killed. Lawsuit just waiting to happen. I cannot tell you how many near misses I've had because of that. If Google and Waze can do it I don't know why Uber cant.

Driving is great, it pays you fuel surcharges temporarily, which does slightly help out if you have a gas sipper. The navigation portion is lacking, sometimes it knows what its doing, other times it becomes misleading and sends me mixed instructions. you can't play your own music with the app open and it makes the drive a little less enjoyable. other than that it's simple to make a side hussle.

The destination system is terrible since you never know when you can use one, and when you do, if the app decides to, it'll log you out and waste your limited destinations. Then they recently added breaks to the app, but if you have an EV and need to take a break to recharge the car, the app decides you took too long of a break, logs you out, also wasting a destination. You call support and they say "it's a technical issue that will be fixed" when it's obviously a bad policy, not a tech issue

The app in itself is cool, but the pin 📌 markers don't always pinpoint exact locations. A few times, they've been placed in the middle of the street upon arrival. The navigation will often guide you through back alleys of some customers' and restaurants' when clearly the addresses display the main street. Although, the app is getting better and faster with every update, there are few things that are making it harder to use. First, the navigation is terrible and should not be used as a default until you fix all the wrong turns and directions. Second, while on ride and the new ride comes through and we accept it, there is no need to tell us that the new trip is accepted, because we just accepted it. Notification blocks the whole screen for 10 seconds, which is not practical at all. Fix this please.

I see several issues: 1) too many distracting messages which are not important, 2) the nav works fine to get to the trip destination but it is completely useless outside trips, you can't use it to get anywhere if not on a trip and the default map scale is so huge it's just useless, you don't see the streets around you but the whole province!! 3) the menu bar fonts are ridiculously large!! 4) the system penalizes you if you go offline so you'll get much fewer trips if you stop to rest

Customer service is very poor. They can't fix or don't understand how to fix most problems. Trip radar is nice but I've only ever gotten a chance to do two of the trips because it doesn't give you time to look before sending you a trip. I drive weekly in the City of Boston and the GPS is inaccurate and slow or gives me the wrong street name. Needs a huge upgrade. Also, there are delays in showing your earnings sometimes which is very frustrating.

this app can help out in pinch of you have a vehicle and drivers license. However when you factor in your fuel and maintenance costs such as wear and tear on YOUR personal vehicle. Being in a smaller town doesn't help either. Large fairs are far too few to make up the difference. Then trying to travel to a nearby town doesn't help either. I love driving with Uber but lately it has really been messing up. For example when you need to take the second exit to get on the overpass instead of saying that it says turn left. If you aren't familiar with the location or staring at your phone to see the loop you would be so messed up. It also takes the LONG way ALOT. That waste time and money. It has told me to go south when I needed to go north. And it has a lot of dead zones that don't locate me for no reason.

New update is so bad. All you see is money including tip, but not actual amount. Actual amount helped us to select which trips to take, but now it is not possible as the new update does not allow time to check the trip end points and sometimes you end up going so far where you do not want to go. I can not set geo locations for pickups as well which is also pain. The old system was much better where you see fare amount and tip amounts add after.

I used to really enjoy driving for Uber until they made drastic rate changes. Longer job drives have been nearly cut in half. The app glitches and freezes constantly causing confusion with customers and resulting in no tips. The GPS navigation accuracy on this app is the worst ever. Customer service is horrible and all around it's a bad experience for drivers and customers.

The app doesn't show riders destination when they are booking. Also it's the app that determines when you arrive at pick up point which is not sometimes the rider's location. The driver ought to be the one to determine when he arrives because riders sometimes put a location different from where they are. The fares are low, it should be based on present economic realities because spare parts and patrol are going higher.

I had saved scripts to send to customers to give status updates during the delivery process. Now since update I no longer have the ability to access my clipboard whiles using the Uber. Also, the navigation screen is taken over by the store/customers info from the bottom of the screen so it's hard for me to see the map whiles making a delivery.

Surge pricing map is false/misleading. For example, the trip finder will say "+$4 next trip", but of the thousands of times I have accepted a delivery in a surge area, I never once have gotten the shown surge price. Also (and as I write this, cash out is down), the cash out option is down too often. Every Saturday during the day, it is down for 12 hours for system maintenance. Can't y'all do the maintenance overnight? Uber has way too much money to have a terrible app like this one.

