Super useful to pinpoint what's using your pipe. If it had a way to throttle the hotspot on my phone it would be an awesome must have app. If it did it by user so one could use unlimited bandwidth and another would have limited throughput I wouldn't be able to live without it. If such an app exists please tell me.

I downloaded more than 20 like that and found a best glassware because it is ad free , privacy and security is good. And another like this app is Traffic monitor which is also quite good. Best app. 👌

Better than other apps enlisted in playstore. Only due to less no of downloads this app gets ignored. But on trying I've realised that this app clearly functions to what we need. Not just that it analayses the present and future but unlike other apps it ensures to provide data usage details of past. Really helpful.

No way to block an app from just using mobile data. I want to block some apps from using mobile data but I still want them to have access to wifi. Apparently you can do this by making different profiles but you have to physically open the app and change the profile. There should simply be an option to block just mobile data, or block wifi, or block both for each app. Of course Andoid should have that functionality built in but, don't get me started about Google's frequent failings.

Love the app. But is there a way to put the speed on the top? Kind of annoying to swipe it down to know the speed tbh. It's just a minor inconvenience ,but I would love to have that feature in there. Thank you so much keep up the good work.

I had an app running in the background using crazy amounts of data. At home, I didn't notice it, but when I left the house, it began eating mobile data. I normally use very little data so I use a limited data plan of 2g/month. The app was using 2g an HOUR! Neither I nor Verizon could find what app was using the data. I installed GlassWire and immediately found the offending app and uninstalled it. Had I been running GlassWire in the first place, it would have saved me $75. Thanks GlassWire.

Really horrible software experience. Just beware before subscribing for this service. The activation code will give you and error message a few weeks after buying. And they have no customer care representative at all to trouble shoot. Just an heads up, if you are looking for a good software experience look elsewhere.

Pretty nice application. Does provide useful information and has a good looking gui. Too bad it relies on a (local) VPN connection to provide services like the firewall. I already use a (n always on) VPN and you can't have two VPN connections on simultaniously.

says "in-app purchase", doesn't say "only trial version, need to pay a subscription for services hosted on device" why would i pay repeatedly for something that is completely self contained on my device, it's not like it needs to connect or run from a remote service that costs the devs for upkeep, it's like buying a copy of an os... then paying for it again every year, even if you don't update or upgrade from that 1st version

It's a nice tool, was really handy when I was a data-miser, even bought a theme! Just tried it again and the GlassWire local VPN feature for live usage broke my ability to upload images to Kijiji and Telegram, caused other weird/slow connectivity issues; stock ROM, not rooted, bootloader even locked. Limited usefulness now so... meh?

Using very well from last year. Good to know data usage and block apps from net access. Only issue is that it has problem with GMT & IST timings. After 2300 IST, it takes usage as next day. informed customer support and paid 99 today for firewall full fledged access. How they fix it

Top notch. The Developer has not only made an effort to build the app in a superb presentable way with perfectly blending themes and an appealing font but has also provided most of the frequently needed information like live data of apps accessing internet and sorting out and filtering it to your prefernce. What wod make the app perfect for me, would be a floating dashnoard and a minimized panel to access over app adjustments and setting quickly. Generally, built with intention. 4.5/5 👍🏾

I love this app, it allows me to control which Apps can run in the background and which ones I want to remain off my data stream. The only drawback is that I have to turn off the fire wall for certain apps that can detect the VPN. Other than that it is the best App to control how much data your device uses passively and I recommend it to my cellular customers all the time to help them control their data consumption.

5 stars purely for one reason, that reason is that you can live monitor what apps are using your network in real time using the live graph feature. I wasn't able to find this feature on any other app without root. That makes us a great diagnostic tool.

Just FYI everyone. I like this app, paying user for over a year, but if another app(s) suddenly stops working / connecting, then check GlassWire's firewall settings first!!! Otherwise you might end up chasing your tail... 🤦 Edit: Ok, it happened again, but was kinda self inflicted. If you try using GlassWire's live graph function it tells you to switch the firewall to "experimental", so I did. The live graph function is neat, but later on a different app couldn't connect. Switched back and ok.

A bug i guess: So I'm using the firewall on default with ip6 support, and realized that as soon as i changed to experimental the upload speed was dramatically reduced from 130mbps to 12mbps and ping went from 8ms to 20ms regardless of ip6 switch and regardless of your VPN status (i tested all combinations). The DL speed was not affected in any case. Tests were performed using both browser & app based testers. Unfortunately the live Graph view does not work except with experimental ON.

There are two things I want from a data monitor app: 1. The ability to see how much data each individual app is using. 2. See my real-time data usage in the top bar, not just the pull down notification screen. This app does the first one fine but the second thing is missing even in the subscription. There are basic, free data monitoring apps that do it so it can't be hard to implement.

Overall, love the app. But I have faced some issues. You see my plan is very specific. I get 2 gb of data from 6am to 12 am. And them from 12 am to 6 am, it's unlimited. I downloaded the app to monitor that. But unfortunately the timer cannot set for half a day and only for 24 hours. So that's the issue I ran into. If there is a setting that I missed please inform me. But other than that, the app is perfect.

I use Glasswire on a PC and it's excellent, but on Android the firewall causes all sorts of issues. The most obvious will be the slow loading (or failure to load) of images on Twitter. Strange things like this happen across all sorts of apps.

Just uses the "Usage Data" that is already inside most of the modern smartphones. LOL and simply adding a simple GUI with a firewall and even though you need to pay some dollar/s per year to use the added firewall, not really worth it since, I think, only a few system apps were able to be disabled through its firewall. However, the only things that were usable here was the realtime use of data of your bloatware apps. Notification for apps using some data only functioned once then is unusable...?

The pc app is much better than the phone app. I wish it had something to trace where your packets go on the web but that is besides the point. Update... tracking wifi after update. I hope it does not break down again. If it does I hope for a fast fix. Haha.. my respect to the dev team. I like their work. I hope to see more improvements and development.

Awesome app that gives you easy access to information pertaining to data usage. I love being able to see how much data is being used in real time simply by pulling my notification bar down. You can even see how much data each app uses individualy, broken down by data/wifi with dates. Subscribed to the app and use it near daily as a reference after daily, weekly, and monthly data usage.

Using the canon camera app on the phone trying to connect to my camera does not work while glasswire is on , i have to disable glasswire then im able to connect to my canon camera via the app on the phone . Its a vital way of us being able to edit or upload photos in the outdoors . I have tried all the options that are available in the glasswire app with no change. Spoke with canon and they can not change it .

