My nutritionist Mr. Rush has helped me and encouraged me by talking and understand when i slip up and get me back on track!
I really like this app. It's very helpful and teaches you how to eat healthier and I love that I have a personal dietitian to help me and answer any questions I have.
Forced by my workplace benefits to use this because they deem anyone overweight as "ew you're obese" even if you have high muscle mass throwing off your BMI. It won't even adjust to my doctor-ordered no grains diet!
Inwish there was a way to hide recipes you have decided you don't want to make. They keep coming up and Inhave to scroll past them. Would be easier to find what I want to if I didnt have to see those recipes I specifically determoned I do not want to see.
Current connectivity problems to virgin pulse with 2 different passwords creating difficulty in programs talking to each other...frustrating, was pleased b4 the update last week, but now not so much
I love this app it is help me to have better control of my type 2 diabetes lower my cholesterol and even my high blood pressure I've been able to eat more often and foods that I love because it is tailored to what I like I've tried other apps but none worked for me so far this is the best app I've ever downloaded for food it keeps a grocery list for you and the recipes that you choose you can save them and it even put all the ingredients that you will need for that recipe in your grocery list
If you are willing to spend hours preparing and have a huge pantry of specific and fresh food this app is for you. If you want to ready simple stuff fast, just look up recipes for the food you ACTUALLY have on hand. And uninstall this stupid thing.
10 ☆s!!! I had a problem and they were able to fix it and that MATTERS so much. So they would get 10 ☆ from me
Misleading questions in health assessment: Users are asked to respond with how many times per day they eat different foods but the output report converts these times per day into servings. So if you eat 2 meals per day, each with 3-4 servings of vegetables, the report you receive will say you only ate 2 servings and aren't meeting your dietary requirements.
There's no option for Keto. The meal options ignore what you indicated in the quiz that you dont have or dont like.
This app is missing BASIC functionality. Third-party sign-in does not work. Doing it in-app just opens the third-party site in this apps internet pane. I already have an internet app. Foodsmart is a poor alternative
I git a call from them setting up me and my daughters dietary nuturitianist and got 2 gift cards and free of charge appointments to help with our diet goals! Thank you so much! Its a great and healthy app.!
Terrible customer service. They don't let you edit or delete accounts and don't communicate. Also the recipes aren't very good or varied.
Has helped me save time and also get more on track with eating well balanced meals. I love that you can online shop through the app as well.
Awful. Limited recipes and dated info. There are the same 14 beef recipes since I started using 3 years ago and I NEVER see new recipes, only the same recycled ones. Lazy programmers? Weird ingredients in the recipes and the app doesn't filter out allergens. Waste of money for my employer. I don't see how anyone would willingly use this app unless forced by their employer, like myself. I wish it were truly useful but it's garbage and never gets updated. I use other apps outside of this.
Easy recipe. Cooking is not easy for me but I have found some easy recipe to make and they are very good.
Would appreciate the ability to 'dislike' or remove meals and not have them show up in the recipe listing. Can't sort or filter outside of broad allergy/intolerances and cost. Would be nice to filter to include or exclude certain ingredients.
No way to add more items to pantry. No suggestions to use ingredients I already have. Only options are to buy things I don't actually need
Meal plan feature doesn't work. Food shopping function only works with Walmart. App seems nice until you try to use it. No user help or customer support functions whatsoever.
All of a sudden I'm getting a survey everytime I log in from Shreya. I'd this wasn't tied into the wellness program at work I'm not sure I'd use it any longer.
There is no way to create custom recipes or filter to sort out certain ingredients other than top 8 allergens. Many of the recipes sound unappealing. You are better off spending the money on a WW membership and making a grocery list yourself.
Straight forward and easy way to find recipes for whatever reason. My go to for new healthy recipe ideas!
The app got installed ok, but won't allow me to login using my Engage credentials, and it claims that it should be able to do so!
Lots of categories of recipes, but no organization within the categories. Nice to be able to make a shopping list from a recipe. Favorites is a joke. No way to organize or even search within them.
Your amounts are ridiculous. 7/8 cup of mushrooms? Just call it a cup. And let's get some quick recipes with stuff I have in the house, which is not herbs de Provence. I'm not going shopping every day either so how about using dried herbs? It looks like there are a lot of recipes at first but it's just the same ones in different categories.
I find it helpful for finding new things to eat. The recipes are sometimes incomplete and when I adjust the servings the ingredient list doesn't adjust according, I have completely ruined a couple recipes as a result
There's no way to print a recipe and I can't cook from a little screen with my old eyes. Very frustrating.