Great app, way better than doordash driver app. The only downside is sometimes accidentally accepting orders because how much room the uber order takes up on the screen if Im not in the uber app and how quick it responds to the tap anywhere. For example texting somebody back and accidentally accepting the order before seeing what it is. Other than that a great app and navigation

My only issue with the app is that the exact address for pickup isn't always given, and I'm either a few houses away or even around the block from pickup. the good thing is that I CAN call the rider to get to them, but then there are times that they don't answer. I have had to cancel 3 trips due to GPS dropping, but that's only 3 in nearly 4yrs of driving so that's tolerable.

Overlay bubble makes it easy to get back to the app 👌 Dislike when outside the app & an order pops up: 1) you cannot see map, only street names & distance; 2) EXTREMELY easy to accidentally accept an order, then u cant see even general destination/distance til after pickup. Forces max volume when chiming for new orders even when you have earbuds. OUCH! Orders in my area tend to be long distance for meh pay. Difficult to communicate w/customers &provide stellar service. This app is terrible! The maps are radically inaccurate, and whats worse is the app sometimes navigates you to random locations over a mile from the destination address. Then you call support and they say "Maybe you can use an alternative navigation app like Google maps." Isn't the entire point of having an app for deliveries to get the driver from A to B *via a map* quickly and efficiently? But no! Their best advice is to exit their app and use another one. Brilliant job guys.

I changedy rating to 3 stars because, UBER deactivated my car because it's a 2006. The car I was using is in tiptop shape, has a large enough back seat that three peoe can fit in and the trunk holds ALL the luggage. The car has less than 8000 miles a year at 169,500 miles. They gave me a 30-day notice to get another car. I've been driving for UBER since 2017. I think they should allow this car! And I don't think they gave me enough notice.

The beacon setting has been take out of the app I can't connect my beacon light. Very frustrating that when on a trip and getting a second trip, after accepting it, the map doesn't auto navigate. It's stays in map/route over view and I have to manually click on the navigate arrow to go back to navigation. This is very distracting. It didn't use to do that.

As far as support goes, it is good for mid-delivery issues. i.e contacting customers, issue with an order, etc. But if you have any issues with your account, documents, or anything else outside of a delivery order..it could be a bit of a hassle to say the least. It could be improved. Maybe even ONE greenlighthub in the city could help.

Great app! A great tweak to this app would be a small notification bar showing a rider's phone call instead of an entire screen dedicated to the call. Update: sometimes a rider's call comes thru like a regular call and the driver app stays open with navigation - thank you! But not always, about half the time, a rider's call is called a data call and it will take up the phone screen (no view of navigation) while call is active.

And i desire every country should manage its apps base on change of its currency rate at the moment, to batter things for both riders and drivers. I like driving for ubereats. This app has very few glitches compared to the DD one which constantly crashes and freezes hourly. However, I really don't like that unless I have the app open and map already showing, I can't see where the order is actually taking me and I'm forced to go in blind. This is a huge deal honestly. And its not okay. Also can't stand the orders popping up on the screen and making me accidentally click on them because I was typing. It even happened while typing this review

GPS is consistently directing me to the wrong addresses. Despite attempting to force stop then reopen or uninstall then reinstall it frequently kicks me offline for unknown reasons. I've had issues with delivering orders but due to app issues being told the order wasn't picked up. (Which is impossible due to the fact that the drop-off addresses aren't given until AFTER pickup confirmation) The app needs a reprogramming DESPERATELY!

I enjoy the side hustle of this business, helping others deliver their food and what not but my only recommendation is if you guys can do an update to the app where "you" can turn off the Uber sound. I be listening to my music then next thing you know, dig dig dig, an order. I don't like the sound notification. It's really loud and a little obnoxious. Hopefully in the future, you can disable the sound and just have a pop up icon with no sound alert. Overall a good side hustle.

Uber get rid of your navigation app as I find it to be quite inaccurate at certain times, please embed Google Maps and make this the main primary map source. 2nd, when I'm driving and another job pops up on the screen, if I accept or deny that job, it does not continue to auto navigate so here I am trying to concentrate on the road yet at the same time trying to press the navigation arrow to continue, this can be quite dangerous. You need to allow for auto navigation to kick in after few seconds

2 issues 1. Uber sometimes gives you 2 deliveries for the same job and it can be hard to catch and for me it was very confusing when I first saw it 2. On that same issue, the restaurant was taking forever on the second order, so I wanted to communicate with the first customer to let them know, and there was no clear way to do so....to the point THEY had to call me. Other than that, FANTASTIC experience!! I usually make $15-$20 an hour and it's good excess money in my spare time!