Firewall does a lot of blocking. It also lies applications that allow them, ie. It has not been blocked, an example of special importance: both of my Android print to Wreath Ethernet printers (especially Horsepower Hoursm using Hpsmart). As soon as I disable the firewall, all my printing capabilities returned. I hope the program is updated in the closer time

I thought this was a great application, so I installed also the version for Windows 10. But their version for Windows 10 is ransomware-like software. I blocked an appllication to access internet with GlassWire free version for Windows 10. After a few days I tried to unblock it. I couldn't believe my eyes when a webpage opened and asked me to pay at least $39 in order to unblock the application.

Works extremely well. Usage can be viewed for daily, weekly, monthly and annually with flexible start date. Mine commences Jan 6 when I do my annual recharge with widgets set up showing usage for the month I'm in as well as year to date. While I dont anticipate going over there is the normal range of alarms if it is an issue. Currently on the free trial. I'll update once over if ads are excessive or features are trimmed.

This is great to block internet to apps, especially new ones by default, so they can't show annoying ads. Edit: lately it seems the VPN has been making media upload and sometimes download debilitatingly slow, making sending images on most messaging apps also very slow. I've had to turn it off which fixed my problem instantly.

Seemed good at first, then apps (Wikipedia, BBC News, Facebook and others) began either taking ages to start up or stalling for a while and before crashing. Did all the standard stuff for affected apps like reinstalling, clearing cache etc, with no joy. Then I remembered I'd installed Glasswire last week so I uninstalled it and everything went back to normal. I've now reinstalled just to see if the same thing happens again and will try and remember to update this review either way.

This app used to be amazing and I had no issues with it. However as of recent, almost nothing loads with the firewall enabled. I've verified the apps in question are allowed through, but still have issues. The problem exists regardless of the wifi network I'm connected to and on mobile data. I've cancelled my subscription.

It is good, but I it needs TWO interfaces, the detailed one is good for finding out what apps are just chewing up your data and need to be stopped or what ever, but this interface is too complex for regular daily use. It needs "The basic interface" where you can have TWO lines of numbers, and a selection of hourly, daily or weekly data use, and the second is a weekly, monthly, quartly or annual data consumption. e.g. 286 MB Day 66.854 G Month

Why can't I enable firewall to block apps from accessing internet. Each time I try it stays off. I just get the on boarding messages but after clicking next ..it goes back to an off state. I'm using the premium version. I will change my rating if I get a fix for this bug.

Excellent. Does exactly what it should do. Or at least it did. Now drains the battery more than any other app on my phone. Certain apps (even if unblocked) wont connect. Had to uninstall it just to get on here to type this. Edit: gone back to v360r because that one works fine. I can't use this new version it slaughters my battery too much and blocks unblocked apps.

Brilliant, far superior than any other meter. Perfectly accrate. Furthermore the firewall option to block traffic is second to none, it can control your bandwidth better than dedicated limiter apps. I can even block services thus 100% uninterrupted gameplay allowing only the 2 or 3 needed network connections. It's the 1st thing I install everytime, even before magisk ect. It could be 5x the price and that would still be a bargain. Thank you.

Phenomenal! When you have extremely Limited internet capabilities at home this app is a must. It enabled us to see what our computers or devices were doing so we could find out where our limited bandwidth was going. Now that we have proper high-speed internet oh, it's helping identify a lot of things on the network that we didn't know we're going on

Significantly impedes use now after latest update. 4g, 5g and WiFi all run with about 250ms latency with glassware enabled. Updates are painfully slow. Play store detects WiFi as a mobile connection. I was preparing to open a complaint with Samsung but disabling glasswire fixed all my problems. I pay for glasswire for security and now I have to choose between security and stability.

This app was great. The vpn and ability to block network connections of apps that do not need network connectivity WAS great. For some reason since the last Andriod update, any network connection is blocked the firewall turns off and will not turn on until everything is allowed network access. Also, the VPN has disappeared. I have restarted my phone and removed/ reinstalled the app. No change. Update: I tapped the feed back and checked the box to include log files. The developer replied.

For the people complaining about the Internet required access...is required to resolve the host, display the server name...and location if that feature is implemented.I believe if you remove the Internet access on the properties screen of the app you can disable the Internet access and it should work anyway, but you will miss the new features that the developer is implementing. They are charging for the service, and they also have a great firewall for Win OS... I trust them and for me is OK that.

Not bad though not very intuitive. i bought a subscription but unfortunately the firewall doesn't have alert for first usage, without which it is not very useful for me. i like to block everything and only allow when the app tries to access the internet for the first time. otherwise it is just too much work to decide manually in advance for the hundreds of apps i have. Also does not show real time like Windows app.

Firewall Stops working every now and then. Can't get what could be the reason now. I paid for this app just to keep revisiting and enabling the firewall? Moreover now it can't be enabled unless I clear the cache/data from storage. Every 2-3 day I have to revisit & the firewall is off. Do I need to keep following up with you? Hopeless application. 🌟 reduced to 1.

Good day. I love your app in that it gives the user some level of control over his or her phone by blocking Internet access to your chosen app. This, it does very well. Also, I feel the App should have some other features like; - ability to change DNS - ability to restrict DNS(whitelist and blacklist DNS) - or, provide a list of DNS to choose from (9.9.9.9, 1.1.1.1, 1.1.1.2 etc) - provide a list of recommended Apps to be blocked from the Internet(calculator apps, Flashlight apps etc) Thanks.

Really good app that has lost some functionality with the android S beta - with the amalgamation of WiFi and mobile data under 'internet' settings, it is no longer apparently able to track WiFi data usage. Otherwise v useful before that point and will be again if this is fixed.

With the new major update, many of my gripes from before are addressed but new ones were created. The firewall now keeps apps in the block list after they update. Data leakage is fixed. However, there are no longer separate rules for WiFi and data, so it's all or nothing. I can no longer use WiFi with the knowledge that if my connection drops, the firewall will kick in. That limits the usefulness of the app for me. Still useful if I'm out and want strict per-app data blocking though.

After bombarding me for years with awful YouTuber advertisements I finally downloaded to see what an app (that shouldn't need internet) was connecting to. Low and behold turns out this is literally just a firewall and data usage-bar-graph-maker. So it's worthless. USER RESPONSE: Yea I know. It's literally takes the info that Android already shows you and turns it into a bar graph.

Wonderful app and just what i needed to monitor my usage. I am using the paid version and love the different theme and the beautiful UI. It is very easy to keep track of your mobile data and wifi usage (you can track it separately or combined). I would recommend shelling out the minimal amount for the subscription as the app is worth every penny. Edit : They added a ui to display the network speed which is wonderful addition.