Love this app, you have a wide selection of recipes to choose from. The ones that I have tried are really good!
Gives you a wide range and variety of food to try. A different way of cooking. Easy to follow step-by-step instructions.
Click sign up. It ask for employer. Apparently based on my employer I'm not allowed to use this app.
This app does not give you the daily recipe so I still have to log onto computer so why do I need this app
Don't get credit for browsing recipes or adding to grocery list. App used to work now it rarely works
Seems like a scam. My company provides this service to me, but when I go to create an account, it sends me to another website/app that I've never heard of. Why do I need to make 2 accounts on 2 separate websites? Why do I need to give the last 6 of my social?
Love this app. Has helped me eat healthier and lose weight. Easy, quick recipes for my busy schedule!
A workplace service I'm actually using! I get Zipongo through my employer and I love it. I think it's a very elegant solution to meal planning and it helps me eat healthy and reduce food waste. Very happy all in all.
Would have loved to try it out, but there is a decided lack of a sign up option on the app, and the website just has me downloading the app, which brings me back in a circle. And finally, it lacks a signup option for the single most widespread health insurance plan in the country. So explain how I'm suppose to sign up on this 'user friendly' app that goes out of its way to make it impossible to do just that.
Frustrating! The ingredient amounts are supposed to be adjustable based on the servings you are preparing. The math is wrong. I thought I'd deal with it by just setting it to one serving and doing my own calculations. Quantities based on one serving are wrong, too. Also, the recipes state amounts that don't correlate with anything. I've liked the recipe ideas, but I'm uninstalling because I may as well be creating my own recipes with all of the guesswork in quantities.
insights are inaccurate, you can't mark what you actually do, and e en when you eat amazingly healthy, you're still yellow-to-red. I call BS.
Tried to login with "Engage", it doesn't recognize that I already have the Engage app downloaded and won't let me sign in (on a Galaxy Note 9).
It has potential, but some major flaws. For example, I put in preferences that my family doesn't like to eat beans, but then my meal plan included a bean chili recipe. What is the point of putting in food preferences if the app will not tailor recipe selections to those?
super disappointed. I was excited about everything the app promised only to find out it wont let me sign up... on the app or online. it keeps saying I might qualify for a premium account through my employer but I don't, and it never gives me an option to bypass this to continue to sign up. what a shame. hoping they can get this fixed
doesn't work. I tried to do the quiz to be entered for the meal kit, but it just goes into an infinite Loop repeating same questions. and what I could see of the quiz is worthless anyway because the allowed answers don't fit my eating habits.
Unable to login using my virgin pulse login. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and logging into virgin pulse first and still unable to login. Very disappointed! [Edit] I emailed customer support and received the generic response that someone will get back to me. Three days have passed and no additional response received yet.
The recipes are mostly gourmet, so if you like to save money, unless you want to make your own grocery lists or are good at improvising, this isn't the app for you. Additionally, the app constantly signed me out, so while it's a minor inconvenience, having to sign in everyday gets to be a bit of a bother.
I like how easy it is to make a meal plan for the week and swap out meals. I love the visual grocery list feature. It inspires me to cook more and the recipes are customized to me.
New meal planning feature is super easy and all the recipes have been great so far! Having a digital personal cookbook has been a huge time saver too
Zipongo sent me an email newsletter. When I clicked the 'unsubscribe' link, it required me to log in, and after login it just redirected me to a page telling me to download the app and prompting me for my mobile number. Closing the window and trying the unsubscribe link again sent me to the same app download page. Visiting the homepage and clicking the login link top-right again sent me to the app download page. Not providing an email unsubscribe is illegal and hostile to customers. I blocked all email from zipongo. I never want to have anything to do with this app or service again.
Like the recipes but the interface needs work. If you open a recipe and use the back button to get where you previously were in a list of recipes, within a category, it does not take you back to the previous screen. It takes you not only out of the place in a list of recipes you scrolled to, it takes you out of the category all together. Meaning you are constantly having to go back into a category and rescroll to find where you left off in viewing the recipe list. A big time waste.
Great idea, but so many problems with the app. First, it does not report back to Virgin Pulse. Second, you get logged out silently, and randomly. Third, if you hit their Captcha verification, it is impossible. On the flip side, the recipies are pretty good. I also like the filtering system - you set your preferences like vegetarian or vegan, and it's pretty good about only showing you recipies that fit the bill.
I love that you can customize what recipes to search for according to your dietary needs. For example if you are Vegan or if you have certain food allergies.
I like the recipes and the grocery list you can make but I am missing some of the features like local deals and restaurant options.