I absolutely love doing UberEATS! it gives me the freedom to work when and where I see fit! I'm actually on a bicycle and making about 20/hr doing deliveries with my UberEATS backpack! This app is an amazing tool for drivers. It would get 5 stars, but I find it very annoying that Google maps is forced open every time I accept a delivery. It kills my battery, and the route provided within the UberEATS app is more than enough to get me where I need to go (because it provides a route in both).

navigation works perfect, sign up as a new driver for a promotion guarantee. did not receive payout. customer service said would receive 24 to 48 hours after contacting them six times. still have not received payout. submit documents. documents are approved by Uber. can drive. then several hours later. documents are not approved. Uber needs better customer service and to work out the bugs in the app.

When you offer a new delivery while I'm finishing my previous one, PLEASE automatically return to navigation. It almost SYSTEMATICALLY interrupts me in a critical moment and then navigation stops (stays stuck on the overview). Waste of time and dangerous in the middle of manoeuvres. Also, you make it hard to see the map and the fact that your plan to penalize those who refuse many deliveries by hiding the map when we accept less than the 5 deliveries shows how you don't respect the drivers.

Uber driver app in Jamaica is far from what it needs to be as an Uber driver I've had an insurmountable amount of issues and glitches with the app. First of all there is no support for drivers if you have an issue I can guarantee that it won't get resolved. Apart from the bad navigation and the inability to determine the distance a driver travels the app is one of the worst apps I've ever used. definitely is not the same as it used to be. it used to be fairly easy to use. since Uber has been available to the public it's still remains to have GPS and navigation issues. 11 years ago when I started driving with Uber you used to be able to make pretty decent money now it's not even worth it. you find yourself stuck driving 15 to 25 minutes out of your way uncompensated just to pick up a passenger. Uber has also established policy and Community guidelines that no one seems to follow.

This app is specially bad. Once you install it, it will tries to take control over your phone. Phone will run over the screen lock, your can't turn volume down, and many others features. Basically, it is like an spam app. Also, I have to say that it's maps is pretty bad, and you to put the address manually in other apps (like Google maps) if you don't want to get lost. Moreover, it will drain your battery really fast, and its resources consumision is one of the worst I have ever seen.

After submitting multiple complaints, and seeing multiple reviews about it here alone, it's clear the issue isn't being fixed. Even though, at one point, it was. I can't even go online unless it's activated in my settings. This is dumb, and it's a driving hazard for people using navigation.

App has improved some since my last update. I am however experiencing long wait times at some places. Needs better communication with restaurants "completing their orders." It would also be nice to know if I am delivering 2 separate orders in the same building. You have me standing in a lobby like a jackass only to find out my second order is also in the same building. People..stay in contact with your Uber driver! Overall, needs better communication on all fronts.

I took one job and it was an utter nightmare of technical issues. The app straight up does not work as intended. It froze out and refused to acknowledge that the job was complete so I was unable to get payed or take more jobs. Technical support was completely useless and would not help me. Would give zero stars if I could. Won't be working for Uber or using them ever again.

Problem. Everytime you add a new ride, it stop the GPS and raises the volume to my Bluetooth. There are times I miss my turn because it stop and I have to press navigate and lower the Bluetooth volume. I know that other Uber drivers want to know how long a trip is and where it's going, but not worth the distraction. Very annoying. You can show us where and how long on the page that says we have another ride. We can press the three dots when it's safe to, like at a red light or we can pull over

The navigation still needs improvement, some restaurants location is not accurate. Many times I have accepted an offer by accident not because I wanted to, new offers pop up in the middle of finishing a drop off causing you to accept it without intention. customer's address should be visible at all times after accepting an offer. The ID scanning process needs urgent attention, it takes too long to complete and it doesn't always work. scanning the barcode is better

There's always issues with this company. Whether it's documents taking too long or not the specific one they want even though it has the proper information being asked for, cash out either doesn't update info properly or always has connection issues, and finding an actual person to talk to instead of a simple phone call that would take only minutes to do but they opt through email which takes forever for a response. Only reason I'm with them is because everyone else is full.

I'm happy with the app but under opportunities and reservation you must be able to see the pickup and drop off point for your reservation before you can accept it because you may find that you accepted a reservation that is more than 30km pickup location which at the end becomes worthless. Tech team is not great. Every "fix" or "addition" they make creates bigger problems. This last update removed major functionality from the app but still hasn't been fixed. Support team routinely closes tickets without actually reading them or addressing the issue. It's easy to see this happening when the responses from support have nothing to do with the issue submitted. It would be great if the "updates" didn't cause bigger problems and the support and tech teams actually addressed issues.