Apparently I tried the demo premium version on a previous device. So I purchased premium to try it. I'm almost happy with the firewall feature (more of an application control) I really need to be able to set ask for access on Android per application. The issue is when you are trying to discover what connects to the internet without your knowledge. I would block apps that I haven't asked to do so. Glasswire fails in this regard, I would need to remove all apps and reinstall after Glasswire 😞

I installed this to monitor the mobile data usage on my phone. I am using Android 10. I have seen a comment that a fix was coming. This was at the end of November 2019. We are now in January 2020 and it still doesn't work. This is the main purpose of the app so you would have thought this issue would've been looked at as I matter of urgency. Edit: May 2021 This is a long over due update. This now works perfectly, thank you

When using "Allow or deny" option in firewall (premium version) there are no alerts for connection! 🤔😞 Android 7 (nougat) It's also lacking any kind of features that would allow me to view or monitor what kind of data is being sent in and out. Overall, these would not stop me from using the software! 👍👍👍

Extremely nice, quick, precise, and easy to use. The only bad thing is the lack of a internet speedometer notification icon so I can quickly check the speed. They already explained the reason why the app doesn't have that feature on the forum but still.

Found this app from Linus Tech Tips and I'm not disapointed. It is such a clean design and gives the average user all of the features that they would be looking for. It does have a premium subscription, but the app is extremely functional for most people even without it. Keep up the great work guys!

This app this the best out there for tracking data, period. It especially shines when you use it for a while and see how it shows trends. Between what I do, and my 2 kids on my hotspot, it's really important for me to know where the data is going or I'll run out before my cycle restarts. I've tried every app in the app store for tracking data and this one is by far the best. The developer PROMPTLY answered a question with full & clear answer. I don't often pay for apps but I did this one.

Absolutely perfect! Does Exactly what it says. The only problem is that for some reason it doesn't measure background data so it's estimations are always off by a few hundred mb. I found this out by checking the fore and background data usage for an app through the phones UI and comparing it with Glasswire's estimates. It turns out the app totally ignores background data. Is there a setting I messed up?

This is a good app. it thick most of the boxes. it does it work nicely and has a fine interface. it could be better if the team added a status bar speed meter. I thought that is in the premium package until I subscribed and didn't see it.

I would have given a 5 star rating if what they claimed worked, but it seems that if you try to block Instagram from accessing the Internet, you will still get push notifications coming through. What is the point of a firewall when Facebook malware can still pass through undetected (it doesn't even show up as traffic in glasswire)? Not working as advertised. I will cancel my subscription if this problem is not addressed soon.

I love this app! It lets me know how much data I'm using and what apps can/can't use it. Firewall isn't a feature I expected, but I'm glad it's there when I need it. Only thing missing is a schedule to turn off data, for example when I'm going to bed and I'm not using my phone. A widget for the home screen might help as well. Edit: There's a widget now! However I can't find an option to add it to the home screen. I long-pressed on the icon and it's not there. Update: 5 stars, I have a widget now

Not a bad data manager it looks a little intimidating at first but it is very easy to use and it has some in-depth tools to completely control incoming and outgoing connections coming to your phone you can block individual apps from accessing data or you can block your entire system of apps either way it's pretty easy to use and have some good features

The best part of the app was the real time data traffic graph. After updating this feature is no longer available. Even after uninstalling and then restoring the old version from a titanium backup, now the program just crashes on startup. Now I know ---- Never never update Android apps!

Full star for Usability and Experience. I removed two stars for the lack of features I got from paid subscription. 1. I'd want to see an integrated bandwidth test, for free or paid. 2. Even though the bandwidth meter is a paid feature, there's no option to make it appear on the notification bar like other apps out there. I don't want to keep pulling down the bar to see the speed hence it interrupts my work. 3. Dual-sim support for mobile data plans, for free or paid.

So far so good everytime some apps tries to connect to the network always gets blocked which is really great especially for those apps whose not even supposed to connect 😏 to the network. However got some issues using it together with express VPN. I'm unable to connect when my firewall is on even thou i already set to allow connection.

This product is great 👍 it just works and gives you the basic options you may want (including data usage stats) in a modern clean and clear user interface. This product also has some basic visual customization in the way of themes, that can be changed if you have a subscription. Look out for deals on their subscriptions as it can be great value for money if you use GlassWire on PC.🙂

in a previous version there was a realtime graph monitoring of your connections. It was great, with nice smooth curves , but due to a change in some Google 's API there ain't anymore. Still, Glasswire is a great app to monitor what's going on under the wood. I just could suggest to buy the annual subscription!

Great visibility into data limit outside of bluetooth and meter connection in windows, unkown devices n homegroup firewall for password of it cookies, printout bonjour, software, apps, and range of the location where it was located. Combine with fing, find, and windows feedback and would be able to track root caus to submit without network connection later, want to know if error caused by network restore or something else plus it was the conversation with my phone number and address. No update

I have loved this app for a couple years now, but latest update was disappointing: I've lost credit for previous purchases - with this new version I'm back to the basic entry-level app and if I wish my prior services I'm required to repurchase, including a yearly enrollment. At least there are still no ads. (I did not get a new phone, just updated the app. But I'll try the "fix.") UPDATE: I got back my wallpaper, but not the firewall.

In the data plan section with a duration per day, developer might add an end time. So we don't have to receive all of the the alerts all the time. Because there are several ISPs that implement data usage per day but are limited to a certain time. This feature will make it easier for users to monitor their next daily data plan and not bothered by lots of alerts. Besides that, overall this application provides accurate data usage, easy to use, and has a beautifully designed UI

App is fairly useless now thanks to a change from Google. This is not the developers fault. This occurred sometime at the beginning of the year. I've been subbing this on my daughters phone for at least a year before that. I'm zeroing the stars because IMHO, the change was swept under the rug and not made clear. They are still aren't clear if you've been using this thing on a fire & forget setting. It took me 20 minutes to dig around and realize that the app's functionality had totally changed. The app can no longer block data automatically when going from wifi to mobile data. This is not the fault of the developer. You must manually flip a firewall profile. This is useless. How did I find out this was a problem? When my daughters phone..the one with a paid subscription..sucked up a gig of data over mobile over the course of two days. This is the fault of the developer for failing to be more upfront about the change. Very little effort was made to inform users of how damaging a change this was to the app. Response to Developer: Like I read your blog posts. The app should have popped up and said it was essentially no longer working.