It's ok. Gets better and worse off and on with updates. The navigation is slow. I purchased both of the supposedly fastest phones on the market (at different times in 2020/21) and the app did not speed up one bit. Although doing a factory reset often/clearing system cache/app & system app caches regularly has kept everything as fast as day one. And obviously you can't be running FB and Gmail and YouTube in the background and expect anything to be fast.

My experience with UberEats has been great. The user interface in the app continuously makes helpful changes and Uber is quick to adapt to changing times and offer surprising benefits. Uniformity and consistency can use improvement in terms of the way restaurants do UberEats, navigation could still use improvement, and the financial part needs improvement as well because the need to update the true fare amount is too consistent.

It keeps setting the volume for the turn by turn direction to the maximum volume, when I have set it to medium. It have cracked my loud speaker for my Samsung Note 10 Plus. So everytime the turn by turn goes on for the first time, I will hear static like crackling sounds. It seems like every ride, it reset back to the maximum volume again and I have to set it again.

Thr update requiring the app to be shown on top of all other apps is a terrible feature, PLEASE change it so this is not required! As independent contractors we have the right to be using other apps like phone, email, text, maps etc. Now, when you are not in the uber app when an offer comes in, it pops up half the offer details, minus the map. You can't go into the uber app to see the map and make your choice, instead you are stuck in the pop up widget and can only decline or accept blindly. :(

The worst. I drove 2 years for them. Their pop-up screen comes up and you accidentally hit it every time. So then I have to cancel the order. So Uber made a thousand excuses and then ended up saying I canceled too many orders so I was deactivated!!! Well if they design their app properly I wouldn't accept the order to begin with. Not only this, if you have a problem and you call customer service good luck!!!! The worst customer service in the world. Uber sucks and glad it's over!

The new update is forcing us to use the Uber App over other Apps settings, it's horrible, can't see the map where you are going and while making a delivery if a new order comes in it covers the navigation completely and I have to x it out to see where I am going. Thr app was fine until you recently changed it so that it always has an overlay on my screen any time I am logged in with no option to remove it and it shows new orders in Picture in Picture mode. It makes it impossible to do anything else on the phone other than accept or decline the offer without an option to go to the app and see the map and if I disable it at a system level it makes all new offer announcements silent. Fix this and I'll fix my review.

As an ubereats delivery driver, I use to love delivering with ubereats. Now, I'm not happy anymore because, if we don't accept enough orders, app doesn't show drop off location. I'm a 50 years old woman working in las vegas area and i dont feel safe to deliver some of the neighborhoods. Now I drive for ubereats very rare and choose very short distances to make sure I'm safe. I'm willing to let a lot of things go but bringing back the widget and mandatory "display over other apps" is a bad move. This just does not work correctly. I need to be able to see the map when I get an offer and this makes the app get stuck in the background. Bring back the last update where the offer just came down from the top of the screen. I just dislike how the new delivery notification gets in the middle of the screen and can't be moved. Because of this, I have been assigned unwanted deliveries by accidently tapping the notification. Sometimes, I can't see where I am currently delivering the order to because those notifications get in the way. If I'm on maps and get a notification, i can't go bck to the uber app tp check where the drop off is because this notifications.Give us the options to move it out of the way or something.

love it! super easy to navigate and to make money. and i love the instant cash out feature. you have to be quick selecting orders though or they go away. there's times I've accidentally clicked on my phone screen and picked up an order unintentionally. 🤷 maybe have an accept or decline button to be safe would be nice. the only thing i wish sometimes is if you could see the delivery location on a map so i have a better idea of where I'm going beforehand. thanks!

You don't get paid for the time and distance it takes to make your pickups. And when you start getting more requests for rides or deliveries with longer unpaid portions of your commute, you end up losing money and costing yourself more wasted time, effort, and piling on the extra wear and tear on your vehicle. Tried explaining this to Uber, but they did not, and do not, care. You will get the run-around, taking anything up with Driver Support. I guess that's what happens when you outsource.

App is okay, but definitely needs improvements. I have been with Uber over 5 years and it seems that everytime they try to improve the app it just gets worse. You use to be able to use the headed home button and get trips only going your way but now it gives you trips going the opposite way. Also you'll receive trip that are over 8 miles away from where you and you don't get paid for that time or miles. Also when you need your background check done it takes for ever and your account deactivated.