I support the cause and I am a sucker for pretty dashboards but (1) It's misleading that's a firewall when its only a tunnel to nothing, like plenty of those available on F-Droid, plus most of those are open source. (2) Being a tunnel it conflicts w/my own tunnel which also does the cleanup/blocking/interception/etc. I didn't use it long enough because I was so offput by the "firewall" that I didn't get to test if the connection if left to hang which is bad or if it's rejected outright, being a dead endpoint tunnel I assume the former but what I really didn't agree with it the (3) subscription when no service is being offered and there's no room for meaningful improvement. It's just bloat from now on, the core feature set, if you can call it that, is done. I was going to go along with it because of the cause and I'd probably pay more for some random design I like--time was spent after all, but then I realized I can just go straight to the EFF and donate. If you like pretty graphics and need a quick killswitch I guess it's fine, the themes are just color palette schemes though, iconography is the same…and you can always try airplane mode. It's not OK to opportunistically piggyback on a good cause even if you do some good as a side effect when your intentions aren't the best. Hopefully I just got the wrong impression.

Free version doesn't have any of the features you'd want, those will all require a subscription to unlock. That said, I'd be happy to make a one-time purchase to unlock the 'Pro Features' but don't like the idea of a subscription, regardless of the current price. Sure it may be $4.99/year right now, but once next year rolls around what if it's more and my cc is automatically charged?

Great app. No ads. I love that I it can show data usage on individual days. Helps me track down the most data consumption ones. So I can my manage data allowance usage better. Very accurate. I use the usage meter provided my Isp provider. I needed app to go more in depth. This does just that without any bugs.

Although this update is good, I still am using the older version because they made some of the core parts exclusive to pro users in this update ( Bandwidth meter in notification bar ). Apart from that I liked the app.. The realtime graph of data usage is spectacular and also gives insights into where the data is going. Yes the premium is just 100 an year but still I bought a theme in the previous version to support the work of developers. Sugg : feature to export the data as CSV

Good app. But needs some fixes. I had added two data plans, one renews 2gb daily & another 50gb long term. The app is supposed to deduct data usage from the daily pack first, before deducting from the long term pack. But that doesn't seem to be the case since the app deducts from the long term pack first instead of the daily pack, which leads to incorrectly showing remaining data in my longterm plan. Please fix this - the plan usage queue order.

Well I found this app interesting as in todays date limiting apps from network access is really important. I got the paid version ,but what I can see is that the blocked apps are still having network traffic and I am getting promotional notifications from the blocked apps. So does it really blocks app or we are being fooled ? Update : It seems it was inbuilt adds that it was sending. I tried by blocking wa and it stopped working, so it works. Thanks

When I first installed this app, it came with a very useful firewall functionality that allowed you to restrict or allow apps access to WiFi and/or the cellular network, and I gave it five stars. That now appears to be gone. The remaining data usage monitoring is not much use with unlimited data. However, that said, I've adjusted my rating to 4 stars because the app is professionally coded, works exactly as described, and does not have any impact on system or network performance. Well done.

I've received your reply to my last comment, but that's not the issue I have a concern about. I have a Firewall App, open it up & it lists every app installed on My phone, incl system apps. There you can switch On/Off any apps Internet access whenever you want to. Your app was new from the Playstore & My phone is a decent one. However, when I open My Firewall App, your Glass Wire App, doesn't even show up on the list of apps installed on My phone, it's the only one missing. Why is that?

Loving the app, after seeing Glasswire for PC on a few different Tech's channels out there I thought this may show me some of the usage on my device and I was not disappointed. At present I haven't found much to gripe about after a few days with it. I would say that a widget to enable and disable the firewall on a toggle would be awesome as something like that on the homescreen is a win for me personally. That being said, happy with the app so far and glad someone out there wants to help with people security and privacy, for £5 or such a year, I am happy with that.

They've ruined this app. A year ago I used to use it to see what apps were spamming my connection when I was gaming so I could kill them and be lag free. I got a new phone and updated the app a couple months ago to discover that they've put the "speed meter" (i.e. the ticker that shows you inbound/outbound traffic) behind a paywall! And not only that, you can no longer see what's been using your connection in the past minute, or 10 minutes, the closest you can go is by the past 4 hours. Trash.

Love this app, but more instructional info in the interface would be very helpful. I just selected an app in the firewall list, tapped apply and it was removed from the list. Why wasn't it just grayed out? Where did it go? How do I get it back? Some things shouldn't require a user guide when the interface itself is more informative. Sparse info on the screen does not necessarily make the interface better. But it can make it more confusing. A popup message would have been useful.

Why can't i go directly to the app from alerts, to block it, view it, etc. It's so bloody akwardly to just be able to see that it has made contact, and thats it....#Great, quick response. If it's finished crashing also, the stars will increase....#There should be a icon on glasswire main showing if a app is blocked or not, because now we have to go into every app to see if it's blocked or not#Why can't we sort after install date when viewing what uses data?

I understand you can't work for free. Although, you shouldn't remove functionality that was already free and then offer it as a premium feature. I was using the [real-time] speed meter in the notification, but it was removed in the latest version, and it costs 5 USD to get it back.

The functionality is fabulous. But few things are required. The first thing is widgets. It must have some widgets to directly check the status by watching the home screen. The second thing is this app needs a feature that displays live data usage by apps. Please consider my review as the widgets are very very useful.

The app is fantastic, Great UI to track all my usage. But since the last update, it counts data use at night and when I wake up it shows 100-200MB less than what I've seen total used at previous night. Have to manually enter in the app. A fix to this bug/glitch would be very helpful

The app is rock solid and super light, unlike many competitors, but I'd add a few suggestions for the app, 1. Add start-end date/time of mobile data plan(s) 2. Show more detailed data usage notification (instead of just showing 1 gb, add an option to enable detailed mode, like 1.23 gb or something? And also a progress bar would be neat, showing remaining data plan and the deadline of the plan 3. Give an option to view detailed usage chart (per hour or maybe per half hour would be great) thanks.

So far love the UI and design of the app but would definitely give it 5 stars if in the notification panel we'd get the option to see the data usage based on the plan we've provided like how much is left in data, also would love it if there's a night time data usage option available to set night time plans with start and end times to be manually adjusted! would be perfect 5 stars then!

You screwed it up! I am cancelling my subscription for next year! Update your graphic! It doesn't work that way any more! Back to a rating of ☆! Unless I can retro fit back. It is a piece of ... Good app with potential to be great! Some additional features could include data consumption per wifi network connected to and also set certain times for permissions so for example google photos (a data guzzler) only synchronizes between set times. I have a data plan with different day and night data and want netflix, Google photos, Google drive, Google play etc only to activate during night time.

I honestly love this app because there is nothing so spectacular like this on the market. I use a dongle and have to monitor my daily WiFi usage. There are apps to monitor WiFi but nothing compared to the UI of this app. I love both the PC version as well as the mobile version but I do have some problems. 1) The firewall block doesn't work in mobile version. 2) I'd love to have an option through which I can login into my mobile and PC and see the total data used through both those. The new interface (and bubbles) lag on older and lower end phones. The old interface didn't. Having an option to turn off visual effects would be super nice. Edit: It's not the app content refreshing less often. The problem is, my phone heats up and drops frames while scrolling. Separately, while swiping between days, you need to swipe a little more than what is required for similar navigation in most other apps. And the animation for the month view takes too long.

Edit: five stars after Dev's reply Overall, a really great and useful app. We can monitor the apps using the data in real-time and see how data has been used by individual apps in the past as well. However, the graph in previous version was much better than the current one. That's what led me to knock down two stars. If there would be an option to switch between the graph, I would certainly add the rest of the two stars. But,a BIG THANKS and cheerios to the developers for this app!

Loved It Til 3.0: This App used to provide realtime data down to intervals of a minute. Google changed the OS and broke that ability for Glasswire and they had to rewrite the app and remove that functionality. This makes it way less useful for me. I'd've given it a 5 star rating previously, now it is a 3 and if I didn't know the change was Google's fault it would be a 2 or even a 1 (knowing how good it used/could be affecting my opinion). Will go back to previous version if I can.

A very nice and helpful app, where I live I have a really bad upload speed and any usage of it will cause my apps from my laptop to lose connection. The problem was with my phone who was uploading and I didn't know what... With glasswire in less than 2 minutes I figured out what app caused that and I solved my problem by stopping that app. Other apps just show you exactly what your phone already provided you with but I love that glasswire shows you more if you need that info. Overall great app

Pretty interface but it completely blocked up many essential apps. And now I can't get Firefox to connect. I'm going to have to check the changes made by the app on my own. I installed the app and then removed it in 2 days. Could have been good. But instead it's probably going to be more trouble than I bargained for. I should have paid more heed to the earlier regiews5. So the fault is entirely mine.

Functional app that does what it says it does. I set out to look for an app that could accurately keep track of my monthly data usage, and this app does just that. It's very clean and simple, giving a good overview of usage on a per app basis. A suggestion I would make is to declutter the notification shade by using a collapsed silent persistent notification. In it's current state, the app's notification doesn't contain a lot of information, and it seems like it is creating a lot of wasted space

I previously advised many friends about this program. It was excellent, wonderful, and amazing. This was before the last update, which made it a counter for the amount of consumption only with the disappearance of distinct and detailed details to calculate the speed of the Internet flow in every second The program is now boring with the addition of payment for protection and other trivial things. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for details of internet flow Good luck my brothers, 3max

I would highly recommend this app. Great tool for keeping an eye on who is talking with who. With the paid version you can control that through the firewall settings. See what is using up your data, and able to set data limits and warnings. It monitors Wi-Fi and or, cellular data per app. Able to control and be notified about first time usage app! Take control of your device an app usage of your network ,or cellular data with"GlassWire" Android app.( also a Windows 10 version available)

Good idea but needs work, particularly on the firewall. When you block an app, you'll find it unblocked a few days later. I didn't check the list for a week and almost all of the apps I'd blocked were no longer blocked. I'll probably cancel my renewal. EDIT: The recent update seems to have solved the problem with apps unblocking themselves.

Overall pretty clean look and feel. Significant issues: No custom data alerts, data plan graph period is short by a day ie. it says March 8th through April 6th (instead of through April 7th), custom data graph dates don't work, data plan graph won't isolate mobile or wifi usage, and no at-a-glance usage graph like My Data Monitor. However, they did add a cool new theme. Overall this feels like a beta release.

Version 3 is an utter Disaster for me! I relied on the minute, and 3 hour intervals, but they've been removed from version 3. I can't even side-load the APK from the previous version to un-do this mischief from the developers. (Actually I can, but the re-installed, previous version immediately crashes.) I'll never update my other devices, but I'll miss using GW on this device. At least version 3 shows individual app usages for tapped sub-day data columns.

Only good feature this had was it's data usage a second on the notification bar. Now it paywalled behind the subscription. Makes the app useless compared to Androids built in features already do. Uninstalling it. The developers responses to others negative reviews seem to intentionally miss represent it as a user generated problem then it is infact the apps doing. Pretty scummy.

Used to be my No.1 app before redesign. Now the graphs are useless and take too much time to animate, and its time span is missing options like "past 1 hour", "this plan", etc. Now the services closes randomly in the background and shows wrong data usage when restarted. Also adjusting the data counter for a plan manually still shows wrong data usage in notification. The animations in graph are too much, as if it's a cartoon designed for kids. What a sad redesign.

I've been using GlassWire since December 2019 and my experience with it has been incredible! The company's ad-free & tracking-free policy is a MAJOR plus for anyone with privacy concerns. The UI is very minimalistic and easy to navigate. Dark mode that is includes since update 3.0 is a very welcomed feature. Although, I am sadden to see the real-time data monitor leave, due to a problem with Android 10, I know the team behind this app will continue to develop it to the best it can be!

This update went badly. I don't care much about instant feedback, but I had four different alerts set up with different apps excluded. They all got renamed to "Other" and none of the app exclusions remained. I basically now have to reconfigure all of the alerts. Response to response: why couldn't you have copied over the list of excluded apps? Why couldn't you have given them, if not useful, at least unique names?

DO NOT UPDATE TO 3.0 if already like the app! REAL-TIME BANDWIDTH notification is NO LONGER FREE, that basic feature is now behind a PAYWALL. It's listed under Key Features though. The overall interface has been over simplified and is LESS informative and useful. The usage summary is crammed into a tiny box in the corner, and there is NO REAL-TIME GRAPH like before. There is a free dark theme now, so kudos for that I guess. I reverted back to a previous version and will just use that instead.

Update: after their new overhaul, the app now has better functionality and does accurately report data usage. It is sad that it be longer has live readings, but that isn't SecureMix LLC's fault. Rather it's Androids new framework. Does not work anymore This app used to be the best! However, either after an app update, or after Android 9, the app doesn't show data in real time. The info is delayed by 5 - 10 mins. Additionally it's not accurate as some data using apps don't show up anymore.

I had previously given five stars to this app, unfortunately it seems that Google introduced a limitation that forced the developer to remove the real time graphs that were one of the best features present. With those missing and no possibility of selecting time spans shorter than three hours the app has lost much of its appeal to me..and I am not sure whether to keep using it. I'd like to have the old version back, as on my phone at least it has always been working like a charm.