Haven't had to call customer service yet so my rating is solely based on the app usefulness and layout for drivers. I would like to see a surge amount paid in full of what it shows on the map at least once cause its never as much as what it states in specific areas.

This app is useful to make money, so long as you are willing to endure a constant nightmare of tiny irritations. It's designed to be the most difficult and least informative interface possible, when it works. My least favorite "feature" is that every time you accept a ride, it turns your volume up all the way. Let's hope they decide to improve it soon.

The rate at which orders appear is very fast, the app so far has not crashed, and everything is orderly and placed where you'd expect 5/5 in that regard. The two stars is for the absolutely screwed up verification photo thing they have. I go to submit the photo and everything I do it rejects it and places the account on a 24 hour ban. Even the support team reviewing the photo deny its me and I'm wearing my same beanie (you know cause it's 20⁰ outside being it's winter).

Can't get surge rates as an eats driver. Called support multiple times just to be passed around to different departments. The plus card was declined after driving 20 minutes for a pickup. Support offered me $4 for my troubles. I've been doing this 4 years full time and have a 5 star rating. I'm 99% sure I will deactivate my account and go elsewhere. It's a shame because it used to be enjoyable..

3-6-22, I updated my Uber driver app and the problem is still not fixed after notifying support many many times over the last several weeks, problem is when there is a silver area on the driver app corresponding to a high rider request area there is a arrow that you can touch and a window will pop up with a "let's go" button that will navigate you to the area so you can get more Rider requests, there's still no "let's go" button although it used to be there five or six weeks ago, pls fix!!! 🙏

Uber keeps having glitches with there app. Everytime it happens. My rating keeps changing. I have screen shot it everytime. I was at 94% rate. With in the two days of glitches with uber app. My rate has changed to a 92% rate. The merchant rate even changed. I had 6👍. And when the glitch happened it turned into 4👍. What the hell is going on with app. Fix it. I had enough of the bs. Something is seriously going on. And all my tips are hours to days late. The gps is always wrong fix it.

Constant glitches errors quirky issues things that make no sense. Then they have the nerve to send an email saying they listened to feedback no they didnt. they listen to their focus group. Very poor UI. Doesn't let you see the route before accepting, only the distance and the cross streets of the destination. Double offers only list one restaurant when there are actually 2. App may direct you to another location of the same franchise. Sometimes the ONLY information it shows you when receiving an offer is the estimated time, no store, NO PAY, no distance. The app is 100% unusable when this happens. Not enough space here to list the other issues, there are many. PLEASE fix your app

I like driving for Uber, just started recently but the past week I'm having a difficult time with accepting rides while I'm with a rider and now logging in. The app either won't notify me of the request or freezes when I accept and I lose the ride. Last night I missed 3 rides but didn't know until my screen showed I lost them. Volume is a major issue. The volume level automatically changes to 100% when a ride request comes in. This is very frustrating and annoying because the desired volume level is ignored and defaults to full volume. Available pickups also makes the volume change to 100%. If I have my device set at 30% volume/media, the app should not change it to max. Thanks!

it is not worth it. GPS on the app takes you to the wrong place. You can't see how far you have to deliver until after you pick it up. I picked up an order and drove 45 minutes, then had to go to the 4th floor (no elevator) in the rain-no tip. Did 22 deliveries in 8 hrs to make $67. It cost more money in gas then you earn. Not to mention when they have promos you don't even get 1 trip. Had to call 8 times to fix issue. Restaurants rarely have food ready. Not enough space to continue.

There is so much wrong with the Uber app. I only get trips going south from my home. I learned to get around that though. Secondly, the map is terrible. It leads you down dead end streets. It doesn't take the most direct route. And it often has me drop people off in the back of plazas. The worst part is that ride requests seldom go to the nearest car. I had someone in my back seat request a ride, and Uber sent a car from 10 minutes away. With gas being over $5/gal, the pay sucks! Not efficient.

Need to pay driver's better but the app itself is pretty good when not bugged , I'd say 90% of the time it does what it's supposed to, as of yesterday tho 3/1/22 I had trouble confirming picking up and dropping off. The app would try then say unknown error and bring me back to the same confirmation screen looping repeatedly. I only fixed it both times by clicking confirm while calling support (they had not answered yet but I was qued). Idk might have been a fluke but it did waste a lot of time

The base pay is WAY below what it should be for gas prices now & we don't always get tips, sometimes I've ended up only getting $2-$3+ for the whole delivery! Tonight (Mar. 1st, 2022), UE app has had some technical issues, causing me to lose my earnings & a possible tip, plus another delivery that I had to cancel cause it took me so long to get things worked out with support! Which they compensated me $6 for that 1st delivery that had to be canceled even though I delivered it, the app messed up!