I really like the Real Time graph of what are apps using mobile or Wi-Fi Internet & which ones are using up my data. The firewall stops apps from automatically connecting without your permission. It's really simple after a little difficulty in what & how to set it up, but once that's done, you don't even notice it's running except to notify you of an issue or to tell you how much data is being used. This is a great app! 5 Stars in my book!

I have an annual subscription to glasswire on a ZTE R2 VISIBLE (VERIZON) phone. Upgrade by ZTE from Android 8.0 to Android 9.0. Seemed to go well but 3 days after upgrade I powered off and on for first time after the upgrade. No data connection at all. 4G data on my phone disappeared. No internet. Long Chat with Visible Support but no fix. After debugging I suspected Glasswire. I uninstalled it. No improvement. Then entered Safe mode. Powered off/on. 4g internet !!! Glasswire???

Well designed with clean and minimalist UI that provides the needed info . Doesnt take a lot of battery while monitoring data usage . Seems to be the most accurate app for measuring data usage on android . Tried it coz I use it on windows and the android app is just as good . Recommended .

I really like seeing what's eating my data, and Glasswire lets me set specific permissions for apps individually, which allows me to deny apps access to the internet if I'm on data instead of wifi. It's especially useful to have a running total of data used when my plan renews, since I don't have unlimited data. But, even on unlimited, you might find it useful to see what apps connect to the net, you might not want apps that you don't use eating up data.

great app. I love the update interval setting. BUT it would be really helpful to be able to account for downloaded data and uploaded data separately. right now when I set a data plan limit for say 100MB, I get the alert only after 20mb usage just because the uploaded data is also accounted for in the total used data.

App looks cool and the idea it's great. However, I'm not sure if it has the option to see individual connections created by an app. It would be amazing to be able to see and block connections for each app instead of blocking the whole app. Something similar to netstat, I almost purchase the $99 version of this app, but that keeps holding me back. Haven't tried windows version so I have to check that one too before purchasing.

There are a lot of great uses for this app! I originally downloaded it for it's fabulous firewall service, and since then I've used it for more things than expected, and now just use it primarily to see if my apps are misbehaving and I need to check their settings again. It's a great app and I recommend it to anyone who needs to stop apps from automatically connecting to mobile or WiFi. I bought it and now I have ultimate control! A+

Glass wire is a fantastic app. You can easily see your data and WiFi usage. The Design is awesome and looks so much better than the design of other data usage apps. In Android 10 glasswire doesn't detect mobile data, but the team is working on it so that's no problem. Good job all in all

Fantastic app, fascinating to see wifi data usage broken down by app, I found that there were apps using my data that I had no inkling ever needed it. Love the ability to restrict wireless and/ or wifi data usage per app. Love the live graphs showing uploads and downloads. Useful but also, if you are like me, downright fun. The only concievable thing that would make GlassWire better for me is if I could schedule apps for restricted usage during certain hours of the day.

doesn't change the fact that IT USED TO WORK perfectly and NOW IT DOESN'T!! hasn't for aaaages. kept looking at it, each update, waiting for updates that fix it again but nope, it's useless. It doesn't record anything any more, IT USED TO! BEFORE the unwanted firewall bloatware that I'll never need coz NetGuard IS and ALWAYS WILL BE better. and how is it that Data Usage Monitor (app) I paid for also still works flawlessly and Glasswire DOESN'T WORK AT ALL any more, exactly the same system?

This app just works. I can choose exactly where to use the limited bandwidth I have. It should be a built-in feature of android, but it's not so more than happy to pay. Super easy to setup and use, clean interface and some nice looking graphs.

This is an awesome app, very intuitive GUI and does all that I expect it to do, including skipping measurement of traffic for some applications that for some reason your mobile carrier might be giving you unlimited data, like Spotify or WhatsApp. I'd like to see added though a forecast option to see how much of my data plan I'll end up using at current pace.

Except for the refresh period which is at most 30 seconds, the rest of the features are cool. You get to know which apps are using the internet and how much. If you could increase the refresh period to minutes or even hours, it would be lovely, and the battery would deplete slower.

I was probably expecting too much for an unrooted app, but there's basically two features. The first monitors apps and shows how much data they are using abs when, but doesn't show the addresses, ports, or anything else, so not terribly illuminating, but as dev's pointed out the android limits that. Firewall feature is nice but requires VPN to be active and I am usually connected to my home vpn so can't use both, but once again that is probably the only way to make that feature work.

So it's a data usage monitor. And that's it, albeit a better than stock one. Gives you the option to block mobile or WiFi access to apps but I think you have to purchase the firewall for it to work. Not sure about that honestly, description is not clear enough. Be nice if you verified that in the about app description . Well giving it 3 *'s for now as I like how it looks and seems pretty clear in usage details. But yeah, if you could clear up wether or not the firewall needs to be installed Ty.

It's a great application if you don't already use a VPN. Since it has to create a local VPN to block access, unless your device is rooted, then you can't use a regular VPN service running as always on VPN or any other way I'm aware of. The application did exactly what it said and did it pretty well. It wasn't resource intensive but will effect battery life but that's to be expected. Overall it deserves more stars but since I cannot use it I just can't justify it.

Fantastic app! Does exactly what you need it to do with no complications and crystal clear user interface. In just a few minutes I was able to confirm what I suspected, which is that one of my apps (Waze) was consuming an unbelievable amount of data (20MB per startup), which I was then able to find a fix for (download older version) within 24 hours. Thank you GlassWire - you saved me a lot of hassle and a lot of money!

UPDATE - After leaving the app running on the phone for 24 hrs it now seems to have caught up and 'woken up' and is counting mobile data fine. It is now an excellent app that is well worth using. 👍👍. ORIGINAL - I like the look of this app compared to others I've tried but they all seem to have the same problem. Since upgrading to Android 10 it wont count mobile data used. Like i said, I've tried 4 others so far and they've all had the same problem.

A good app, and the only one I could find to work on Android 10 to track my data use. I wish there were the option to open to the data screen, as well as a data screen view by hour. Regardless, it's still quite useful. Thanks.

Great app, recommend. The only issue I have noticed, relatively recently, is that it keeps closing (or crashing) as the notification icon just randomly disappears and I have to open the app again. Any help with this would be appreciated. Edit 1: Currently testing developer suggestion. Edit 2: Test unsuccessful, Glasswire still randomly closed with a few days.

Guys I love the app and I've got a paid subscription but it keeps getting booted off the VPN...? To fix I've got to hit aeroplane mode for a few seconds, then undo aeroplane mode and the Glasswire VPN kicks in again. Kinda sucks because I'm really wanting to "block" a few apps from accessing the internet but because it gets booted (many many times a day) it's letting these apps to access online etc... Samsung Galaxy S10+ Any ideas? I don't want to cancel my subscription...

An absolute must~have... every phone needs this. You'll be amazed at the amount of data that your' cellphone's apps use while you're not even using them, its completely redonk, and Glasswire gives you full control over these previously "do whatever they want, whenever they want" apps. I'd put a recommended price~point out for this, however, GlassWire is simply priceless, as it stands. ~Richard

Such a great, simple GUI and easy to use. Lets you keep track of your data, a big thanks it's really helpful. Also there's NO ads, themes are the only thing that costs but there are no pay walls (no premium features which you have to pay for) <3

feedback team responsive, always work to fix my bugs. the app isn't prefect, but there are no ads and They actually work with you. the firewall works but may take some getting used to. if you have another app that has Draw Over permissions (such as Twilight) you need to turn that off momentarily while you activate the firewall in glasswire (or any firewall). then you can turn Draw Over permissions back on and leave them on.

Nice application, looks good, feels good and is quite useful. I also appreciate a paymodel and leaving ads outside. But the firewall is not a firewall, it's a local VPN. 1 star subtracted for not mentioning this in the description. Question: is there a way to chain / 'connect somehow' my usual VPN which I need for outgoing traffic? If not, this premium feature is useless for me and I'll cancel my subscription.

This is THE way to monitor activity in your phone/tablet/PC, etc... Its free to use & better if you pay the small subscription fee. A clear & easy interface and a great firewall (without the need to root your device, if you don't know what rooting is, this is the app for you) 😀 My only issues with the app are due to limitations of Android. They are working on a way around them and the app still deserves a 5* rating. 7* if they find the workaround 😜

I have a phone with a small data plan, 1.5 GB/month. GlassWire helps me manage all external connections and set access permissions for both WiFi and mobile data. After one week of tweaking settings, I'm comfortable leaving my mobile data service on full-time. As long as I avoid frivolous use of mobile data, I'm confident I'll stay within my imposed LTE data limits.

Great app that runs like advertised. When GlassWire is running it tracks the amount of data your phone is using on both your WiFi and mobile connections. Its also tracking your apps in real time. You can have it alert you when new apps are using data. I use this in conjunction with other means to make sure no malicious apps are using data. If you do see unwanted apps using data you can block them through the included firewall then uninstall them making a good tool in your diy IT arsenal.

I understand that its nessrsary but a later after installing the app (same day as i installed it) i got some ad for some app called 'houseparty' in the form of a text. im not saying that giving permissions to glasswire and this text ad were linked but its quite possible.

A nicely put together app that is clear and easy to use. Except for one vitally important thing. It doesn't work if it continually shuts down. I noticed I am not the only person with this problem and looked into some of the suggested solutions I saw the devs posting. The problem persists after a couple of weeks and I am not prepared to continue looking for a fix. Uninstalled and I will hopefully find an app that works. Honor Play 9 suggested solutions already tried and failed.

Excellent presentation but two issues. The first is that the app randomly just stops and it loses chunks of time as a result. Two there doesn't appear to be anyway to see exactly what communication is being sent or received, i.e IP addresses or domains communicating etc, something more log based to help diagnose suspect communication.

Guardian of my Data. It keeps track of your mobile and internet data usage for your monthly service plan. With the (Paid) Firewall addition subscription, Apps that attempt to use excessive bandwidth or any Data at all can be blocked from using any or all of it. . Essential App that is your best friend when it comes to Data on your phone.

Would rate higher if there was a widget. It seems like a solid app so far though. I just want something like this that shows my data usage under my clock on my phones home screen. Displaying under my notifications I'd better than nothing but takes up needed space whereas my home screen had extra space.

I expected that their exist one app in the whole world which monitor network activity like the one we use in windows task manager. Windows Task manager shows the percentage of data used by particular apps in real time. I expacted the same from glass wire but glasswire is no different than other apps. Atleast you can provide that fearure for rooted phones.

worked amazing for the last few months, after updating to Android Pie it no longer shows live bandwidth in the notification, which alone is almost a deal breaker. It can still track my data usage but not app specific and doesnt show live app usage anymore. And the 1 minute live option is gone, with 5 minutes being the smallest amount. Why has it gone so downhill? edit: changed to 4 stars because of the developer response explaining it's not intentional and there are efforts to resolve theissues.

An easy to use, informative app. Fascinating in what it tells me about all of the background communicating that my phone is trying to do. Haven't tried the FW yet, still learning about capabilities. Will be instrumental in trackingmy activity, accidentally burning through data plans, 'cuz, Who Knew? A few hours on YT, and BAM! half my data is et up. Oooo! Can we set usage alerts on a PER APP (or service, I guess) basis?

Every month I was getting warnings that my data limit was approached or exceeded. I had to keep buying data blocks to avoid penalties. The phone concurred with the cell data usage, but did not indicate (clearly) what was hogging the data. GlassWire indicates when and what app is doing the offending. A good troubleshooting tool!

I've been waiting for app updates to fix this issue, but it's been in vain. Ever since I updated to Android 9, the app no longer monitors my data usage in real time. I only see changes in the figures after 5 to 10 minutes, after which they remain static again till the next 5 to 10 minutes. The issue isn't peculiar to your app alone. I've tried datally, and it's the same thing. Battery optimization tweaks don't work either, and the services seem to be running fine. Please help

This app only works if open it. Then it tracks for a while and just closes itself. If I'm not aware I lose a lot of info cuz it's not open. I don't know cuz when I restart the phone it runs in the background fine... And then over time I have to keep opening it. Quite useless.

Great software. As a refugee from Datally (which can no longer block apps from using mobile data, the entire point of these apps), Glasswire is an almost perfect replacement (although I prefer the "home page" design of Datally.) Yeah, blocking is a paid feature - but if it can prevent your monthly data from being consumed just once, it's already paid for itself.

My data plan gives me a different cap cover over night called 'night surfer' Would be great to customise multiple data plans by time of day as well as month and sim card slot as it stands there is no way to accurately count my data usage for two separate plans, only a general overall look - which isnt particularly helpful. Additionally the app doesnt stay running so it doesnt have an accurate measure of my data usage. This is kind of a deal breaker as thats the whole point of the app.