Been an Uber driver since 2016, up until recently it has been working fine until I stopped being able to look at my past trips in the earnings page. Usually when that happens it's very busy but usually resolves within a day or by the start of the new week it's been 2 weeks now. I tried all of the troubleshooting methods, restarting my phone, reinstalling the app, turning off and on my network, even cleared the cashe and data and still nothing. It's not my phone it's the app. Please fix this asap

had an issue with it freezing and not letting me accept an order. Could have been my phone because it only happened once. Also the option in the app from account menu to upload a photo needs to be able to work completely instead of sending the request to customer service, whom redirects you to the website to upload it again then wait for it to be reviewed. I was new to the Uber app so I didn't even know I had a message back from the customer support to go to the website which caused some stress.

I haven't been driving for a couple of days, since I was out of state due to my mom passing away. While I was out of state, a bunch of reservations came through that I was unable to accept. Before I left, I accepted three reservations a week in advance. Well those reservations are gone, in fact, the reservations "tab" doesn't even show up anymore. I called support, that was a complete waste of time. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled the app.....nothing. This is very frustrating

I've been delivering with UE since 11/21, it's all been mostly good! I def think it's the easiest delivery app to navigate.I really prefer this app over others but, there's room to improve. The navigation is inaccurate at times. Walmart deliveries (grocery/non-grocery) don't pay enough, especially hauling cases of water, beer, etc! I've never received nor seen a tip option either. Could be my area buy sometimes when it's surging, I don't get many orders or I get really low paying ones. Overall👍

The map fliping and zooming in on the way to your current order when you get a new order pop up on the screen needs to stop! Someone can get in a car accident. You're trying to find a street and the map having a mind of its own when a new order comes up is dangerous. The accept order also needs to be a slide to accept button so we can stop accepting those baited 3$ orders by mistake.

App has allot of bugs, needs work. Specifically the earnings tab doesn't work more often then it does. Inbox tips create a 404 error message. Navigation lags often. Navigation on some roads is broken into repetitive cycles. Update. (2022) the app has been upgraded so much. It is a joy to use this platform that really has a pulse for it's clients and contractors. There have been improvements in all of the areas above so I will not remove my original comment that was made approx 3 years ago, to show the growth of this company. Uber should partner with Instacart and the takeover can begin. Hey whoever's listening at Uber....Instacart needs your help, wink wink✌🏾

Everyone's been nice and helpful and considering they come from all over Florida the time of pickup is never a long long time so I'm very happy using the app as I have about three or four times you're ready to go to hospital. I highly recommend. I just wish you could save the drivers on the app because I've had exceptional drivers and I can't save it on the app so that's the only thing I see wrong

Just started and the glitches are out of this world. The support team is completely unhelpful. My first delivery was $20 including tip and it just disappeared AFTER I made the delivery and support just stated, "well the system glitched so we can't repay you." 2nd delivery was $2, system glitched again, I called & they gave me the $2 but not the $20 from the 1st time. The app closes by itself. I've uploaded docs 3 times and still they don't have them. It's just terrible. Better off w/ Doordash!

I've noticed that when I'm offline I can see surge zones and highlighted areas where rides are in higher demand but when I go online all that info disappears and I'm driving blind in a sense because I don't get to see in real time how and where the busy areas are, causing a significant decrease in my earnings lately..I've uninstalled and reinstalled this app several times and still no change...I have friends who use app as well and they seem to not have any issues with getting real time data.

Ridiculous, obnoxious unsafe to force drivers to choose/lose orders just as they are approaching their destination. At the exact moment we need to focus on the actual moment of delivering, the app disorients you. Especially unsafe for those driving in snow rain at night. I also moved to another US state. Driver update process is straight outta hell. As one delivering pre-plandemic & all thru, seen app change repeatedly for the worse.

App functions well. No major connection issues. The delivery app is very user friendly. I recommend taking time to utilize the tutorial before beginning officially. It can take a few runs to get used to. *This review is about the functions and accesibility of the app, not the pay for deliveries or number of deliveries received.

This used to be my money-making app, but ever since the update, I all but have to be sitting inside the restaurant to get an order. I get what they were trying to do with the proximity thing, but I personally feel it would be beneficial to all drivers to widen that scope just a bit. Overall, I like delivering for Uber specifically because the delivery experience is better. But I've had to resort to using other apps as well to make ends meet and it really sucks.