FIREWALL $$$: Discrepancy between $4.99/ONE-TIME in FEATURES above (fair & why I installed) and surprise recurring of $6.49/YEAR in the app. Since you're asking for my trust, with that purchase policy you won't get it. MISSING FUNCTION: I want to know who is responsible for a sudden burst of data anywhere in the graph. How: on MAIN GRAPH page, tap ANY peak for it go into the single-app page belonging to that peak (eg like presently tapping Chrome in the list below). If there's an app crowd in the peak, order the single-app pages with L/R page-turn buttons (prefs:sort on downloaded, uploaded or combined). In this mode, show us the data quantity transferred for the peak time window only under a finger (not the total as now). A horizontal zoom+pan gesture would be useful for this. Honor the ONE-TIME $4.99 you advertise above, I'll give you 5 stars & get the FIREWALL.

Keep away. Extreamly dangerous if used to limit international data/roaming fees. Wanted to limit my roaming to only Uber while traveling. Using "firewall" worked, for a while, but kept getting disabled at arbitrary times. Meaning data heavy applications had potential roaming access. I.e. netflix can easily download several GB of data in an hour, racking up hundreds of dollars in fees. This application was supposed to protect against this, but no, it did not. OS is updated (Xperia 52.0.A.3.126).

If you wonder what program on your PC or Android drains the most bandwidth which is especially important if you live in a country like Germany that sells contracts with low data caps to ridiculous prices, you will love this app! With it you can filter by Wi-Fi, mobile or both in one chart. It allows you to pinpoint on which date an application used bandwidth and has a very intuitive interface. You can also set alerts for any data cycles you can imagine. I installed it on all my devices. 10/10!

Amazing app. Really pleased with it's ability to do what it is designed for. I have a very small data plan as I'm on a budget and now it lasts so much longer now I can stop all those apps eating up my mobile data. I dropped 1 star as unfortunately this advantage is slightly offset by the fact that the app is very power hungry, using 30% of my battery so I am having to charge it twice as often. otherwise it's great.

This app actually provides the services it promised. You can see, in realtime, your apps accessing the internet. It shows the amount, and the direction, of data flowing to and from your apps. It provides good insight into the behavior of your apps. Dont freak out when you see what your apps are up to. I found several apps, that I thought were disabled, still active. Apps provided by google play store were calling home! GlassWire helps you manage your apps/data. I love it. Thanks GlassWire!

From a professional IT standpoint this is one of the lighest weight and most effective monitoring applications I have come across in my 10 years working. Feature requests: 1. option to show (at the top status bar? which also shows battery and time) data going in and out through cellular and wifi. 2. to block apps when they are not in use (when we are not actively using them). For example I want to block the play store until I use it. Thanks for the great user intereface. I prefer a theme in black white and blue. Very poor. Testing this against 2 others apps. It completely missed a massive background download that the others picked up on. If I could give 10 stars I would!!! My internet was dropping randomly for months and no matter what measures I put in place i could not find the root cause. Thanks to GlassWire I found the root cause. It was Google Photos backing up as a background app (Not even showing in my currently used App list) and consuming my ADSL bandwidth and preventing the ACKs coming back. It tools months to try and identify root cause, it took minutes with Glasswire! Thanks GlassWire.

It's a great app, exactly what I was looking for in a data tracker. I do however have some suggestions. Visuals are already very appealing, though custom coloured graphs would be quite nice to have. If I could change the default period for which the graph displays your usage that would be great too, now I have to manually change it to the 1st of the month every time I check my data usage for the month. Nevertheless, very pleased with the app!

I really like the UI, its fresh looking design and its real-time tracking of mobile data usage. However, it is still lacking alot of the advanced features that I am looking for such as: 1. Zero-rated days (e.g. unlimited data during weekends) 2. Zero-rated times of the day (e.g. unlimited data between 12:00am to 6:00am) 3. Support for separate data usage tracking for multi-SIM devices 4. Shared plan (e.g. track data usage across devices sharing the same plan) Please add the features above, I am sure there are people like me willing to upgrade to the paid version with such features. Thanks.

The general idea, layout and working of the app is great, but it doesn't seem to track usage from my google chrome app correctly. The app and UI is amazing. Good job. The only concern I would like to draw your kind attention is in the notification panel it shows GB consumed which the user has to put it manually one time will setting the app. Afterwards as one consumes data this notification which appears on the top of the screen does not update. However, if i open the app it shows how much i have consumed per day / week / month. Could you please escalate this to concerned developers and look into this matter. Thanks.

Just terrible. Functionality is useless. Android already give data usage features for free. There's a ton of other better firewall apps for free available! Don't download this. Really you could of just made the firewall free and charged for the skins. Datally by Google is free (and what better than to use software made by the same company that started Android?!) NetGaurd, NoRoot Firewall, Mobiwol are also free. Just search for "no root firewall" and you'll find plenty of better free alternatives that have been around longer and likely have fewer bugs. Glasswire is expensive trash that people fall for after seeing a bunch of advertisements.

This is the MISSING TOOL that's always been needed in Android/even Windows devices... With GlassWire I can go back to single purpose apps not having to worry about incorporating LAN/FTP, etc... with apps for regular wifi connectivity & other types... This is a one-stop-solution for most activities involved in communication but it's done so well and the UI us so uncluttered there is not any confusion. Very well thought out!!!

I was in search of a similar app which shows me detailed internet usage but one thing that annoys me is that the app closes itself and does not run in the background even when the persistent notifications are turned on. I love the app but where it could use some work is with taking into account the data that is being used. When your tethering to another device like a laptop. Whilst using the app it missed around 5.70gb of data used. Which I had actually used 24gb worth of data of my 30gb allowance that's a big difference. For this I cannot totally depend on this app.

5 Stars because it's top quality, does what it needs to do, and looks mighty fine doing it. (Night Neon skin is worth the $$$ IMO) 'Small' suggestion, may have been asked for before, is there any chance of a toggleable overlay for the Bandwidth Speed Meter so it's accessible without having to grab at the pull down and pause the video/game/application I have running. Thankyou for supplying us all with such a useful app <3 we appreciate your hard work.

This app has the most useful information related to your internet usage. Every app(including those that you uninstalled) has the usage pattern recorded. Way to go! Bandwidth speeds on the status bar would be a fantastic addition. Right now, I need to pull down the notification shade, to see the speeds.

Seemed great at first, but no matter what I did I couldn't get the app to display my actual billing cycle in my notifications. I could change it in the app, but the notification insisted on showing me data usage from the first of the month. Finally had to uninstall.

I'll never own another phone without this app or another exactly like it. Ever wonder how many useless apps, most of which come pre installed, use data in the background? This app will monitor and report to you ANY application that uses your phones antenna or wifi instantly and keep log of it; as well as provide quick access to the settings of the offending app. Free up battery life and data easily and quickly. Plus, no more creepy adds from apps that spy on you.