Navigation system just throws out random streets while driving. Why are we only allowed 2 or 3 "chimes" when we are trying to accept a run? My acceptance percentage is rapidly dropping due to my inability to get to the screen fast enough! Compare my rating over the past 30-60 days and you will see the drop! Also, fix the "speed sensor!" It clocked me at 53 mph while I was at a dead stop. Help!

I'd probably accept more offers if they would stop hiding the total expected earnings in the offer screen. They also have a tap to accept offer feature that get pressed on accident very often. They need to change it to a slider. I avoid turning the app on because of these issues. That and over 90% of the offers are way too low to accept. Maybe they need to change the base pay to $10. I'm sure they lose a lot more money from all of the food that's not getting picked up...

Let's see if they delete this review as well. Overall the app functions well. The main problem is that the bottom ofnthe screen one touch acceptance is a poor design. If you are typing you are going to accept without ever seeing the request. I even accepted one while was pushing the logout button. In fact while typing this review it happened. Change to one touch acceptance to the top or something else. Very poor design.

I've honestly never been so frustrated in all my life. All i wanted to do was reactivate my UberEATS account so that i can make some money but it spiraled into a mess of duplicate accounts and me not being able to make any deliveries whatsoever. The people in charge of the help center tried their best but nothing they did work and now my account was disabled for "Suspicious activity" when I've done nothing wrong. I've received no further help and I've been pushed to my limit.

Not happy with the Uber app lately. The first issue is blocking addresses for us as drivers unless we meet at least 3 out of every 10 orders... then we can see addresses for pick ups and drop offs. This isn't safe IMO. I still can't see addresses of where I'm supposed to drop off. Another issue with the app is that before I can even drop off my order, I'm already getting pop ups for new orders while I'm driving to my destination. Fix this and show us addresses Uber. SMH

This app sucks. Seriously. It works for a while then stops adding your trips and money until you shut it off and start it up again. If you want to get trip details it gives you an error and tells you to try again later. It won't work late either. You have to uninstall the app and the download it then it will work for maybe a day. Very frustrating and inconvenient. Get it fixed, your better than this.

Honestly just trying to make full time ,however, all the glitches and GPS/navigation is so lagged behind sometimes i miss the house or whatever im at. Also, the tipping is messed up. I know we have to wait for tips but sometimes i have to wait 2 days to receive them. Then when i update the app it tells me i updated it weeks prior to the new update. Something isnt right. And now my account is fully blocked cannot accest anything on it. Fix it!

Need some consistency with the app, being able to utilize when in motion. I had to pull over just to continue the navigation, a normal feature that you would utilize just to see exactly where you're going, but if the route changes and you need to push the navigation feature, you have to pull over in the middle of a freeway, to utilize it, there's no consistency or logic behind it

The app is super glitchy. I need to reinstall it on a regular basis to get it to work right. I also wish there was a way to decline orders to certain areas without getting penalized. I shouldn't get sent less orders because I don't want to risk my life going to one of the murder capitols of the US. There needs to he more options for people that don't feel safe in certain areas. Another driver literally got shot this past weekend.

I've been with uber for over a year and over 1.700 rides. I signed up for delivery because I wanted to try it, now it's no longer and option but inherent to the driver app, no longer being able to opt out of it. If you try to under your preferences it will tell you that one option need to be selected and the only option IS delivery. I've waited 30 minutes for a pick once, only to be met with a 3 dollar delivery order. Ridiculous.

For all those with the audio issues, check settings. Newest download reset the audio. Seriously, I started deleting apps one by one to see which ones messing up Uber app, then reset to factory thinking the latest Android update borked it, finally drilling down into settings. There is more settings the app changed so check it all. I wish Uber didn't do stuff like this, however...

Worst app ever. Expect issues during navigation. There will be an unecessary number of horribly chosen user interface pop ups at the worst times while driving. This app is just down right unsafe, horribly managed, and generally performs very poorly. Focus on your driving. Please, forget the notifications and don't address them until it is absolutely safe for you to do so. It's not worth it.

Every time the app updates, it get worse and worse. Very much like they aren't thoroughly testing it in real world settings. It has been missing the beacon integration for a while now, even though they are still in the wild. It now forces my music volume to full whenever I get a notification through the app, forcing my to turn it back down while I'm driving. Asides from when given a stop, sometimes it doesn't match up with what the rider sees. These are just my recent experiences.

This app is garbage. Changed your phone number? No way to fix this issue unless you go to the website and screenshot your phone number so they can change it in the app for you. An error occurs when you try to change your bank account or credit card information. This process to become a driver again is total and utterly painful. I do not understand why this just has to be difficult. Verify through the email geniuses.

I work Uber Eats in Houston & use a quality phone, Samsung S9, so I don't expect or experience app issues, works very smooth. I've used cheap phones & experience all kinds of problems. The apps user interface could be better. Everything is spread out and requires constant scrolling or searching to find details of live orders. Everything should be viewable on one screen. For example.. the thumbs up/down icons take up about a 1/3 of the screen, a waste of space.

It's so-so. The navigation is horrible and the voice is wretched. I wish it would just pop out to Google maps instead. I dislike that you can't really see the whole route for your drive before you accept, and that you only get a few seconds to choose. It also isn't the easiest to navigate through the menus.

Hello, I started using the Uber Driver app on Nov 01, 2021 and fell in love with it immediately. I am a 61 year old female and I am not able to carry cases of water up 2-4 flights of stairs. I have tried contacting support in the past about removing Walmart deliveries from my offers but I was told that it was not possible and to just decline the request which now penalizes me. I did not sign up to deliver cases of water or groceries. We need options to remove Walmart offers please.

The GPS in this app is not very accurate. It also has an option to set a destination to only accept rides going in that direction. It tells you you've arrived at your destination way before you ever even get there and you can't click the screen off or sign offline. Started receiving notifications for more trips in the direction I just came from and I hadn't even arrived at my destination yet. 🙄

Overall, I am pleased with the app and it's one of my favorite gig options. One click decline is a huge plus for safety (I'm looking at you, doordash. Do better). Payouts seem to be better than other gig apps. I'm hovering around 60% acceptance and still making decent money. I don't feel the need to decline more. But app glitches, GPS issues, and support hold this back from being a 5-star option. I gave them more detailed info in the survey but I'm not naive enough to think it will be noticed.

I loved using this app. The freedom and flexibility it used to provide me was amazing. I really used to make between $25/$30 an hour. I haven't been able to use it in about a month, it says my background check is pending. It took doordash hours to do mine, and they both use chekr. I don't know if they are actively trying to lock out drivers or they are genuinely having trouble. I hope I get to use this app again though, good side hustle.

A couple things- after the new update, when accepting a trip the volume jumps all the way up and I constantly have to keep turning it down. That is quite annoying and distracting. Also, when I'm in the airport lot, it no longer notifies if the trip is over 45 mins. I spent an hour in rush hour going all the way from MIA to Ft Laud Beach in rush hour when I could've declined and gotten more trips for a shorter distance. Please try and fix these issues.

I've been using Uber off and on since 2020. It has had many flaws but what has really pissed me off is that over the last two weeks I've noticed reduced trips when I don't pick a few because they're like $2.50-$5.00 for long drives. I've had less food requests because of that and that's unfair. What's frustrating as well is that trips pop up and accidentally get pressed or get selected on their own without me touching it. I use Google maps because Uber maps dont work that well. I'm dissatisfied

Major problem currently with the app. Whenever you get the signal for a new delivery, it drives the volume all the way up. If you try to turn it down when it's ringing, it just pushes it back up again. This is very annoying if it goes off while you're dropping the food off and the customer asks you not to knock or ring. Or if you have another order in your queue, and your dropping off in a hotel or apartment hallway when you hit 'delivered' it blasts your next pickup all over the place.

It's a great app. My only complaints are I wish I could see the exact or even just the street name of the drop off location before I pick up the food, easier to see"busy" areas and I'd like it to be easier to change my profile picture. I would drive 45+ mins to go deliver somewhere where I could get 6+ deliveries in a few hours than stay in my hometown and get maybe get 1 a day. I would love to do some long distance deliveries also.

I rate 3* due to google map. It is not accurate most of the time about the house # or customer's address. I would suggest Uber to use waze app as it atleast says which side is the house. It's a struggle to find the house at night time and, OR, in a very busy street. And moreover, sometimes the tip is not enough for far distance. Also, I'll be grateful if Uber eats driver can see the customer address while accepting the order in order to take right decision. Thanks!

I've had "Getting Account Ready" Status for 2 days, missing dozen$ in bonuses because I can't drive. All documents have been updated & I have followed every single protocol. Their offices are not accepting phone calls and messaging is very vague, automated, unresponsive. Not happy. Look into driving for Lyft instead. Update: for the seventh time within the last 6 months Uber has dropped my consecutive trips so that I can't obtain a bonus which means a loss of dozens of dollars.👎customer service
